Abstract

Dalam praktik pembelajaran, matematika masih sering dipersepsikan sebagai mata pelajaran yang sulit dan menakutkan, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya keterlibatan dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik dalam belajar. Namun kondisi tersebut memperoleh respon yang beragam dari peserta didik. Perbedaan respon tersebut dipengaruhi oleh tingkat efikasi diri yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan efikasi diri peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika, yang ditinjau dari hasil belajarnya. Penelitian dilakukan degan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode komparatif dan desain ex-post facto. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjin tahun ajaran 2025/2026 dengan melibatkan seluruh peserta didik kelas V SDN 8 Sokong yang berjumlah 45 orang. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket efikasi diri dan dokumentasi nilai Ujian Tengah Semester (UTS) pada mata pelajaran matematika. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan independent samples t-test dan analisis desktriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada efikasi diri peserta didik dengan hasil belajar tinggi dan rendah. Peserta didik dengan hasil belajar tinggi memiliki efikasi diri yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan peserta didik dengan hasil belajar rendah, baik secara keseluruhan maupun pada masing-masing dimensinya yaitu magnitude, strength, dan generality. Oleh karena itu, guru disarankan untuk merancang pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan upaya-upaya penguatan efikasi diri peserta didik selama pembelajaran matematika, salah satunya melalui pemberian pengalaman keberhasilan (mastery experience) yang bermakna.

Abstract

Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning in elementary schools is often delivered in a theoretical manner and remains insufficiently connected to students’ real-life experiences. In contrast, the Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes contextual learning and character development by integrating Pancasila Student Profile values. This highlights the need for teaching materials that support conceptual understanding while reflecting local cultural contexts. This study aimed to develop a local wisdom–based Natural and Social Sciences teaching module integrated with the Pancasila Student Profile for elementary school students. The module was developed using the ADDIE model and implemented with 182 students in Grades 3, 4, and 5. Data were collected through expert validation, teacher response questionnaires, and student learning outcomes. The results indicated that the developed module achieved a high level of validity (76.62) and was considered highly practical by teachers. Statistical analysis also confirmed that the module was significantly effective in improving students’ learning outcomes. The implementation produced average scores of 81.41 in Grade 3, 81.35 in Grade 4, and 80.40 in Grade 5. These findings demonstrate that integrating local wisdom into teaching modules can enhance contextual learning while strengthening students’ cultural identity. Therefore, the module offers a relevant instructional resource to support the effective implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary education.

Abstract

Numeracy ability is one of the fundamental competencies in mathematics learning at the elementary school level, as it serves as the foundation for mastering more advanced mathematical concepts. However, in practice, there are still lower-grade students who experience difficulties in understanding basic arithmetic operations. Therefore, learning media that are concrete, engaging, and appropriate to students’ cognitive development stages are needed. This study aims to determine the effect of the Finger Counting Board Media on the numeracy ability of Grade II A and Grade II B students at SD Negeri 37 Cakranegara. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using the nonequivalent control group design type. The population of this study consisted of all Grade II students at SDN 37 Cakranegara, with a sample of 54 students, including 25 students from Class II A and 29 students from Class II B. Data collection techniques used were test and non-test methods. The instrument used in this research was a multiple-choice test sheet (Pretest and Posttest). Data analysis techniques included normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test, and N-gain test. The results of the study indicate that the use of finger counting board media has a significant effect on the numeracy ability of Grade II students. This is evidenced by the results of the independent sample test (t-test) with a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. In addition, the N-Gain value obtained was 0.05.

Abstract

The success of mathematics learning is not only influenced by the quality of classroom learning, but also by factors outside the classroom, such as the intensity of home learning and student learning motivation. However, most sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Merembu showed low home learning intensity and lack of motivation to learn mathematics. This study aims to determine the effect of home learning intensity and learning motivation on the mathematics learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Merembu. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical research. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 26.0. The data used were from questionnaire results and student mathematics test scores. The results showed that home learning intensity and learning motivation did not significantly influence students' mathematics learning outcomes. This is indicated by a probability value of 0.172 > 0.05. This finding indicates that these two variables have not made a significant contribution to mathematics learning outcomes. This condition is thought to be influenced by other factors, namely teacher learning methods, students' basic mathematical abilities, a less conducive home learning environment, and limited guidance from parents. Therefore, schools and teachers need to implement more innovative learning strategies and increase cooperation with parents.
