Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional (KE) terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis (KPMM) siswa kelas IV SD Wedarijaksa. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari fakta bahwa banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika berjenis pemecahan masalah, terutama dalam memahami konteks soal dan menentukan strategi penyelesaian yang tepat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex-post facto bersifat korelasional. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas angket KE dan tes KPMM. Angket KE disusun berdasarkan lima indikator Goleman, yakni kesadaran diri, pengendalian diri, motivasi, empati, dan keterampilan sosial, dengan total 25 butir pernyataan berskala Likert. Tes KPMM terdiri atas empat soal uraian berbasis langkah pemecahan masalah menurut Polya. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank setelah hasil uji prasyarat menunjukkan bahwa data tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan rata-rata skor KE sebesar 72,43 dan KPMM sebesar 40,19. Uji Spearman Rank menghasilkan koefisien korelasi ρ = -0,199 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,386 (p > 0,05), yang berarti tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara KE dan KPMM siswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kecerdasan emosional tidak secara langsung memengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, melainkan berperan sebagai faktor pendukung dalam mengelola emosi dan motivasi belajar. Faktor kognitif seperti kemampuan berpikir logis, strategi penyelesaian, dan latihan soal diduga memiliki pengaruh yang lebih dominan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar perlu menekankan pengembangan strategi kognitif dan pengelolaan emosi secara terpadu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa

Abstract

Purpose: Diphtheria is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Corynebacterium diphtheriae, which can lead to complications and death, but can be prevented through immunization. In Sleman, there have been no reported cases for many years. However, in 2024, several cases with symptoms of diphtheria. This triggered an epidemiological response to confirm outbreaks, identify close contacts, and implement control measures. Methods: A descriptive analysis was conducted using diphtheria registration data from the Sleman District Health Office from January to May 2024. Diphtheria suspected cases were defined as individuals or persons exhibiting symptoms of pharyngitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, or a combination of these, accompanied by fever or without fever, and the presence of a grayish-white pseudomembrane that is difficult to remove, bleeds easily when manipulated, and has been screened by the Expert Committee from the Ministry of Health Indonesia. Laboratory-confirmed diphtheria cases were defined as suspected cases with positive results. Results: An epidemiological investigation was conducted from January 23rd to May 8th 2024, which identified 21 suspected diphtheria cases. The cases were located in the Depok, Ngaglik, Tempel, Ngemplak, Kalasan, and Seyegan sub-districts. All cases underwent oropharyngeal swabs, with 3 confirmed positive and an outbreak declared. Laboratory-confirmed cases received Anti Diphtheria Serum (ADS), treatment, and isolation. Suspected cases received prophylaxis, immunization, and quarantine. Evaluation of diphtheria immunization status revealed that 66,7% of suspected cases had been immunized. Conclusions: A diphtheria outbreak has occurred in Sleman, and control measures have been well implemented. It is recommended to conduct immunization campaigns in areas with low coverage, improve community-based education related to diphtheria through training and health promotion media, and strengthen the surveillance system through regular training for surveillance officers, optimal active case finding, and timely reporting.

Abstract

Purpose: On January 18th, 2024, the Sleman District Health Office received a notification from Sleman Regional Hospital regarding the presence of 2 measles suspects in 1 family in Pakem, Sleman. This study aims to confirm the outbreak and know its management in Sleman, 2024. Method: A descriptive study was conducted based on person, place, and time. An outbreak is defined when there are 5 or more suspected measles cases within 4 consecutive weeks or at least 2 measles IgM-positive specimens with an epidemiologic link. A confirmed case was defined as a person with fever and rash, whether or not accompanied by cough, coryza, and conjunctivitis, had an epidemiologically link with index case, with confirmed positive Measles IgM. Result: We investigated 22 (15 male and 7 female) close contacts and we found 2 measles IgM-positive cases from January 18th to February 17th, 2024, in Pakem after an epidemiological investigation with an average incubation period of 8 days. 1 case each occurred in females (AR=14%) and males (AR=7%). The finding of 2 cases with measles IgM-positive and epidemiologic link allows us to declare an outbreak. One of two cases have not received MR immunization. Following the outbreak, measles cases were isolated, given antipyretics, vitamin A supplementation (dose), and Clean and Healthy Living Behaviour education. Conclusion: We confirmed a measles outbreak in Sleman. Case management has been carried out quickly to prevent and control widespread transmission. It is important to improve screening of under-five immunization status by Posyandu.

Abstract

Aging is a natural process experienced by every individual and is often accompanied by various physiological changes. One of the most noticeable changes is the decline in muscle and joint flexibility among the elderly. This condition can lead to limited mobility, reduced functional ability, and difficulties in performing daily activities such as walking, bending, or doing simple household chores. Decreased flexibility is also associated with an increased risk of falls and injuries, making it an important issue in maintaining the quality of life of older adults. This study aimed to examine the effect of flexibility management education on the elderly in Kwagean Village. The research design used was pre-experimental with a one-group pre-test post-test approach. A total of 20 elderly participants were selected purposively and attended the educational program, which was conducted after regular elderly exercise sessions. The education was delivered through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations of simple exercises that can be practiced at home to maintain muscle and joint flexibility. Data were collected using a knowledge questionnaire about flexibility and the sit-and-reach test as a measure of physical ability. The results showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 65.0 in the pre-test to 85.0 in the post-test. In addition, there was an improvement in the average flexibility score from 15.2 cm to 20.8 cm after the intervention. Statistical analysis indicated a significant difference (p<0.05), meaning that flexibility management education was proven effective. These findings suggest that education combined with physical activity can positively impact both knowledge and physical ability in the elderly. Practically, such programs can be implemented regularly at the village or community health post level to prevent functional decline. Thus, flexibility management education serves as a promotive and preventive strategy to improve the quality of life and independence of older adults in carrying out daily activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi, produk, pelayanan bank syariah terhadap minat nasabah Bank konvensional pro aktif menggunakan rekening bank syariah. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitihan ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitihan ini adalah nasabah yang mempunayai dua rekening yaitu rekening bank syariah dan bank konvensional dan yang lebih aktif menggunakan rekening bank syariah di Belitung, dan jumlah sample dilakukan secara nonprobability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Adapun data yang digunakan penelitihan ini adalah data primer dan sekunder teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara kuisioner dan google form. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh promosi, produk, pelayanan, bank syariah terhadap minat nasabah Bank konvensional pro aktif menggunakan rekening bank syariah menggunakan Uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitihan ini bahwa terdapat Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara simultan dari variabel promosi, produk, dan Pelayanan terhadap variabel minat nasbah pro aktif menggunakan bank syariah. Adapun saran dari penelitihan ini Memberikan pengetahuan promosi, produk dan pelayanan yang lebih mendalam kepada nasabah bank syariah, sehingga tidak lagi muncul kesalahan persepsi tentang perbankan syariah. Dimana bank syariah dianggap sama dengan bank konvensional.

Abstract

Pengabdian yang di lakukan di Jorong Sawah Mudik ini menggunakan metode kampanye dan pemasangan poster sekaligus sharing bahayanya narkoba. Dari kegiatan yang di lakukan dengan memasang poster tentang narkoba dan judi online, mendapat respon yang baik dari masyarakat untuk mengetahui apa itu narkoba dan judi online serta bagaimana mencegahnya. Pemasangan poster di lakukan dan di tempel di tempat-tempat yang ramai atau banyak di kunjungi atau di lewati masyarakat. Penyalahgunaan narkoba dan perjudian online merupakan dua masalah sosial yang semakin meresahkan di berbagai kalangan, terutama di kalangan remaja dan pemuda. Edukasi pencegahan terhadap kedua isu ini sangat penting untuk melindungi generasi muda dari dampak negatif yang ditimbulkannya, seperti kerusakan kesehatan fisik dan mental, gangguan sosial, hingga kerugian finansial. Artikel ini membahas pendekatan edukatif yang efektif dalam mencegah penyalahgunaan narkoba dan perjudian online, termasuk peran keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Melalui penyuluhan yang komprehensif, penggunaan media digital yang tepat, dan keterlibatan aktif dari semua pihak, diharapkan kesadaran akan bahaya narkoba dan judi online dapat meningkat, sehingga mengurangi angka kejadian penyalahgunaan di masa mendatang. Edukasi yang berkesinambungan dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi menjadi kunci utama dalam menciptakan generasi yang lebih sehat dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memiliki peran penting dalam membangun dasar perkembangan kognitif, sosial, dan motorik anak. Salah satu metode yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak adalah pembelajaran tematik, yang menghubungkan konsep pembelajaran dengan tema tertentu secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi pembelajaran tematik dengan tema kendaraan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak di RA Ya Bunayya, yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) STAIN Madina. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi observasi awal, pelaksanaan program pembelajaran interaktif seperti membuat miniatur kendaraan, bermain peran, serta evaluasi hasil pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran tematik kendaraan mampu meningkatkan keterampilan motorik, daya imajinasi, kemampuan sosial, serta antusiasme belajar anak. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran ini adalah metode yang berbasis pengalaman langsung serta peran aktif mahasiswa dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan. Namun, masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan media pembelajaran dan perbedaan kemampuan anak dalam memahami materi. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran tematik kendaraan dapat menjadi alternatif metode dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan motivasi belajar anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in student learning activeness using smart ladder props in learning mathematics addition material in elementary school. This research is a type of classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each of which is conducted 2 times a meeting. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely (1) action planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation and (4) reflection. The subjects of this research were grade II students of SDN 186/I Sridadi with 18 students. Data collection in this study was an observation sheet of student learning activeness, teacher activity sheets in each cycle in implementing learning through the application of smart ladder props and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the application of smart ladder props in learning class II mathematics can increase the learning activeness of students. The increase can be seen in the data analysis of each meeting cycle. Cycle I the level of student learning activeness occurred at 44.44%. Then there was an increase in cycle II of 88.88%. Then there was an increase in cycle II of 88.88%. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of smart ladder props using the Project Based Learning model is able to increase the learning activeness of students as seen from the percentage increase cycle from cycle I to cycle II so that overall it can be used in the learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

Fifth grade elementary school students are still unable to write observation report texts correctly in terms of text structure and title, linguistic rules and text content, so the aim of this research is to describe the skills of writing observation report texts in terms of text structure. and title, linguistic rules, and text content for fifth grade elementary school students. This research was carried out at SDN. 80/1 Km. 3 Muara Bulian from January to May 2024. Research data was collected through assignment techniques to students (as primary data) and sending questionnaires to students. After data collection, the test findings are assessed using a skills assessment instrument to produce an observation report text, which is then summarized and divided into assessment categories. This research uses a qualitative approach and uses a case study design. Participants in this research were VB SDN class students. 80/1 km 3 Muara Bulian. Research findings show that fifth grade elementary school children have adequate writing skills based on observations. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the report text production skills demonstrated by fifth grade elementary school children are sufficient.

Abstract

One of the positive cultures in SDN 002/XI Pasar Sungai Penuh that must be developed by the driving teacher in carrying out his role is a positive culture of independent learning. This study aims to determine the role of the driving teacher in fostering a positive culture of learning independence at SD Negeri 002/XI Pasar Sungai Penuh. To find out the obstacles faced by the driving teacher in fostering a positive culture of learning independence at SD Negeri 002/XI Pasar Sungai Penuh. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with the type of research, namely case studies. This research was conducted at SD 002/XI Pasar Sungai Penuh. The subjects in this study were the Principal and the driving teacher. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that 1) Teachers in SD 002/XI Pasar Sungai Penuh have a significant contribution in fostering a positive culture of learning independence. 2) To improve the effectiveness of the mobilising teachers' efforts, stronger and more equitable support from the whole school community, increased access to adequate resources, and a more flexible approach to curriculum implementation are needed. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that Master Teachers have an important role in fostering a positive culture of learning independence to improve the quality of education in schools and face a number of significant obstacles that need to be overcome.
