Abstract

The purpose of this study is to inventory kinds of traditional pastries, make traditional pastries inventory, knowing recipes traditional pastries and to describe functions that are of traditional pastries.The research is a qualitative . Data collection techniques Snow-Ball Sampling by observation, interview and documentation. Analysis of field data reduction, display, conclusion and verification. The results showed that 1) The type of traditional pastries of 2 types: patries and cakes moist 2) Inventory recipe recipe produces 44 traditional pastries in Padang 3) Recipe traditional patries, namely : there are 14 types of cake recipes tradisional dry and there are 30 kinds of cake recipes traditional wet 3)Function of pastries traditional in the city of Padang is as a snack, cake everyday, my custom, cake which was served on the day Eid and cakes made as a typical city of Padang.Keywords : Inventory, pastries tradisional, recipe, Padang city

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the factors that influence the consumption of instant noodles to students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. Pulasi in this study is a student of Family Welfare Education, Faculty Of Tourism And Hospitality, State University of Padang class of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, amounting to 160 people and a sample of 62 people. Data was collected using a questionnaire with multiple choice and Likert scale. Furthermore, the data were analyzed through descriptive analysis. The study concluded that the most influential factor in the consumption of instant noodles to students is the influence of peers. The factors that most influence on the low consumption of instant noodles is the attitude. Student knowledge about instant noodles quite good. The availability of instant noodles among students quite a lot and easily obtained. Intensity viewed media about instant noodles among students is quite frequent and relatively low student allowance.Keywords: Factors, consumption, instant noodles, student.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the desire for entrepreneurship education student Catering is high, but in fact are not able to work as an entrepreneur. The purpose of this study was to describe the potential of entrepreneurship education student Catering Department of Family Welfare. This research is descriptive quantitative. The population in the study were all students of Education Catering Padang State University 2010-2012 forces numbering 83 people, and all of them sampled. The data collection technique for potential entrepreneurship using a questionnaire prepared by the "Likert Scale". Furthermore, the data were analyzed with the aid of a computer program SPSS version 18.00. The results showed that the overall potential of entrepreneurship students included into either category (76%). Descriptive analysis of data potential of entrepreneurship students perindikator note that the indicators of personality interpretation either by 77.75%, self-discipline interprestasi enough of 73.75%, the creativity of interpretation either by 75.25%, the urge / desire interpretation of either 77%, the courage to face the risk of interpretation fairly 71.75%, confidence interpretation of either 78%.Keywords: Potential, Entrepreneurship, Student Education Catering

Abstract

The purpose research to describe about customary food of the Prophet’s birthday at Padang Sago of Padang Pariaman. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative method, at Padang Sago. Research object is the stages of the event is customary food of Prophet’s birthday. Data collection technique: observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques include: data reduction,data display,conclusion and verification. The result showed (1)Stage of Prophet’s birthday of manyonsong, manduobaleh, and mahanta. (2)Customary types of food being served is confectionary and staple food. (3)The equipment used is dulang kanso,rumah kue, jamba nasi/senggan, rumah samba,rantang, plate, rice bowl, oval plate, food cover, kain rendo dan kain dalamak. (4)How the presentation using dulang kanso, rumah kue for confectionary, rice with jamba nasi/senggan, and side dishes with rumah samba. Ordinances meal is sitting on the floor eating food around the appropriate manners. Abstract

The objective this research is to determine the relationship of the diciplinein the practical with the result of studen learning in subjects IndonesianFoodProcessing 1 at SMK N 3 Solok which covers aspects of diciline inpreparation of pratical, implemation pratical and result of the pratical. Thisresearch is correlation. The population in this study were all students of class XIculinary art SMK Negeri 3 Solok. The data analysis technique used is thecorrelation with product moment correlation formula. Based on the result of thedata analysis of the obtained result of research, learning diciline in praticaliscategories as good aspect and the result of the student learning are complete. Therelationship between the variable in the learning dicipline practies (X) with thelearning result tht Indonesian food processing 1 (Y) has a significant relationshipwith thitung > ttabel (3,721 > 2,048)Keyword: relationship of discipline in practical learning with the result study

Abstract

The objective of study was toanalyzethe relationbetweenchild feeding practiceandchildnutritional status inPosyanduPala Indah VParak Laweh. Researchiscorrelationalbypopulationisall children areincluded inthe workingareaPosyanduPala Indah V Parak Laweh. Sampleswereselected bysamplingsaturatedby 49people. The results of the research show that feeding practice as much as 8 % of children included is excellent category, 10% of children included good category, 27% of children included quite well, 22% of children included unfavorable category and 33 % of children included category of not good. The results of the study showed that the nutritional status of children are 2 children (4%) included excellent category, 4 children (8% ) included goodcategory, 6 children (1%) included good category, 13 children (27% ) included unfavorable category and 24 children (49%) included category of no good. There isa positiverelationshipbetweenfeeding practicewith thenutritional status of childreninPosyanduPala Indah V Parak Lawehwith correlation coefficient0.722. Abstract

This research was motivated by a problem in the cafeteria in the State University of Padang who have not noticed aspects of hygiene and sanitation. The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of hygiene and environmental sanitation in the cafeteria seen Padang State University of indicator buildings, sanitary facilities, and personal hygiene. This research is descriptive quantitative. The sampling technique was purposive sampling conducted as many as 38 employees from 8 cafeteria. The instrument used in this study a questionnaire (questionnaire) Likert scale. Data analysis technique is the technique used to determine the level of attainment percentage of respondents from each of the indicators studied. Based on the results obtained from the data that the hygiene and sanitation of existing canteen building in the State University of Padang is in the category of less well with the percentage achieved by 56 %, the indicator sanitation facilities are in the unfavorable category with a score of 55 %, and also be an indicator of personal hygiene the unfavorable category with the percentage achieved by 68 % of respondents. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and practicalities of multimedia. This type of research or development Research and Development using three stages of four stages of the development model of the 4-D Models. Subjects of this study consisted of 5 people validator, and to test the practicalities conducted by two teachers and 30 students of class XII SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire and analyzed by descriptive analysis using a percentage formula that includes analysis of the validity and practicalities. The results showed that for design validation obtained a value of 0.86 and a validation of the material / content obtained a value of 0.82 with a valid category. As for the practicalities of test values obtained with an average score of 91.56% in a very practical categories of teachers and of students obtained an average score of 86.03% with a very practical category. Based on the above it can be concluded that interactive multimedia is valid and very practical for use as a media on subjects Fussion Food.Keywords: Development, Interactive Multimedia, Fussion Food

Abstract

This research was purpose to, 1) Describe the students motivation of Nutrition subject in class X catering services SMKN 9 Padang, 2) Describe the results of the student learned of Nutrition subject in class X catering service SMKN 9 Padang, 3) Reveal the relation between motivation with the results of student learning on Nutrition Subject class X Catering services SMKN 9 Padang. The genre of the research was is correlation quantitative. This research was conducted in SMK Negeri 9 Padang in May 2015. The population of the research is all of the students of class X catering service SMKN 9 Padang. The sample of this research is about 30 person by using random sampling techniques. The results of this research showing that the learning motivation has a high number and standing on pass enough category. The relation between motivations with the result of learning of nutrient science students has positive relation and significant with the value rhitung > rtabel (0,400 > 0,361) with interpretation correlation coefficient was average.Keyword : Motivation, Student Learning, Nutrition

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the nutritional knowledge, nutritional adequacy and analyzing their relationship with the knowledge of nutritional adequacy. This study is correlational with a population of 182 people and a sample of 28 people who is taken amid proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques for knowledge of nutrition using a questionnaire enclosed in the form of multiple choice, while for nutritional adequacy using open questionnaire form of food recall. The results showed that the nutrition knowledge of students included into the category is as high as (25%) and (17.8%) students have the knowledge of the high category. In the variable nutritional adequacy indicates that the highest energy intake of students (3999.4kcal) and the lowest intake of (421.2kcal). Correlation test results showed that the correlation is positive and significant correlation between knowledge with nutritional adequacy with thitung 6,961 students at the significance level of 0.000. Contributions knowledge of nutrition on the nutritional adequacy of students amounted to 24.1%Keyword: Nutrition Knowledge, Nutritional Adequacy
