Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the economic independence of the Tengger Tribe through strengthening Islamic financial literacy and portable digital marketing skills. The program was conducted as an international collaboration between Indonesian universities that are members of APSKPS and Malaysian universities, namely Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving the community actively in each stage of the program, from planning to implementation and evaluation. The results indicate an increased understanding among participants regarding Islamic financial principles, including contracts such as mudharabah, musyarakah, and murabahah, as well as the application of simple financial record-keeping in small enterprises. Moreover, the portable marketing training encouraged local entrepreneurs to utilize digital platforms such as WhatsApp Business and Instagram to promote Tengger’s local products to a broader market. This program successfully fostered cross-country academic collaboration and demonstrated that the synergy between education, Islamic values, and digital technology can serve as an effective strategy in developing an equitable and competitive indigenous economy.

Abstract

Ulasan yang ditulis oleh pengguna di Google Play Store dapat sangat membantu untuk mengetahui bagaimana masyarakat menerima aplikasi. Dalam penelitian ini, kami menggunakan metode pemrosesan bahasa natural (NLP) untuk melihat bagaimana pengguna melihat aplikasi DeepSeek. Metode scraping dari Play Store digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data, yang kemudian dibersihkan dan diproses melalui proses normalisasi teks, tokenisasi, penghapusan stopword, dan stemming. Selanjutnya, kami mengklasifikasikan ulasan menjadi dua kelompok besar, yaitu ulasan positif dan negatif, menggunakan algoritma Naive Bayes. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar ulasan bersifat positif, dengan beberapa kritik yang terkait dengan bug atau kinerja aplikasi. Studi ini menunjukkan bagaimana teknik pemrosesan bahasa natural dapat digunakan untuk menggali wawasan secara otomatis dan efektif dari data ulasan.

Abstract

This study analyzes digital financial inclusion practices in Islamic boarding schools, examining challenges and socioeconomic impacts on students. The research addresses the literature gap regarding digital financial service implementation in Islamic educational institutions and their effectiveness in promoting financial literacy among student communities. A qualitative approach was employed with two Islamic boarding schools: Pondok Pesantren Puncak Darussalam and Pondok Pesantren Al Amien Prenduen. Data collection involved comprehensive in-depth interviews, direct observations, and extensive documentation, analyzed through systematic data reduction and triangulation methods to ensure validity and reliability of findings. Digital financial inclusion significantly facilitates financial transactions, enhances student financial literacy, and reduces cash dependency among student. However, limited technological infrastructure and low parental financial literacy present substantial implementation challenges requiring attention. The positive socioeconomic impact manifests through improved student financial literacy, encouraging wiser financial management practices that can foster greater economic independence for future sustainability.

Abstract

The current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has entered the New Normal Era, has harmed education in the form of learning loss. This research examines of e-learning implementation to deal with learning loss in Islamic Education (PAI) subjects at al Ma’arif Junior High in Jombang Jember. This research applies a qualitative approach with study case type and analyzes data through the interactive technique of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. This research concludes some states that e-learning implementation at al Ma’arif Junior High in Jombang Jember to deal with learning loss focuses on two things. First, upgrading the learning technology of al Ma’arif Junior High in Jombang Jember is centered on maximizing school web role. Second, increasing students learning motivation to follow the e-learning process that implemented by al Ma’arif Junior High in Jombang Jember. The Efforts to implement e-learning can be considered as one of the solution options that can be carried out by educational institutions to deal with the phenomenon of learning loss during the New Normal Era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing Generation Z’s interest in using BYOND for BSI digital banking services, selecting ease of use, security, and service features as independent variables. The researcher used a quantitative approach, conducting a purposive survey of 120 BSI customers in Pamekasan. Data analysis used SPSS version 24 to test validity and reliability, assess classical assumptions, perform multiple linear regression, and test hypotheses. The results showed that ease of use and security had a positive, significant effect on Generation Z’s interest, while service features had no significant partial effect. The regression model explains a significant amount of variation in interest. Theoretically, this study integrates the UTAUT and TAM models in Islamic digital banking for Generation Z, highlighting service features as minimum expectations. The practical implications recommend that BSI improve its UI/UX, security, and innovative features. The limitations of this study include its local scope and low R-squared, and it offers suggestions for broader follow-up research.

Abstract

This study aims to improve children's sportsmanship through healthy competition and teamwork. The methods employed were observation and administering questionnaires to participants. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach to measure improvements in children's sportsmanship after participating in a mini-soccer tournament between elementary and Islamic elementary schools (SD/MI). The results showed an increase in sportsmanship attitudes, such as honesty, mutual respect, and emotional control. This tournament was effective as a learning medium for children's sportsmanship values. In conclusion, the mini-soccer tournament between elementary and Islamic elementary schools (SD/MI) in Jembangan Village, Banjarnegara, was effective in improving children's sportsmanship attitudes, such as honesty, mutual respect, and emotional control. Abstract

Lack of information media about Madurese batik Causes low awareness of younger generation to maintain the production of Madurese batik. Actually, Madurese Batik also has a high philosophy, which the motif and colour reflect the character of the Madurese. Madurese Batik has useful motif as a mean of traditional communication in the form of certain cultural symbols. We collected images of Madurese Batik by identifying the impression of Madurese Batik motif taken from several literature books of Madurese Batik and also the results of observation of experts or craftsmen who understand about Madurese Batik. This research proposed a new approach to create on application which can identify Madurese Batik impression by using 3D-CVQ feature extraction methods to extract color features, and used Hu Moment Invariant for feature feature extraction. Application searching of Madurese Batik image has two ways of searching, those are based on the image input Madurese Batik and based on the input of impression Madurese batik. We use 202 madurese batik motifs and use search techniques based on colors, shapes and aggregations (color and shape combinations).  Performance results using based on image queries used: (1) based on color, the average precision 90%, (2) based on shape, the average precision 85%, (3) based on aggregation, the average precision 80%, the conclusion is the color as the best feature in image query. While the performance results using based on the impression query are:  (1) based on color, the average value of true 6.7, total score 40.3, (2) based on shape, the average value of true 4.1, total score 24.1, and (3) based on the aggregation, the average value of true 2.5, the total score is 13.8, the conclusion is the color as the best feature in impression query.

Abstract

The development of digitalization needs in the world of education is increasingly rapid, accompanied by the growing needs of schools that require prospective teachers to possess the skills to utilize internet-integrated learning. This study aims to explore the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in contextual science learning for pre-service science teachers. This study uses a descriptive case study approach with a mixed-methods design (quantitative and qualitative). Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations involving 46 pre-service science teachers. The findings show that the use of IoT strengthens the understanding of scientific concepts, increases student engagement, and supports critical thinking skills. However, some technical challenges were encountered during the initial implementation phase, such as difficulties in operating the devices. The implications of this study highlight the need for enhanced technical training for pre-service teachers and the provision of adequate infrastructure. The conclusion of this study is that the integration of IoT in science learning has a positive impact on the quality of education and prepares pre-service teachers to optimize technology in their pedagogical practices in the future.

Abstract

Salah satu kebijakan dari pemerintah Indonesia untuk menciptakan lansia yang sehat, mandiri, dan produktif adalah Posyandu. Rendahnya angka kunjungan lansia ke Posyandu selama masa pandemi Covid-19 menjadi perhatian utama yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor pendukung. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan sebuah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mendukung tingkat kepatuhan lansia dalam berpartisipasi di Posyandu lansia pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Lamongan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif yang melibatkan 60 lansia sebagai partisipan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling proporsional. Faktor-faktor yang mendukung tingkat kepatuhan lansia diukur melalui kuesioner yang terdiri dari 25 butir pertanyaan yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi dan proporsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa didapatkan faktor jarak rumah 91,9%, faktor peran kader kesehatan 82,3%, dan motivasi 72,6%, serta faktor peran keluarga 59,7%. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah jarak rumah, peran kader kesehatan, motivasi, serta peran keluarga menjadi hal yang mendukung lansia untuk patuh mengikuti kegiatan Posyandu pada masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This study explores how care, distance, and psychosocial well-being are negotiated within transnational families of Indonesian migrant workers. While migration has long been recognized as a strategy for improving household economic conditions, less attention has been given to the relational and psychosocial consequences of family separation. Addressing this gap, the study employs a qualitative case study approach in Cilacap Regency, one of Indonesia’s major migrant-sending regions. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving migrant workers and their family members, including spouses, children, and grandparents. The findings reveal that ongoing processes of care negotiation shape transnational family life under conditions of distance and constraint. Communication serves as the primary medium of care but is limited by technological barriers, time differences, and work demands, resulting in only partial emotional connection. Family roles are continuously reconfigured, with men negotiating domestic responsibilities and women maintaining caregiving authority from afar. Grandparents emerge as key caregivers, although intergenerational arrangements often create gaps in emotional care. These dynamics contribute to psychosocial strain, particularly among children and caregivers. This study highlights that family well-being in migration contexts is inherently relational and negotiated, underscoring the need for integrated social work interventions that address psychosocial support, digital inclusion, and gendered care dynamics. Keywords: Transnational families; Psychosocial well-being; Care negotiation; Migration; Social work Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana praktik pengasuhan, keterpisahan geografis, dan kesejahteraan psikososial dinegosiasikan dalam keluarga pekerja migran Indonesia. Selama ini, migrasi lebih banyak dipahami sebagai strategi peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi, sementara dampak relasional dan psikososial akibat keterpisahan keluarga masih kurang mendapat perhatian. Untuk mengisi kesenjangan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di Kabupaten Cilacap sebagai salah satu daerah pengirim pekerja migran terbesar di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen yang melibatkan pekerja migran serta anggota keluarga yang ditinggalkan, termasuk pasangan, anak, dan kakek-nenek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehidupan keluarga transnasional dibentuk oleh proses negosiasi pengasuhan yang berlangsung dalam kondisi keterbatasan dan jarak. Komunikasi menjadi medium utama dalam praktik pengasuhan, namun dibatasi oleh hambatan teknologi, perbedaan waktu, dan tuntutan kerja sehingga menghasilkan kedekatan emosional yang parsial. Peran keluarga mengalami rekonfigurasi, di mana laki-laki menegosiasikan peran domestik, sementara perempuan tetap menjalankan otoritas pengasuhan dari jarak jauh. Kakek-nenek berperan sebagai pengasuh utama, meskipun seringkali muncul kesenjangan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan emosional anak. Dinamika ini berdampak pada tekanan psikososial, terutama pada anak dan anggota keluarga lainnya.
