Abstract

This research looks at the difficulties and solutions faced by teaching staff in developing interesting and relevant lesson plans for students at MTs Hifzil Qur'an Yayasan Islami Center North Sumatra. In addition, it also analyzes the ability of teacher performance in the process of making Lesson Plans (RPP). Through interviews with teachers and principals, it is known that the creation of lesson plans must be based on the syllabus, which serves as the main framework for identifying basic abilities. Teachers face many obstacles, including time constraints, poor resources and requirements for adaptability. Nonetheless, educators show originality and creativity by modifying lesson plans according to students' needs and the classroom environment, and by applying techniques such as ice-breaking games to increase students' interest. Madrasah leaders play an important role in guiding and assisting educators and ensuring that classroom plans adhere to established criteria. The findings of this study suggest that to improve the quality of lesson planning and implementation and provide more engaging and effective teaching, adequate facility assistance and strong academic supervision are essential.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work climate on teacher performance at MTs Swasta Cerdas Murni. The work climate here includes physical, social, and psychological conditions in the teacher's work environment, which includes aspects such as managerial support, communication between colleagues, and the level of perceived security. This research method is quantitative using a questionnaire as a data collection tool and other supporting data. The population in this study were all teachers at MTs Swasta Cerdas Murni, so that the entire population in this study was a sample of 30 teachers (population study). Based on the results of the study and the hypothesis, it shows that there is a significant influence between work climate on teacher performance at MTs Swasta Cerdas Murni. Based on the results of the study and calculations, it was found that there was an influence between work climate variables on teacher performance at MTs Swasta Cerdas Murni. The results of the hypothesis test with the T test showed that t count = 2.976, df = n-2 = 30-2 = 28. The t table value = 2.048, at the 0.05 level. Because t count ≥ t table, namely = 2.976 ≥ 2.048, with a significance value of 0.006 (6%) it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This is supported by the results of a simple regression test which states the relationship between the two variables, Y = 30.705 + 1.456X. The meaning of this regression equation is if the work climate value is 0, then the teacher's performance value is 30.705. The regression coefficient value of the teacher performance variable (b) is 1.456; this can be interpreted that for every 1% increase in work climate, teacher performance increases by 1.456. Furthermore, in the determination coefficient test, the R square value is obtained = 0.240, this means that the work climate variable affects the teacher performance variable by 24%. Thus, teacher performance at MTs Swasta Cerdas Murni is 24% influenced by the existing work climate and 76% is influenced by other factors or causes other than the variables studied. Nevertheless, it can be suggested for teachers and school principals to continuously improve their performance in order to achieve the school's goals effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This article explores the challenges faced by teachers in implementing the "Kurikulum Merdeka" (Independent Curriculum) in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The study utilizes a literature review method to analyze relevant sources and gain a deeper understanding of the issues faced by teachers. The findings reveal several key challenges. Firstly, curriculum adaptation poses a major challenge, as it requires teachers to integrate Islamic teachings with the principles and demands of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Secondly, project-based learning within the curriculum demands additional effort from teachers in designing and managing active student involvement. Thirdly, holistic evaluation becomes complex for teachers as it involves assessing skills, attitudes, and religious knowledge. Additionally, resource limitations such as appropriate textbooks and learning materials aligned with the Kurikulum Merdeka hinder effective implementation. Insufficient training and support for teachers also influence the success of curriculum implementation. Recommendations include enhancing support and training for teachers, improving the availability of textbooks and learning resources, and fostering collaboration among teachers, schools, and communities to strengthen the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Especially in the face of the challenges of globalization and complex social changes, character education is very important to develop quality human resources. Library research methods and case studies are used in this study to achieve the goal of creating a system-based character education program. Literature reviews discuss the literature on the theory and practice of character education, while case studies show how these methods are used in certain situations. Character education programs use a systems approach, which combines various aspects, such as curriculum, learning techniques, school environment, family, and community involvement, to produce a sustainable and mutually supportive educational process. The results of this study show that the systems approach allows for a more effective character education program compared to the partial or limited approach to the school environment only.

Abstract

Learning planning plays a role in optimizing the use of learning time. Teachers can organize logical learning sequences, prioritize important learning topics, and avoid wasting time. This allows teachers to cover all aspects of learning well. Learning planning also has an impact on learning evaluation. Teachers can plan evaluations that are in line with learning objectives, use valid evaluation instruments, and collect accurate data about student achievement. With a good evaluation, teachers can see to what extent learning objectives are achieved, identify students' weaknesses and strengths, and make necessary improvements in teaching. Overall, learning planning has an important role in improving the quality of teaching. With good planning, teachers can direct teaching more effectively, provide learning experiences that are relevant and appropriate to student needs, and ensure that learning objectives are achieved well.

In addition, they used data analysis for collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study show several problems that arise in the implementation of recitation in majelis taklim. Among these problems are that the administrators do not have enough responsibility to complete their tasks because there is no more food or alms after the recitation, the mad'u do not like the direct practice done by the ustadz, not enough media, and lack of understanding of the lecture. In addition, to overcome the problems of majelis taklim, the administrators should be given greater attention to the issue of organisational structure.
