Abstract

ABSTRACTEducation plays a vital role in shaping students’ character and morality as part of efforts to achieve national goals. In the Indonesian context, Pancasila serves as the primary foundation of character education that needs to be instilled from the elementary school level, as this stage marks the early formation of children’s personalities. This article examines the internalization of moral values, the role of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) in cultivating moral values, and moral values relevant to elementary school students. The method employed is a literature review through the analysis of books, scholarly journals, and related educational documents. The findings indicate that PPKn learning contributes significantly to the development of students’ civic character, including honesty, responsibility, tolerance, and social awareness. The internalization of moral values is most effective when implemented in a planned and continuous manner through teacher role modeling, habituation activities, and contextual learning that is closely connected to students’ daily lives. Therefore, moral education in elementary schools not only focuses on value transmission but also functions as a fundamental strategy in preparing a generation that is well-characterized, has integrity, and can contribute positively to society. Keywords: Moral Education, Value Internalization, Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn), Civic Character, Elementary School ABSTRAKPendidikan memegang peranan penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan moral peserta didik sebagai bagian dari upaya mewujudkan tujuan nasional.

Abstract

This study investigates the potential of Indonesia’s indigenous crops, pigeon pea and yellow sweet potato, for the development of nutritious snack bars with desirable protein content and glycemic index (GI). Eleven formulations with varying ratios of pigeon pea and yellow sweet potato (0%:100% to 100%:0%) were produced and analyzed for protein content using AOAC methods and for GI using glucose as the reference standard. Data were evaluated using one-way ANOVA followed by DMRT at a 5% significance level. Protein content ranged from 3.05 ± 0.01% to 13.64 ± 0.19%, while GI values spanned from 14.00 ± 0.65 to 76.00 ± 0.14. Increasing the proportion of pigeon pea resulted in a concurrent rise in both protein content and GI, indicating a strong positive correlation between these parameters and highlighting the challenge of formulating high-protein, low-GI snack bars from these ingredients. The findings indicate that thermal processing may enhance starch digestibility, thereby contributing to elevated GI in formulations with high pigeon pea content. A key limitation of this study is the absence of detailed analysis of processing-related factors such as heating intensity, matrix modification, and starch gelatinization that may influence glycemic response. Further investigation is required to elucidate these mechanisms.

Abstract

This research examines disputes over mawquf assets arising from unilateral claims by heirs in Gampong Blanggalang, Pidie, highlighting the discrepancy between the principle of waqf permanence and private property claims. The study aims to analyze the legal considerations of Court Decision Number 423/Pdt.G/2023/MS.SGI and the protection mechanisms for waqf assets under Fiqh Muamalah and the Aceh Qanun. Adopting a normative juridical approach with a case study method, the data were sourced from the Sigli Syar’iyah Court decision and a literature review. The findings emphasize that the status of waqf is permanent and irrevocable. This study reveals the judicial recognition of the legality of customary waqf (wakaf adat) managed by the Baitul Mal as nazhir, despite the lack of formal administrative evidence. The judges prioritized the status of public assets over inheritance rights and categorized unilateral possession as an unlawful act. This ruling reflects the integration of positive law and local wisdom in strengthening the protection of religious assets. The research recommends the digitalization of waqf pledge administration to prevent similar disputes in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how values foster the national character of elementary school students. National character education is a crucial aspect in fostering nationalism, responsibility, tolerance, and love of the homeland from an early age. This research method involves examining and analyzing various research findings, books, and library research documents. The study's findings indicate that values-based civic education can be integrated through a contextual approach, role modeling, habituation, and the use of active and participatory learning methods. Developing learning that emphasizes Pancasila values has been shown to enhance students' understanding and internalization of national character. Therefore, values-based civic education plays a strategic role in shaping a young generation with character, noble personalities, and a strong sense of national awareness.

Abstract

Shallot (Allium cepa L.) is an important horticultural commodity whose productivity is strongly influenced by seed quality and early plant growth. One approach to improving seed quality and early growth performance is the application of seed coating technology using adhesive materials and biological agents. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of seed coating treatments based on carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) combined with lime, Trichoderma, Bacillus, and mycorrhiza on germination, growth rate, and growth performance of shallot. The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design with several seed coating treatments and a control, each replicated three times. Observed parameters included germination percentage, growth rate, root length, number of leaves, number of tillers, fresh weight, and dry weight of plants. The results showed that seed coating treatments significantly affected germination and growth rate at 3 and 5 days after sowing, as well as fresh and dry weights of shallot plants. The CMC + lime treatment produced the highest germination, growth rate, fresh weight, and dry weight, while treatments containing biological agents tended to enhance vegetative growth. In conclusion, seed coating technology using CMC combined with lime and beneficial microorganisms has the potential to improve seed quality and early growth of shallot.

Abstract

Bullying remains prevalent in schools and negatively affects students’ emotional, social, and academic development. Limited understanding of its forms, causes, impacts, and prevention strategies makes students vulnerable as both perpetrators and victims. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of anti-bullying socialization and education in improving knowledge and awareness among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 19 Palu. The method employed a one-group pre-test–post-test design with a health education approach, involving 107 students selected through total sampling. Instruments included questionnaires, observation sheets, and documentation. Activities were conducted in three stages: observation, implementation (presentations, educational videos, discussions, simulations, interactive games, post-test), and evaluation. Results demonstrated a significant increase in students’ understanding of bullying definitions, physical, verbal, social, and cyber forms, and preventive measures. Observations also indicated enhanced student confidence in discussing and rejecting bullying behaviors. In conclusion, the program proved effective and is recommended to be implemented regularly to foster a safe and bullying-free school environment
