Misconceptions of a concept in a lesson will have an influence on understanding the next concept. Having misconceptions that exist in learning can understand the nature of the misconceptions and consequently can help student learning progress. Therefore, a diagnostic test for misconceptions is needed, including the newest four-tier multiple-choice and five-tier multiple-choice. This research is a literature review that provides an information system using the PRISMA method which often occurs in students' misconceptions in high school physics subjects. The data for this research are 60 selected articles from 2017-2021. The purpose of this study is to reveal the use of four-tier multiple-choice and five-tier multiple-choice diagnostic tests in physics and also provide a comparison of each instrument with the strengths and weaknesses of the four-tier multiple-choice and five-tier multiple-choice diagnostic tests. Furthermore, the use of multiple-choice four levels (83.33%) and multiple-choice five levels (16.67%). In the use of the four-tier multiple choice physical material diagnostic test, which is often used in identifying misconceptions, are optical devices (12%) and energy businesses (10%). And the use of an additional five-tier multiple-choice instrument diagnostic test that is often used is to present an overview or conclusion at the fifth level. However, each type of four-tier multiple-choice and five-tier multiple-choice test has its own advantages and disadvantages in assessing students' conceptions.

In the world of education, teachers can use technology in learning activities in learning material. The fact found in schools is that the learning material used by students are still low in the use of technology. This indirectly has an impact on student learning outcomes which are still low. One solution that can be done is to apply Newton's law electronics learning material with Kvisoft Flipbook. This study aimed to improve the learning outcomes of class X students of SMAN 1 Payakumbuh. This research is a quasi-experiment with a randomized posttest only control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with random cluster sampling. The data collection instrument consisted of a written test sheet for the knowledge aspect, an observation sheet for the attitude aspect, and a performance appraisal sheet for the skills aspect. From the results of data analysis, it can be stated that applying Newton's law electronics learning material with Kvisoft Flipbook Maker can improve learning outcomes in the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class X students of SMAN 1 Payakumbuh with a 95% confidence level.

The purpose of this study was to develop a test instrument for the basic physics concept course which was compiled based on the CTL learning model to improve students' 21st century skills (4C). This type of research is R&D and the design used by ADDIE. The subjects of this study were 25 semester 1 PGSD UNP students who worked on 33 questions on the instrument. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis by calculating the validity, reliability of the questions, discriminating power and level of difficulty. The results of this study were 78% valid questions and 22% invalid questions. Reliability of 0.933 which is included in the high reliability category. It is known that 18% of the questions are in the difficult category, 61% are in the medium category and 21% are in the easy category. The power of difference test obtained 6% of the questions included in the very bad category, 3% of the questions included in the bad category, 27% in the sufficient category, 61% in the good category and 3% in the very good category.

The ability to think critically is an ability needed by students in the 21st century. Problem-based learning is one of the learning models that can stimulate students' critical thinking skills. Students' difficulties in solving contextual problems of temperature and heat material oriented to students' critical thinking skills and the unavailability of teaching materials that facilitate students in improving students' critical thinking skills. This study used Research & Development with Plomp's development model. The research subjects were 36 students of class XI in each high school in Solok City. Research data in the form of needs analysis (curriculum analysis, material, learner character analysis) development analysis (product design, formative evaluation) and assessment analysis (normality test, homogeneity, critical thinking ability hypothesis). The results showed that student e-books were in the valid category while in terms of material experts were in the valid category and the practicality of student e-books was seen in the results of student responses with an average of 93% with a very practical category and the effectiveness of student e-books seen in the average N-gain value of 0.683. The resulting student e-book is feasible to be used by teachers in the learning process, problem-based learning models will be more effective in spurring critical thinking skills if teachers use this student e-book.

Students must possess 21st century abilities, including the ability to think critically and creatively, in order for education to be developed for this century. Teaching materials are required to support students' learning as they develop these skills. The development of the 21st century cannot be separated from technological developments which are developing rapidly so that Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based teaching materials are very popular to use. The goal of the study was to ascertain how STEM-based instructional materials affected students' capacity for critical and creative thought. The research method used is meta-analysis of 22 national and international journal articles. The research results obtained are with variations in the level of educational units, teaching material subjects, critical and creative thinking skills as well as the variety of teaching materials used state that the use of STEM-based teaching materials has a significant influence on students' critical and creative thinking skills. The conclusion from this meta-analysis research is that there is a significant influence from the use of STEM-based teaching materials on students' critical and creative thinking skills

This study aims to investigate the effect of an ethnobiology learning model based on design thinking on students' critical thinking skills. The research is a type of quasi-experimental research with a randomized control group pretest-postest design. The population of this study came from SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci. The research sample came from two classes, namely class XI MIPA (experimental class) and class MIPA 3 (control class) totaling 42 students. The experimental class group used the ethnobiology learning model while the control class group used the conventional learning model. The sampling technique is random sampling. The research instrument was an objective test of critical thinking skills. Data analysis was quantitative statistical analysis with the help of SPSS version 26. The results of this study showed that the average value of posttest and N-gain critical thinking skills of classes that obtained ethnobiology learning based on design thinking was better than classes that used conventional learning. The t-test results show that the ethnobiology learning model based on design thinking has an effect on critical thinking skills sig. < 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05). Students' thinking skills in the experimental class obtained an average score of 82.30 with an N-gain value of 0.72
