Abstract

Berbak and Sembilang National Parks are conservation areas that become habitats for various types of plants and animals, including birds. This stud ypurpose to find species diversity, species evenness, species richness, dominance, species abundance and bird conservation status in Simpang Village. Data collection was carried out using the point count method and transect as many as 3 points which were assumed to represent one ecosystem, namely swamp ecosystems, shrubs and water bodies. The results obtained were 36 types of birds from 22 families. The value of the diversity index in the type of swamp ecosystem of 2,295 and the water body of 2,940 is in the medium category and the shrub ecosystem of 3,754 is relatively high. The three types of ecosystems have a stable distribution of types ranging from 0.21 < E < 1, no species dominate, but have a varied wealth of species, namely in low swamp ecosystems, medium shrub ecosystems and high water body ecosystems. This is due to the existence of three different types of ecosystems in the village, so that each ecosystem has a diverse species composition. Thus, Simpang Village is still classified as having a well-maintained diversity of birds, but still has to make efforts to conserve birds so that the bird population does not decrease, one of which is through continuous counseling by involving parties to educate and increase public awareness in the conservation of birds and their habitats.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of an environmental education teaching module using the discovery learning model for elementary students. This research is a development research conducted using the 4D development model, which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research subjects involved teachers and students from the second-grade class of SDN 067/VIII Muaro Sekalo. Data collection techniques were the use of validation questionnaires for teacher and student responses. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research results indicate the validity and practicality of the environmental education teaching module using the discovery learning model for elementary students consists of an average validity level of 4.47 with very valid category and an average practicality level of 4.81 with very practical category. It can be concluded that the development of the environmental education teaching module using the discovery learning model for elementary school students is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Data dari WHO menunjukkan prevalensi gangguan mental yang signifikan pada usia 15-29 tahun, termasuk depresi dan kecemasan. Mahasiswa, khususnya pada fase emerging adulthood, dinilai rentan terhadap masalah ini akibat tekanan akademik dan sosial..Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak broken heart terhadap pola tidur dan kesehatan mental di kalangan mahasiswa/i UINSU. Metode: Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif analitik observasional dengan desain case-control, data dikumpulkan dari 160 mahasiswa melalui kuesioner terstandar, termasuk Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) untuk mengukur kualitas tidur. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa (57,5%) mengalami broken heart dalam satu tahun terakhir. Tingkat broken heart ringan lebih dominan (91,3%) dibandingkan tingkat berat (8,8%). Analisis korelasi Spearman dan uji ANOVA serta uji t independen menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan dan searah antara tingkat broken heart dengan kesehatan mental (p<0,01), di mana semakin berat tingkat broken heart, semakin terganggu kesehatan mental. Selain itu, uji Chi-Square, ANOVA, dan uji t independen juga mengungkapkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara broken heart dengan pola tidur (p<0,05), di mana tingkat broken heart yang lebih berat cenderung berhubungan dengan pola tidur yang lebih buruk.. Kesimpulan: Broken heart memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental dan pola tidur mahasiswa/i UINSU.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize Quran memorization through the implementation of the Kauny Quantum Memory (KQM) method at Sanggar Belajar Muallim in Perak, Malaysia, where the majority of participants are immigrant children with limited access to formal education. The KQM method was chosen due to its effectiveness in enhancing memorization efficiency, strengthening long-term memory retention, and integrating verse comprehension through engaging movements and a fun learning approach. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research employed observation, interviews, and documentation during an international community service program. The results indicate that the KQM method significantly improved children's motivation and ability to memorize the Quran, with notable progress in memorization speed and understanding of verse meanings. Additionally, the method fostered a love for the Quran and introduced Indonesian national values through cultural activities such as national songs and traditional batik crafts. Key challenges included limited facilities and the children’s psychosocial conditions, requiring tailored teaching approaches. This study recommends the adoption of the KQM method by similar educational institutions and the development of international collaborations to expand its positive impact.

Abstract

Science education (IPA) at the elementary school level plays a crucial role in shaping students' scientific thinking and basic science skills. However, the implementation of science learning at SDN 55/I Sridadi still faces numerous challenges, particularly regarding limited infrastructure and teachers' competencies. This article aims to explore in depth the obstacles encountered by teachers in teaching science and to propose strategic solutions for improving the quality of learning. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through literature review and interviews with fifth-grade homeroom teachers at SDN 55/I Sridadi. The findings indicate that the main challenges faced by teachers are the lack of adequate facilities and the limited competency in teaching science effectively. The study recommends enhancing educational facilities and providing ongoing teacher training as concrete steps to overcome these obstacles.

Abstract

Human Herpesvirus 4 (HHV-4), also known as Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), is a member of the herpes virus family that has significant genetic variation. Molecular studies show that this variation can occur in genes that code for capsid proteins, DNA-binding proteins, and transcription-regulating proteins. In silico methods are used to determine mutations and genetic variations. The purpose of this study was to explore genetic variability in the LMP-1 HHV 4 gene sequence from NCBI PopSet 2581709082 using RFLP in silico. Restriction enzyme screening using restriction enzyme digest of DNA sites. RFLP in silico using the Benchling site. Genetic variability using the MEGA 11 application. The results obtained in silico screening of restriction enzymes and RFLP showed arelationship between PopSet 2581709082 genetic variation and HHV 4 LMP-1 genes, marked by the presence of five alleles, namely A1, A2, A3, A4, and A5.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengendalikan kecacatan produk akar tanjung dengan Seven tools. Produksi Akar Tanjung saat ini masih memiliki produk cacat dari beberapa stasiun kerja. Data frekuensi jenis produk akar tanjung memiliki 2 jenis cacat yaitu serbuk hangus sebanyak 500 Kg (68%) dan serbuk basah sebanyak 230 Kg (32%). Penyebab cacat produk berasal dari kualitas proses produksi belum berjalan secara maksimal. Hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi pada diagram scatter memiliki korelasi yang positif yaitu 0,310 karena r > 0. Pada diagram scatter menunjukkan pergerakan kearah kanan yang berate semakin banyak produksi maka semakin banyak pula jumlah kecacatan. Baik dari pengadaan bahan, maintenance mesin produksi maupun dari segi karyawannya. Dari jenis cacat serbuk hangus sebesar 68%, pada peta kendali jumlah cacat melebihi batas UCL yaitu 0,935.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide training and understanding for teachers in improving the initial reading skills of early grade students using the Silaba method. The activity was carried out at SDN 55/I Sridadi, Batanghari Regency, with the target participants being class teachers and subject teachers totaling 24 people. This activity method was carried out in several stages, the preparation stage in the form of coordination and permission, participant identification, preparation of training materials, development of evaluation instruments, and preparation of logistics and facilities. The next stage was the training implementation stage in the form of delivering theoretical materials, demonstrations and direct practice, workshops on making simple media for the Silaba method, discussions and questions and answers. The final stage was the evaluation and reporting stage in the form of analysis of evaluation data for activities that had been carried out. The results of community service activities that had been carried out at SDN 55/I Sridadi, showed that training on the use of the Silaba method to improve the initial reading skills of early grade students at SDN 55/I Sridadi provided understanding and satisfaction to teachers in efforts

Abstract

Hipertensi adalah isu kesehatan yang penting di seluruh dunia, termasuk di kalangan anak muda. Peralihan ke gaya hidup modern yang lebih maju disertai dengan kebiasaan buruk yang umum di antara remaja saat ini. Perilaku ini bisa menyebabkan terjadinya hipertensi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki lebih dalam hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dan kejadian hipertensi pada remaja di Program Studi Keperawatan Tuban Program Diploma Tiga. Penelitian ini mengambil desain korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi semua mahasiswa Program Studi Keperawatan Tuban Program Diploma Tiga tahun akademik 2024/2025, dengan total sampel sebanyak 138 remaja. Sampel diambil secara acak. Kuesioner Aktivitas Fisik Baecke digunakan sebagai alat ukur dalam penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji chi-square. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hampir seluruh remaja melakukan aktivitas fisik ringan dan tidak mengalami hipertensi. Uji potong lintang menghasilkan nilai p sebesar 0,012, yang menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dan kejadian hipertensi di kalangan remaja di Program Studi Keperawatan Tuban Program Diploma Tiga. Aktivitas fisik berhubungan dengan fluktuasi tekanan darah. Gaya hidup yang aktif memiliki risiko hipertensi yang lebih rendah, dan sebaliknya. Menjalani gaya hidup yang sehat memberikan banyak keuntungan. Dengan mengubah perilaku saat ini, kita akan mendapatkan manfatnya di kemudian hari.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: (1) students' difficulties in understanding the concept of arithmetic sequences and series, (2) students' difficulties in applying the principles of arithmetic sequences and series in solving problems, and (3) students' difficulties in finding information contained in sequences and arithmetic series questions. arithmetic series using the Make a Match learning model in class XI IPS 1 SMA NEGRI 8 Padangsidimpuan. The research carried out was qualitative research using qualitative descriptive methods. The subjects in this research were students of class XI IPS 1 SMA NEGRI 8 PADANGSIDIMPUAN. Data collection techniques by means of interviews with tests.The results of the research showed that the 4 students who were interviewed and completed the test questions found that the four students had different difficulties in solving sequence and series story questions. In understanding concepts, students who have difficulty will find it difficult to understand the concept of arithmetic sequences and series and will not be able to apply it to story problems for arithmetic sequences and series. When finding the information contained in the problem, students who experience difficulty will find it difficult to find the information and convert the mathematical information into the form of a mathematical model so they will experience difficulty in determining principles or formulas if the information contained in the story is not known beforehand.
