Abstract

Pasak terbuat dari baja lunak (mild steel), berfungsi sebagai pengunci yang disisipkan diantara poros dan propeller agar keduanya tersambung dengan pasti sehingga mampu meneruskan momen puntir/torsi, oleh sebab kajian teknis tentang besarnya gaya, torsi dan tegangan diperlukan dalam memprediksi kekuatan dan umur pakai pasak tersebut. Untuk mendapatkan kekuatan pasak dan umur pakai pasak tersebut dilakukan analisa pada proses uji self propulsion dimana variabel yang dipilih adalah putaran mesin yang merupakan parameter sangat berpengaruh terhadap perubahan gaya, torsi dan tegangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk proses uji self propulsion Kapal Patroli Cepat 60 meter, pada putaran mesin 2813 rpm dan 3043 rpm pasak beroperasi pada kondisi normal, sedangkan pada putaran mesin 1213 rpm pasak beroperasi pada kondisi ektrim dimana torsi yang timbul 43 Nm sehingga gaya yang dipikul oleh pasak 8601 N, menghasilkan tegangan sebesar 44.2 Ksi dan umur pakai pasak 70 hari operasional pasak atau 3.5 bulan kalender.

Abstract

Dalam menentukan sudut puncak  mata bor dituntut keseragaman sisi-sisi potong dan besarnya sudut yang dibentuk pada ujung mata bor yang sesuai  dengan sudut-sudut  mata bor.  Pembentukan mata bor, pada sudut puncak mata bor yaitu untuk mendapatkan ketajaman mata potong. Dari dasar tersebut maka, sudut-sudut mata bor  berguna untuk menentukan sudut yang sesuai dengan tujuan menghasilkan benda kerja (strut) dengan nilai tingkat kehalusan dan presisi. Jadi hasil dari pembentukan sudut puncak  mata bor,  maka sudut puncak mata bor harus simetris untuk mendapatkan lubang strut benar benar bulat

Abstract

Proses pembubutan dalam pembuatan poros model baling ? baling kapal merupakan pekerjaan yang rutin dilakukan di UPT ? BPPH. Pekerjaan utama dalam  proses ini memerlukan  penggunaan pahat mata potong standar ( Hight Speed Steel ),  oleh sebab itu kajian teknis  tentang  besarnya gaya pemotongan sangat diperlukan dalam  memprediksi umur  pakai mata pahat tersebut. Untuk mendapatkan umur pakai dari mata pahat tersebut  dilakukan  analisa pada proses pemotongan dengan menggunakan pahat mata potong standar (HSS/AISI 1020) dimana  variabel yang dipilih dalam proses pemesinan ini berupa  putaran mesin yang merupakan parameter sangat berpengaruh terhadap perubahan gaya,torsi dan tegangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa  untuk proses perautan pada  putaran mesin 300 rpm dan 400 rpm mata pahat beroperasi pada kondisi normal sedangkan pada  putaran mesin 500 rpm mata pahat beroperasi pada kondisi ekstrim dimana  tegangan yang dihasilkan sebesar  31,5 Ksi dan umur pakai  pahat 139 hari  operasional pahat bubut atau 6,3 bulan kalender

Abstract

Ketoprak dor is a performing art that lives and develops in North Sumatra. Its appearance began with the sending of Javanese as contract workers for tea plantations. The transmigration of the kuli kontrak formed a new layer of society with the participation of existing social and cultural growth. They did their Javanese activities as usual before being sent as contract coolies, including throwing parties. From this party, there was a desire to make a ketoprak performance. This show is called the ketoprak dor. Based on this, the author conducted a ketoprak dor study in 2009 and 2012 using a semiotic approach by Morris (Zaimar, 2008). The author's semiotic review is done to facilitate the tracking of history and description of the ketoprak dor in North Sumatra Province. From the research that the authors did mention the ketoprak dor is almost extinct swallowed by the times. In fact, the ketoprak dor is actually no longer only owned by Javanese people, but has become the property of Deli Malays. Adapting Javanese people plus Malays who want to accept openness is a big capital of this cultural hybrid process.

Abstract

In the case of the exploration on renewal energy sources and non fossil energy sources, the writer hasmade a concept of development method in using sea wave for electrical plant as an effort to develop theelectrical plant system by using renewal energy sources. This system uses pontoon to press the sea waterinto tanks, then the generated pressure is used to move turbine. Cylinder pontoon may be floated byproducing maximum heave at the type weight = 0,65. At this type weight surge and pitching movement cannot be reduced until zero, however it may reduces the other movements like rolling and translating, namelyby: DL < 0,615H and DL < 0,175λ, the buoyancy value is 75,4% from its diameter sink in the water or thevolume buoyancy of the floated part that is 15% from the total volume of cylinder. The energy that may beboosted depends on the pontoon's weight which can be pulled by one way of wave, amplitude, and naturalperiod of the wave. The research gives method of electrical energy and estimation and boosting boosted byone way of wave. The result of energy estimation which can be boosted for wave length is 1,20 m and waveheight is 0,50 meter, the energy that can be boosted is 0,02Kw, for wave length 4,00 meter and wave height2,00 meter, the energy that can be boosted is 23,06Kw for wave length 4,00 meter and wave height 8,00meter the energy that can be boosted is 737,89Kw.

Abstract

Since Presidential decree No 5 2005 on the empowerment of the Indonesian shipping industry applies, theIndonesian shipbuilding industry has officially gained support from the Indonesian government to be able tocompete in the national as well as international market. Along with the globalization era and a lot ofshipbuilding orders, the shipyard management has to do some improvement to the shipyard to be morecompetitive. One of efforts that should be done is by improving the management of incoming orders. This isvery important to do because during this time the shipyard management has to collect a lot of informationfrom departments in the shipyard manually to consider accepted shipbuilding orders.In this paper, a new model to manage new shipbuilding orders is developed. The model is implementedwithin a computer-based decision support system that is related to an existing system of production, planningand control in the shipyard. The approach used in the development of this system is ROMC (Representation,Operation, Memory Aids and Control Mechanism).The aim of the developed decision support system is to assist all decision makers in defining problems,developing alternative solution; , and chosing various alternative decisions in the system development thereare three steps to be done : (i) building data base, (ii) building model base, and (iii) building dialogue base

Abstract

Suyadi, An under sea pipe connection (girth weld) is an area that possibly will get defect. This weld defects have a potential for causing tension concentration, so that there will be preliminary crack. This crack will spread due to cyclic loads received by the structure. This final assignment research is performed for evaluating mechanical integrity and girth weld having weld defect using method of Failure Analysis Diagram (FAD) and it takes a sample of case for South Sumatra West Java pipe belongs to PGN Co.Ltd. FAD is a method, which is good enough for evaluating the integrity of pipe structure having crack like flaw upon the weld. FAD divides two areas, namely safe area and unsafe area constructed by two axis, namely x axis that is stress ratio (Lr) and y axis that is stress intensity ratio (Kr). Stress ratio (Lr) is a ratio between a ref and a yield, mean while stress intensity ratio (Kr) is a ratio (stress intensity factor) between Kl and KIC (fracture toughness material). ANSYS 8.0 software is used for modeling by considering that the defect is in the form of semi elliptic with a/2c variation, that is 0,0469; 0,0938; 0,01406; and 0,1750. The loading upon the pipe is considered as the minimum loading (pull = 8284.25 psi), medium (pull = 41421.25 psi) and maximum (pull = 82842.5 psi). From the analysis result, it is obtained that crack dimension with a/2c 0.175 is not safe upon minimum and medium loading, mean while upon the maximum loading condition, all modeled cracks dimensions cause the pipe is not safe. Abstract

Abstract on the harcening process of K 460 steel, austenite temperature and holding time plays very important roles in influencing the result of hardening. In this research, austenite tenrperature variatiorrs are 755oc, 770 oc,785oc. 8l5oc, and 840oc with holding time of 5'30',60' and 120'. Then research result indicates that on 755oc. variation of the holding time produce high increase of hardness. For the others temperature need 30' to reach homogeny phase and more 30' holding time make the hardness relative constant. Meanwhile, the impact strength would be varied caused by intemal stress and residual austenite. For statistical analysis with 99oc accuracy, it's found that the effect-of temperature and holding time and it's both interactions make the number of hardness and the impact strength grow significantly.   Key words : hardening, temperature austenite, holding time

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss a sacred and a transcendence tradition of ngrowot at PPLQ in the perspective of a medic and a scientific neuroscience. All of data that was correlated with the ngrowot tradition was categorized empirically and scientifically, and then it was analyzed through neuroplasticity theory explaining the brain that can be transformed by behavioral changes. The result of this study explained that the philosophy of ngrowot is theology and food sovereignty. In the modern era, ngrowot becomes a healthy lifestyle for some elite that is called as the “healthy diet”. This research develops food theology in terms of Islamic educational neuroscience into theology of intelligence and the sovereignty of thinking. The theology of intelligence makes ngrowot as tirakat during the learning process in order to get barokah in terms of the intelligence aspects, and get the benefits in the world and the hereafter. The sovereignty of thinking makes ngrowot as laku prihatin so a salafist’s intelligence of ngrowot cannot be easily interrupted by the secular idea that is not appropriate with Islamic spiritual teachings. The behavioral changes of ngrowot believers also implicate to the structure of neuron in the mind. So, ngrowot can be an educational character method, and in the same time, it also develops the intelligence of ngrowot believera in any dimensions.

Abstract

The effort to implement Islamic values in the learning process of early childhood education has resulted in various practices. Many foundations, mass organizations, religious, and even political organizations participate in establishing education institutions for early childhood education (PAUD). For instance, Muhammadiyah establishes ABA Nursery School, NU establishes Raudhatul ‘Athfal (RA), private foundations establish their own nursery schools (such as Tunas Melati Nursary School, etc.), as well as what Justice and Welfare Party (PKS) establishes, i.e. Islam-integrated educations institutions of nursery schools. All of the varieties are done to insert Islamic values to the learning process, which is considered to be better. However, the practice of inserting Islamic values in early childhood education is often trapped in two basic practices, i.e. the use of religious symbols and cognitive aspects of religion. To anticipate that condition, this article is trying to formulate a diffusion of innovation in implementing Islamic values in the learning process in early childhood education integratedly and interconnectedly. This means that teaching religion includes not only religious knowledge but also science in the perspective of religion. To formulate the diffusion of innovation, this article applied Michael Fullan’s theory of change as found in his book entitled The Meaning of Education Change and Roger’s adoption pattern. Based on the theories, this article suggests a new formula of developing early childhood education in the future, especially for nursery schools.
