Abstract

This research analyzed the internalization of the Islamic concept of ihsan as a form of social capital integrated into corporate work culture to strengthen leadership competencies and human resource development. The focus is on implementing spirituality in work culture and identifying institutional da'wa values embedded in management practices. Using a constructivist paradigm and a qualitative case study method, this research explored ihsan within the work culture practiced by the Human Capital Division's Sub-Division of Spiritual Capital Management at PT Telkom. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis concerning corporate da'wa activities aligned with the spiritual capital approach. The findings revealed a spiritually driven work culture reflected in "The Telkom Way" operationalized through three foundational elements: philosophy, principles, and practices (3P). The work culture serves as spiritual capital, measurably impacting organizational performance through enhanced service quality metrics and employee satisfaction through improved workplace spiritual well-being assessments. The concept of ihsan is strongly related to the "Always the Best" work ethic promoted within the company, emphasizing excellence in service as a form of devotion, benefiting individuals, teams, and society. From a corporate da'wa perspective, "The Telkom Way" represents integrating Islamic values into the modern business context. The core philosophy of ihsan, embodied in the "Always the Best" principle, manifests Islamic teachings on excellence and integrity in professional conduct. This research contributes to the development of institutional da'wa perspectives as a foundational value influencing the corporate culture of major Indonesian organizations, while also analyzing the synergy between spirituality and business practices in a Muslim-majority context through quantifiable evidence of improved organizational outcomes and employee well-being indicators.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the position of the Quranic verse in the consideration of the judge's decision and to find out the reasons for the judge to use the Quranic verse as one of the considerations in deciding sharia economic disputes. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with normative juridical method and case approach. The main data source is 20 sharia economic case decisions with a time span from 2015-2025 as a sample selected through purposive sampling technique. The type of data collection used is in the form of writing with literature studies and also communication methods in the form of interviews. The results of this study indicate that the position of the Koran in the consideration of judges' decisions in sharia economic disputes is a binding legal norm, but there is no obligation to include it. This means that the Quranic argument is only a complement to the judge's argument. However, even though there is no obligation to include it, a religious court judge is obliged to decide cases based on Islamic law, either using the Fatwa DSN MUI or KHES which is an applied law based on the arguments of the Koran. Then, the reason why judges use Quranic verses as one of the considerations in deciding sharia economic disputes is to strengthen the legal basis used in the decision and provide transparency and clarity regarding sharia principles.

Abstract

This article focuses on analyzing the urgency of authorities in adapting technology to modern financial services. Conventional financial institutions (existing institutions) are entering a new era, where all financial transaction activities are connected to technology. The development of digital financial services such as electronic money (digital payments) and digital funds (crowdfunding) creates very fierce competition in today's modern financial services industry. The main problem that arises in the adaptation of information technology in financial services is legal certainty and protection for parties involved in digital financial transactions. This research analyzes the development trend of digital financial services in Indonesia. In addition, this study shows the efforts made by regulators in anticipating legal problems. Views on Islamic digital financial dispute resolution approaches and procedures are also the focus of discussion in this article. The method used in this study is literature research. This research uses an exploratory normative legal approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observing, reviewing, and analyzing textual information which is then adapted as the main data in the discussion of this research topic. Data was collected from a literature review in the form of library materials or secondary data related to digital finance. This research produced several findings, namely: 1) the urgency of the authority in controlling the implementation of Islamic digital finance by presenting special regulations to minimize disputes between the parties. 2) Sharia digital financial platforms are ensured to have maximum Sharia compliance tools through Sharia compliance audits under the control of the authority.

Abstract

The background of this research relates to the implementation of the Al-Quran teaching method in the One Village One Hafizh (Sadesha) Program in West Java Province, which aims to create 6000 hafizh-hafizhah by 2022. The program is expected to contribute to improving the quality of religious education and Quran teaching at the village level. This study aims to analyze the management of teaching methods applied in the program. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, which involves secondary data analysis in the form of annual reports and program-related documents, as well as interviews with relevant parties such as program coordinators and participants. The results showed that the management of the Sadesha program in West Java Province has been running well, in accordance with the established plan. The program uses two main strategies, namely empowerment and cadre, to achieve the target number of hafizh-hafizhah. Obstacles found related to the imbalance in the number of participants between districts/cities can be overcome through subsidies between districts/cities. The conclusion of this study is that the Sadesha program has successfully achieved its main objectives, with successes that can be used as a model for the development of similar programs in other regions. However, there are several obstacles that need to be overcome, such as the distribution of participants and honorarium issues, which require further attention to improve the program.

Abstract

There is little doubt that sound corporate governance is the foundation for the quick rise of Sharia banks. One of Indonesia's most well-known Islamic banks is Bank Muamalat, which has grown significantly in popularity. Bank Muamalat Indonesia needs the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) to monitor its activities and ensure they align with sound corporate governance standards. Law No. 21 Article 32 of 2008, which strengthens PBI regulations, and Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 11/33/PBI/2009 are two further regulatory references that DPS uses for oversight. This study evaluates the efficacy of the DPS-implemented rules, namely Law No. 21 Article 32 of 2008 and Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 11/33/PBI/2009. This study uses normative legal research with a research approach using the statute approach and a conceptual approach. This study shows that due to the legal effectiveness carried out by DPS in its regulations, namely Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 11/33/PBI/2009 and Law No. 21 Article 32 of 2008, DPS has been quite effective in carrying out its duties by laws and regulations. This is evidenced by the implementation and absence of violations committed by DPS while carrying out their duties as supervisors. DPS Education Background is very influential in becoming a member of DPS. Unfortunately, in the GCG report of Bank Muamalat Indonesia, there is no mention of the development made by the institution in improving the competence of the National Supervisory Board.

Abstract

Phenomenological approach has its own characteristics that are different from other approaches to understanding agama.Pendekatan phenomenology is a method to what is experienced by religion, what is felt, said and done, and how well the experience meaningful for him. There are two approaches religious phenomenology, First, phenomenology is a method for understanding the religion of someone who include most businesses in assessing options and their commitment neutrally as preparation for the reconstruction of the experiences of others. Second, the construction of the taxonomic scheme for classifying phenomena blasted with cultural boundaries and religious groups. In general, the approach fenomologi just caught the side of religious experience and religious reaction similarity of all human beings equally, regardless of the dimensions of space and time and cultural differences. Truth phenomenological study is an explanation of the meaning of rites, rituals, ceremonies, doctrine, or social relations and in religious actors. Religion as a chain of authoritative tradition implies that religions should be understood as a religion, not because they believe or do not believe in God, spirit or partially transcendent form, but because of their beliefs transmits and strengthens the authority of tradition.

Abstract

This study aims to explore public complaints directed at Indonesia’s Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS) as expressed on Platform X, through the analytical framework of Maqashid Shari’ah. Employing a qualitative research design, this study utilizes digital content analysis to examine and interpret public complaints posted on Platform X. The data were collected through purposive sampling of user-generated posts that explicitly criticized or questioned BPJS services, particularly in the context of health accessibility, affordability, and responsiveness. These complaints were then categorized thematically according to the five Maqashid Shari’ah indicators. The findings reveal significant dissatisfaction related to the preservation of life and wealth, as users reported delays in service provision, unclear administrative procedures, and unequal treatment across demographic and regional lines. Complaints also revealed emotional and psychological stress linked to navigating the system, suggesting broader implications for the protection of intellect and dignity. The study concludes that while BPJS has made notable progress in expanding healthcare access in Indonesia, critical shortcomings in implementation and service quality persist, undermining its alignment with the ethical objectives of Islamic law. This research contributes to academic discourse by bridging Islamic jurisprudential theory with digital ethnographic methods, offering a novel framework for evaluating public service institutions in Muslim-majority contexts. It also highlights the value of social media as a tool for gauging public sentiment and institutional accountability.
