Abstract

Introduction: Drugs prescribing is the most important skill for physicians and is strictly regulated by the government. However, factors that contribute to the drug prescribing are not determined yet. The aim of this study is to identify the possible role of physician character in drug prescribing at primary health centers (PHC).Method: A cross-sectional study was purposely done over fourteen-days at PHCs of Tangerang Districts. All prescriptions (n=2410) registered in the PHC drug-alert system (CIDIA Database) were analyzed descriptively.Result: From 2410 prescriptions registered in the PHC drug alert system, 15% prescriptions were prescribed by male physicians and 85% by the females. During the study, there were 964 drugs prescribed by 6 male physicians, 161 drugs per physician in average. There were 5584 drugs prescribed by 12 female physicians, 465 drugs per physician on average. Female physicians tended to prescribe 4 or more drugs compared to its male counterpart at 14% (p=0.006). However, there was no significant difference of drug interactions observed in the prescriptions prescribed by male or female physicians (p>0.05).Discussion: We identified that physician characteristics including gender played a significant role in the drug prescribing process especially the number of drugs prescribed. Therefore, considering gender differences in prescribing drugs may help the PHCs to improve a better management in drug safety and to comply with the government prescribing regulation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze region's native income (pad), results-sharing funds (DBH), and population (jp) of regional spending (db) districts (west Java). The population of this research is eight counties. The sample used in this study is the use of the random sampling method. The data analysis technique by using the regression analysis of the panel. Based on analysis already done, it may be concluded that partial original-income (pad) and outsource funds (DBH) have a negative and insignificant impact on area spending, while the number of people (jp) has a positive and significant impact on local spending. Simultaneously, DBH, jp has a significant impact on regional spending. The study provides implications specifically to the county/provincial governments of west Java to increase quality and resources such as natural resources and human resources that are expected to boost local reception and cut down on the central government's transfer fund.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of profit sharing, BOPO and financing on profitability with non-performing financing (NPF) as a moderating variable. This study uses linear regression analysis of panel data on 11 Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) for the 2015-2019 period in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that profit sharing and financing have a positive effect, BOPO has a negative effect on the profitability of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The relationship between profit sharing and financing in Islamic banking is moderated by non-performing financing, but not with the relationship for financing and operating income (BOPO) which is not able to moderate by non-performing financing. This research contributes to Islamic banking in Indonesia in order to make effective financing with results sharing and operational cost efficiency in operating income (BOPO) so that performance can improve financial performance.

This type of research is a quantitative study with a population of Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Kudus customers who make a living as laborers. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling, totaling 100 respondents. Workers are chosen to be unique because of their livelihood and ownership of Islamic bank accounts. The analytical tool used is path analysis. The results showed that Islamic branding, service quality, and saving intention positively affected saving decisions. Knowledge is not significant in saving decisions. Saving intention cannot mediate the influence of Islamic branding on saving decisions. Saving intention can mediate the effect of knowledge and service quality on saving decisions. The research contributes to the marketing model and services for workers. However, workers have a different segmentation from other consumers.

The approach used is post-positivistic with data collection techniques through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and concluding, with validity tested through triangulation, extended attendance, and discussions with colleagues. The results of the study indicate that madrasah principals integrate the vision and mission of the madrasah into the work program, provide motivation through moral support and rewards, improve teacher competency through training, provide adequate learning facilities, and meet the needs of individual educators. Overall, madrasah principals play a central role in implementing Transformational Leadership with a collaborative, inspirational, and value-based approach. This strategy creates an educational environment that supports the development of educators' potential and encourages the creation of quality learning that is in line with the madrasah's vision as a center for the development of faith, science, and technology.

Abstract

The micromolar calcium-activated neutral protease 1 (CAPN1) gene encodes the u-calpain enzyme, which plays a crucial role in meat tenderisation. Genetic diversity within the CAPN1 gene, specifically a nucleotide substitution from G to C in exon nine resulting in a change from glycine to alanine at position 316 (CAPN1-316 marker), is known to significantly affect meat tenderness. This study aimed to assess the polymorphism of the CAPN1-316 locus in Bali and Sumbawa cattle. A total of 293 blood samples, 193 from Bali cattle and 100 from Sumbawa cattle were extracted and genotyped using PCR-RFLP with BtgI restriction enzyme (recognition sequence: 5'-C*CRYGG-3') applied to 706 bp PCR products. The results showed the presence of only one genotype (GG genotype) and one allele (G allele) in all DNA samples obtained from the Bali and Sumbawa cattle populations studied. In conclusion, the CAPN1-316 genetic marker showed a lack of diversity or monomorphism in Bali and Sumbawa cattle, making it unsuitable for further association studies in these breeds. Consequently, the CG/AG haplotype identified in Sumbawa cattle warrants further investigation and could serve as an alternative genetic marker, especially due to its monomorphism at the CAPN1-316 locus.

Abstract

This research examined how the anthropological approach to Islamic education is in building noble spirituality and overcoming problems of social conflict. The object of study is the student boarding school, Mahad Talhah bin Ubaidillah to be precise, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province. This study uses a phenomenological approach, including a type of qualitative method. It collects data using observation interviews, documentation, and single data analysis (individual case analysis). The study's results found that the value of ukhuah Islamiyah was instilled to form students who always maintain unity and create harmonious relationships. Instilled noble moral values to shape students to become polite individuals, both in speech and in behaviour. In addition, it is customary to hold deliberations when facing problems, which is done to shape students into individuals who respect and respect the opinions of others, not feeling the most righteous themselves. As well as the habit of maintaining other people's privacy, this is to form students into individuals who do not like to interfere in private matters. Given that students live together in the dormitory. When these values are not instilled, they will disturb and damage the comfort of other students. This conclusion can become an idea for realizing good spirituality and can be a reference for overcoming social conflicts.

Abstract

Strengthening religiosity for students is a variable that is considered very important in enhancing character in madrasas. This research aims to explain the contribution of parents' role in parenting patterns and students' moral awareness towards students' religious behaviour. This research uses quantitative analysis using cause and effect relationships. The population in this study was 246 students. The research sample was 159 students using the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques use interviews, questionnaires and documentation. This research uses several assumption tests, including normality, heteroscedasticity and linearity, multicollinearity, and suitability of the regression model. The research results show an R-value of 0.545, which shows the level of reliability based on the Alpha value in the Medium category in the interval 0.4?0.70. The role of parents in providing motivation and moral awareness in shaping religious behaviour has a significant contribution, with an increase in the ability of 29.7%. Therefore, parents have an essential role in providing parenting patterns in the form of exemplary habituation to children to provide an awareness value so that children have good religious behaviour.
