Abstract

Language is a means of interaction in social life. In the process of social interaction related to language use, there are often unpleasant things, such as expressions of anger, hatred, threats, cursing, cursing, and even harassment. This becomes a problem when such expressions are conveyed in public spaces. One of the interesting cases related to public speaking is the controversial speech case of Basuki Tjahja Purnama (BTP). The case of the BTP speech is linguistically interesting to study because it involves hot religious issues in Indonesia. BTP's controversial speech became a polemic because it was delivered in front of the wider community. This study reveals the controversial expressions of BTP using Praat and X-Bar Theory. The data from this study were controversial BTP speech recordings and BTP speech transcripts. This research data collection method using literature study. Data in the form of records will be broken into several parts. then the recorded data is also transcribed. The method of data analysis used the split method because the determining tools were in the language itself. The data analysis technique uses the comparative to equalize. Pratt was chosen because it is able to show pitch, intensity, formant and spectogram levels. Praat became an instrument for analyzing BTP's controversial speech recordings. This provides forensic evidence whether the speech contains speech that promotes hate speech. Based on the results of Praat's analysis, it is known that BTP utterances experience a certain emphasis when discussing issues or problems that concern him, especially those related to religion. Furthermore, X Bar Theory was used to analyze transcripts of BTP's controversial utterances. The X Bar theory is an analytical tool about the meaning of BTP speech. X Bar focuses on the core processes of lexical constituents in three domains, namely argument, complement and determinants. Based on the analysis of the X Bar theory, it is known that BTP's controversial expressions are aimed at certain parties. This is demonstrated by the emphasis on the argument domain.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan makna diksi konotatif dalam puisi-puisi Subagio Sastrowardoyo dan pemanfaatanya  sebagai sarana pembelajaran apresiasi sastra di SMA. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis konten. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan stilistiika. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan ditemukan diksi yang mengandung makna yang mengekspresikan jiwa religiusitas, mengekspresikan perasaan cinta, dan mengekpresikan jiwa kemanusiaan (kepedulian sosial). Pemahaman tentang diksi konotatif dalam puisi-puisi Subagio Sastrowardoyo relevan diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran apresiasi sastra di SMA yang meliputi pengetahuan menganalisis dan menulis puisi.  Analisis kata-kata yang bersifat simbolis dan bermakna konotatif ini dapat dilakukan melalui kajian stilistika.Kata kunci: diksi, puisi, stilistika, pembelajaran

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the mechanism in resolving conflicts that are reflected in the wo-men characters in novel 3 Srikandi by Silvarani. This research is descriptive study with a literary psycholo-gical approach. Collection data techniques used are content analysis. The stages of analysis conducted in this research are; (1) data reduction, sorts out the data that has been collected and groups in to categories. (2) da-ta display, make data analysis and description of each data in each category. (3) conclusion drawing, at this stage the researcher draws conclusions from the analysis that has been done. The results of this research indi-cate that conflict resolving can vary, it depends on the cause of the conflict. The selection of conflict resolving is not only influenced by the causes but also by the individual's personality. In novel 3 Srikandi by Silvarani found several categories of conflict resolving as follows; (1) conflict due to the id that is resolved by the ego. (2) conflicts due to id resolved by superego. (3) conflict due to ego which is resolved by id. (4) conflict due to ego which is resolved by the superego. (5) conflict due to supergo that is resolved by the ego. and (6) conflicts due to superego that are resolved by id.Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan mekanisme penyelesaian konflik yang tecermin dari tokoh perempuan dalam novel 3 Srikandi karya Silvarani. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian des-kriptif kulitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni content analisys. Tahapan analisis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu; (1) reduksi data, peneliti memilah-milah data yang telah terkumpul dan mengelompokkan ke dalam kategorinya;  (2) display data, peneliti mulai analisis data dan memberi deskripsi setiap data pada setiap kate-gori; (3) concusion drawing, pada tahap ini peneliti menarik simpulan dari analisis yang telah di-lakukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyelesaian konflik dapat berbeda-beda. Hal tersebut bergantung pada penyebab konflik itu. Pemilihan penyesaian konflik selain dipengaruhi oleh faktor penyebabnya juga dipengaruhi oleh kepribadian individu itu sendiri. Dalam novel 3 Srikandi karya Silvarani ditemukan beberapa kategori penyelesaian konflik. Konflik tersebut yakni sebagai berikut: (1) konflik akibat id yang diselesaikan oleh ego; (2) konflik akibat id yang diselesai-kan oleh superego; (3) konflik akibat ego yang diselesaikan oleh id; (4) konflik akibat ego yang dise-lesaikan oleh superego; (5) konflik akibat superego yang diselesaikan oleh ego; dan (6) konflik akibat superego yang diselesaikan oleh id.

Abstract

This research is proposed to describe and explain; (1) the ideas (mentifact) in Putri Jelumpang folklore, (2) the character’s activities (sociofact) of Putri Jelumpang folklore, (3)  the cultural outcomes (artifact) in Put-ri Jelumpang folklore, (4) the education value of Putri Jelumpang folktale. This research used descriptive qualitative method with literary anthropology approach. Sampling technique use purposive sampling. Collecting data technique use document analysis and interview. To validity the data, it uses triangulation of source. Data analysis technique use qualitative hermeneuticmethods. The results of this research shows that: (1) the ideas in Putri Jelumpang folktale were ideas about the human life and te idea of human relations with nature; (2) the character’s activities in Putri Jelumpang folktale were activities about equipment of hu-man life, and religious system; (3) there is no cultural outcomes in Putri Jelumpang folklore; (4) education value that can be find in Putri Jelumpang folklore is moral eduation value of good deeds, fullfillment of rghts, and honesty.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeksripsikan dan menjelaskan; (1) ide (mentifact) dalam cerita rakyat Putri Je-lumpang, (2) aktivitas tokoh (sosiofact) dalam cerita rakyat Putri Jelumpang, (3) hasil budaya (artifact) dalam cerita rakyat Putri Jelumpang, (4) nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam cerita rakyat Putri Jelumpang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan antropologi sastra. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling.  Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan analisis dokumen dan wawancara. Validitas data menggunakan tringulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode kualitatif hermeneutika. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) wujud ide atau gagasan dalam rakyat Putri Jelumpang meliputi, ide tentang hidup manusia dan ide tentang hubungan manusia dengan alam; (2) aktivitas tokoh dalam cerita rakyat Putri Jelumpangantara lain, aktivitas yang berhubungan dengan peralatan kehidupan manusia dan aktivitas yang berhubungan dengan sistem religi; (3) tidak ditemukan adanya hasil budaya dalam cerita rakyat Putri Jelumpang; (4) nilai pendidikan yang ditemukan dalam cerita rakyat Putri Jelumpang adalah nilai pendidikan moral perbuatan baik, pemenuhan hak, dan kejujuran.

Abstract

Bahasa adalah sistem lambang bunyi yang bersifat arbitrer yang digunakan oleh para anggota kelompok sosial untuk bekerja sama, berkomunikasi, dan mengidentifikasikan diri. Fungsi utama bahasa adalah sebagai alat komunikasi antar manusia baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Sosiolinguistik adalah antardisiplin ilmu yang mempelajari tentang bahasa dalam kaitannya dengan penggunaan bahasa itu sendiri di dalam masyarakat. Sosiolinguistik yang merupakan kajian ilmu bahasa dengan masyarakat tentu saja memiliki objek kajian di dalamnya. Dalam hal ini objek kajian tersebut adalah masalah-masalah yang ditemui sehingga perlu adanya pengkajian guna mencari jawaban atas pertanyaan yang ada sehingga hal ini akan menjadi kajian dimensi masalah dalam sosiolinguistik.Kata kunci: bahasa, sosiolinguistik, dimensi masalah sosiolinguistik

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the content of the developed multicultural values and the accuracy of the development of multicultural values with the components of Islamic Religious Education and Morals textbooks for class VIII. This type of research is qualitative with a library approach. Data were collected by reviewing documents, namely Islamic Religious Education and Moral textbooks for class VIII junior high school. Data analysis techniques include content analysis and critical analysis. Checking the validity of the findings is done by means of triangulation techniques. This study concludes that the content of multicultural values developed in the textbook is four values, namely tolerance, democracy, justice, and equality. The accuracy in developing multicultural values in the textbook component is said to be inaccurate because the percentage is 35.8%. Thus, there are multicultural values in Islamic Religious Education and Moral textbook, but the content needs to be developed proportionally.

Abstract

Local wisdom has values that often become the source of norms formation for people's life. Among them is the tradition of Labuhan Gunung Kombang in Malang. This study intended to reveal the Labuhan Gunung Kombang's local wisdom that grows and develops in harmony with Islamic values in Kedungsalam Village, Donomulyo, Malang. This is a descriptive qualitative research by employing ethnographic methods. Data were collected through observations, interviews and documentations to produce detailed and comprehensive accounts of different cultural and social phenomena. The result of study showed that local wisdom of Labuhan Gunung Kombang tradition has values of religion, togetherness, deliberation and mutual cooperation that are in line with Islamic teachings. Islam as a religion with a set of values and norms has influenced the patterns of culture and traditions for Kedungsalam people. However, the encounter of Islamic values and local wisdom in Labuhan Gunung Kombang ceremony is usually perceived as the process of cultural acculturation. It makes socio-cultural aspects of the local people not necessarily eroded by Islam.

Abstract

Religion and culture are often confronted diametrically, including Islam and Javanese culture. However, the intellectual, cultural treasures of Javanese cultural heritage in Serat Wedhatama show that this serat has a dimension of Islamic religiosity. The content of the Serat Wedhatama is essential for strengthening the practice of Islamic religiosity in society amid the moral degradation of the nation's generation. This research has a necessary contribution to inculcating religious and cultural values in the nation's generation. The research used a qualitative approach to reveal the dimensions of Islamic religiosity in Serat Wedhatama Pupuh Gambuh by KGPAA Mangkunegara IV. The study of the manuscript's contents shows that Serat Wedhatama Pupuh Gambuh contains five dimensions of Islamic religiosity: the dimension of belief, dimensions of religious practice, the dimension of treachery, and religious knowledge; and practice dimensions. This study also confirms a relationship between (Serat Jawa) as a product of culture and religious values. The values in Pupuh Gambuh Wedhatama Fiber can be used as parameters and guidelines for life. This study can also be used to answer the conditions of the people who are amid deculturation and de-religiosity.

Abstract

The used of code-switching in learning Indonesian was an overview of the situation of how the interaction between students and teacher in learning. Code-switching used in regards to communicating certainly have functions. This study aimed to describe function code switching used by speakers at SMK of Marisi Medan. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of study were the teacher and students. The objects were utterances of code-switching in Indonesian language learning at Vacational High School of Marisi Medan. Validity data technique used triangulation of data source and informant review. Data collection used listen and speak methods. Data analysis using the intralingual method. The result of research showed that function of code-switching at the time of process of Indonesian language learning are explained, reminded, reprimanded, emphasized, and asked.

Abstract

This research is a psycholinguistic research because it discusses about language acquisition. Focus of language acquisition will be discussed is language acquisition of child with severe mental disability, namely Angga, and a child with mild mental disability, namely Rafli. The purpose of this study is to explain the language acquisition of child with severe mental disability and a child with mild mental disability. This research is a qualitative research. The data of this research is basic vocabularies of child with severe mental disability and a child with mild mental disability. This research strategy is case study. This research was conducted at SLB YKK Pacitan. In this study, observation and questionnaires were used to collect the data. The results of this study were Angga, child with severe mental disability, understands 56 basic vocabularies of 200 basic vocabularies provided, while Rafli, a child with mild mental disability, was able to understand the 170 basic vocabularies. This is reasonable because the ability of child with severe mental disability and a child with mild mental disability has been very different. The child's "ability to understand" is reflected in the IQ of each child, if a child with mild mental disability rate ranges from 50-55 to 70, the child with severe mental disability ranges from 20-25 to 35-40, so the ability to understand this basic vocabularies is different.Keywords: psycholinguistic, language acquisition, children with mental disabilities PEMEROLEHAN BAHASA ANAK TUNAGRAHITA DI KABUPATEN PACITANAbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian psikolinguistik karena membahas salah satu objeknya, yaitu pemerolehan bahasa. Pemerolehan bahasa pada penelitian ini berfokus kepada pemerolehan bahasa anak tunagrahita berat, yaitu Angga, dan anak tunagrahita ringan, yaitu Rafli. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memaparkan pemerolehan bahasa pada anak tunagrahita berat dan anak tunagrahita ringan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu kosa kata dasar anak tunagrahita ringan dan anak tunagrahita berat. Strategi penelitian ini yaitu studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SLB YKK Pacitan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode observasi dan juga angket untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu Angga, anak tunagrahita berat, mampu memahami 56 kosa kata dasar dari total 200 kosa kata dasar yang disediakan, sementara Rafli, anak tunagrahita ringan, mampu memahami 170 kosa kata dasar dari total 200 kosa kata dasar yang disediakan. Hal ini wajar karena memang kemampuan anak tunagrahita berat dan ringan tentu saja berbeda, khususnya di dalam berbahasa. “Kemampuan memahami” anak tergambar pada IQ masing-masing anak, jika IQ tunagrahita ringan berkisar antara 50-55 hingga 70, maka tunagrahita berat berkisar 20-25 hingga 35-40, sehingga kemampuan memahami kosa kata dasar ini Angga dan Rafli berbeda.Kata kunci: psikolinguistik, pemerolehan bahasa, anak tunagrahita
