Abstract

This research examines to assesses the financial performance of the Jambi City Government by using the calculation method of Economic Ratios, Efficiency Ratios and Effectiveness Ratios and to see the effect of this financial performance on development in Jambi City. The analytical method in this research uses descriptive analysis and Correlation Test. The data used in this study are Regional Expenditures, Personnel Expenditures, Capital Expenditures, Regional Revenues and Local Own Revenue for the City of Jambi for the last 4 years, namely 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. The three ratios from the value for money method are then linked with the Capital Expenditure growth ratio.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Library of SLB Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan. The aim of this study was to identify the factors causing low literacy among deaf students and to explore the librarian's strategies in developing literacy beneficial for Deaf students at SLB Yayasan Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan. The research approach used in this study was descriptive qualitative. Based on the research findings, there are several factors contributing to the low literacy among deaf students at SLB Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan. One significant factor is the limited access to reading materials suitable for the students' needs. Deaf students often face challenges in accessing literacy resources that could support their learning, which can hinder their literacy development, considering the importance of access to reading materials appropriate for their comprehension level. The research also indicates that librarians at SLB Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan have implemented various effective strategies to enhance the literacy of deaf students. One successful strategy is collaboration between librarians and educators at the school. Librarians collaborate with teachers to integrate literacy into the curriculum and lesson plans, ensuring that literacy activities are not separated from the core subjects but become an integral part of students' educational experiences. This collaboration enables librarians to support teachers in providing relevant reading resources and supporting learning objectives. Thus, this conclusion underscores the important role of librarians in addressing factors contributing to the low literacy among deaf students with appropriate strategies. Collaborative efforts between librarians and educators are also a positive step in enhancing the literacy of deaf students at SLB Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan. This conclusion can serve as a basis for further improvements in literacy education for deaf students at the school.

Abstract

An application refers to the use of a computer program consisting of instructions or statements arranged in such a way that the computer can process inputs into outputs. This web-based learning application is developed to support the learning process of children aged 6–7 years through interactive and enjoyable media. By utilizing web technology, the application delivers various learning materials that cover fundamental skills such as reading, writing, arithmetic, and the introduction of other basic concepts. It is designed with a child-friendly interface, supported by engaging animations and gamification features aimed at increasing children's motivation and interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which accuracy (X1), speed (X2), security (X3) influences customer satisfaction (Y). This study uses a quantitative approach with sampling using the Non Probability Sampling method. The type of data used in this study is primary data obtained from questionnaires filled out by respondents directly. While secondary data comes from books, journals, research results, practical work reports and related to the author's research object. In this study, the population that will be taken is all BSI Syariah customers in Langkat Regency from 2020 to February 2022, namely 30,100 customers. The analysis tool uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that accuracy (X1), speed (X2), security (X3) simultaneously affect customer satisfaction (Y). Keyword: Accuracy, Speed, Security, Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini agar melihat pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik diskusi terhadap etika berbicara siswa di MTs Ummul Quraa. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yakni pre-eksperimen, metode yang digunakan yaitu one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi tersebut merupakan keseluruhan siswa kelas VIII MTs Ummul Quraa dengan jumlah 100 siswa, sampel yang diperoleh berjumlah 8 siswa yang memiliki etika berbicara yang rendah. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel non-probability sampling tepatnya teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan skala etika berbicara. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu Uji-t dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25, diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 0,05 dengan demikian.dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho di tolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat dikatakan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik diskusi berpengaruh terhadap etika berbicara.pada siswa MTs Ummul Quraa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai-nilai Islam melalui kegiatan Wirid Jumat Berkah di Desa Bulu Duri serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap kehidupan sosial dan spiritual masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, di mana data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket kepada jamaah, tokoh agama, serta masyarakat sekitar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Wirid Jumat Berkah berperan penting sebagai sarana internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam seperti keikhlasan, kesabaran, kepedulian sosial, gotong-royong, dan ukhuwah Islamiyah. Kegiatan yang meliputi pembacaan wirid, tausyah, dan pembagian sedekah ini tidak hanya memperkuat keimanan, tetapi juga meningkatkan solidaritas sosial antarwarga. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong terbentuknya karakter religius, kedisiplinan beribadah, serta kepedulian terhadap sesama. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi komitmen tokoh agama dan konsistensi pelaksanaan, sedangkan hambatannya adalah kurangnya partisipasi generasi muda dan keterbatasan dana. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Wirid Jumat Berkah merupakan bentuk pendidikan Islam nonformal yang efektif dalam membangun masyarakat pedesaan yang religius, berakhlak mulia, dan harmonis.

Abstract

Revolusi digital membawa dampak signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter dan kesadaran bernegara pada generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran strategis keluarga dalam membentuk karakter dan menanamkan nilai kebangsaan di era digital. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui studi literatur dan observasi lapangan terhadap perilaku digital dalam lingkungan keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keluarga memainkan peran sebagai filter informasi, role model digital, dan penanam nilai kebangsaan dalam keseharian. Namun, tantangan seperti kesenjangan literasi digital antar generasi dan keterbatasan waktu menjadi hambatan dalam optimalisasi peran ini. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara keluarga, sekolah, dan pemerintah dalam membangun ekosistem digital yang sehat dan berkarakter.

Abstract

This study investigates the extent to which strategic decisions in segmentation, targeting, and positioning (STP) translate into short-term sales performance within a food-and-beverage small enterprise. Using a descriptive–quantitative approach, the research employed a within-firm sampling frame covering all 36 employees and collected data through standardized survey instruments. Prior to hypothesis testing, the measurement model was evaluated to ensure construct validity and internal reliability. Multiple linear regression was then applied to estimate both the individual and combined effects of the three STP dimensions on sales outcomes, supported by conventional diagnostic checks for statistical assumptions. The empirical results reveal that while segmentation, targeting, and positioning yield positive coefficient directions, none attain statistical significance, and their joint contribution adds only marginal explanatory power. These findings imply that STP strategies, when implemented in isolation, may not directly enhance sales performance in the short run. The effectiveness of STP appears contingent on complementary managerial actions such as product/menu refinement, pricing adaptability, promotional intensity, service innovation, and localized market engagement. From a managerial standpoint, the study underscores the importance of aligning strategic marketing determinations with operational execution rather than relying solely on strategic intent. Theoretically, the research adds micro-level evidence to the mixed debate regarding the STP–performance linkage in small service firms. Future studies are encouraged to incorporate consumer-side metrics, experimental designs, or transaction-level panel data to better capture how STP strategies generate value throughout the customer decision process.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial interest refers to an individual’s desire to engage in business activities, driven by feelings of enjoyment and perceived personal benefit. Self-confidence represents a person’s belief and positive attitude toward their own abilities, the environment, or anticipated situations. Family support is the assistance provided by family members to help address challenges more effectively. Motivation is a condition that triggers behavior and is closely related to the work environment. Meanwhile, entrepreneurship education serves as a learning platform to enhance knowledge, competence, and the intention to develop one’s entrepreneurial potential. This study aims to examine the direct and indirect effects of self-confidence, family support, and motivation on entrepreneurial interest, with entrepreneurship education acting as a mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative descriptive-explanatory approach and involved 121 respondents selected through proportional random sampling. The findings reveal that self-confidence, family support, and motivation significantly influence entrepreneurial interest both directly and indirectly through entrepreneurship education. These results offer valuable insights for educators to better guide students in developing entrepreneurial skills. Students are encouraged not only to focus on product creation but also to deepen their skills in business management, marketing, and decision-making to support business growth. Future researchers are recommended to further expand this study by exploring additional variables and methodological improvements.

Abstract

Indicators of emotional maturity that can influence career decision-making among 12th-grade students include stress management ability, the ability to delay gratification, self-control, and emotional stability. The higher students' score on these indicators indicates their greater opportunity to make appropriate career decisions. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and career decision-making among 12th-grade students at State Senior High School 1 Pulau Rakyat Tua. This research employed a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The findings of this study indicate a correlation between emotional maturity and career decision-making in 12th-grade students at State Senior High School 1 Pulau Rakyat Tua. This relationship is positive, as evidenced by a Pearson correlation value of 0.365. The relationship between these two variables, as indicated by the Pearson correlation, is weak, given that the value does not exceed 0.40 or 0.365 < r. The absolute value of r is between 0.25 and 0.50. Career decision-making maturity in students contributes to a better understanding of themselves, such as recognizing their interests, talents, and weaknesses. It also involves exploring career opportunities that match their potential, including information about continuing education or employment.
