Abstract

Abstrak - Dalam era teknologi yang semakin maju, kebutuhan akan sistem absensi yang efisien dan otomatis menjadi sangat penting, terutama di lingkungan kerja dengan aktivitas padat seperti Toko Roti Bread Smile. Absensi manual yang masih digunakan terbukti menimbulkan berbagai kendala, seperti keterlambatan rekapitulasi data, risiko kehilangan dokumen, serta kesulitan pemantauan kehadiran secara real-time. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dikembangkan sistem absensi berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dengan penerapan teknologi Face Recognition dan pendekatan Edge Computing. Sistem ini menggunakan dengan arsitektur MobileNetV2 yang ringan dan akurat dalam mengenali wajah secara real-time. Proses inferensi dilakukan langsung pada perangkat ESP32 tanpa ketergantungan pada koneksi internet, sehingga tetap dapat digunakan dalam kondisi offline. Sistem juga memanfaatkan kamera OV2640 untuk menangkap citra wajah dan layar TFT sebagai antarmuka yang menampilkan hasil pengenalan secara langsung kepada pengguna. Selain itu, sistem dilengkapi dengan antarmuka web yang memungkinkan admin untuk memantau, mengelola, dan merekap data absensi secara efisien dan terpusat. Sistem dirancang agar dapat mendeteksi wajah dengan cepat dan akurat dalam berbagai kondisi pencahayaan dan orientasi wajah. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pengujian pengenalan wajah serta sinkronisasi data antara mode offline dan online. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mencatat kehadiran secara tepat, aman, dan dapat diandalkan. Pendekatan ini terbukti efektif dalam mendukung pengelolaan absensi yang modern, fleksibel, serta sesuai diterapkan pada lingkungan kerja berskala kecil hingga menengah.Kata kunci : Absensi, Internet of Things; Face Recognition; Convolutional Neural Network; Edge Computing; ESP32; Abstract - In an era of increasingly advanced technology, the need for an efficient and automated attendance system is very important, especially in a work environment with busy activities such as Bread Smile Bakery. The manual attendance that is still used has proven to cause various obstacles, such as delays in data recapitulation, the risk of losing documents, and difficulties in monitoring attendance in real-time. To overcome these problems, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based attendance system was developed with the application of Face Recognition technology and the Edge Computing approach. This system uses Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm with MobileNetV2 architecture that is lightweight and accurate in recognizing faces in real-time. The inference process is carried out directly on the ESP32 device without dependence on an internet connection, so it can still be used in offline conditions. The system also utilizes an OV2640 camera to capture facial images and a TFT screen as an interface that displays the recognition results directly to the user. In addition, the system is equipped with a web interface that allows admins to monitor, manage, and recap attendance data efficiently and centrally. The system is designed to detect faces quickly and accurately in various lighting conditions and face orientations. Evaluation is conducted through face recognition testing as well as data synchronization between offline and online modes. The results show that the system is able to record attendance precisely, securely, and reliably. This approach is proven to be effective in supporting modern, flexible attendance management, and is suitable for small to medium-sized work environments. Keywords: Attendance; Internet of Things; Face Recognition; Convolutional Neural Network; Edge Computing; ESP32;

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the multicultural behavior and intercultural communication of students based on their ethnic background and gender differences. This study uses a quantitative and qualitative approach with survey methods and in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that the multicultural behavior and intercultural communication of high school students in Yogyakarta are in the positive category. The multicultural behavior of Javanese students is directed towards cultural insight and flexibility, while non-Javanese students are more dominant in communication, cultural values, and cultural awareness. The multicultural behavior of female students is directed towards cultural insight, communication, cultural values, and cultural awareness, while male students are more dominant in flexibility. The intercultural communication of Javanese students tends to be more stable in terms of communication style and competence, while non-Javanese students have a higher intensity because they are able to actively practice cross-cultural communication. Intercultural communication carried out by female students in all dimensions tends to be higher than that of male students.

Abstract

Descriptions of the blessings of paradise are widely mentioned in the Qur’an in various forms, yet they are commonly understood merely as eschatological rewards in the hereafter. However, upon deeper examination, these descriptions are not only informative, but also contain moral and spiritual values that can be reflected as a foundation for happiness in worldly life. This study aims to identify Qur’anic verses that depict the blessings of paradise and explain how these descriptions can be reflected as a Qur’anic concept of happiness for human life in the world. This research employs a qualitative method through library research by examining tafsir works and relevant literature, collecting verses related to paradise, analyzing their meanings, and formulating the characteristics of paradise’s blessings—both material and spiritual. The findings reveal that the blessings of paradise are not only eschatological rewards, but also contain moral and spiritual messages that may serve as a guide for achieving true happiness in the world. Thus, the Qur’anic portrayal of paradise can be understood as an ideal model of happiness based on faith, inner peace, and noble character.

Abstract

The integration of general knowledge and religion in modern Islamic education is a crucial issue in the era of globalization and technological advancement. The main problem raised is the dichotomy between religious knowledge and general knowledge, which hinders the development of holistic Islamic education. The aim of this research is to explore the challenges and opportunities in the integration process, with a focus on philosophical, theological and practical approaches. The research method used is a literature review with qualitative analysis of relevant literature. The research results show that the integration of general knowledge and religion can increase the relevance of Islamic education to the needs of our time, although structural and paradigmatic challenges still constitute the main obstacles. Support from various parties is the key to successfully implementing this integration.

Abstract

Abstract: Batik is a valuable cultural heritage of Indonesia, combining artistic and historical significance. In the digital era, integrating Batik into an online catalog website can enhance cultural promotion and product sales. This study focuses on designing a Batik catalog website that merges traditional cultural values with modern digital technology to create an engaging, user-friendly experience. Using a comparative qualitative approach, several existing Batik catalog websites were analyzed to identify design strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. Thematic and SWOT analysis were applied to examine visual design, navigation, and interactive features. Findings suggest that an optimal Batik catalog website should balance Batik’s visual aesthetics with functional e-commerce features, provide interactive elements, and ensure responsive purchasing processes. This approach improves user experience while promoting Batik as a cultural product. Di era digital, integrasi Batik ke dalam website katalog online dapat meningkatkan promosi budaya sekaligus penjualan produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang website katalog Batik yang menggabungkan nilai budaya tradisional dengan teknologi digital modern guna menciptakan pengalaman pengguna yang menarik dan mudah digunakan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif komparatif, beberapa website katalog Batik yang ada dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, dan peluang desain. Analisis tematik dan SWOT digunakan untuk menilai desain visual, navigasi, serta fitur interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website katalog Batik yang optimal harus mampu menyeimbangkan estetika visual Batik dengan fitur e-commerce yang fungsional, menyediakan elemen interaktif, serta memastikan proses pembelian yang responsif. Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has had a significant impact in various scientific fields, including the study of Qur'an interpretation. One of the most sensitive aspects of the study of tafsir is the interpretation of mutasyabihat verses, which are verses that contain vague meaning and require theological caution. This study aims to analyze the capabilities and feasibility of four Artificial Intelligence tools, namely ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and PI, in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an. This research uses a library research method with a qualitative approach through content analysis. The data was obtained from the results of AI interpretation of four mutasyabihat verses, namely QS. Ṭaha [20]:5, QS. Al-Qaṣaṣ [28]:88, QS. Ar-Raḥmān [55]:27, and QS. Al-Fatḥ [48]:10, which was then compared with the conventional commentaries of Ath-Ṭabari and Ibn Kathir as an indicator of validity. The results show that all AI tools tend to use a descriptive, non-literal, and theologically cautious approach. ChatGPT and Claude show the highest feasibility from methodological and theological aspects, Gemini excels in linguistic aspects, while PI has limitations in the depth of interpretation analysis. This research confirms that AI has the potential to be a tool in the study of the interpretation of mutasyabihat verses, but it has not been able to replace the authority of mufasir and classical interpretation methodologies. Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah membawa dampak signifikan dalam berbagai bidang keilmuan, termasuk studi tafsir Al-Qur’an. Salah satu aspek yang paling sensitif dalam kajian tafsir adalah penafsiran ayat-ayat mutasyabihat, yaitu ayat-ayat yang mengandung makna samar dan memerlukan kehati-hatian teologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kemampuan serta kelayakan empat tools Artificial Intelligence, yaitu ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, dan PI, dalam menafsirkan ayat-ayat mutasyabihat Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis isi (content analysis). Data diperoleh dari hasil penafsiran AI terhadap empat ayat mutasyabihat, yaitu QS. Ṭaha [20]:5, QS. Al-Qaṣaṣ [28]:88, QS. Ar-Raḥmān [55]:27, dan QS. Al-Fatḥ [48]:10, yang kemudian dibandingkan dengan tafsir konvensional Ath-Ṭabari dan Ibnu Katsir sebagai indikator validitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh tools AI cenderung menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif, non-literal, dan berhati-hati secara teologis. ChatGPT dan Claude menunjukkan kelayakan tertinggi dari aspek metodologis dan teologis, Gemini unggul pada aspek linguistik, sementara PI memiliki keterbatasan dalam kedalaman analisis tafsir. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa AI berpotensi menjadi alat bantu dalam kajian tafsir ayat-ayat mutasyabihat, namun belum dapat menggantikan otoritas mufasir dan metodologi tafsir klasik.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat mendorong transformasi digital pada sektor Usaha Mikro Kecil dan menengah, termasuk bisnis katering. Catering Sanjita, sebuah UMKM di Cirebon yang berdiri sejak 1998, menghadapi tantangan persaingan dengan kompetitor yang telah beralih ke platform digital, sementara Sanjita masih mengandalkan promosi yang terbatas pada Instagram serta Whatsapp. Keterbatasan ini menyebabkan manajemen pesanan tidak efisien. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dan meningkatkan daya saing, penelitian ini merancang aplikasi mobile website Catering Sanjita. Tujuan utama perancangan ini adalah meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna dan kepuasan pelanggan, serta memperluas jangkauan pemasaran. Metode Design Thinking diterapkan dalam proses perancangan, meliputi tahapan Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Test untuk memastikan solusi yang berpusat pada pengguna,  fokus utama perancangan terletak pada desain antarmuka pengguna yang intuitif, menarik, dan mudah diakses oleh berbagai kalangan. Aplikasi mobile website ini diharapkan dapat menyajikan informasi menu secara visual, mempermudah proses pemesanan, dan menyediakan opsi pembayaran yang praktis. Dengan demikian, aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional Catering Sanjita, memberikan pengalaman pemesanan yang menyenangkan, dan pada akhirnya mampu bersaing di era industri saat ini, serta menjadi contoh bagi Usaha mikro kecil dan menengah lain. Kata Kunci : Antarmuka Pengguna, Design Thinking, Mobile Website, Pengalaman Pengguna

Abstract

The banking industry in Indonesia has to contend with constantly shifting obstacles in order to retain top talent. The stability of the business and the return on investments in human capital development are both adversely affected by high staff turnover rates. The purpose of this study is to examine how organizational commitment mediates the relationship between leadership, turnover intention, and human resource development among Tangerang private bank workers. Understanding the factors that determine the high degree of turnover intention in the banking industry is crucial since it can negatively affect organizational stability. 190 individuals participated in an online survey that collected data for this study, which used quantitative methodologies. Using SmartPLS, structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the data. The findings demonstrated that, either directly or indirectly, human resource development has no discernible impact on organizational commitment or turnover intention. On the other hand, leadership significantly lowers turnover intention. The study's findings highlight how crucial it is to train leaders effectively in order to increase staff retention. Organizations must also establish a healthy work environment and strike a balance between employees' personal and professional lives in order to increase their loyalty to the business. The findings of this study add to the body of knowledge on the variables influencing turnover intention and help managers create human resource management plans that are more successful. Students with good career adaptability can effectively plan their careers and take responsibility for their career decisions. Through the Merdeka Campus Certified Internship Program, students can develop career adaptability, preparing them to face challenges and changes in the workforce. This study aims to examine the direct influence of peer support, emotional intelligence, and career decision self-efficacy on career adaptability. The research employs a quantitative approach, targeting students from Esa Unggul University Jakarta who have participated in the Merdeka Campus Certified Internship Program. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a sample size of 130 respondents and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM PLS) with statistical software. The results show that peer support positively influences career decision self-efficacy. Furthermore, a positive influence of emotional intelligence on career decision self-efficacy was found. Additionally, career decision self-efficacy positively affects career adaptability. However, while emotional intelligence positively influences career decision self-efficacy, it does not directly impact career adaptability. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for universities, government, and institutions to more effectively prepare students for career challenges and changes. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between authentic leadership, psychological capital, job satisfaction and job performance in employees working in manufacturing companies in the province of Banten, Indonesia. This study was conducted with 387 respondents. The research respondents were selected using the purposive sampling method. The research conducted was a quantitative study using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method. The results of this study prove that there is an influence between psychological capital on job satisfaction, and authentic leadership on job satisfaction; Then job satisfaction affects work engagement and work engagement affects job performance. The managerial implications of this study are that companies must be able to encourage employees to have good work performance by paying attention to variables that can improve it, namely employees must feel full involvement between themselves and the organization, then employees must also be happy with their work and then employees must be confident in what they do.
