Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of the use of Firefly Math Media on the arithmetic skill of second-grade students at SD Negeri 55/I Sridadi. The research design used a quantitative approach involving two classes, namely class 2D as the experimental class (13 students) and class 2C as the control class (17 students). Data were collected through pre-test and post-test, then analyzed using the SPSS 29 program. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average pre-test scores of both groups were relatively comparable (42,85 and 44,13). After treatment, the average score of the experimental class increased to 58,31, while the control class was 53,00, with a difference of 5,31 points. The normality and homogeneity assumption tests showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Analysis using Mixed Design ANOVA showed that the time factor had a significant effect on students' scores. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Firefly Math Media is effective in improving students' arithmetic ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of information and communication technology-based learning media (computers / laptops, LCD projectors and internet networks) by elementary school teachers. This study uses a qualitative research approach to the type of phenomenological research. The sampling technique used was purposive sample. The main data sources in this study were Vc and 3a grade elementary school teachers no. 55/I Sridadi. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman's theory consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the teacher has used computer / laptop media, LCD projectors, and internet networks. The teacher uses the laptop as a data storage medium for learning activities such as learning pictures and videos, as a media for audio and visualization of learning materials such as pictures, learning videos, and ice breaking videos, and processing learning software programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint. Projector LCD is used to display information from images, and learning videos. Internet networks are used to find sources of information from Google or YouTube.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the benefits of using the zoom app in online learning for teachers and students in elementary schools. The type of research in this study is qualitative research with phenomenological type. The sample in this study was 8 informants, consisting of two grade v teachers and six vc grade students. Benefits for teachers include making it easier to achieve learning objectives, facilitating interaction with students, providing variations in online learning, creating active online learning, while the benefits of using zoom for students include making it easier to understand materials, improving the spirit of online learning, eliminating the boredom of online learning. The benefits felt by teachers and students have a positive impact in online learning so that it becomes more effective

Abstract

The agricultural sector in Jombang Regency serves as the backbone of the regional economy, contributing significantly to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), accounting for approximately 27.3%, valued at Rp 21.4 trillion (BPS, 2024). Nevertheless, the sector's direct contribution to Local Own-source Revenue (PAD/Pendapatan Asli Daerah) remains relatively low because most agricultural products are marketed as raw commodities with limited value addition. This research aims to analyze the agricultural sector's contribution to GRDP and PAD, identify the existing potential and constraints, and formulate optimal strategies to enhance the sector's role in local economic development. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, utilizing quantitative analysis through the Location Quotient (LQ) to identify base commodities, and qualitative analysis via in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, subsequently analyzed using the SWOT matrix. The findings indicate that the main base commodities in Jombang include rice (padi), sugarcane (tebu), and horticulture, all possessing high comparative advantage. This significant potential is supported by diverse agro-climatic conditions and the availability of productive human resources, especially young farmers. However, several structural constraints still impede optimization, including limited access to capital/financing, uneven irrigation infrastructure, weak farmer institutional capacity, and limited product quality certification. The recommended strategies include: (1) developing downstreaming (hilirisasi) of agricultural products to increase value addition; (2) strengthening farmer institutions through professional cooperatives; (3) implementing modern agricultural innovation and technology; and (4) establishing an integrated agropolitan area that connects with MSMEs, tourism, and export markets. Implementation of these strategies is projected to boost PAD by approximately Rp 80–100 billion annually, create new job opportunities, and strengthen regional fiscal independence. Thus, reinforcing the agricultural sector in Jombang Regency not only implies improving farmer welfare but also serves as a strategic instrument for the local government in building a competitive, inclusive, and sustainable local economy.

Abstract

This study aims to develop augmented reality (AR)-based flashcard learning media on Solar System material for sixth grade elementary school students. The development was carried out using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. During the analysis stage, it was found that students needed interactive visual media and that the school had facilities that supported the use of AR. The design stage produced 15 flashcards equipped with QR markers to display augmented reality 3D objects, which were packaged in a special box so that the media was neatly arranged, easy to store, and practical for use by students and teachers. The developed media was then validated by subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts with results of 93.3%, 90%, and 100%, respectively, making it highly valid. Furthermore, a practicality test was conducted through a teacher questionnaire with a score of 97.33% and a student questionnaire through small group trials (92.75%) and large group trials (97%), all of which showed a very practical category. The evaluation stage was carried out continuously to ensure the suitability of the media with the learning objectives and student needs. The final results of the study showed that augmented reality-based flashcards were feasible and practical for use in science learning. This media can be further developed by adding object variations and integrating it into science material. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran flashcard berbasis augmented reality (AR) pada materi Sistem Tata Surya untuk siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar. Pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap analisis ditemukan bahwa siswa membutuhkan media visual interaktif dan sekolah memiliki fasilitas yang mendukung penggunaan AR. Tahap desain menghasilkan 15 kartu flashcard yang dilengkapi QR marker sebagai penanda untuk menampilkan objek 3D augmented reality, serta dikemas dalam sebuah box khusus agar media tersusun rapi, mudah disimpan, dan praktis digunakan oleh siswa maupun guru. Media yang telah dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa dengan hasil masing-masing sebesar 93,3%, 90%, dan 100%, sehingga masuk kategori sangat valid. Selanjutnya uji kepraktisan dilakukan melalui angket guru dengan perolehan skor 97,33% dan angket siswa melalui uji coba kelompok kecil (92,75%) serta kelompok besar (97%), yang seluruhnya menunjukkan kategori sangat praktis. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan secara berkelanjutan untuk memastikan kesesuaian media dengan tujuan pembelajaran dan kebutuhan siswa. Hasil akhir penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media flashcard berbasis augmented reality dinyatakan layak dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA. Media ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan penambahan variasi objek maupun integrasi pada materi IPA lainnya.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the need for IPAS (Science and Social Sciences) learning that provides concrete learning experiences, particularly for metamorphosis material, which is abstract and difficult for third-grade elementary students to visualize. Initial observations at SDN 111/1 Muara Bulian showed that teachers still rely on conventional media such as textbooks and static images, causing students to struggle in understanding the stages of metamorphosis in sequence. The purpose of this research is to develop an Augmented Reality–based Metamorphosis Diorama (DIMETA-AR) as an innovative learning solution capable of presenting interactive 3D objects that are more concrete, engaging, and aligned with the characteristics of Phase B learners. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, consisting of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The media was developed using Canva for the physical diorama design and Assemblr EDU for creating 3D AR-based objects. Product validity was assessed by material experts, media experts, and language experts, while practicality was evaluated by teachers and students through questionnaires. The results of the study show that DIMETA-AR obtained a very high level of validity, achieving 97.5% from the material expert and the category of “very valid” from both the media and language experts. Practicality tests also indicate that the media was rated as “very practical” by teachers and students, with responses demonstrating that AR helped them understand metamorphosis more clearly and attractively. DIMETA-AR has been proven to enhance student engagement, encourage exploratory activities, and facilitate interactive, student-centered IPAS learning in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. Therefore, this media is appropriate for use in elementary science learning and has the potential to be further developed for other IPAS topics. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan pembelajaran IPAS yang menuntut pengalaman belajar konkret, terutama pada materi metamorfosis yang bersifat abstrak dan sulit divisualisasikan oleh peserta didik kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Observasi awal di SDN 111/1 Muara Bulian menunjukkan bahwa guru masih mengandalkan media konvensional berupa buku teks dan gambar statis sehingga siswa kesulitan memahami tahapan metamorfosis secara runtut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media Diorama Metamorfosis berbasis Augmented Reality (DIMETA-AR) sebagai solusi pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu menghadirkan objek 3D interaktif sehingga lebih konkret, menarik, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik fase B. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri atas tahap Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Media dikembangkan menggunakan Canva untuk desain diorama fisik dan Assembler EDU untuk pembuatan objek 3D berbasis AR. Validitas produk dinilai oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa, sementara kepraktisan dinilai oleh guru dan siswa melalui angket. Hasil uji kepraktisan juga menunjukkan bahwa media dinilai “sangat praktis” oleh guru dan peserta didik, dengan respon yang menunjukkan bahwa AR membantu mereka memahami metamorfosis secara lebih jelas dan menarik. Media DIMETA-AR terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, mendorong aktivitas eksploratif, serta menghadirkan pembelajaran IPAS yang interaktif dan berpusat pada siswa sesuai prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Dengan demikian, media ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran sains di sekolah dasar dan berpotensi dikembangkan untuk materi IPAS lainnya

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a STEM-based Independent Workbook for Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning for fourth-grade elementary school students. The development was driven by the limited availability of innovative instructional materials, variations in students’ learning abilities, and the insufficient integration of the STEM approach in IPAS instruction. The study applied a Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The analysis phase revealed that students encountered difficulties in comprehending IPAS content when learning relied solely on textbooks and conventional worksheets. In response, the independent workbook was developed with contextual material presentation, engaging layouts, and a variety of exploratory activities, exercises, and STEM-oriented tasks aimed at fostering learner autonomy and critical thinking skills. Validation results indicated an average score of 3.36 from media experts (fairly valid), 4.16 from content experts (valid), and 4.92 from language experts (very valid). Practicality testing showed that teacher responses reached an average score of 4.45, categorized as very practical, while student responses in large-scale trials achieved an average score of 4.81, also classified as very practical. These findings suggest that the STEM-based Independent Workbook is appropriate for use as a supplementary learning resource in elementary IPAS instruction, as it effectively supports students’ independence, engagement, and conceptual understanding. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan Buku Kerja Mandiri berbasis STEM yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) bagi peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar. Pengembangan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan bahan ajar yang variatif dan inovatif, heterogenitas kemampuan belajar siswa, serta penerapan pendekatan STEM yang belum terintegrasi secara optimal dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, penerapan, dan evaluasi. Hasil tahap analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku paket dan LKS konvensional belum sepenuhnya membantu siswa dalam memahami materi IPAS. Oleh karena itu, buku kerja mandiri dirancang dengan tampilan yang menarik, materi kontekstual, serta dilengkapi aktivitas eksploratif, latihan, dan tugas berbasis STEM untuk menumbuhkan kemandirian belajar serta kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil validasi menunjukkan skor rata-rata sebesar 3,36 dari ahli media dengan kategori cukup valid, 4,16 dari ahli materi dengan kategori valid, dan 4,92 dari ahli bahasa dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji kepraktisan menunjukkan respon guru memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,45 dengan kategori sangat praktis, sedangkan respon siswa pada uji coba kelompok besar mencapai skor rata-rata 4,81 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, buku kerja mandiri berbasis STEM dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pendukung pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar karena mampu meningkatkan kemandirian, minat belajar, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and examine the validity of picture card learning media integrated with Augmented Reality (AR) technology for Grade III elementary IPAS instruction, particularly on the topic of life cycles of living organisms. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the DDD-E (Decide, Design, Develop, Evaluate) model, with the implementation limited to the develop stage as the primary focus was product validity testing. The learning media were designed in the form of printed picture cards measuring 8 × 12 cm, created using the Canva application and integrated with three-dimensional AR content developed through the Assemblr EDU platform, accessed via QR codes. The validation process involved three experts, namely content, language, and media specialists, using a Likert-scale questionnaire as the assessment instrument. The results indicated that the developed media achieved a very high validity level across all evaluation aspects, with an average validity score of 90.9%. These findings demonstrate that the AR-integrated picture card media meet feasibility standards in terms of content accuracy, language clarity, and media design and functionality. Therefore, the developed media are suitable to be used as an alternative instructional resource for Grade III IPAS learning. However, further studies are recommended to examine the practicality and effectiveness of the media in real classroom implementation. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model DDD-E (Decide, Design, Develop, Evaluate), yang pelaksanaannya dibatasi hingga tahap develop karena fokus penelitian diarahkan pada uji validitas produk. Media dikembangkan dalam bentuk kartu cetak berukuran 8 × 12 cm yang dirancang menggunakan aplikasi Canva dan dipadukan dengan konten AR berbasis tiga dimensi melalui platform Assemblr EDU yang diakses menggunakan QR code. Proses validasi melibatkan tiga validator, yaitu ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media, dengan instrumen penilaian berupa angket skala Likert. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh kategori sangat valid pada seluruh aspek penilaian, dengan rata-rata tingkat kevalidan sebesar 90,9%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media kartu bergambar terintegrasi AR telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dari segi isi, kebahasaan, serta desain dan fungsionalitas media. Dengan demikian, media yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran IPAS kelas III, meskipun diperlukan penelitian lanjutan untuk menguji kepraktisan dan efektivitasnya dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Technological Development have shaped students' learning patterns to be closer to digital devices, but IPAS learning in fourth grade elementary school still requires media that can provide concrete visualizations so that the material is easier to understand. This condition encourages the Development of more interactive learning media, one of which is through the use of augmented reality (AR)-based flipbooks that can display three-dimensional (3D) objects to help students understand concepts more realistically. This study aims to describe the validity level of augmented reality (AR)-based flipbook media in teaching and learning the Five Senses material for fourth-grade elementary school students. The research used Research and Development (R&D) approach with a DDDE (Decide, Design, Development, and Evaluate) Development flow. The scope of the research was limited to the Development stage, namely the feasibility assessment process through validation by experts, so that it was not continued to small or large group trials. The Decide stage focused on identifying needs and determining the direction of media Development. The Design stage included the preparation of the flipbook content and appearance Design, the arrangement of material according to learning objectives, and the placement of markers that function to bring up 3D object visualizations through AR. The Development stage produced an AR-based flipbook product which was then assessed by expert validators. The validation results showed a percentage of 97.78 % in terms of material, 98% in terms of language, and 83.33% in terms of media. Based on these results, the media Developed was declared very feasible for use according to the validator's assessment as an alternative IPAS learning media for the Five Senses material in elementary school. ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi membentuk pola belajar peserta didik yang semakin dekat dengan perangkat digital, tetapi pembelajaran IPAS di kelas IV sekolah dasar masih membutuhkan media yang mampu menghadirkan visualisasi konkret agar materi lebih mudah dipahami. Kondisi ini mendorong pengembangan media pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan flipbook berbasis augmented reality (AR) yang dapat menampilkan objek tiga dimensi (3D) sehingga membantu siswa memahami konsep secara lebih nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tingkat validitas media flipbook berbasis augmented reality (AR) pada pembelajaran IPAS materi Panca Indra untuk siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan alur pengembangan DDDE (Decide, Design, Development, dan Evaluate). Ruang lingkup penelitian dibatasi hingga tahap Development, yaitu pada proses penilaian kelayakan melalui validasi oleh para ahli, sehingga tidak dilanjutkan pada uji coba kelompok kecil maupun kelompok besar. Tahap Decide difokuskan pada identifikasi kebutuhan dan penetapan arah pengembangan media. Tahap Design mencakup penyusunan rancangan isi dan tampilan flipbook, penataan materi sesuai tujuan pembelajaran, serta penempatan penanda (marker) yang berfungsi memunculkan visualisasi objek 3D melalui AR. Tahap Development menghasilkan produk flipbook berbasis AR yang selanjutnya dinilai oleh validator ahli. Hasil validasi menunjukkan persentase 97,78% pada aspek materi, 98% pada aspek bahasa, dan 83,33% pada aspek media. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan menurut penilaian validator sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran IPAS pada materi Panca Indra di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the absence of a contextual teaching module that is responsive to the cultural diversity of students in IPAS learning at SDN 111/I Muara Bulian. Teachers still rely on generic online modules, resulting in learning activities that are less relevant to students’ local cultural experiences. This research focuses on the development, validity, and practicality of a teaching module based on the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach for the Grade V topic “Daerahku Kebanggaanku.” The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model consisting of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Validation was carried out by media, material, and language experts, while practicality data were obtained from teacher responses and implementation trials. The results indicate that media validation increased from 79.2% to 88% (highly valid), material validation rose from 66.25% to 93.75% (highly valid), and language validation reached 94% (highly valid). The overall average validity score was 91.92%, classified as highly valid. Implementation through small-group trials (8 students) and large-group trials (23 students) showed that students were able to connect the learning content with their local cultural context. The module’s practicality received a score of 95% from the teacher (highly practical). Thus, the CRT-based teaching module is considered valid, practical, and suitable for supporting contextual IPAS learning that centers on students’ cultural diversity. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum tersedianya modul ajar yang kontekstual dan responsif terhadap keberagaman budaya peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS di SDN 111/I Muara Bulian. Guru masih menggunakan modul daring bersifat umum sehingga pembelajaran kurang relevan dengan pengalaman budaya lokal peserta didik. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan, validitas, serta kepraktisan modul ajar berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) pada materi “Daerahku Kebanggaanku” kelas V SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa, sementara kepraktisan diperoleh melalui respons guru dan pelaksanaan uji coba. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa aspek media mengalami peningkatan dari 79,2% menjadi 88% (sangat valid), validasi materi naik dari 66,25% menjadi 93,75% (sangat valid), dan validasi bahasa memperoleh skor 94% (sangat valid). Rata-rata keseluruhan validitas sebesar 91,92% dengan kategori sangat valid. Tahap implementasi melalui uji coba kelompok kecil (8 siswa) dan kelompok besar (23 siswa) menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik mampu mengaitkan materi dengan budaya daerahnya. Kepraktisan modul memperoleh skor 95% dari guru (sangat praktis). Dengan demikian, modul ajar berbasis pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan layak digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran IPAS yang kontekstual dan berpusat pada keberagaman budaya peserta didik.
