Abstract

This study examines how service quality shapes purchase decisions in traditional culinary businesses, emphasizing the mediating roles of trust and word-of-mouth (WOM). Adopting a quantitative design that combines descriptive and explanatory approaches, we surveyed visitors to traditional foodservice establishments. Data were analyzed with PLS-SEM to test the measurement and structural models. The outer model met standard reliability and validity criteria (indicator loadings ≥ 0.60, CR ≥ 0.70, AVE ≥ 0.50). Structural results show that service quality, trust, and WOM each exert significant direct effects on purchase decisions. In addition, service quality indirectly influences purchase decisions through trust and WOM, indicating partial mediation. Overall explanatory power for purchase decisions is substantial, suggesting the model captures the key mechanisms that convert service experiences into buying choices. The findings underscore that improving frontline reliability, responsiveness, and assurance enhances customer trust, which, together with positive WOM including community and group interactions amplifies purchasing outcomes. Practically, managers of traditional culinary businesses should prioritize service-process excellence, transparent value cues, and community-based engagement programs to cultivate trust and stimulate advocacy. The study contributes by simultaneously modeling trust and WOM as mediators in a traditional culinary context and by providing actionable guidance on service strategies that sustain competitiveness in increasingly crowded foodservice markets.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is an essential component of the educational process, including in Islamic education, which is characterized by a holistic and transcendental value orientation. Evaluation in Islamic education is not merely intended to measure students’ academic achievement, but also to assess the learning process and the internalization of faith, moral values, and Islamic behavior in students’ daily lives. This article aims to examine the concept of learning evaluation in Islamic education, its philosophical and theological foundations, as well as various approaches and evaluation models that are relevant to the context of Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design based on library research. The data sources include the Qur’an and Hadith, classical and contemporary literature on Islamic education, and relevant national and international journal articles on learning evaluation. Data were analyzed qualitatively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that learning evaluation in Islamic education is integrative in nature, encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, and is grounded in the principles of muhasabah, justice, honesty, and responsibility. The evaluation approaches include cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and holistic-integrative approaches. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest prevalence of early marriage in Southeast Asia. The lack of knowledge among adolescent girls about the negative impacts of early marriage is a major contributing factor to the high rates of child marriage. Digital educational media, such as e-booklets, are considered effective tools to enhance adolescents' understanding. This study aims to determine the relationship between the provision of education using e-booklet media and the level of knowledge among adolescent girls regarding the risks of early marriage. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was employed. The subjects were 53 female students from Primbana Private Senior High School in Medan. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using the chi-square test. Of the 53 respondents, 30 students (56.6%) received e-booklet education, while 23 students (43.4%) did not. A significant relationship was found between e-booklet education and increased knowledge about early marriage (p = 0.049; OR = 3.630; 95% CI: 1.155–11.406). E-booklet education effectively delivers information in a visual and interactive manner, making it easier to understand. Providing education through e-booklets is effective in enhancing adolescent girls' knowledge about early marriage. Active involvement of schools and healthcare facilities is necessary to implement similar educational media sustainably.

Abstract

Background Problems: The main problem addressed in this study is determining an appropriate ARIMA model to accurately forecast the movement of NTP in the plantation subsector in Jambi Province. Research Methods: This research uses a quantitative approach with secondary time series data from 2015–2025 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The analytical method applied is ARIMA using the Box-Jenkins approach, including identification, stationarity testing, parameter estimation, diagnostic testing, and model selection based on AIC and SC criteria. Finding/Results: The results show that NTP exhibits a fluctuating but increasing trend, indicating an improvement in farmers’ purchasing power. The selected ARIMA (1,1,1) model is able to capture data patterns and produce reliable forecasts. Conclusion: NTP is projected to increase in the future, indicating potential improvement in farmers’ welfare, with implications for policymakers to maintain price stability and support production efficiency.
