Abstract

Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, evaluating, and evaluating students. So that it is expected to be able to produce graduates who are intelligent, qualified, competitive, noble and have noble character. The era of globalization requires high-quality teachers and is ready to compete, both at national, regional and international levels. The study aims to determine the criteria for outstanding teacher competitions in elementary schools by using a multi-site approach through schools that get national-level exceptional teachers in 2017 and 2018 in West Java, Banten and DKI Jakarta. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, documentation and observation, while data analysis techniques are used through data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of the study stated that the selection of outstanding elementary school teachers was intended to increase motivation, dedication, loyalty and professionalism of teachers who were expected to have a positive effect on improving performance and achievement. Criteria for selecting outstanding teachers consist of portfolio assessment, learning videos and teacher performance assessments, written tests consisting of teacher competencies and educational insights, scientific papers and scientific writing presentations.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan wujud nyata dari tugas dosen dan mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yakni aspek pengabdian. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat desa Cidahu, maka terjadi sinergi antara perguruan tinggi dengan masyarakat sebagai wujud knowledge demokrasi. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat setempat tentang pentingnya pendidikan guna membantu pemerintah dalam mencerdaskan anak bangsa. Pengabdian dilakukan melalui kegiatan: workshop pendidikan, seminar pendidikan, pengadaan sudut baca, teras impian, dan KKN mengajar. Hasil pengabdian memberikan gambaran naiknya semangat dan meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terutama guru dan orang tua tentang instrumen akreditasi PAUD, psikologi pendidikan, pentingnya membaca bagi anak, bimbingan belajar dan pembuatan media pembelajaran bagi guru sebagai bahan dalam mengajar di kelas yang berbasis tauhid. Abstract:  Field Work Lecture (KKN) is a tangible manifestation of lecturers and students' duties in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely the aspect of dedication. Through community service activities in Cidahu village, there will be synergy between universities and the community as a form of democratic knowledge. This service aims to provide an understanding to the local community about the importance of education to help the government educate the nation's children. The service is carried out through educational workshops, educational seminars, provision of reading corners, dream terraces, and teaching KKN. The results of this dedication provide an overview of increasing enthusiasm and increasing understanding of the community, especially teachers and parents, about PAUD accreditation instruments, educational psychology, the importance of reading for children, learning guidance, and making learning media for teachers as materials in teaching in classes based on tauhid.

Abstract

The life skills education program was created to answer the poverty and unemployment problems faced by those without access to formal education. The research is aimed at evaluating the implementation effectiveness of the life skills education program at the Course and Training Institutions. This research uses the qualitative approach with the evaluative method. The evaluation model used is a model developed by Stufflebeam, namely CIPP model (context, input, process, product) but this article only focuses on the product evaluation. The results of this study indicate that the result of the program did not run as expected as the program partcipants absorped by formal employment nly numbers 18% while the others were only working as part times employment. The result also recommend that the program developer needs a very careful judgement when choosing the Course and Training Institutions executing the program. The research at the product stage showed that most of the program alumni don’t enter to formal sector. The novelty and contribution of this research is the creation of an evaluation model using the AIR method (Achievements, Issues and Recommendations) which will facilitate further researchers and related parties in utilizing the results of this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan classroom action research yang dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dengan tujuan untuk melakukan peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS khususnya materi perkembangan teknologi produksi, komunikasi, dan transportasi di kelas IV SDN Cilangkap 3 Tapos, kota Depok, Jawa Barat, dengan menggunakan pendekatan model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization. Grand Tour awal menunjukan data nilai hasil belajar siswa sebanyak 39 orang (78%) belum mencapai KKM (belum tuntas), dan hanya 11 orang (22%) yang sudah tuntas dengan KKM 70. Model penelitian menggunakan Kemmis & Mctaggart yang terdiri dari planning, acting, observing dan reflecting dengan kriteria keberhasilan penelitian 75% siswa mencapai KKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dari tiga dimensi yang diteliti yakni 1) Kualitas Pembelajaran memperolah ketuntatasan belajar 43% pada siklus pertama pertemuan pertama, 56% siklus pertama pertemuan kedua, dan 85% pada siklus kedua pertemuan pertama. 2) Perubahan Perilaku Siswa memperoleh ketuntasan belajar 54% pada siklus pertama pertemuan pertama, 63% siklus pertama pertemuan kedua, dan 83% pada siklus kedua pertemuan pertama. 3) Tes Hasil Belajar memperoleh ketuntasan belajar 38% pada siklus pertama pertemuan pertama, 60% siklus pertama pertemuan kedua, dan 82% pada siklus kedua pertemuan pertama. Kenaikan porsentase hasil siklus pertama pertemuan pertama dan kedua dimensi kualitas pembelajaran 12%, perubahan perilaku siswa 9%, dan hasil belajar 22%. Sementara itu, siklus pertama dan kedua dimensi kualitas pembelajaran 29%, perubahan perilaku siswa 20% dan hasil belajar siswa 22%.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, IPS, Team Assisted Individualization

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research which aims to determine how efforts to improve learning outcomes through the model of Contextual Teaching Learning students 5B grade in science subjects at SDN Siliwangi. The grand tour initial showed that only 35.71% or 15 students scored above the KKM with a total of 42 students. The average science score in class 5B is 60.95. This Classroom Action Research uses the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting with success indicators of 80% of students have achieved learning outcomes with a KKM score of 65 and teacher and student activeness reaching 85%. The results showed that from 3 aspects studied, namely: Student learning outcomes obtained 54.76% learning completeness in the first cycle and 76.42% in the second cycle 84.37% student activity in the first cycle and 87.50% in the second cycle. Teacher activeness was 83.34% in the first cycle and 89.58% in the second cycle The increase in the percentage of the results of the primary cycle aspects of student learning outcomes was 19.05%, 22% student and activeness13% teacher activeness. Meanwhile, in the first cycle and the second cycle, the increase in the aspects of learning outcomes was 28%, student activity 3% and teacher activity 6%.

Abstract

Parental support in improving the quality of education services in schools is needed. Awareness of the importance of quality education will help schools as education providers to realize quality education. There is a need for the support of the school committee as a forum for the participation of parents in education. This study wants to describe the implementation of the role and function of the school committee in supporting the improvement of education quality services at SMAN 9 Cirebon City. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The results showed that in general, the school committee of has school carried out all its roles and functions, although not yet optimal. School committees consider more related to school programs that need to be implemented but are not covered by school finances. Communication with alumni is well established and has even been able to contribute to the renovation of the school mosque. Efforts to provide non-financial support are carried out by establishing communication and comparative studies with other schools deemed to have a better quality infrastructure. The results of the comparative study are arranged in a priority program to support the progress of the quality of education services.

Abstract

The government formed the Education Board to ensure the implementation of a democratic and quality education policy through community involvement as education stakeholders. By examining the achievement of the objectives of the establishment of the Education Board, this study wanted to see how the Education Board contributed to improving the quality of Education services in Cirebon District. This research was conducted qualitatively in 2019 with the method of data collection through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. The results showed that the Board of Education had not yet optimally contributed. The general public does not understand the existence of the Board of Education. Community participation in education that should be optimized through the School Committee has also not been optimally touched. Collaboration with industry has not been established so that the involvement of the Industrial Business World in the development of Education has not been optimal. The absence of rules regarding budget allocations for the implementation of the Education Board activities, resulting in the Education Board unable to work optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of online learning facilitator teachers during the pandemic at SDN Cimande 01 using a qualitative approach with the case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The research respondents consisted of 1 teacher, 23 parents and 23 grade VI elementary school students. The data analysis procedure uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Validity check using source and technique triangulation. The results showed that the teacher's role as a facilitator of online learning during the pandemic was carried out through the use of information and communication technology (ICT) through WhatsApp, Google Meet and Google Classroom. Learning videos are used as learning media. The learning methods used in online learning are question and answer, discussion and assignments. The inhibitory factors for teachers as facilitators are students, who are associated with the lack of availability of their smartphones, adding an internet quota while learning, and an unstable internet network.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan wahana penerapan serta pengembangan ilmu dan teknologi, yang dilaksanakan di luar kampus dalam waktu, mekanisme kerja, dan persyaratan tertentu.  Pada masa pandemik ini kegiatan KKN yang dilaksanakan oleh Perguruan Tinggi adalah berbasis Adaptasi Kebiasaan Baru yang  merupakan upaya meningkatkan isi dan bobot pendidikan bagi mahasiswa. Dengan pelaksanaan KKN ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan kompetensi sosial dan kompetensi kepribadian mahasiswa. Pelatihan penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk membantu mahasiswa, dosen dan praktisi pendidikan menambah pengetahuan dan berbagi pengalaman terkait filosofi melaksanakan KKN, membuat abstrak, pendahuluan, metodologi, hasil dan pembahasan serta kesimpulan manuskrip pengabdian yang benar. Metode pelaksanaan KKN ini dilakukan melalui pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah berbasis daring melalui aplikasi zoom meeting. Hasil pengabdian menyatakan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah berbasis pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat menambah khasanah keilmuan masyarakat terutama mahasiswa, dosen dan praktisi pendidikan sehingga mereka mampu menuliskan ide dan gagasannya dalam bantuk karya tulis dan siap untuk di submit pada jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat.Abstract: Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a vehicle for applying and developing science and technology, which is carried out outside the campus within time, work mechanism, and specific requirements. During this pandemic period, the Community Service Program activities carried out by universities were based on New Habit Adaptation, which was an effort to increase the content and weight of education for students. With the implementation of this Community Service Program, it is hoped that it can develop students' social competencies and personal competencies. This article writing training aims to help students, lecturers, and education practitioners increase their knowledge and share experiences related to the philosophy of implementing KKN, making abstracts, introduction, methodology, results and discussions, and conclusions of correct service manuscripts. The method of implementing KKN is done through online-based scientific article writing training through the zoom meeting application. The results of the dedication state that the training activities for writing scientific papers based on community service can add to the knowledge of the community, especially students, lecturers, and education practitioners so that they can write their ideas and ideas in the form of written works and are ready to be submitted to community service journals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi manajemen diantaranya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan pendidikan kemandirian dan kewirausahaan pondok pesantren. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumen, dan merekam informasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis Miles Huberman melalui komponen analisis berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, serta kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan perencanaan pendidikan kemandirian berbasis kewirausahaa dibuat oleh tim penyelenggara diantaranya pimpinan pesantren, ketua umum yayasan, kepala sekolah, dan guru. Perencanaan dibuat berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan dan kepentingan organisasi. Pelaksanaan pendidikan kemandirian berbasis kewirausahaan dilakukan melalui suri tauladan dari seluruh pengelola pesantren, dilakukan melalui pembiasaan, penugasan, pelaksanaan pendidikan kemandirian berbasis kewirausahaan termasuk dalam kegiatan Ta’aruf.  Pengawasan pendidikan kemandirian berbasis kewirausahaan dilakukan oleh seluruh pengelola pesantren, pengawasan diberikan secara akademik dan manajerial, serta pengawasan melalui rapat konsultasi, dan koordinasi.KATA KUNCI: Pendidikan, Kemandirian, dan KewirausahaanINDEPENDENCE EDUCATION BASED ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATIONABSTRACTIndependent Character Education  has a purpose of confidence in carrying out an affair. This self-reliance education spurred the courage of someone in action, not resigned and frozen, but dynamic, energetic and always optimistic toward the future. Through Entrepreneurship it is a provision of santri or students in the future with the added value in the market, through the process of combining resources through different new ways, in order to compete. The purpose of this research is to describe the management function such as planning, implementation, supervision of self-reliance education, entrepreneurship of Darussyifa Al-Fithroh Sukabumi pesantren. The research used qualitative approach of case study. Data are collected through observation, interviews, documents, and recording / recording information. Data analysis techniques on research using Miles Huberman analysis model, the analysis component in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The result of the research states that self-reliance education based on entrepreneurship planning is made by the team of pesantren, among them the leadership of pesantren, the chairman of the foundation, the heads, the teachers, the planning made the aspect of needs and interests, and determines the teachers who are capable in the implementation of the activities. The implementation of entrepreneurship based self-reliance education is done through the role model of all pesantren managers, conducted through habituation, assignment, implementation of entrepreneurial based self-reliance education included in Ta'aruf activities. The supervision of entrepreneurship based autonomy education is carried out by all board managers, supervision is given academically and managerially, and supervision through consultation meeting, coordination.
