Abstract

Leadership management in educational units plays a crucial role in enhancing educational quality, particularly within Islamic education contexts where leaders must integrate spiritual values with professional development. School principals are required to motivate and guide educators to maximize their potential by actualizing the teaching-learning process through Islamic principles of amanah (trustworthiness), tawhid (unity), and qiwamah (stewardship). One effective approach educators can utilize to enhance learning quality is conducting classroom action research (CAR). However, the implementation of leadership in Islamic educational settings requires a contextually-sensitive approach that aligns with both Islamic values and modern pedagogical principles. School principals face difficulties maximizing educators' professional abilities if the management approach implemented does not align with the school environment and Islamic educational philosophy. This research aims to discover the leadership management approaches of school principals in increasing teacher quality through classroom action research within an Islamic education framework. Researchers employed a qualitative research paradigm with a case study approach. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. The sample consisted of 10 Islamic teachers selected through purposive sampling, including the school principal, supervisors, and Islamic teachers. Data analysis utilized three steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicated: (1) The school principal's leadership management is applied proportionally through an Islamic values-based collaborative model that integrates spiritual leadership with pedagogical supervision; (2) The school principal believes that classroom action research serves as a transformative approach aligned with Islamic principles of continuous improvement (istiqamah) and knowledge pursuit (thalab al-'ilm); (3) The TAGI (Take and Give) model, rooted in Islamic reciprocity principles, is applied to realize and maximize educator professionalism, thereby enabling the achievement of learning objectives and superior accreditation for the educational unit.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Exotic Clinic Karawang's marketing strategy in increasing consumer appeal for its contouring, slimming, and anti-aging programs. The clinic faces challenges in maintaining a consistent number of patients amid fierce competition in the aesthetic industry. The study uses a qualitative case study approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The research focuses on the implementation of the marketing mix (7P): product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. The results show that Exotic Clinic has made various efforts, such as providing quality services, adjusting prices, improving location accessibility, and utilizing digital media for promotion. However, there are obstacles such as suboptimal communication strategies, limited human resources in implementing digital promotion, and consumer perceptions that are not yet fully formed regarding service excellence. Supporting factors for success include the clinic's reputation, the competence of medical personnel, and adequate physical facilities. This study provides practical contributions for Exotic Clinic to strengthen more targeted marketing strategies, as well as theoretical contributions to the study of healthcare service marketing. Recommendations include enhancing digital promotional activities, improving patient experience, and conducting ongoing evaluations of implemented marketing strategies to increase consumer loyalty and interest in repeat visits.

Abstract

A hospital is one of the health service facilities that provides individual health services in a complete manner. Hospital services include inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. In reality, often hospital services to their patients are often still of poor quality in various dimensions, be it tangible, reliability, emphaty, safety and responsiveness. So this causes dissatisfaction for patients, because there is a gap between expectations and reality obtained. In the health sector, patients can provide value based on the satisfaction of the services they receive so that it can be an evaluation for service providers to be able to improve or maintain the quality of their services. The level of patient satisfaction then becomes a benchmark in the success rate of a health service. The purpose of this study is to develop a strategy to improve the quality of hospital services in the Outpatient Unit of Balikpapan Baru Hospital, East Kalimantan by analyzing patient satisfaction using the Importance Performance Analysis method. The study population is patients who come to the Outpatient Unit of the Midwifery Clinic, with a sample of 55 people. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it shows two dimensions of service that must be prioritized, namely the dimensions of responsiveness and emphaty. Meanwhile, the services that must be maintained in performance are the dimensions of reliability and safety.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the variables of human relations, physical conditions of the environment, and work ethic and to see the influence of human relations, physical conditions of the environment on the work ethic of nurses in the Inpatient Installation of Harapan and Doa Hospital, Bengkulu City. The research design used by the author in this study is a quantitative method. The sample in this study was taken from the entire population, namely 91 nurses in the Inpatient Installation of Harapan and Doa Hospital, Bengkulu City. The data analysis of this study used multiple linear regression tests with the SPSS program. The results of the study showed that partially there was a positive and significant influence between human relations on work ethic. This means that if the human relations variable is increased, the nurse's work ethic will increase in line with the increase in nurse human relations, partially there is no influence between the physical conditions of the environment on work ethic. This means that if the physical conditions of the environment are increased, the nurse's work ethic does not increase, and simultaneously there is an influence of human relations and physical conditions of the environment on the nurse's work ethic with a percentage contribution of 38.5% and the remaining 61.5% is influenced or explained by other variables that are not included in the model or outside of this study.

Abstract

Desa Eureunpalay sebuah desa yang berada di Kecamatan Cibalong Kabupaten Tasikmalaya Terletak di daerah perbukitan dengan ketinggian diatas permukaan laut kurang lebih 300 m, tingkat curah hujan per tahun rata-rata 2.072 mm dengan suhu rata-rata harian 20° sampai 34° seperti daerah Jawa Barat pada umumnya. Masalah kesejahteraan sosial di desa Eureunpalay didominasi oleh masalah keluarga miskin berjumlah 478 dan ada sebanyak 82 keluarga yang rumahnya tidak layak huni angka pengangguran pun cukup tinggi yakni tercatat 1458 orang mungkin hal ini berkaitan dengan masih kurangnya lapangan pekerjaan yang ada di desa Eureunpalay. namun potensi sumber daya alam yang ada di desa eureunpalay sangat lah melimpah mulai dari produk kehutanan, produk perikanan, produk peternakan dan produk pertanian. karena keterbatasan mereka dalam pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang ada. oleh sebab itu kami pengabdi ingin menawarkan solusi berupa manajemen pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang tepat dan pemasaran digital yang tepat.

Abstract

National education standards are the minimum criteria that must be met in the implementation of education. national education standards include content standards, process standards, graduate competency standards, educator and education staff standards, infrastructure standards, management standards, financing standards, assessment standards. The purpose of this study is to reveal efforts to improve graduate competency standards by teachers and other parties. This research uses descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted on December 12 2022 at SMPN 129 Jakarta. The results of the study show that the KL Standards of SMPN 129 Jakarta related to Spirituality, mastery of Science and Technology, and further education can be fulfilled by the teacher's role in developing each national standard and implementing programs outside of class hours.

Abstract

Educator management and education personnel are activities that must be carried out from educators and education personnel entering the educational organization to stopping through the process of HR planning, recruitment, selection, placement, compensation, awards, education and development training, and dismissal. Education and education management must absolutely be applied by the principal in order to utilize Human Resources effectively efficiently to achieve optimal results. The purpose of this study is to know and describe the planning, organizing, and supervision of educators and education personnel. Abstract

Advances in knowledge and technology make schools have to adapt to changes in zama. Facilities and infrastructure are important in supporting the learning process that can create graduates from schools to become excellent graduates. Excellent graduates are expected to be in accordance with the needs of the industrial world or the needs of society in general. One of the effectiveness of learning activities in SMK is the field of facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to determine the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at SMK Proklamasi Tanjungmekar Karawang in improving superior graduates. This research uses qualitative methods with a phenomonological approach, with the research location at SMK Proklamasi Tanjungmekar Karawang. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique that researchers use is data reduction, then presenting data and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research conducted, the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at SMK Proklamasi Tanjungmekar Karawang was obtained as follows. 1) the planning process of facilities and infrastructure implemented at SMK Proklamasi is in accordance with the established SOP, 2) the process of organizing facilities and infrastructure has been carried out in accordance with the job description well, 3) the implementation of facilities and infrastructure is running well, 4) the process of supervising facilities and infrastructure is running well

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of improving teacher performance in terms of the leadership of the school principal. This study aims to describe the increase in teacher performance through the leadership of the principal at SMP Al Falah Dago Bandung. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach and is descriptive in nature. The place and time of this research is SMP Al Falah Dago Bandung in Odd Semester 2023/2024. Data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. Informants/sources of information in this study were the Principal of SMP Al Falah, Deputy Principal of SMP Al Falah and SMP Al Falah teachers. Data analysis techniques carried out were data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study explain 1) SMP Al Falah is located in Dago Bandung, Jalan Cisitu 52 Bandung City under the auspices of the Insan Al Falah Foundation Dago Bandung, 2) Teacher performance is the ability to carry out the work of a teacher in carrying out his duties and responsibilities at the school where he teaches both in the form of knowledge and skills, 3) Principal leadership is the ability to lead all existing resources in a school to achieve common goals, and 4) Al Falah Dago Bandung principal leadership is a paternalistic and charismatic leadership style with this style influencing teacher performance. The conclusion of this study is that teacher performance can be improved through the leadership of the school principal.

Abstract

The application of the principles of transformational leadership in school management is very important to improve the quality of education, so this is the background of this research. This study aims to explain the Principles of Transformational Leadership in School Management (Case Study at SMP Negeri 1 Bojongsoang). This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach and is descriptive in nature. The place and time of this research is SMP Negeri 1 Bojongsoang in the Even Semester 2022/2023. Data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. The informants/sources of information in this study were the principal, deputy principal and teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Bojongsoang. Data analysis techniques carried out were data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study explain 1) Transformational leaders are leaders who have far-reaching insights and seek to improve and develop the organization not only for now but in the future as well, 2) Transformational leadership is based on four main dimensions, namely Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation , and Individualized Consideration, 3) The principles of transformational leadership include Simplification, Motivation, Facilitation, Innovation, Mobility, Alertness, and Determination, and 4) Application of the Principles of Transformational Leadership in School Management at SMP Negeri 1 Bojongsoang includes a clear inspirational vision, individual development, intellectual stimulation, ideal influence, inspiration and motivation, and empowerment and delegation.
