Abstract

This research is experimental research in the research design is pretest-posttest control group design to find out the influence of open-ended approach on creative-mathematic thinking skill of student's grade V SD.  The population of this research is all student's grade V of SD considering middle-group category based on the average score on a mathematics national exam at SD/MI level in the entire Rancakalong region. Meanwhile, the samples of this research are SDN Pasirbenteng II as experimental group and SDN Pasirbiru as a control group. The instruments in this research consist of test, affective scale, observation format of teachers’ performance, observation format of students’ activities and interview. The result from this research proves that learning using the open-ended approach can significantly increase a creative mathematic thinking of student's grade V SD. It can be seen from the findings of data analysis. Based on the research, students’ response to mathematics learning using open-ended tends to show a positive response that means students have good tendency of interest and enthusiasm to the learning. Thus, it can be concluded that open-ended is one of the solutions to increase creative - mathematic thinking skill of student's grade V SD. Abstract

This study aims to determine the chemical literacy of primary school teachers and students on the theme PGSD air. The method used is descriptive method, the research subjects totaling 61 people, 41 people came from PGSD students and 20 people from elementary school teachers. The instrument used is a matter of chemistry literacy tests are 40 multiple -choice questions that include reason or other information to strengthen the answers given, questionnaires, and interviews. Data processing techniques performed included determination of the limits of chemical literacy achievement, scoring each question,changing the score values, grouping study subjects based on the values obtained, and the analysis and conclusions. From the research data showed that only 26 people (63.41 %) students who have achieved literacy PGSD chemistry, whereas only 10 elementary school teachers (50 %) who had reached chemical literacy. Literacy chemical that has not reached most of the research subject primarily determine the chemical formula of constituent gases of air and to write the equation.Keywords: PGSD students, elementary science teachers, science literacy, literacy chemistry, descriptive method.

Abstract

The development of teh times requires human to be smart anda figure carefully in choosing the information increasingly easy to obtained. At the school is expected to bring up the learning process thet produces a pattern og thingking scientifically and rationally. Therefore, this research aims to know the influence of problem-based learning, literacy abilities against science students on the material resources of nature. Methods and subjects in this research method of experimental and pre-grade III SDN Karapyak 1. Results show that: (1) probelm-based learning can improve science literacy on the material recources of significant ways, (2) problem-based learning material on natural resources can improve science literacy on group of high, medium, low. (3) there is a difference of science literacy ability enhancement by using problem-based learning in students of higher group, medium, and low, (4) students with learning respong positively using model problem based learning.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is a person's ability to understand science. Scientific literacy is important in relation to daily life because by having scientific literacy, someone can consider all its decisions based on the understanding of science that he has. Scientific literacy in Indonesia is still very low. But scientific literacy  can be enhanced, one of which is through contextual teaching and learning activities conducted in elementary schools. This is evidenced by the results of research with pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design which shows that contextual learning can increase scienctific literacy in all groups of students whether students in the category high, medium, and low when done properly. There is difference enhance in scientific literacy between students in the category high, medium, and low on aspects of context, content and competence of scientific literacy. But there is no difference in aspects of science attitudes. This increasement difference is supported by different student observation results. The results of high-class student observations are the best of the three and the improvement is so. Nevertheless, the ability of scientific literacy all three can be increased significantly. Thus, contextual teaching and learning has been successful in enhancing student’s scientific literacy.

Abstract

In the study to see the influence of contextual approaches to students' science process skills. The method used is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students of 4thgrader SDN in kecamatan Cimanggung namely SDN Bunter 1, SDN Bunter 3, SDN Tanjungsiang. The instruments used are science skill test, observation sheet, questionnaire and interview. The result of research with significance level α = 0,05 shows: First, science learning using contextual approach can improve students' science process skill in superior group Second, science learning using a contextual approach can improve students' science process skills in the group Third, science teaching using contextual approach can improve students' science process skill in asor groupFourth, there is a difference in the improvement of students' science process skills in superior groups, papak, asor.

Abstract

Research is called  problem based learning to improve the ability to critial thinking studentsgrade 5 to the matter of natural events. The study is done at high students group, and, and low, in order to see how increased capacity critical thinking students. Method in this research that is uses the method pre-eksperimen with the design pre-eksperimen group one-group pretest-posttest. Population to research it is a whole primary school sub district pabuaran who ranks school including the sand from SDN 1 Pabuaranlor. An instrument used is about tests the ability of critical thinking, sheets of observation, and chief. The results of the study with of significance in ᵅ = 0.05 show that there is an increase in the capacity to think critical students on high group, and, and low. Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan awal di SDN Gudangkopi I pada umumnya siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menguasai materi perubahan wujud benda. Penguasaan konsep, kegiatan pembuktian dan aplikasi yang menjadi keharusan dalam belajar IPA tidak nampak dalam pembelajaran. Kondisi ini diakibatkan dari proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru belum maksimal sehingga berdampak kurang baik pada hasil belajar siswa. Secara spesifik PTK ini betujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model discovery learning. Dalam pelaksanaannya PTK terdiri dari tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, analisis dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dan pembahasan, dapat direkomendasikan bahwa dengan menerapkan model discovery learning merupakan suatu alternatif untuk meningkatan hasil belajar siswa, khususnya pada materi perubahan wujud benda. Peningkatan ini dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan tiap siklus. Siswa yang dinyatakan tuntas pada siklus I berdasarkan hasil tes ada 7 siswa (26,92%), siklus II menjadi 17 siswa (65,38%) dan siklus III 23 siswa (88,46%).Kata kunci : discovery learning, hasil belajar, perubahan wujud bendabuatan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA pada materi peristiwa alam dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pembelajaran konvensional. Metode yang digunakan metode eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampelnya kelas V SDN Karangpawulang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN Cilimbangan sebagai kelas kontrol. dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar, format observasi kinerja guru, format observasi aktivitas peserta didik, dan  format wawancara peserta didik kelas eksperimen. Uji beda rata-rata menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pembelajaran secara konvensional memperoleh P-value (Sig.2-tailed) senilai 0,000 dengan taraf signifikasi α=0.05.  Disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pembelajaran konvensional dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik pada materi peristiwa alam. Pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan uji rata-rata perhitungan n-gain kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh nilai 0,70 dan rata-rata perhitungan n-gain kelas kontol yang memperoleh nilai 0,60. Abstract

Multimedia pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang mendukung pembelajaran Abad 21 serta sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 masih kurang tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis WhatsApp terhadap kreativitas peserta didik pada materi pelestarian tanaman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni Design Based Research (DBR). Instrumen yang digunakan yakni multimedia pembelajaran berbasis WhatsApp, lembar validasi, dan angket. Multimedia diuji cobakan kepada peserta didik kelas IV SDN Panyingkiran III yang terletak di Kecamatan Sumedang Utara, Sumedang, Jawa Barat. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh data bahwa 86,7% peserta didik “sangat kreatif” dan 13,3% peserta didik “kreatif”, respon peserta didik 95% positif, serta hasil validasi judgement “sangat valid” (validasi materi 86% dan validasi desain 82,69%). Hasil akhir dari penelitian adalah multimedia yang telah di validasi dan dapat digunakan oleh pendidik sebagai media pembelajaran materi pelestarian tanaman.

Abstract

IPA merupakan salahsatu proses dalam pembentukan tingkah laku guna mengarahkan siswa agar berkompeten dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan secara proses ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, siswa harus memiliki keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Namun, keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa masih tergolong rendah, sehingga digunakanlah pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Desain penelitian adalah kuasi eksperimen menggunakan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD se-Kecamatan Kramatmulya. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan SDN II Ragawacana sebagai kelas eksperimen serta SDN Pajambon sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes berupa tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif serta non tes berupa observasi kinerja guru, observasi aktivitas siswa, catatan lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa secara signifikan, dengan nilai rata-rata gain sebesar 0,329. Sementara pada pembelajaran konvensional, nilai rata-rata gain sebesar 0,150. Sehingga, pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa.
