Abstract

Islamic education faces the challenge of integrating Islamic values ​​into a modern context, particularly regarding the obligation to seek knowledge and the ethics of imparting it. This study aims to analyze the Hadith of Ibn Majah No. 220 in the context of education, focusing on the implications of this teaching for contemporary educational practices. The method used is a qualitative approach, through analysis of the Hadith text and interviews with educators. The results show that this Hadith emphasizes the importance of the obligation to seek knowledge as a foundation for education, while also highlighting the role of ethics in imparting knowledge. These findings have significant implications for the development of values-based educational curricula and ethics training for educators, and encourage further research to examine the application of this teaching in broader contexts. Thus, this study contributes to the development of a more responsive and ethical Islamic education.

Abstract

The peatlands in Tanjung Leban Village, Bandar Laksamana District, Bengkalis Regency, have great potential to be developed into conservation-based and creative economy-based educational tourism areas. One of the leading potentials is honeybee cultivation, which is not only environmentally friendly but can also increase community income. However, to date, this potential has not been developed sustainably. The purpose of this community service activity is to empower the community through honeybee educational tourism by increasing community capacity in honeybee cultivation, raising awareness of the importance of peatland conservation through an educational approach, and encouraging village economic growth through environmentally friendly tourism and creative economy sectors. The methods of this community service activity include counseling on honeybee cultivation techniques, training on peatland management for honeybee cultivation and educational tourism, workshops on modern bee cultivation techniques, group mentoring in honeybee educational tourism management and product marketing, and training on honeybee educational tourism promotion through social media and marketplaces. The results of community service show that there is an increase in community capacity and knowledge, diversification of livelihoods and improvement of the local economy, development of infrastructure and educational tourism destinations, contribution to peatland conservation and strengthening of community institutions.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an is a characteristic of Islamic boarding school students. However, there are still many students who are negligent in improving their memorization, so they do not reach the target. This dynamic is compounded by the inappropriate use of learning methods. The takrir method is a method used in learning to memorize the Qur'an by repeating the reading of verses until they are memorized. The takrir method is able to increase the quantity of students' memorization. Thus, this study is intended to answer the problem of how the guidance by tahfidz teachers applies the takrir method to improve the memorization of students at the Darul Mursyidin Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, data sources are taken through individual and group interviews with seven informants selected using purposive sampling techniques, the informants in question are the principal, teachers and students. In-depth interviews were conducted with students who memorize the Qur'an. The results of this study are: 1) Coaching by tahfidz teachers using the takrir method to improve students' memorization is carried out through several stages, namely submitting new memorization to ustadzah, joint takrir, individual takrir, takrir in prayer and additional studies such as studying the book Tafsir verses Ahkam, At-Tibyan and Tajwid 2) Supporting factors in Coaching by tahfidz teachers in applying the takrir method to improve students' memorization at the Darul Mursyidin Islamic Boarding School are asking for blessings from parents. According to researchers, asking for blessings from parents is very important because it is one of the things that can make a memorizer enthusiastic. 3) Inhibiting factors for the development of tahfidz teachers in implementing the takrir method to improve the memorization of students at the Darul Mursyidin Islamic Boarding School. The obstacles felt by the students of the Darul Mursyidin Islamic Boarding School are: laziness, fatigue, illness and so on. Among the solutions are self-motivation, adequate rest, consistency and so on. Improving the memorization of students is important and the takrir method is the right method.

Abstract

Perancangan Pertunjukan Opera Minangkabau Malin Nan Kondang sebagai Alih Wahana KabaMalin Kundangadalah proses penciptaan pertunjukan Opera Minangkabau yang bertitik tolak dari penafsiran ulang kaba Malin Kundang. Proses penciptaan pertunjukan Opera Minangkabau tersebut, diawali dari sebuah riset terhadap berbagai penafsiran atas kaba Malin Kundang sebagai titik tolak terbentuknya penafsiran baru atas kaba tersebut..Penafsiran baru tersebut kemudian dikreasi untuk menghasilkan bentuk lakon baru, yang kemudian diberi judul Malin Nan kondang.Lakon baru inilah yang menjadi pijakan dalam perancangan pemanggungan (spektakel) yang mencirikan sebuah pertunjukan Opera Minangkabau.Penuangan tersebut merupakan bentuk perancangan yang dimulai dari analisis lakon, pembuatan adegan demi adegan dan penempatan aspek pendukung opera yang meliputi gerak, dendang dan penghayatan seni peran. Aksentuasi opera diwujudkan dengan penggunakan ragam seni tradisi Minangkabau bagi kebutuhan perancangan Opera Minangkabau secara keseluruhan. Aksentuasi itu meliputi dialog dengan dendang, penggunaan koreografi dan paduan suara dan dialog yang berbentuk puisi.Kata kunci : Kaba Malin Kundang; Lakon Malin Nan Kondang; Opera Minangkabau

Abstract

Land use change is a strategic issue in managing rapidly growing urban areas, including the city of Bukittinggi. Urbanization, population growth, and infrastructure development have driven the conversion of green spaces into built-up areas, resulting in increased environmental disaster risks and pressure on ecosystems. This study aims to analyze the land cover change patterns in Bukittinggi from 2017 to 2023 and to predict future changes by 2035 through the integration of the Cellular Automata (CA) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) models. The methodology includes Landsat satellite image classification and spatial analysis using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The AHP model was applied to assign weights to various factors influencing land use change, such as accessibility, population density, and land use types, which were then integrated into the CA predictive simulation. The results indicate a trend of increasing built-up land and a significant decline in agricultural and forest areas. The integration of CA and AHP models produced more accurate spatial predictions, offering a reliable basis for sustainable spatial planning. These findings contribute significantly to policy-making by supporting the design of urban development strategies that are both adaptive to change and environmentally sustainable.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the intensity of online game playing among students in Probolinggo City. The research employed a descriptive quantitative design, with data analyzed using category-based assessment techniques. The findings indicate that the intensity of playing online games among students obtained an average score of 2.7, which falls into the moderate category. Furthermore, when viewed from aspects of motivation, influence, and the impacts of online game playing, the overall average score also reached 2.7, indicating a moderate level. These results suggest that students in Probolinggo City generally engage in online gaming at a moderate intensity. Based on these findings, it is recommended that schools, families, and the wider community pay closer attention to students’ online gaming habits in order to manage playing time effectively and minimize potential negative effects associated with excessive online game use.

Abstract

The development of social media has significantly changed people's communication patterns, but at the same time, it has given rise to issues of language ethics, particularly the widespread use of offensive language, which has undergone a process of normalization. Abusive language is no longer viewed as a violation but rather as part of a normal digital communication culture, particularly among children and adolescents. This phenomenon has the potential to influence character formation, reduce politeness, and weaken social empathy. This study aims to analyze the normalization of offensive language on social media, identify influencing factors, and examine prevention strategies through an Islamic education approach. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study approach. The subjects consisted of adolescents who actively use social media, their parents, and Islamic Religious Education teachers. Data were collected through in-depth observation of social media activity, semi-structured interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted interactively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, applying triangulation of sources and methods to ensure data validity. The results indicate that the normalization of offensive language occurs through repeated exposure, digital social pressure, and minimal guidance on language ethics from families and schools. Harsh language normalized in digital spaces carries over into everyday social interactions. However, Islamic education has proven to play a strategic role in preventing this phenomenon through internalizing the values ​​of language etiquette, leading by example, and strengthening noble morals. This research emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic education into digital literacy to foster a culture of polite and responsible communication on social media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis harmonisasi nilai adat Sumbang Duo Baleh dengan prinsip pendidikan Islam dalam merespons dinamika media sosial terhadap perilaku anak perempuan Minangkabau. Sumbang Duo Baleh sebagai sistem nilai adat berfungsi mengatur kepantasan perilaku perempuan melalui mekanisme kontrol moral berbasis rasa malu (rasa jo pareso). Namun, perkembangan media sosial telah menghadirkan ruang sosial baru yang memengaruhi cara anak perempuan membangun identitas, berinteraksi, dan mengekspresikan diri, sehingga berpotensi menggerus internalisasi nilai adat tersebut. Penelitian ini memfokuskan kajian pada bentuk-bentuk praktik Sumbang Duo Baleh yang muncul di media sosial serta relevansinya dengan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melalui observasi digital terhadap konten media sosial anak perempuan Minangkabau, wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh adat, pendidik Islam, dan pengguna media sosial, serta dokumentasi konten digital. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik dengan pendekatan interpretatif-kritis untuk mengungkap pola, makna, dan implikasi sosial dari praktik yang diamati. Fokus analisis diarahkan pada dimensi sumbang berpakaian, sumbang tingkah laku, sumbang pergaulan, dan sumbang perkataan dalam konteks ruang digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial telah berkontribusi terhadap terjadinya pergeseran pemaknaan dan praktik nilai Sumbang Duo Baleh pada anak perempuan Minangkabau. Nilai adat cenderung terpinggirkan oleh standar kepantasan berbasis visual dan popularitas digital, sementara pendidikan Islam belum sepenuhnya berfungsi sebagai kerangka ta’dib yang kontekstual dalam menghadapi tantangan etika digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi nilai adat Sumbang Duo Baleh dengan prinsip pendidikan Islam yang adaptif terhadap media sosial merupakan kebutuhan mendesak untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter anak perempuan Minangkabau di era digital.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan media sosial telah mengubah cara remaja mengakses informasi dan hiburan, salah satunya melalui platform TikTok. Popularitas TikTok di kalangan remaja menimbulkan pertanyaan mengenai pengaruhnya terhadap perilaku moral, apakah menjadi ancaman atau justru peluang bagi pembentukan karakter generasi bangsa. Latar belakang masalah ini penting mengingat remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang rentan terhadap pengaruh lingkungan digital dan sedang membentuk identitas serta nilai moral. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk menggali secara mendalam pengalaman dan perilaku remaja dalam menggunakan TikTok. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 50 remaja berusia 15–19 tahun yang aktif menggunakan TikTok. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi penggunaan TikTok, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi interaksi remaja dengan konten di platform tersebut. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan kritis untuk memahami pola penggunaan, jenis konten yang dikonsumsi, serta pengaruhnya terhadap perilaku moral remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa remaja menggunakan TikTok secara intensif, dengan durasi menonton rata-rata 2–3 jam per hari, dan lebih banyak menonton konten hiburan dan tantangan viral dibandingkan konten edukatif atau motivatif. Konsumsi konten hiburan berpotensi menimbulkan ancaman moral, seperti perilaku meniru yang tidak sesuai norma, normalisasi perilaku berisiko, dan pembentukan persepsi sosial yang menyimpang. Sebaliknya, konten edukatif dan motivatif mendorong kreativitas, disiplin belajar, dan kepedulian sosial, sehingga memiliki dampak positif terhadap perkembangan moral remaja. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa TikTok memiliki pengaruh dualistik, yang dapat menjadi ancaman sekaligus peluang, tergantung pada jenis konten, durasi penggunaan, dan literasi digital remaja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran wanita dalam pendidikan keluarga perspektif Al-Qur’an serta relevansinya terhadap realitas sosial masyarakat kontemporer. Wanita memiliki kedudukan penting dalam keluarga, terutama sebagai pendidik pertama dan utama bagi anak. Dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an, peran wanita tidak hanya terbatas pada aspek domestik, tetapi juga mencakup fungsi moral, spiritual, intelektual, emosional, dan sosial dalam membentuk generasi yang beriman, berakhlak, dan bertanggung jawab. Nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an menempatkan wanita sebagai sosok yang memiliki martabat, tanggung jawab, serta kontribusi strategis dalam membangun ketahanan keluarga dan kualitas pendidikan anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data diperoleh dari Al-Qur’an, kitab tafsir, buku-buku pendidikan Islam, serta artikel ilmiah yang relevan dengan tema wanita, keluarga, dan pendidikan Islam. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi dengan menelaah ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang berkaitan dengan peran wanita dalam keluarga, kemudian dihubungkan dengan kondisi sosial masyarakat modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wanita memiliki peran penting sebagai pendidik akidah, pembentuk akhlak, penanam nilai kasih sayang, pengelola komunikasi keluarga, serta teladan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Relevansinya terhadap realitas sosial terlihat pada kebutuhan penguatan peran wanita dalam menghadapi tantangan modern, seperti perubahan pola asuh, pengaruh media digital, kesibukan ekonomi, krisis moral anak, dan melemahnya fungsi pendidikan keluarga. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan keluarga berbasis nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an perlu diperkuat agar wanita dapat menjalankan perannya secara proporsional, bermartabat, dan kontekstual sesuai dengan dinamika kehidupan sosial.
