Abstract

The Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test is frequently used to evaluate VO2max and is crucial for determining an athlete's physical condition. However, its effectiveness in accurately assessing the physical condition of football players remains limited. This study aims to analyze the level of the physical condition of football players' VO2max which will be used as evaluation material for designing training programs so that the pattern of coaching becomes focused and produces achievements. This research used a quantitative approach to the survey method. The subjects of this study were Pusaka FC football club athletes, the sampling technique used total sampling so that all athletes were a sample of 23 players. The test instrument used the Yo-Yo Intermitten Recovery Test level 2. Data analysis used descriptive percentages, with the assistanceof the Microsoft Excel 2019 software application. The results of the study show that the VO2max level value in soccer athletes is 13.04% of athletes in the poor category and 34.78% in the good category. Below average, 47.82% shows the average category, and there is only 4.35%, which shows the value of the good category. Based on the results of the VO2max ability test, the average classification of Club Pusaka FC players is still relatively low. However, it is necessary to know that the limitations of this study lie in the condition of the players' nutritional intake which has not been controlled and their age which must also be taken into consideration by researchers. Furthermore, it can find information on the effect of athlete nutrition on endurance ability.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the impact and potential of innovation and quality improvement in teaching curved-surface solid geometry for junior secondary school students. This study employs a qualitative approach using Didactical Design Research (DDR) to capture classroom realities, with retrospective analysis guiding the interpretation of findings. Data were collected through questionnaires, tests, documentation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions. The results show that students’ knowledge acquisition is supported by three key aspects: independent exploration, the use of technology, and a coherent learning trajectory. The implemented didactical design demonstrates several strengths but also areas for improvement. Technology effectively enhances concept visualization, student participation, and understanding. However, limitations remain in the clarity of task instructions, the precision of anticipating students’ learning obstacles, and the alignment of technology use with learning objectives. Reflection and evaluation of the implementation inform revisions to the didactical design, leading to a more effective, structured, and student-centered learning approach that better meets classroom needs.

Abstract

This study examines the process of external didactic transposition in linear regression material, namely the transformation of scholarly knowledge into knowledge to be taught. This transposition is important to ensure that knowledge that is complex and tends to be abstract for students can be accessed and easily understood, especially in the context of linear regression so that it can develop students' statistical literacy. The research method was conducted with a document study by analysing primary books on statistics, reference guidelines for the preparation of mathematics textbooks, and educational curriculum documents in Indonesia. The results of the study showed that the knowledge adaptations that have been identified are the meaning of dependent and independent variables, the concept of linear regression, the concept of best fit line, linear regression equation model, and random error. Although there are knowledge adaptations that facilitate understanding for students, there are also limitations in the presentation of random error distribution assumptions in the knowledge to be taught. The contribution of this research is an understanding of the construction of statistical knowledge presented in the educational context and the strengthening of materials that can develop students' statistical literacy.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: konsep turunan, learning obstacle, transposisi Didaktik,   Abstract This study aims to analyze the internal and external didactic transposition of the concept of derivative functions in high school students. This research is a qualitative study which is the initial study of a series of didactic design research (DDR) processes. This didactic transposition research is part of the first stage in the DDR research, namely prospective analysis, namely 1) analysis of grade XII mathematics textbooks in the form of textbook praxeology analysis and 2) analysis of didactic situations in the form of interview results with teachers and analysis of student notebooks in the form of teacher didactic praxeology analysis. The results of the study indicate that both textbooks and the didactic situation of teacher learning are not systematic because the presentation of knowledge in both is not in accordance with the sequence of presentation of knowledge in scientific knowledge mathematics books and is not epistemic because students are not directly involved in constructing their own knowledge to obtain knowledge that is justified true belief so that it has the potential to make students experience learning obstacles (LO), both epistemic LO, ontogenic LO, and didactic LO. This study is expected to contribute to expanding the study of didactic transposition in school calculus material that has the potential to cause learning obstacles in students and its continuation is used as a reference in designing new didactic designs on function derivative material in high school. Keywords: derivative concept, didactic Transposition,, learning obstacle.

Abstract

Textbooks are essential instruments in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, serving as a bridge between curriculum policy and classroom practices. However, didactic challenges often arise when the presentation of material becomes confined to mechanical procedures rather than fostering deep conceptual understanding, particularly in fractions, which are highly abstract for elementary students. This study aims to analyze Grade V mathematics textbooks under the Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on fractions, through a praxeological lens. The analysis applies the four components of praxeology, task type (T), technique (τ), technology (θ), and theory (Θ), to evaluate the extent to which textbooks support effective learning. Using qualitative document analysis, data were drawn from the 2022 Grade V Mathematics Textbook published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, with attention to the relationship between the praxis block (tasks and techniques) and the logos block (technology and theory). Findings reveal that although the textbook integrates visual approaches and real-world contexts (such as local culture), procedural aspects remain dominant. A praxeological paradox was identified by visual illustrations often serve merely as technical justification (technology) without sufficient conceptual exploration (theory). Moreover, the limited variety of representations and rigid techniques in mixed operations risk reinforcing natural number bias and creating learning obstacles. The structure of fraction material in the textbook tends to prioritize procedural-mechanical aspects over independent conceptual exploration. More flexible and holistic instructional designs in textbooks are needed to reduce individual-instructional learning and to foster students' ability to generalize concepts to a broader mathematical domain.
