Abstract

This research aims to examine the meaning of Kaili ethnic cultural symbols to strengthen the values of Islamic education among the Kaili ethnic community. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this research uses observation, interviews and documentation methods. Data analysis in this research uses single data analysis (individual case analysis), with the data analysis model from Miles and Huberman, through three paths of activities that occur simultaneously. This research found that there are sambulugana symbols and sintuvu symbols in organizing their daily life systems. These symbols are interpreted deeply because they have fundamental values. The sambulugana symbol teaches the concept of gratitude and resignation to God Almighty. Meanwhile, the sintuvu concept teaches the values of ukhuwah or cooperation between people. The sintuvu symbol reminds the Kaili ethnic community of how they live in interdependence with one another. The sintuvu symbol also teaches us not to create distance between relatives. So, as much as possible, maintain kinship relations even in buying and selling (exchanging goods).

Abstract

This article aims to learn how to conduct an adequate evaluation using approaches based on Islamic philosophy. Because inconsistencies in the implementation of educational assessments can lead to less than optimal results after inspection, this requires appropriate methods for the full review. The author made this article with a library approach, collecting materials from library books, research reports, newspapers, books, research reports, theses, dissertations, and scientific journals in print and non-print media. In Islamic education, the purpose of the evaluation is to make al-Insan al-Kamil human or a complete human person. Likewise, the purpose of education is to educate students to have faith, be pious, develop a religious mentality, master science, and apply what has been learned in school to adapt to the life of the wider community. Evaluation can also provide feedback to students about their achievements and the extent of their perspectives and knowledge during the learning process. Philosophy also educates people to think, have insight, and reason broadly to view an event or problem from various perspectives, with the result being the correct answer.

Abstract

Blockchain is a distribution system consisting of a set of blocks connected to each other using cryptographic technology. Each block consists of a set of information that is recorded in a decentralized manner and does not rely on one party to validate the transaction. Each block stores a reference to the previous block in the Block Chain network, any modifications or changes in one block will be immediately known because the changes are not contained in other blocks, this property is meant by distributed, known as DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology). The blockchain authentication method is a series of processes used to verify the validity of a transaction or information stored in the blockchain network. Similar to the blockchain, the hadith as the second source of law after the Qur'an, when conveyed by the Prophet Muhammad Saw to the companions (sahabah), the companion then distributed it to other companions not only the matan (the content of the hadith) but also the sanad (narrators). The authenticity of the hadith is maintained by the composition of the chain of narrators called sanad and the figure of the narrator who has the capability and is trusted to convey a hadith. This method is then known as decentralized and distributed information, which is the same information owned by many parties, so it is very difficult to make changes unless it changes all parties who receive the information (mutawatir). This research will compare the concepts of blockchain authentication methods and hadith authentication methods with a literature review approach.

Abstract

Biodiesel is an environmentally friendly alternative fuel for diesel engines. The research studies the extraction process of biodiesel from waste produced by a fish canning factory using a heterogeneous catalyst known as cocopeat ash. The experiment was designed utilizing a completely randomized design with two factorial treatments and four repetitions. The primary factor under investigation was the composition of the catalyst, specifically 3%, 5%, and 7% w/v methanol. The second factor examined was the reaction time of either 60 minutes or 120 minutes. Data analysis revealed variations in density, viscosity, acid number, and Free Fatty Acids (FFA) in fish oil before and after refinement. The treatment that yielded the highest results was A3B2, featuring a catalyst composition of 7% and a reaction time duration of two hours, which achieved an impressive biodiesel yield of 81%. Moreover, several parameters tested for compliance with SNI-04-7182-2015 standards showed positive outcomes. These parameters include a density value measuring 876.3 kg/m³, the flash point around 160°C, iodine number reaching 16.36 g/100g, and heating value 47.47 MJ/Kg.

Abstract

Agriculture is something that cannot be separated from the lives of Indonesian people where most of the people are farmers. More specifically, the people of Tejo village are mostly farmers who make a living, therefore fertilizer is their daily companion. Most farmers in Indonesia still depend on the use of inorganic or chemical fertilizers even though excessive use of inorganic fertilizers in the long term will actually cause negative effects. The application of excessive doses of synthetic chemical fertilizers can cause environmental pollution, moreover, continuous use for a long time can cause land productivity to decrease and soil fertilizing microorganisms to decrease. One of the non-chemical fertilizers that can be used is organic fertilizer in liquid form (POC) from onion peel waste and rice washing water where the excess more quickly stimulates the growth of roots, new shoots and plant cells, repairs chlorophyll in leaves, strengthens pollen stalks in flowers, and strengthens endurance in plants. From the results of the recapitulation of the Pre-test questionnaire, 56% increased by 33% with the socialization to 86% of the results of the recapitulation of the Post-test questionnaire.
