Abstract

Efforts to strengthen collaboration between financial institutions and universities are a key step in empowering a sustainable economy. This service activity aims to increase cooperation between financial institutions and universities, with a focus on sustainable economic empowerment. The service method is carried out through holding international seminars in a hybrid manner, both face-to-face at the Library Building on the 4th floor of IAIN Kediri and via the Zoom platform. The results of this service include strengthening cooperation between the two entities, broadening students' insight into sustainable financial practices, and contributing to sustainable economic development on campus and in the surrounding community.

Abstract

The interest and reading culture of Indonesian society is still very low. The government has made various efforts to overcome this problem. One of the government's efforts is through community reading parks (TBM). Community Reading Parks (TBM) play an important role in efforts to increase literacy culture in society, especially in areas with limited access to formal education resources. This research report is entitled "The Role of Community Reading Parks (TBM) in Increasing Literacy Culture in the Titik Village Community, Semen District, Kediri Regency”. This research aims to examine the role of TBM in improving society's literacy culture. The research method used is a qualitative approach, where data is collected through observation and in-depth interviews. This research activity was carried out at TBM Titik Pena. The research results show that the existence of TBM has a significant positive impact in increasing interest in reading, providing access to a variety of reading materials, and facilitating various literacy activities involving people from various circles. Apart from that, TBM also acts as an informal learning center that supports the development of residents' knowledge and skills. Supporting factors and implementation of TBM activities are adequate facilities, various kinds of reading books from early childhood to adulthood, support from the community, as well as donations of books to complement reading from donors. The inhibiting factors for TBM activities are children's boredom and laziness, as well as the various activities of managers and volunteers. This research emphasizes the importance of TBM support and development to strengthen literacy culture in Indonesia.

Abstract

Habsy's arts training at SDIT Al-Qonita faced challenges in time management and the diversity of students' levels of understanding of the tempo of music and poetry. To overcome this, the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Program (P5) approach was implemented to integrate training into project-based learning that is oriented towards character development and Islamic values. This research aims to optimize time and resource management in Habsy training while preserving Islamic traditions. This research uses a service learning method that combines technical learning with service experience, where students not only learn to play musical instruments and recite Islamic poetry, but are also involved in technical preparation and weekly reflection. The research results show that resource optimization is the key in this training. In-house teachers and professional trainers work together to maximize students' potential, while training facilities, such as musical instruments and practice rooms, are utilized efficiently. Structured timings help overcome time management challenges, ensuring each training session is effective. This training not only improves students' technical skills but also strengthens character values ​​such as cooperation, responsibility and appreciation for Islamic art. The P5 arts performance is the pinnacle of the program's success and has a positive impact on students..

Abstract

AbstractIn the context of education in Indonesia, integrating religious values, especially Islam, in learning, one of which is Pancasila education learning, has an important role in the development of a complete human being from all sides, one of which is the development of positive character to form students who have responsibility, good morals, and respect cultural and social values. The reason for conducting this research is to describe the efforts made by educators in combining Islamic values in Pancasila learning especially in class V of SDN Pekayon 16 Pagi. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. The technique for collecting this data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study uses an interactive model according to Miles and Huberman consisting of collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and conclusions or verifying data. The results of the study showed that teachers at SDN Pekayon 16 Pagi had maximized the integration of Islamic values in learning, especially Pancasila Education, where the efforts made were to connect all the precepts of Pancasila with religious teachings, especially Islam, then linked to relevant experiences of students' daily lives and the use of various teaching methods such as contextual approaches, habituation to apply all Pancasila and Islamic values in life, and the use of lecture and group methods. The challenges faced, such as religious diversity, culture, and student understanding can be overcome.Keywords: Islamic values, Learning, Pancasila education

Abstract

A clean and competent government applies the general principles of good government. Neutrality is one of the general principles of good government that every state official must uphold. Neutrality of public officials means not taking sides or engaging in practical political interests, especially in elections. This study aims to analyze the problems related to public officials' neutrality in Indonesia and provide solutions to ensure that neutrality. This study uses qualitative methods with a normative approach. The data used are secondary in the form of legislation, official documents, literature, and relevant previous research results. The results showed that the main problems related to public officials' neutrality in Indonesia are public officials' low awareness and understanding about the importance of neutrality, weak supervision, sanctions against neutrality violations, and the pressure and intervention of certain interested parties. Solutions that can be provided to ensure the neutrality of public officials in Indonesia are to increase socialization and education about neutrality, strengthen monitoring and enforcement mechanisms against neutrality violations, and build a culture of integrity and professionalism among public officials. Vigorous law enforcement is the solution.

Abstract

This paper undertakes a survey of the case studies and literature review on cash waqf. The aim is to provide an understanding of the issues, challenges, and potential opportunities for developing cash waqf by SWOT-LISA analysis. Our survey reveals that three is a need to: (a) focus on new development program, including riil market sector, (b) establish the cash waqf statistical datasets, and (c) establish the robustness of the cash waqf finding.

Abstract

Optimalisasi kemampuan membaca pada siswa kelas III merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa melalui program pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Pendampingan ini tidak hanya berfokus pada pengembangan keterampilan teknis membaca, tetapi juga bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan minat dan motivasi siswa dalam kegiatan literasi. Mahasiswa dilibatkan dalam memberikan bimbingan intensif dengan pendekatan yang interaktif dan menyenangkan, sehingga siswa merasa lebih nyaman dan termotivasi untuk belajar.  Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Program pendampingan ini dilaksanakan selama satu bulan dengan melibatkan 30 siswa kelas III. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan membaca siswa, baik dalam hal kefasihan membaca maupun pemahaman terhadap teks. Selain itu, pendampingan oleh mahasiswa juga berdampak positif terhadap sikap siswa terhadap kegiatan membaca, yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya minat dan antusiasme mereka.  Kesimpulannya, pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa mampu mengoptimalkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas III. Program seperti ini dapat dijadikan sebagai model pembelajaran alternatif yang dapat diterapkan di berbagai sekolah dasar untuk meningkatkan kualitas literasi siswa secara keseluruhan

Abstract

Disagreement is a difference of opinion expressed differently based on the media used. Based on this phenomenon, it is interesting to define an expression of disagreement and the types of discourse that trigger it on Facebook, which tends to be accessible and not distant. Analyzing these two things is interesting and important as something new in pragmatic studies. This study aims to define the expression of disagreement and describe the types of messages that get a lot of disagreement responses in the ICJ Facebook group. The current research utilized a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data in this study are messages and comments that contain disagreement in the ICJ Facebook group. Data collection was carried out using documentation, observation, and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique utilizes semantic and pragmatic perspectives. The results showed that the expression of disagreement could be defined as a negative expression expressed verbally as a reaction when the speaker opposes or denies the opponent's proposition or vice versa in a communication context. Posts or messages that get a lot of disagreement responses have the following characteristics, 1) the topics discussed relate to the disclosure of social problems from a personal point of view, 2) aim to assess social phenomena or as social criticism, 3) type of expressive and persuasive discourse.

Abstract

PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Al Amin Kediri is a life insurance company that manages the risks of each participant who joins it. The company's superior product, At Ta'min Fadhillah, provides benefits for insurance participants so that it has many enthusiasts. The At Ta'min Fadhillah product provides coverage when the participant is destined to die and provides additional benefits, namely badal hajj/umrah. Participants who join this insurance product must go through an underwriting process. Underwriting is the process of selecting prospective participants before they are declared accepted or not as insurance participants. This research uses a qualitative approach with data sources obtained from primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data analysis process is carried out by data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the research explain that the implementation of risk management in the At Ta'min Fadhillah product is by providing an age limit when participants join, giving extra premiums to participants who have high risks and exceed the predetermined provisions, and revoke the policies of participants who are late in paying premiums to prevent fraud by unscrupulous individuals. The implementation of risk management in the product underwriting process of At Ta'min Fadhillah PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Al Amin is carried out by identifying participants by looking at age, risk analysis of participants, risk evaluation, risk treatment and risk monitoring.

Abstract

Election dispute management is a vital element in maintaining the integrity of the democratic process in Indonesia. Electoral conflicts can arise at various stages, from the nomination process, campaigning, voting, to the determination of election results. Therefore, it is very important to have an effective and fair mechanism to resolve such disputes. This study examines the mechanisms and institutions involved in the resolution of electoral disputes in Indonesia. Reviewing the development of regulations related to election disputes and efforts to improve the system that has been done, including the role of the Constitutional Court, the election supervisory board, and the General Election Commission. The author uses qualitative research methods by collecting data from various literature sourced from the internet. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of how to resolve electoral disputes, as well as to identify challenges and opportunities in the improvement of the electoral dispute resolution system. With a better understanding of existing mechanisms and regulations, it is expected to increase public confidence in the electoral process and strengthen democracy in Indonesia. This study evaluates various efforts that have been made to improve the electoral dispute resolution system, such as regulatory reform, capacity building of related institutions, and community participation in overseeing the electoral process. Thus, it is expected that the results of this study can contribute significantly to the development of the democratic system in Indonesia.
