Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate the component of context, input, process, and product on Entrepreneurship Program at Universitas Negeri Padang. This research was an evaluate study with CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The method was used a mixed method with quantitative and qualitative approach by sequential explanatory. This research was characterized by collected and analyzed quantitative data at first stage and qualitative data at second stage to reinforce the result of quantitative approach. The result of this research showed that the component of the context, input, process, and product on Entrepreneurship Program at Universitas Negeri Padang was at less satisfactory category. The component of input, process and product should be improved to make The Entrepreneurship Program to be more optimal. The recommended is The Entrepreneurship Program can proceed with the improvement at each of its components.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that there are still graduates of Vocational High School No. 9 Padang who are unemployed after graduating. This study aims to analyze the competencies of culinary graduation at Vocational High School No. 9 Padang. This research is a quantitative study using the need assessment instrument with the dual-response survey technique. The results of the discrepancy analysis show that there is no high gap between the competencies of Vocational High School No. 9 Padang graduates and the competencies expected by the industry. The results of the direction analysis show that all the gap categories are in a low category, so it can be concluded that there is no high gap between the competencies of graduates of Vocational High School No. 9 Padang and the competencies expected by the industry. Based on the results of the priority analysis, it is known that there are differences in priority indicators in the three industries. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the graduates of culinary in Vocational High School No. 9 Padang have good competence based on an industry perspective.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi awal, hasil belajar dan kreatifitas mahasiswa Jurusan IKK yang mengambil mata Kuliah Menghias Kue masih rendah, diperkirakan rendahnya hasil belajar ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan sumber belajar atau media pembelajaran yang ada, masih terdapatnya kekurangan pada media pembelajaran yang ada. Oleh karena itu, dirancang dan dibuatlah sebuah media pembelajaran berupa modul pembelajaran untuk mata Kuliah Menghias Kue. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan modul pembelajaran agar layak digunakan di lapangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Four-D (4D). Prosedur pengembangan Four-D (4D) yaitu Define (pembatasan), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan), dan Disseminate (penyebaran). Jenis data yaitu data primer dimana data yang diberikan oleh ahli, dosen, dan mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif yaitu dengan mendeskripsikan kevalidan dan kepraktisan modul pembelajaran . Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah sebuah modul pembelajaran Menghias Kue yang valid dan praktis bagi mahasiswa Jurusan IKK FPP UNP.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of personal hygiene for street food traders in Padang Primary Schools can be seen from cleanliness; head, hair, face, nose, ears, mouth, teeth, hands, fingers, skin, and work clothes. This research was conducted in October 2019 at State Elementary School the in Padang. The type of research in this paper is a review using descriptive methods. This research was conducted by distributing questioner. The results of this study indicate that (1) Snack traders in State Elementary School 22 still do not pay attention to the cleanliness of the head and hair. (2) Face and nose hygiene of hawker merchants at 22 Andalas Padang Elementary School, Padang City is still not hygienic (3) Ear cleaning of street hawker vendors at 22 Andalas City Padang, still dirty (4) Oral and dental hygiene of hawker traders in Public Elementary Schools the 22 City of Padang is still dirty (5) Hand and Finger Cleanliness of snacks traders in State Elementary Schools the 22 City of Padang is still dirty (6) Skin hygiene of street vendors in State Elementary Schools the 22 City of Padang is still dirty (7) Cleanliness of work clothes of traders snacks in State Elementary School 22 Andalas Padang City is still lacking.

Abstract

Training Entrepreneurship is one of the efforts to streamline the purpose of supporting entrepreneurship education in universities. This study aims to develop and produce a model of entrepreneurship training of "Smart Entrepreneur Model" (SEM) developed by using Four D's approach. The design development of the SEM Model Training Model was using ADDIE Instructional Design. Results of the research on the stages of needs analysis showed that students have a very high requirement for learning entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial planning, and business management, as well as a high need for a training online business based. Rationalization development carried out was a matter of lack of funded proposals by Ditjen which were only 21.42% of the submitted proposals which met the criteria set forth. Then, from 81 funded business proposals, it was only 30.86% that run caused by weak of business management committed by participants of Students Entrepreneurial Program (PMW). In the development of SEM Training Model, the design is Needs Analysis stage and skills gap analysis. Stages of the design were based on objectives, performance, goals of activities, methods, place and time, content, and syntax. Developed Syntax of SEM consisted of 8 steps of training activities where Syntac of SEM training Model consisted of the 8-step training process. They are Preparation Participants Training, Psychometric Test, Identification Results of Psychometric Tests, Analysis of Business, Management Mentoring, Mentoring Online Business, Business progress report, Evaluation of training implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a tool for learning entrepreneurship pedagogy with a product-based learning approach in vocational education. The research model used is the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluations (ADDIE) development model, but is limited to the Design (Development) and Development (validity) stages. Data types are primary data where the data provided by expert lecturers. Data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires and data analysis with descriptive. The results obtainedfrom the study are (1) the design of entrepreneurship pedagogy learning tools with a valid product-based learning approach; (2) The entrepreneurship pedagogy learning tools with the resulting product-based learning approach is formulated in the form of syntax or learning stages for each meeting consisting of: Syntax 1. Formulation of learning outcomes, Syntax 2. Understanding of the concept of lecture material, Syntax 3. Summative evaluation, Syntax 4. Design of project assignments, Syntax 5. Design designs and business products, Syntax6. Product marketing, Syntax 7. Evaluation of project assignment processes and reporting, Syntax 8. Summative evaluation. Based on the findings of this study concluded that the design of entrepreneurship pedagogy learning tools with a product-based learning approach can be used as a learning tool in entrepreneurship courses after carrying out the stages of Implementation and Evaluations so that it is expected to produce entrepreneurship learning pedagogy with a valid, practical and effective product-based learning approach. Abstract

This paper aims to explore and explain the application entrepreneurship module based products in higher vocational education. Methods of the development of this research using stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation (ADDI). Subjects were students who are taking entrepreneurship courses in higher vocational education. The technique of data analysis was the learning outcomes of the application of product based entrepreneurship module which consisted of, (1) the results of the cognitive aspects of learning achievement test used in the form of multiple-choice tests; (2) the study results in the affective aspects obtained from the measurement results against predefined criteria, with special sections that assess students' attitude during the process and attitude of learning, particularly in the work of making a product; (3) the results of study on psychomotor aspect views from the observation of activities and work activities done by the students. Based on cognitive aspects of learning outcomes for entrepreneurial learning showed that test before using the product based entrepreneurship modules have an average of learning outcomes is quite effective and after using the product based entrepreneurship modules have an average is the effective category. The average results of student learning in psychomotor and affective aspects before using the module are quite effective and after using the product based entrepreneurship module psychomotor and affective aspects have an average result of learning is very effective. It can be concluded that learning with product based entrepreneurship module can improve student learning outcomes in higher vocational education.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the factual basis regarding the implementation of Students Industrial Training (SIT) course by the bachelor’s degree students of Hospitality Management Department from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality at the University. The methodology used in this study is mixed method with CSE-UCLA evaluation model. The informants in this study were 35 hospitality management students who were graduated in 2015, the SIT Coordinators, Heads of Tourism Departments, and Supervisors, Managers, Industrial Supervisors, senior staffs, and assistance from the Hotel Food and Beverage department. Data of this research were gathered through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Those data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics technique. The results showed the average score of the need assessment evaluation component was 4.2 (good), program planning was 4.14 (good), formative evaluation was 4.04 (good), and summative evaluation was 3.98 (enough). This Students Industrial Training Program can be continued by improving the students’ knowledge, working skills, and English skills, as well as improving the role of supervisors and instructors/ industrial supervisors in monitoring and providing solutions for the students to overcome problems they faced. Furthermore, this training program needed to improve the quality and quantity of relevant campus facilities and infrastructure to the hospitality industry, and increasing the positive attitude of the students in carrying out the industrial training course.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melestarian budaya khususnya budaya berbusana, denganmenggali lebih dalam tentang busana etnis Aceh, dan menjadikannya sebagai sumber ide untukmenciptakan desain busana pesta bernuansa etnis Aceh. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakanadalah kualitatif dengan menekankan pada metode etnografi. Hasil penelitian ini menyebutkanbahwa busana etnis Aceh dibagi menjadi lima wilayah budaya, yaitu Aceh pesisir, Acehpedalaman, Aceh pegunungan, Aneuk Jame, dan Tamiang. Dari kelima jenis busana etnis Acehyang ada saat ini terdapat beberapa perbedaan, yaitu pada jenis bahan, warna bahan, bentuk ragamhias (motif), warna ragam hias, teknik aplikasi ragam hias dan model busana. Setiap busana etnismemiliki khas yang membedakan antara busana etnis satu dan lainnya, yang dikatakan sebagaisuatu identitas Aceh.Kata kunci: desain busana, pesta, etnis AcehPARTY FASHION DESIGN IN ACEH ETHNIC NUANCESAbstractThis research was conducted as a cultural preservation effort, especially in the culture ofdress, by digging deeper about the ethnic fashion of Acehnese that exists today, then making ita source of ideas to create a fashion design for Acehnese ethnic parties. The research approachused is qualitative, with ethnographic methods. The Acehnese ethnic fashion currently has fivetypes based on the regions, namely Aceh Coastal, Aceh Inland, Aceh Mountains, Aneuk Jame,and Tamiang. Of the five types of Acehnese ethnic fashion that exist today there are severaldifferences, namely in the type of material, colour, shape of decorative (motif), decorative colour,ornamental applications techniques and models of clothing. Abstract

The importance of modules in learning as enhancing student learning outcomes. Thus, it is necessary to conduct a needs analysis for the development of inquiry-based modules in improving student learning outcomes.Thus, through this module students are taught to study independently and think critically. This study aims to conduct a needs analysis of the implementation of inquiry-based learning modules in basic subjects of electricity and electronics. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The respondents chosen in this study were subject teachers and tenth grade  students of Audio Video Engineering in Vocational Schools in Padang, which were 70 students and randomly selected. The instrument used in this study was an observation sheet in the form of a questionnaire (yes-no Question). The results of the study shows that students need inquiry-based modules more than books or other independent teaching materials in which 100% of students answered needing independent teaching materials and 80% of students answered needing modules.
