AbstractThe purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of results of IPS students use the model of Cooperative Learning type Team Game Tournament (TGT) grade V SDN Negeri 10 Bandar Buat, Padang city. This type of Research is classroom action Research by using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The Research subject is the teacher (practitioner) and 27 students. The results showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II by the: a) planning 9%, b) implementation, aspects of the teacher and aspects of students amounted to 17.9%, and c) student learning outcomes amounting to 25.9%. Thus, the application of model Cooperative Larning type Team Game Tournament (TGT) can improve student learning outcomes in learning IPS at class V SDN 10 Bandar Buat, kota Padang Keywords : Learning Outcomes, Learning social studies, TGT

The purposeof this study was to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in teaching Citizenship Education (Civics) by using the talking stick in class IV SDN 04 Koto Ranah .By fifth grade students study subjects totaling 14 people..Research that has been conducted shows an increase inboththe learning process and assessment of student learning outcomes. Results of research conducted in two cycles shows that the results of the assessment in terms ofplanning (RPP) in the first cycle is 73% rise in the second cycle to be 93%.Assessment results in terms oft he implementation aspects of the teacher in the first cycle increased 72% to 92,5%, while theresults of the assessment in terms ofthe implementation aspects of the students in the first cycle was a 70% increase in cycle II increased to 95%. Learning outcomes in the first cycle is rising 72% to 86% in the second cycle. This study aims to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning processes with a problem based learning approach in class IV SDN 18 Air Tawar Selatan, Padang City. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the observation of RPP in cycle 1 obtained an average of 89.76%, and cycle 2 gained an average of 97.72%. Aspects of students in the first cycle with a percentage of 88.38% increased in the second cycle to 96.42%. This proves the scientific approach can improve student learning processes.

1 This study aims to determine whether the effect of probem - based learning model is significant on the student’ learning outcomes of sosial subject. The type of research is quantitative research. This research employed an experimental research of True experimental design. The research design in the Pretest-Posttest ControlDesign Group.Based on the pretest conducted in the experimental class, the average score of the student is 64.75 while score of the control 64,90. After the posttest was given to both classes, the average score obtained by the experimental class is 80,0 whilethe average scoreof the control 74.55. the hypthesis testing obtainet a tcountof 3.54 and ttableof 2.02 with α = 0.05, which means that tcount ttable. Therefore,it is concluded that Problem - Based Learning mode has a significant effect on the student’ Learning outcomes of sosial science subject in Grade V of Elementary school Number 13 Parit Putus, Ampek angkek Sub-district, Agam district. The purpose of this research was to describe the plan, the learning process and the improvement of the student, learning achievemntin Social Studies in the grade V of SDN 20 V Koto Kampung Dalam Padang Pariaman` The data of the research were the Lesson plan, the teacher and the student` activities, and the student` learning achievement. the result of the research indicated that from the first cycle to the second one, the score of the Lesson Plan Increased from 79% to 96%, the teacher`s aspect increased from 79% to 95%, the student`s aspect from 72% to 93%. keyword : Social Science learning achievement, Social Science learning process, Snowball Throwing

The purpose of this research was improve the students achievement in learning social science used coopeative group investigation of 5th grade elementary school. Types of this research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Subject of this research were students of 5th grade were 25 people consist of 10 men and 15 women. Research conducted in two cycles with research procedure includes of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result of research was improve a) Lesson plan the cycles of I was 76,78% and the cycles II of 92,86% b) Implementation teacher’s activity of I cycle was 79,69% and II cycle was 93,75% while implementation students activity of I cycle was 75% and II cycle was 93,75% c) the students learning outcomes in the I cycle was 76,18 and II cycle was 87,20. It can be concluded that used cooperative learning type GI can improve students achievement in learning social science of 5th grade at SDN 18 Air Tawar Padang.Keyword : Learning outcomes, Social science, GI

The purpose of this research was to improved the learning outcomes of student in Social Science Knowledge used PBL on 5th grade elementary school. Types of this research were 25 people consist of 12 men and 13 women. The implementation of this research was conducted in two cycles with research procedure that consist of planning, implementation, observation and reflectio. The results showed an increase in terms of (a) the RPP of cycle I with an average of 75% to 89,28% in cycle II, (b) Implementation teacher’s activity cycle I with an average 83,92% to 92,85% in cycle II, while for the implementationon the students cycle I with an average 80,35% to 92,85% in cycle II, (c) Students learning outcomes in cycle I with an average of 77 be 87,3 in cycle II. It can be concluded that used PBL model can improve students achievement in Social Science Knowledge of 5th grade elementary school at SDN 31 Jati Padang.Keyword : Learning outcomes, Social science, PBL

The researchis animed to improve the students’ learning outcomes in learning the Social Study Subject by using the Cooverative Learning, Think Pair Share Model at5th grade of SDN 23 Marapalam Padang.Types of this research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Subject of this research wereteachers (practitioners) and 31 students. This research is conducted to reveal the effects of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model on the students’ learning achievement in Social Science. This quasi-experimental research was conducted by applying The Non-equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of the research was 56 students in the 4thgrade of SDN 10 Bandar Buat. The samples were chosen by using Saturation Sampling Technique. The instrument of the research is an objective test. The data obtained were analyzed by using inferential statistic technique. The results found that the average score of the post-test of the control group is 67.63 and the experimental group is 76.3. Key Terms: PBL model; Social Science; Learning Achievement
