Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of digital practicum modules on the creative thinking abilities of primary teacher education students in science learning in Elementary Schools. This study used a quantitative research type with an experimental method in the form of a quasi-experimental design. The quasi-experimental design applied was a nonequivalent control group design. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The sample in this study were primary teacher education students who took science learning courses in Elementary Schools, where sampling was carried out by purposive sampling so that classes H and I PGSD 2023 were obtained as experimental and control classes. The instruments used in this study were interview sheets, implementation observation sheets, essay tests and documentation sheets. The data analysis technique used was a statistical test in the form of an Independent Sample T-Test using SPSS 30. The results of this study indicate that the creative thinking abilities using digital practicum modules are higher than the creative thinking abilities of students without using digital practicum modules. The Independent Sample T-Test test showed Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, i.e., 0.001 <0.05, meaning Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence on students' creative thinking skills by using digital practicum modules in science learning in elementary schools.  Keyword: Digital Practicum Module, Science Learning, Creative Thinking Skills  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan modul praktikum digital terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa PGSD dalam pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen bentuk quasi experimental design. Desain quasi eksperimen yang diterapkan yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan berupa wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD yang mengambil mata kuliah pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar, dimana pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas H dan I PGSD 2023 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar wawancara, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, tes essay dan lembar dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa uji statistik berupa uji Independent Sample T-Test dengan menggunakan SPSS 30. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif menggunakan modul praktikum digital lebih tinggi dibandingkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa tanpa menggunakan modul praktikum digital. Pada uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan Sig. (2-tailed) <0,05 yaitu 0,001 < 0,05 artinya Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada keterampilan berfikir kreatif mahasiswa dengan menggunakan modul praktikum digital pada pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar.  Kata Kunci: Modul Praktikum Digital, Pembelajaran IPA, Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif

Abstract

This study focuses on developing interactive PPT-based learning media using Canva for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects, specifically the Human Body System material for fifth-grade elementary school students. In addition to producing media, this study also aims to assess the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the media in improving learning outcomes. The development process follows the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, resulting in a more systematic workflow. The assessment results from experts show that the developed media falls into the “highly feasible” category, with a score of 91.25% from subject matter experts and 90.8% from media experts. A small-scale field test also yielded positive responses, with teachers giving a rating of 94% and students 92.4%. These findings indicate that the media has a high level of practicality and is easy to use in learning. The effectiveness of the media is evident from the significant improvement in learning outcomes. The average pretest score of 52.1 increased to 86.4 on the posttest, with an N-gain score of 0.71, which is in the high category. The paired t-test results showed a significant difference between the scores before and after using the media, while the effect size of 3.6 indicated a very strong influence on student understanding. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran klasifikasi alat musik tradisional Sumatera Utara dan menguji kelayakan media berdasarkan aspek validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 173352 Sosor Lontung menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil analisis validasi menunjukkan media video memperoleh skor validasi ahli media sebesar 93,18% dan ahli materi 94,44%  yang ada pada kategori sangat baik, Hasil analisis praktikalitas menunjukkan media video memperoleh skor kepraktisan dari hasil analisis observasi dan wawancara dengan guru sebesar 92,30% yang ada pada kategori sangat baik dan Hasil analisis efektivitas melalui peningkatan nilai pretest 52,12% menjadi posttest 81,44% yang ada pada kategori sangat baik. Video ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran seni musik berbasis budaya lokal.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of digital books based on local wisdom in Pancasila Education learning for grade V students of Elementary School 105374 Bingkat. The method used in this study is the research and development (R&D) method. The type of research used is the ADDIE design which has five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The subjects in this study were grade V students of Elementary School 105374 Bingkat totaling 19 students. The results of the assessment by the validator expert on the digital book product based on local wisdom are as follows: the material expert gave an average assessment of 4 with a validity percentage of 80% with improvements. Then after being revised, the digital book based on local wisdom got an average score of 4.6 with a percentage of 92%. Media experts gave an average rating of 4.6 with a percentage of 93.3% without revision. Furthermore, practitioners, namely grade V teachers of SD Negeri 105374 Bingkat, gave an average score of 4.9 with a percentage of 98%. The effectiveness results obtained were by measuring the comparison of pretest and posttest results. The average pretest score of students before using digital books based on local wisdom was 62.95 and the average posttest score was 90.3. So from these results, it can be concluded that digital books based on local wisdom in Pancasila Education learning for Grade V Students of SD Negeri 105374 Bingkat are effective.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a concrete learning media called MagBox (Magnet Learning Box) that is valid, practical, and effective in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the topic of magnetic properties in fourth grade elementary school. The background of this research is based on the low student learning outcomes and the limited use of engaging and interactive concrete media in IPAS learning. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SDN 060826 Medan Area in the academic year 2024/2025. Research instruments included expert validation sheets, teacher observations, interviews, and learning achievement tests (pretest and posttest). The validation results by material experts, media experts, and educational practitioners indicated that MagBox is highly feasible with an average percentage above 90%. The practicality of the media was shown by the ease of use for teachers and positive responses from students. The effectiveness of the media was proven by an increase in student learning outcomes, where the average pretest score of 56 improved to 89.4 in the posttest with an N-Gain score of 0.80, which falls into the high category. Therefore, MagBox is declared suitable for use as a learning medium in IPAS, particularly for the topic of magnetic properties. This media not only helps students understand concepts more concretely but also enhances their active participation and learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of QR Code-assisted diorama media on the learning outcomes of social studies of grade V students of SDN 060932 Medan Amplas. This study uses a quantitative approach with Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design in the even semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The research sample amounted to 52 students consisting of 26 students in class V-A as the experimental class and 26 students in class V-B as the control class. The data collection technique uses validation questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and documentation. Data analysis uses analytical prerequisite tests which include normality tests and homogeneity tests, as well as hypothesis tests. The results showed that the pretest and posttest data in the experimental class and the control class were normally distributed based on the Shapiro-Wilk test with a significance value of > 0.05 and had a homogeneous variance based on the Levene test with a significance value of 0.107 (> 0.05). The average posttest score of the experimental class was 84.04 higher than that of the control class of 62.88. The results of the t-test (Independent Sample T-Test) obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (< 0.05), so that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Thus, the use of QR Code-assisted diorama media has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of IPAS students in grade V of SDN 060932 Medan Amplas. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that teachers use QR Code-assisted diorama media as an alternative to innovative learning media.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran kreatif di SD Muhammadiyah 17 Medan dengan focus pada metode, tantangan, dan dampaknya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, Angket dan wawancara dengan guru. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran kreatif dilaksanakan dengan baik melalui berbagai metode seperti mini projek, kolaborasi, diskusi dan penggunaan media digital. Tantangan terbesarnya adalah terbatasnya waktu dan sumber daya. Namun, para guru telah berhasil mengatasi tantangan ini dengan memasukkan pembelajaran kreatif ke dalam kurikulum wajib dan memanfaatkan teknologi digital. Penerapan pembelajaran kreatif mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, meningkatkan kreativitas, dan mengembangkan kepribadian siswa.

Abstract

Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning on the topic of changes in the states of matter in elementary schools requires teaching materials that can help students understand concepts clearly and in an engaging way. However, based on the results of observations at SD Swasta Pelangi Medan, the teaching materials used are still limited to textbooks and Student Worksheets (LKPD), so the presentation of the material is less interesting and is not supported by varied learning media. In addition, limited facilities such as the unavailability of projectors cause the use of technology-based teaching materials to not be implemented optimally. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Canva-based Science Mini Book teaching materials on the topic of changes in the states of matter in grade IV of SD Swasta Pelangi Medan. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were 20 fourth-grade students of SD Swasta Pelangi Medan. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The results showed that the Science Mini Book teaching material obtained a validation percentage of 86% from media experts, 90% from material experts, 96% from education practitioners, and a student response percentage of 97.4%, with an overall average of 92.35% which is categorized as very feasible. Therefore, the Canva-based Science Mini Book teaching material is declared valid, practical, and effective so that it is feasible to be used in IPAS learning on the topic of changes in the states of matter in grade IV of elementary school.
