Abstract

Limasan Karawang Coffee Shop, as one of the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) units in Karawang, has become a popular destination for young people and teenagers to enjoy the cafe atmosphere and the various coffee products on offer. This research aims to identify and analyze the competitive strategies that have been implemented by the Limasan Karawang Coffee Shop. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis. Business Model Canvas (BMC) analysis is used to do this. Primary and secondary data were used in this research. Primary data was obtained from observations and in-depth interviews related to creating competitive strategies for the Limasan Karawang Coffee Shop which was the subject of the research. The results of research conducted by researchers in a study entitled "Analysis of the Competitive Strategy Development of Limasan Cafe" using the Business Model Canvas Approach confirm that the Business Model Canvas is an effective method as a foundation for generating strategic alternatives and establishing new strategies for the company. To help define, analyze, Designing a business model, the Business Model Canvas (BMC), consists of nine elements that represent all aspects of the business. Abstract

Da'wah, as the activity of conveying Islamic teachings, plays a crucial role in building the moral and character of society. In the digital era, the use of digital media in da'wah has become increasingly relevant to reach a broader audience and leverage technology as an effective communication tool. Human resource empowerment through da'wah and digital media not only involves the delivery of religious messages but also aims to enhance individual knowledge, skills, and ethics within social and professional environments. This study discusses strategies for human resource empowerment through da'wah and digital media activities to improve individual quality and capacity. Digital da'wah has become an effective means to disseminate religious teachings and ethics, which can support human resource character development. This article aims to analyze human resource empowerment strategies through da'wah and digital media and to identify challenges faced in its implementation. The method used is a literature review and secondary data analysis relevant to the topic. The study results indicate that the integration of da'wah and digital media can accelerate the process of empowering human resources with greater integrity, productivity, and high moral values. Abstract

This study identified students' mathematical understanding and communication deficiencies, especially in dividing numbers. Although bowls and marbles have been used to support mathematical conceptual understanding, there are limitations in understanding how students communicate effectively about division and numbers in practical contexts. This study explores students' mathematical communication skills in dividing and counting and how using bowls and marbles influences this. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach involving direct observation and video recording. The study subjects comprised four students with mild intellectual disabilities and different characteristics in communicating and understanding mathematical concepts. The instruments used included observation notes and video recordings of learning. Data were collected through observation of the learning process and video analysis to assess communication skills and conceptual understanding. The results showed that students 1 and 2 had better mathematical communication skills and a strong understanding of division, although with some initial errors. Students 3 and 4 highly depended on teacher direction and were less active in verbal communication. This study concludes that using bowls and marbles can improve understanding of division, but the success of mathematical communication is greatly influenced by active student involvement and teacher direction. This study implies the need to develop more interactive learning strategies and additional support for students with difficulties in mathematical communication. Applying teaching techniques emphasizing active student involvement and effective use of bowls and marbles can improve understanding of mathematical concepts and communication skills. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kekurangan dalam pemahaman dan komunikasi matematis siswa, terutama dalam konteks pembagian bilangan. Meskipun bowls and marbles telah digunakan untuk mendukung pemahaman konsep matematis, terdapat keterbatasan dalam memahami bagaimana siswa berkomunikasi secara efektif mengenai pembagian dan membilang dalam konteks praktis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam konteks pembagian dan membilang serta bagaimana hal ini dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan mangkok dan kelereng. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, melibatkan observasi langsung dan rekaman video. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari empat siswa tunagrahita ringan dengan karakteristik berbeda dalam berkomunikasi dan memahami konsep matematika. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi catatan observasi dan rekaman video pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi proses pembelajaran dan analisis video untuk menilai kemampuan komunikasi dan pemahaman konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa 1 dan siswa 2 memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang lebih baik dan pemahaman yang kuat mengenai pembagian, meskipun dengan beberapa kesalahan awal. Siswa 3 dan siswa 4 menunjukkan ketergantungan yang tinggi pada arahan guru dan kurang aktif dalam komunikasi verbal. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media manipulatif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman pembagian, namun keberhasilan komunikasi matematis sangat dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan aktif siswa dan arahan guru. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan dukungan tambahan bagi siswa yang menunjukkan kesulitan dalam komunikasi matematis. Penerapan teknik pengajaran yang menekankan pada keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dan penggunaan media manipulatif yang efektif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis dan keterampilan komunikasi.

Abstract

Pendidikan Matematika Realistik (PMR) di MI Riyadhussholihin merupakan pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan konsep matematik dengan konteks kehidupan nyata, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menganalisis implementasi PMR dan dampaknya terhadap pembelajaran siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PMR dilakukan dengan baik oleh guru, menggunakan berbagai metode interaktif dan kontekstual. Siswa merasa lebih tertarik dan termotivasi dalam belajar matematika, serta menunjukkan peningkatan minat dan kepercayaan diri dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematis. Analisis terhadap nilai ujian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep matematika. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya pendidikan dan variasi kemampuan siswa masih perlu diatasi. Disarankan agar sekolah menyediakan lebih banyak pelatihan lebih lanjut bagi guru dan mengembangkan sumber daya pendidikan yang mendukung penerapan PMR.

Abstract

Building a culture of tolerance and peace in Indonesia is very important because this country has rich ethnic, religious, cultural and social diversity. To make this happen, it can be done through education. This article aims to find out how to build a culture of tolerance and peace through education in Indonesia. This research is literature study research, namely an in-depth research method for investigating and analyzing relevant literature in a particular field of knowledge or topic. This paper explains that a culture of tolerance and peace can be achieved by including educational material about tolerance and peace in the school curriculum and providing a learning environment that supports open discussion about differences. Apart from that, involving educators and teaching staff in training on the importance of understanding and respecting diversity is also an integral part of building a culture of tolerance and peace.

Abstract

Drafting a charge is the most important aspect of criminal procedure, as the trial commences based on this document. Therefore, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) must carefully prepare the charge before submitting it to the district court. There are five forms of charges, namely single, alternative, subsidiary, cumulative, and combined charges. In this case, the defendant, Calvin Seidiono, was charged with a combined charge (alternative, cumulative, subsidiary) and was found guilty of money laundering. The problems raised in this journal are: 1) Is the combined charge for money laundering against the defendant appropriate? 2) What are the legal consequences if one of the criminal offences alleged by the JPU in the combined charge is not proven? To answer the research questions, the author conducted a normative study that was descriptively analyzed using secondary data. The data processing was qualitative and the conclusions were drawn using deductive logic. This study found that: 1) The prosecutor did not take the appropriate action in drafting the charge. This is because all elements must be proven when choosing a combined charge (alternative, cumulative, subsidiary). all elements must be proven. However, in the case examined in this study, only one crime was proven, so the form of the charge was inappropriate. 2) Regarding the legal consequences if one of the elements of the combined charge is not proven, the judge should have acquitted thedefendant.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of educational management strategies in developing teaching quality in RA Nurul Falah Sunyar Karawang. The educational management strategies implemented include competency-based curriculum planning, teacher professional development, and periodic evaluation and supervision. The main focus of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of these strategies in developing teaching quality and their impact on the teaching and learning process in the RA. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were several teachers and the principal of RA Nurul Salah Sunyar Karawang. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results showed that the implementation of planned and systematic education management strategies was able to significantly improve teaching quality, with indicators of increased teacher competence, the application of more innovative teaching methods, and increased parent and student satisfaction. This study provides recommendations for further development of managerial strategies to continue developing teaching quality in RA Nurul Falah Sunyar and similar educational institutions.

Abstract

This article discusses using digital technology to increase administrative efficiency in community organizations such as the PKK. The service focuses on providing training in using Microsoft Word and Excel to PKK women in Pangauban Village to overcome manual administration challenges. The research method used is community-based participatory research (CBPR), which involves the active participation of service subjects. The results show an increase in participants' digital skills, efficiency in managing data and minutes, and an increase in participants' confidence in using technology. This program positively impacts the empowerment of PKK women and has the potential to develop technology initiatives at the village level.

Abstract

SDN Bence 4 Kabupaten Blitar merupakan sekolah yang berada di wilayah rawan gempa bumi, namun belum memiliki sistem kesiapsiagaan yang memadai. Permasalahan utama mitra adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melakukan mitigasi dan penanganan awal bencana gempa bumi di lingkungan sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan dan kemampuan guru dalam menghadapi situasi darurat melalui penyuluhan mitigasi bencana. Mitra kegiatan adalah para guru SDN Bence 4. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri atas observasi awal, penyuluhan berbasis literasi kebencanaan, pelatihan simulasi tanggap darurat, dan evaluasi melalui pretest dan posttest. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terkait langkah-langkah mitigasi gempa bumi; peserta dengan kategori pemahaman tinggi meningkat dari 42% menjadi 83%. Simulasi juga menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam mengambil keputusan cepat saat situasi darurat. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan penyuluhan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan guru dan dapat direplikasi di sekolah lain yang berada di wilayah rawan bencana.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the company's performance using the balanced scorecard method, which will be measured using a financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business perspective and performance learning and growth perspective, the research method uses a descriptive analysis research method with quantitative descriptive approach, the research results show that the company's performance uses a perspective approach. The higher the financial percentage of the current ratio, the more liquid the financial condition of the research object is, while the company's performance using a customer perspective means that the revenue generating index increases, the service gets better, while the financial performance measured using the customer business method shows that Minimize Error Rate and Rework (MERR)The smaller it is, the smaller the error in the service system. Results of Prime Plaza Hotel Purwakarta in 2021 using a balanced scorecard for the Learning and Growth perspective, Prime Plaza Hotel Purwakarta got a meaning Fair/Average.
