Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan di kelas VIII MTsN 7 Agam bahwa rendahnya kemampuan representasi matematis siswa berdasarkan observasi,wawancara dan kuis yang dilakukan di kelas VIII MTsN 7 Agam. Hal ini diduga model pembelajaran yang diterapkan masih bersifat konvensional. Rendahnya kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dapat dilihat dari hasil kuis siswa yang mana sebagian besar siswa kesulitan mengungkapkan ide matematis mereka. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Adapun rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah apakah kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah “kemampuan representasi matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas VIII MTsN 7 Agam”. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian The Static Group Comparison Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTsN 7 Agam yang berjumlah 7 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak setelah dilakukan uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji kesamaan rata-rata pada populasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-6 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII-7 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen dalam penelitian adalah tes kemampuan representasi matematis berupa soal essay. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh nilai thiting = 2,155 > ttabel = 2,021. Menggunakan Software SPSS diperoleh nilai sig. = 0,035 < α = 0,05 hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) matematika terintegrasi Islam siswa kelas XI.IPA.1 MAS Sumatera Thawalib Parabek. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI.IPA.1 MAS Sumatera Thawalib Parabek. Subjek diambil berdasarkan rentang nilai kemampuan awal masing-masing subjek merupakan rekomendasi guru mata pelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS terdapat pada semua subjek penelitian tergolong sangat rendah. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS Matematika terintegrasi Islam siswa kelas XI.IPA.1 MAS Sumatera Thawalib Parabek Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 yaitu dilihat berdasarkan pencapaian perindikator. Kemampuan siswa untuk Indikator menganalisis (C4) dengan persentase sebesar 58,6% kriteria rendah, indikator mengevaluasi (C5) dengan persentase sebesar 28,8% kriteria sangat rendah, dan pada indikator mencipta (C6) dengan persentase sebesar 27,5% kriteria sangat rendah. Secara keseluruhan siswa kelas XI.IPA.1 MAS Sumatera Thawalib Parabek memiliki kemampuan sangat rendah dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS Matematika terintegrasi Islam

Permasalahan yang ditemukan di kelas VIII SMPN 2 Batang Anai yaitu rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa menjadi acuan penelitian ini dilaksanakan. Peneliti menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Active Knowledge Sharing karena strategi pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan strategi pembelajaran Active Knowledge Sharing terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa di kelas VIII SMPN 2 Batang Anai tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yaitu The Static Group Comparison Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Batang Anai tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Sampel dalam penelitian ini kelas VIII.4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa yang dikumpulkan melaluiteknik tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tes meggunakan uji-t diperoleh dan = 1,67 sehingga diperoleh berarti ditolak dan diterima pada tarap nyata = 0,05. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa “ terdapat pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Active Knowledge Sharing terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Batang Anai tahun pelajaran 2023/2024”.

The competition between universities in the admission of new students is becoming increasingly intense, making it more difficult for the public, especially prospective students, to choose a study program. The Department of Hadith Sciences at UIN Syech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi has fewer applicants compared to other departments due to the limited interest of prospective students in enrolling. In response to this issue, the author developed a Monte Carlo simulation predictive model that allows prospective students to estimate the number of applicants to the Department of Hadith Sciences for the upcoming academic year. The research technique employed in this study uses Monte Carlo simulation to apply this research. The number of students in the Department of Hadith Sciences who enrolled from 2019 to 2023 serves as the data used to predict the number of new student registrations. The accuracy of the simulation in estimating the number of new students who will enroll in the Department of Hadith Sciences is 218 students, with an average annual accuracy of 65.1%. By applying the Monte Carlo method, it is possible to predict the number of students who will enroll in the Department of Hadith Sciences with a relatively high level of accuracy in its application

This research aims to determine the development of mathematics education in Indonesia. To overcome this problem, teachers play a role in overcoming students' learning difficulties in mathematics subjects, especially in critical thinking skills. One alternative to solve this problem is to apply open ended learning. Open ended learning is learning that presents problems by solving problems in various ways and the solutions are also varied. This research aims to find out whether the critical thinking abilities of students using an open-ended learning approach are better than the critical thinking abilities of students using conventional learning. This type of research is experimental research with circle subject matter. The population in this study was all class VIII students, totaling 91 students. The location of this research is MTs Negeri 1 Solok. The sampling technique uses random sampling. The research instrument is in the form of posttest questions. The calculation obtained ????ℎ???????????????????? > ???? 0.95;41, namely 2.84 > 2.019 and ???????????????????????? = 0.983 at the significance level α = 0.05 so it is rejected. The experimental class average was 66.71 and the control class average was 54.73.

The aim of this research is to determine the significant influence of learning motivation on the mathematical critical thinking abilities of class VII students at MTsN 11 Agam. The hypothesis in this research is "There is a significant influence of learning motivation on the mathematical critical thinking abilities of class VII students at MTsN 11 Agam for the 2023/2024 academic year." This type of research is ex post facto research with a type of correlation research (causal research). The population in this study were all class VII students, totaling 124 students. Meanwhile, the sample in this study was taken randomly as many as 38 students. Before sampling, normality and homogeneity tests were carried out. The instruments used in this research were a mathematics learning motivation questionnaire and mathematical critical thinking ability test questions. The statistical analysis technique used is Simple Regression Analysis. From the results of data analysis, it shows that the regression equation between motivation to learn mathematics and critical mathematical thinking abilities of class VII students at MTsN 11 Agam is Y=10.396+0.2714X with a correlation of 0.628 and a coefficient of determination of 39.5%. The results of hypothesis testing obtained t_count > t_table, namely 4.843 > 2.028, and the SPSS results obtained a significant 0.00 and the value α=0.05, so it was obtained 0.00 ≤ 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of motivation to learn mathematics on the mathematical critical thinking abilities of class VII students at MTsN 11 Agam.

This research is based on the low mathematical problem-solving ability of students, one of which is because during the learning process students tend to be silent and not confident when answering the practice questions given, there is no courage to answer every question given. The purpose of this study is to find out students' mathematical problem-solving ability reviewed from mathematical disposition. This type of research is a qualitative description research. The research subjects were selected 3 students out of 29 students, namely, one student for each category of mathematical disposition, including high, medium, and low mathematical disposition categories. The instruments used are questionnaire instruments, mathematical problem-solving ability tests, and interview guidelines. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The data validity technique used is triangulation technique. Based on the results of this study, students with a high category of mathematical disposition have a level of mathematical problem-solving ability with a very good category. Then students with a moderate category of mathematical disposition have a level of mathematical problem-solving ability with a sufficient category. Furthermore, students with a low category of mathematical disposition have a different level of mathematical problem-solving ability, which is less and less

Technological developments have impacted all sectors, including the education sector. This requires the education sector, especially the learning sector, to be innovative. Be innovative in implementing learning, one of them is using e-learning such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and others. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using LMS in the lectures of Teacher Professional Education (PPG) students. This research is experimental research, with a sample of PPG students. Data analysis using N-Gain and t-test. Based on the research results, it was found that student learning outcomes had increased. As many as 77.8% of students' learning outcomes were of medium criteria, and 22.2% were high. Based on the t-test results, using LMS media can effectively achieve learning outcomes in PPG student learning evaluations. This research for Islamic education management implies that it can be a reference for future researchers to study the use of LMS in distance learning in Islamic educational institutions more profoundly and comprehensively.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh sebagian besar siswa di kelas IX MTsN 5 Agam yang kurang disiplin dan rendahnya motivasi dalam belajar matematika. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap kedisiplinan belajar matematika siswa kelas IX MTsN 5 Agam Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024.Tujuan dilaksanakan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap kedisiplinan belajar matematika siswa kelas IX MTsN 5 Agam Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah “Terdapat pengaruh signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap kedisiplinan belajar matematika siswa kelas IX MTsN 5 Agam Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024”. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis korelational dengan pendekatan Ex Post Facto. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 220 orang dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 43 orang. Sebelum pengambilan sampel dilakukan uji normalitas dan homogenitas data. Setelah dilakukannya uji tersebut didapatkan populasi berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar dan kedisiplinan belajar matematika siswa.Teknik analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar terhadap kedisiplinan belajar matematika siswa memiliki hubungan yang Kuat dengan r_XY=0,651 dan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 42,4%, dan persamaan regresi sederhana Y = 26,462 + 1,128X. Diperoleh t_hitung=5,485 dan t_tabel=2,020 pada kepercayaan 95% atau ?=0,05 dan didapatkan sig = 0,000 ??=0,025. Yang artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap kedisiplinan belajar matematika siswa kelas IX MTsN 5 Agam tahun pelajaran 2023/2024.

One of the goals of mathematics learning according to the content standards of mathematics is that students have the ability to solve problems that include the ability to understand problems, design mathematical models, complete models and interpret solutions obtained. So that students from elementary school to university level have been trained in mathematical problem solving questions. However, there are still many weak students in achievement in the field of mathematics such as problem solving skills. One of the factors that influence the weakness of problem solving skills is the learning style. The purpose of this study was to analyze students' mathematical problem solving abilities based on learning styles. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative, with the research subject being students of class VIII MTsN totaling 38 students. The instrument used is Questionnaire and Test the ability to solve mathematical problems. Questionnaires are used to classify student learning styles, while problem solving ability tests are used to analyze students' problem solving abilities. The results of the study concluded that mathematical problem solving abilities of students who had a visual learning style were higher than the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who had audiotorial and kinesthetic learning styles. And the ability of problem solving students who have audiotorial learning styles is higher than students who have kinesthetic learning styles.
