Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine and prove the influence of teacher competency, work motivation and job satisfaction factors on teacher performance both partially and simultaneously. This research is in the form of a survey with quantitative associative descriptive methods. With analytical tools using a multiple regression analysis approach. The research was conducted in 30 elementary schools involving 215 elementary school teacher respondents in Johan Pahlawan Meulaboh sub-district, West Aceh Regency. The research results found (a). The level of achievement of teacher competence is in the good category, namely 88.08%, the level of achievement of teacher work motivation is high at 82.08%, while the level of teacher satisfaction at work has reached 84.33% and the level of achievement of teacher competence is in the good category. Teacher performance is good, reaching 84.86% of ideal expectations. (b) The results of multiple regression analysis conclude that the factors of teacher competence, work motivation and teacher satisfaction partially have a positive effect on performance, (c). Based on correlation and determination analysis, it is proven that there is a very close relationship and the three factors, namely teacher competence, work motivation and teacher satisfaction, contribute 53.5% to changes in teacher performance

Abstract

Research to determine the influence of the principal's visionary leadership factors, school culture and teacher achievement motivation on teacher performance. Associative type of quantitative descriptive research method. By using a multiple regression analysis approach. The research was conducted at 8 driving elementary schools in West Aceh Regency. The research results found (a). The level of achievement of the school principal's visionary leadership has reached 93.12%, the level of achievement of school culture that is appropriate and implemented jointly has reached 86.42%. Meanwhile, the principal's assessment stated that teacher achievement motivation was in the very good category, reaching 93.62%, and the teacher's performance level reached 92.29% of ideal expectations. (b) The results of multiple regression analysis conclude that the principal's visionary leadership, school culture and teacher achievement motivation partially have a positive effect on performance, (c). Based on correlation and determination analysis, it is proven that there is a very close relationship and the three factors are R = 0.764. And based on the coefficient of determination, the contribution of the principal's visionary leadership, school culture and teacher achievement motivation to teacher performance is 58.4%

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of academic supervision, work environment, and work motivation on teacher performance at SDN Gugus 1 in Meureubo District, West Aceh. Specifically, the objectives are (1) to assess the impact of academic supervision on teacher performance, (2) to evaluate the influence of work environment on teacher performance, (3) to determine the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, and (4) to analyze the combined effect of academic supervision, work environment, and work motivation on teacher performance. The study employs a quantitative approach, targeting a population of 114 teachers, with a sample of 89 selected through proportional random sampling using the Slovin formula at a 5% error margin. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire, which underwent validity and reliability testing. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed for data analysis, along with hypothesis testing through t-tests and F-tests and the determination coefficient, all processed using SPSS 21. The results indicate that academic supervision significantly influences teacher performance, with a p-value of 0.003. Similarly, work motivation significantly impacts teacher performance with a p-value of 0.000, and the work environment also shows a significant positive influence with a p-value of 0.041. Furthermore, the simultaneous analysis reveals a significant combined effect of academic supervision, work environment, and work motivation on teacher performance, with a p-value of 0.000. These findings suggest that enhancing academic supervision, improving the work environment, and fostering teacher motivation can effectively boost teacher performance in SDN Gugus 1. The study's implications extend beyond the local context, offering practical recommendations for educational institutions aiming to improve teacher performance through strategic interventions in supervision, environment, and motivation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah (1) Menemukan dan menguji apakah kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar (2) Apakah  kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh langsung terhadap motivasi kerja guru Sekolah Dasar (3) Apakah  kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja guru Sekolah Dasar (4) Apakah motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja guru Sekolah Dasar 5) Apakah  kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini ini dilakukan pada SD Negeri se Kabupaten Bireuen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, pendekatan survey, populasi 408 guru, sampel 202 guru, teknik pengambilan sampel secara proportional random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin pada taraf kesalahan 5%, teknik pengumpulan data kuesioner ”skala likert” dan teknik pengolahan data analasis jalur. Temuan penelitian secara parsial diperoleh pengaruh langsung (1) kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,147; (2) motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,142; (3) kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 0,128; (4) motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 0,134; (5) kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,470. Temuan penelitian secara simultan kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja secara bersama sama terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,52 sedangkan sisanya 0,48 ditentukan oleh faktor lain

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Perencanaan peningkatan kinerja dosen IAIN Lhokseumawe; 2) Strategi peningkatan kinerja dosen IAIN Lhokseumawe; dan 3) Pengawasan dan evaluasi peningkatan kinerja dosen IAIN Lhokseumawe. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Perencanaan peningkatan kinerja dosen yang dikembangkan antara lain; pengiriman tugas belajar, pengiriman short courses, penataran atau lokakarya dalam pembinaan dan kajian keilmuan yang relevan bagi dosen, program pelatihan dan pembinaan dalam menunjang kemampuan akademik; 2) Pelaksanaan kegiatan peningkatan kinerja dosen, disesuai dengan perencanaan yang telah disusun sebelumnya, pelaksanaan peningkatan kinerja dosen mengarah pada Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi; 3) Pengawasan yang dilaksanakan dengan melakukan penilaian kinerja dosen didasarkan atas kinerja tri dharma perguruan tinggi, penilaian administratif oleh pimpinan, dan penilaian-penilaian lainnya.

School principals play a critical role in improving teachers' teaching abilities, particularly in the context of differentiated learning, where strategies are tailored to meet diverse student needs. This study aims to analyze the role of school principals in improving teachers’ pedagogical competence, focusing on their managerial efforts related to differentiated learning. Specifically, the research investigates the principal's role in planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring differentiated learning to foster improved pedagogical skills among teachers. A qualitative research approach was used with a descriptive design. Seven participants were involved: one principal, two supervisors, and five lead teachers. Data were collected through triangulation techniques to ensure reliability. The study examined the principal’s activities related to differentiated learning and their impact on improving teachers' pedagogical competence. The results of the research findings are as follows: (1) The managerial role of school principals plays an important role in improving teacher competence in differentiated learning. Principals effectively use a variety of strategies to manage and improve the quality of teaching, including planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluation. (2) The principal has established comprehensive planning steps in improving pedagogical competence in the annual Activity Plan (RKT). (3) The principal has set clear standards and success indicators related to differentiated learning, which are listed under the supervision of teachers. The study concludes that school principals play a vital role in improving teachers' pedagogical competence.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) To analyze the influence of managerial competence on teacher performance; 2) To analyze the influence of Academic Supervision on Teacher Performance; 3) To analyze the influence of school culture on teacher performance; 4) To analyze the influence of Managerial Competence, Academic Supervision and School Culture simultaneously on teacher performance in implementing the independent curriculum. This research method uses quantitative research methods, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 120 research samples from 172 research populations. The results of this research; 1) managerial competence has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance by 32%, 2) academic supervision has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance by 7%, 3) school culture has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance by 32%.

Abstract

Quality education is a key factor in enhancing a nation's competitiveness in the era of globalization. Along with the development of time, digitalization in education has become an urgent necessity to improve the effectiveness of learning and school management. School-Based Management (SBM) and transformational leadership are two main factors in improving education quality; however, their effectiveness in addressing the challenges of the digital era remains a subject of debate. This study aims to analyze the influence of School-Based Management (SBM) and Transformational Leadership through Digital Transformation on Education Quality at SMP IBS Cirebon. The research method used is quantitative with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach to examine the relationships between variables. The results of the study indicate that SBM and transformational leadership (p-value = 0.016) significantly affect education quality (p-value = 0.019). However, both SBM (p-value = 0.000) and transformational leadership (p-value = 0.002) were found to have a significant impact on digital transformation. Furthermore, digital transformation significantly influences education quality (p-value = 0.000) and also acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between SBM and transformational leadership with education quality. The findings of this study confirm that digital transformation plays a crucial role in enhancing education quality in the modern era. Therefore, schools need to optimize digitalization in management and learning to achieve better education quality.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di era Industri 4.0, yang begitu pesat, risiko keamanan informasi semakin meningkat. Banyak pesantren yang telah memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam mendukung kegiatan operasionalnya seperti: menggunakan komputer, mengakses internet, memiliki website, dan mengelola sistem teknologi informasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan kerangka kerja Indeks Kami Dan COBIT 5 pada Tol Indeks Kami dan domain DSS dalam mengevaluasi tata kelola teknologi informasi dan menghitung nilai sekor dan nilai capability level pada kesenjangan Pondok Pesantren Sunni Darussalam. Hasil evaluasi akhir ini dari Indek kami dan Cobit 5 menunjukan bahwa sistem keamanan teknologi informasi yang ada di Pondok Pesantren Sunni Darussalam membutuhkan perbaikan karena mendapatkan skor hasil evaluasi 170 dan 284 yang bisa disimpulkan belum optimal atau masih rendah. Sedangkan untuk hasil evaluasi Cobit 5 hasil Analisis Tingkat Kapabilitas pada Domain DSS COBIT 5 yang diperoleh dari Pondok Pesantren Sunni Darussalam menunjukkan bahwa Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi di Pondok Pesantren tersebut berdasarkan penilaian dengan Kerangka Kerja COBIT 5 masih berstatus rendah dan perlu ditingkatkan, terbukti dengan rendahnya Nilai Capability Level.
