In the process of inducing metal, coil receives heat from the molten metal (molten). Therefore, it takes a cooling medium flowing in the coil casing and has a good conductivity. So here media of cooling tower water is used, so the water temperature can be maintained at the ambient air wet bulb temperature. With the optimal heat absorption cooling tower efficiency can be maintained. Besides, the material aluminum / molten can be melted well as the process of inducing metal running perfectly and there is no buildup of material on the walls of the furnace. With the application of a double pump with the series circuit to increase the water flow rate and can boost the absorption of the heat from the furnace wall and the pipe to the water coil.

Economizer is Heat Exchanger with Crossflow type that have function as reheater the water to degreasing process. System of Economizer had operated continuously for 7 years. So from this condition Effectiveness and Temperature possibility Can’t achieve the Requirement. Degreasing Process is a part of Painting process in Vehicle manufacturing that have function to degrease the oil, dust and etc. A decrease in the effectiveness of this, we need recalculation and compare with design condition to get better effectiveness. Analysis will be refer to fluid flow, overall heat transfer coefficient (U), and Efffectiveness of Economizer it self. Based on result of Calculation and Experiment, the flow of fluid is turbulent flow with Reynold number 12002.14 (Max Condition). Overall heat transfer coefficient (U) is 16.18 W/mK, while the design condition is 48 W/m.K also for Effectiveness is 32.16% and the design condition is 50%. This calculation Proved decreasing of that the performance of economizer. It is caused by scaling of the inner pipe with ratio 2.26%. Scaling will be reduce thermal conductivity of the pipe and also gradient of Temperature.

Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) 8 operates since January 2010. The problem that occurs from the gas turbine system is decreasing of electrical power. From the commissioning data, GTG 8 is capable of generating 120.2 megawatts of electrical power. In March 2017 GTG 8 was only able to generate electricity by 109.1 megawatts. There was a decrease of 9.23% of electric power capacity. Overview of thermal efficiency and heat loss needs to be done to find out improvement opportunities and recommendations. At commissioning period, thermal efficiency reaches 32.06% while from 2013 to 2017 the average thermal efficiency value reaches only 29.25%. From the data obtained rate of efficiency decreasing 2.81%. At commissioning, the resulting heat loss only reached 135.03 MW. The current operating conditions average heat loss reached 172.50 MW. There was a deviation of 37.47 MW or 21.7%. Based on calculations and data, one factor that can decrease of thermal efficiency and increase heat loss is the compression temperature. The increase in compression temperature is caused by the dust and impurities that enter into the compressor that precipitates on the compressor blades so that the compressed air temperature tends to increase. Dust and impurities can be reduced by the offline water wash method. This process can lower the compression temperature from 693.68 OF to 690.62 OF. A decline of 3.06 OF. This results in actual work of the compressor decreasing from 153.26 Btu / lb to 152.13 Btu / lb. Turbine thermal efficiency tends to increase from 29.02% to 29.43% or increase by 0.41%. After the offline water wash process, the generator generated power reaches 110.50 MW. Increases 4 MW or 3.62% compared to before the compressor is cleaned. The increase causes the system's heat loss to decrease by 5.2 MW or 2.96%.

Automatic motor engine 4 stroke system uses a carburetor engine is still less than optimal performance. To overcome these problems it created tools that the air intake tube Turbulent Air Vent Tube (AVTT). AVTT is a tool that serves to improve the quality of air intake into the cylinder motor fuel, by changing the air flow laminar to turbulent flow so that the fuel combustion process is ideal close to perfect. AVTT tube designed using aluminum material types AVTT in 6069. Installation of the air filter duct size is adjusted to the motor air filter diameter hole. To determine the performance of a motorcycle engine can be made by automatic test engine performance using a dynamometer. Tests conducted to analyze the effect of the use of AVTT on engine performance includes the automatic motor torque, data, air fuel ratio and fuel consumption. The test results showed that the use AVTT able to increase the torque of 0.06 - 13.74%, power from 0.08 - 13.74%, and the air fuel ratio of 18: 1 - 10: 1, and can reduce fuel consumption 2 - 9 % in both engine variants automatic motor 4 stroke.

One of many kinds of production processes in Politeknik Manufaktur Astra is Plastic Injection Process with ABS material. This process will produce plastic and scrap. The amount of plastic scrap that is produced by this process reaches 50% of all of the amount. To increase the efficiency of ABS material and build up the culture of Sustainable Development System so that is done a kind of research that is focused on the utilization of plastic waste material from Process of Plastic Injection by doing a recycle process and using the product of recycle as the basic additive material in Plastic Injection Process. To figure out the properness of the material of recycled plastic as the main material in Plastic Injection Process so is also done a tensile test to any composition of recycled ABS material and valuing certain mechanical properties that are similar to original ABS material. Moreover to cut the cost of ABS material providing so is done an analysis of material reservation with EOQ method to figure out the economic number of material reservation. The calculation of EOQ showed the most economic amount per reserving is 75kg/reserve. By the utilization of recycled material and usage of EOQ method on providing the ABS material so that Politeknik Manufaktur Astra can do a cost reduction for 36%.

On a project of building jack-up drilling rig CL15 done by PT.X and PT.Y, it uses standard bilge design of PT.X from existing jack-up drilling rig LL90 that has been ever done before. While the design of tanks and compartments CL15 is designed by PT.Y which has differences from the standard of PT.X there is also different rule to be applied . the LL90 uses France class (BV) while CL15 uses American class (ABS). By refering the rule of ABS and hydraulic system theory, the analysis is done covering design and operating capability of bilge system which is done maually so the changes that needs to be applied will be covered to prove that the design of LL90 can be used for CL15 under rule of ABS covering line design, pump capacity, velve selection. Experience of meeting God constitutes an interresting phenomenon and become the focus of interrest of many disciplines. Psychology and tasawuf are two disciplines which focusedly study this phenomenon applying different approaches. Ghazali is the representative of the dicsipline of tasawwuf and William James is the representative of the dicsipline of psychology. The both experts applied the different approaches in studying the religious experiences. Epistemological base on which William James used , has the scientific accountability but less accurate in the source of knowledge. In other side, Ghazali has a deep source of knowledge but less of rationality. An effort to compromise the both approach in order to study about the experience of meeting God will result in a comprehensive, deep, and objective depiction.***Pengalaman bersua Tuhan merupakan fenomena yang menarik dan menjadi titik perhatian banyak disiplin ilmu. Psikologi dan tasawuf merupakan dua disiplin ilmu yang memfokuskan kajiannya pada fenomena ini dengan menerapkan pendekatan yang berbeda. Ghazali adalah representasi dari disiplin ilmu tasawuf dan William James adalah representasi disiplin ilmu psikologi. Kedua ahli tersebut menggunakan pendekatan yang berbeda dalam mengkaji pengalaman keagamaan. Basis epistimologi yang digunakan oleh James memiliki akuntabilitas ilmiah namun kurang akurat dalam sumber pengetahuannya. Di sisi lain Ghazali memiliki sumber pengetahuan yang dalam namun kurang dari sisi rasionalitas. Upaya untuk mengkompromikan kedua pendekatan dalam rangka untuk mengkaji pengalaman bersua Tuhan akan menghasilkan penggambaran yang dalam dan obyektif.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pelatihan dan motivasi terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan PT Lion Mentari Airlines Bandara Soekarno Hatta CengkarengJenis penelitian merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik penulis menjadikan karyawan PT Lion Mentari Airlines Bandara Soekarno Hatta Cengkareng, adapun populasi sebanyak 185 sementara jumlah sampel diperoleh dari perhitungan Slovin sebanyak 65 responden. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS Versi 22. Teknik uji sampling menggunakan metode sensus dan teknik pengambilan data diantaranya uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik dan uji regresi linear berganda serta uji hipotesis.Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi variabel pelatihan (X1) terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja sebesar 0.364. Hasil ini menjawab rumusan masalah satu dan Ha diterima serta Ho ditolak. Hasil analisis regresi variabel motivasi terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan sebesar 0.510. Hasil ini menjawab rumusan masalah dua dan Ha diterima serta Ho ditolak. Sedangkan Konstanta sebesar 1.873, menjelaskan meskipun tidak ada variabel pelatihan dan motivasi yang mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja, karyawan tetap memiliki nilai produktivitas kerja sebesar 1.873.

Tujuan penelitian adalah melakukan analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan masyarakat mengikuti program pemberian obat masal pencegahan (pomp) filariasis di Wilayah Puskesmas Maleber Kabupaten Kuningan. Desain penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi sebanyak 42.167 orang dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 240 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara. Analisa data Analisa bivariate menggunakan chi square dan analisa multivariate dengan regresi logistik. Variable motivasi (p 0.006), derajat perubahan gaya hidup (p 0.049), nilai/keyakinan mengurangi ancaman sakit (0.000), pemahaman terhadap tingkah laku specific yang harus dilakukan (0.000), derajat kesukaran menerima dan melaksanakan instruksi (0.000), keyakinan terhadap terapi / instruksi (0.000), kekhawatiran terhadap efek samping obat (0.020), dan derajat kepuasan terhadap pelayanan kesehatan (0.022), memiliki nilai p < dari 0.05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan, bahwa variabel tersebut memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepatuhan masyarakat mengikuti program POMP filariasis. Factor dominan yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan masyarakat mengikuti program POMP filariasis adalah nilai/keyakinan mengurangi ancaman sakit dengan nilai Exp (B) paling tinggi, yaitu 4.251. Perencanaan dan alokasi anggaran, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan promosi / pendidikan kesehatan khususnya program POMP filariasis perlu dtingkatkan. Perlu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mencari metoda/pendekatan maupun media yang lebih efektif dalam pelaksanaan promosi dan pendidikan kesehatan kepada masyarakat

Weirmeter is a discharge gauge on an open-channel flow that is usually applied to dams and rivers. In each weirmeter there is a discharge coefficient (Cd), which is the coefficient multiplied by the theoretical discharge to obtain the actual discharge because the pressure difference and flow velocity are neglected. The Cd is directly proportional to the discharge. The actual debit measurement results do not approximate the result (the multiplication of the theoretical debit with Cd). This difference may be due to unequal Cd values for each weir dimension, one of which is the weir height (P). Therefore it is necessary to test the weirmeter with P varies in order to know the pattern and the value of Cd. The tested weirmeter is sharp-crested v-notch 90o with a length of 200 cm and a width of 35.5 cm. P used is 20.3 cm; 21.3 cm; and 22.3 cm. From the test, the Cd value is inversely proportional to P although some of these test results are far from the theory because it requires a 90% confidence interval on the Student distribution (t distribution). The value of Cd in weirmeter used is 0.6996 for P 20.3 cm; 0.6657 for P 21.3 cm; and 0.5781 for P 22.3 cm.
