Abstract

Rock characteristics, such as failure criteria, play a critical role in the assessment of stability in rock engineering, alongside design factors. Stability in rock engineering is cohesion (c) and friction angle (j) are parameters of failure criteria obtained by performing direct shear test or triaxial test. However, the measurements require a certain number of intact rock samples.  On the restricted condition or preliminary study, an approach involves for predicting both parameters. Using data statistical analysis of Uniaxial Compressive Strength (sc) and Brazilian Tensile Strength (st) of limestone and gypsum, empirical equations to predict c dan j were resulted in this research. Cohesion is strongly determined by st with average constants in equations: c = 1.81st dan c = 1.84st, for limestone and gypsum. Cohesion of limestone depends on sc with average constant in equation: c = 0.22sc. Friction angle and rock strength ratio (sc/st) are related by exponential equations: c/st = 2.1624e0.0314j dan sc/st = 3.6936e0.0183j, for limestone and gypsum, respectively. This approach using constructed empirical equations provides the prediction of c and j that relevant with theoretical values, indicated by 2.8% and 8.22% relative deviations. These empirical equations are useful for predicting the values ​​of c and j.

Abstract

The principal of the madrasah is expected to be an agent of change, capable of leading the digital transformation process in the madrasah environment. Therefore, optimizing the role of the madrasah principal in promoting digital learning is very important, not only to meet the needs of the times, but also to improve the overall quality of education in the madrasah. This study adopts a qualitative approach. This study aims to identify and understand how the principal of the madrasah in MAN Bondowoso optimizes her role in promoting digital-based learning. Data was collected through observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's (1994) interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The principal of the MAN Bondowoso madrasah has been able to optimize his role in supporting the digital transformation of the madrasah. With the role of educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator, the principal of the madrasah effectively improves the competency of digital teachers, manages the technology infrastructure, and formulates policies that support digital-based learning. These efforts create a more innovative and adaptive educational environment. The principal has also been able to motivate teachers and students to actively participate in the digitalization process. The overall effort to optimize this role contributes significantly to improving the quality of education and students' readiness to face the challenges of the digital age.

Abstract

Graduate data from the tracer study process is critical in assessing the quality of a university's graduates. From this data, universities can see an objective picture to measure and evaluate the curriculum, materials, and the achievement of learning competencies so far whether they are following what is expected by graduate users. This will provide input to university management in making strategies and policies to improve quality. However, the problem is that the amount of data available so far has not been maximized properly to assist management in making decisions. Data on graduates and users of existing graduates are only processed into semester and annual reports and there is no in-depth analysis. So management does not get information that helps improve graduates' quality in the future. Optimization of clustering methods using the elbow method with a comparison of other distance formulas such as Euclidean Distance, Mahalanobis Distance, and Manhattan City Distance to improve the performance of mapping results. The DBI result obtained is 1.89 for the number of 6 clusters.

Kajian ini mengulas nilai bangunan baru atas rumah tinggal sederhana di Kota Jayapura. Nilai bangunan baru ini dihitung menggunakan data empiris berupa ukuran luas dan jenis material bangunan. Data luasan bangunan dan jenis material bangunan diambil dari pengembang properti pada tahun 2023. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dari data empiris tersebut, nilai bangunan baru rumah tinggal sederhana dengan luasan 36 meter persegi sebasar Rp160.581.000,00

Abstract

The installation of safety signs in the palm oil factory of PT. Sewangi Sawit Sejahtera is still insufficiently attended to by the workers, as evidenced by the presence of several outdated safety signs that are no longer clearly visible, rendering the conveyed messages unclear. The general objective of this study is to determine the Influence of Safety Signs on Workers' Safety Behavior at the Palm Oil Factory of PT. Sewangi Sawit Sejahtera in 2021. The significance of this research lies in its role as a platform for exchanging information and providing education on workplace accident prevention. This study adopts a Quasi-Experimental Non-Randomized Control Group Pretest and Posttest Design, involving 40 workers in the factory. The research was conducted between August and September 2021. The findings indicate a significant impact on workers' safety behavior before and after the intervention in the Experimental group, as evidenced by the significance level of the paired t-test. Logistic Regression analysis reveals that the most influential variable on safety behavior is the presence of safety signs, followed by tenure, supervision, and age. Therefore, it is recommended that efforts be made to enhance socialization activities and training to improve workers' knowledge regarding workplace safety and health, along with repairing or replacing unclear or damaged safety signs within the company premises.

Abstract

The paper aims to answer questions about how the procedure for filing clemency under Law No. 22 of 2002, as well as what are the consequences of repeatedly filing clemency by death convicts, and how Islamic law evaluates it. The results of this study concluded that the procedure for filing clemency according to Law no. 22 of 2002 creates more legal certainty for convicts who want to apply for clemency regarding the requirements and the time frame, because it stipulates the timeframe and procedures for completing the clemency request for each agency. Meanwhile, repeated applications for clemency will have an impact on the convict's psyche, because the submission is not necessarily accepted. What is clear is that the legal process will be protracted, then hinders the enforcement of the rule of law. Whereas in Islamic law, clemency is up to the victim's guardian, whether to accept or reject his apology. Whereas in Islamic law, the exclusion postponed is only when the guardian is in a crazy state and is not yet mature, then waiting to recover and mature

Abstract

The background of this research is that the behavior of teenagers, including students, lacks concern for good behavior. The character of students tends to be less concerned about the educational environment. This research described social intelligence as the character education empowerment for students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Several types of methods were used to collect research data, observation, interviews, literature study and documentation for second semester class A students. The results of this research social intelligence is an important aspect to realize character education for the students because education must develop the students' personalities in the real life. Students as the national generation have important roles and responsibilities. Social norms have important roles to realize harmonic social relationships, realizing tranquility, and keeping alert in realizing qualified character students. Social intelligence in students is important to enrich their knowledge and insight. Thus, the students must have sensitivity and awareness of character education empowerment on students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process during the covid 19 pandemic for students, especially in strengthening character education at SDN Rejosari 1. The objectives are: To describe the pattern of Character Education at home during the pandemic, To determine the results of the strengthening Learning assistance at home, To determine the implementation of values Character Education during the Covid 19 pandemic at SDN Rejosari 1. This research method uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study research. Research data collection techniques includes, interviews, observation, documentation. The collected data were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, verification and triangulation. The results showed that there were four patterns used in the implementation of character education, namely through learning materials, school rules, student achievement awards and daily worship practices and spiritual guidance. The strengthening of character values at SDN Rejosari 1 goes through three stages, namely, the value transformation stage, the value transaction stage and the value trans-internalization stage. The strengthening of integrated character values in learning at SDN Rejosari 1 includes: religion, discipline, perseverance, curiosity, care, and responsibility, with the implementation of learning at home through whatsApp groups and learning assistance.

Abstract

Perumda Air Minum Tirta Silaupiasa Asahan Regency is a regional company that has the authority to provide clean water consumption needs for the community in Asahan Regency. Currently, clean water needs, especially for households and industries in Asahan Regency, are supplied by Perumda Air Minum Tirta Silaupiasa which is located at Jalan Jend. Ahmad Yani No. 33, Kisaran, Sei Renggas, West Kisaran, Sei Renggas, West Kisaran City District, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra 21213. Currently, the need for clean water for the people of Asahan Regency comes from Perumda Air Minum Tirta Silaupiasa Asahan Regency. However, the amount of clean water provided for people living in areas with high cubic water in Asahan Regency is still relatively small, this is because the Perumda Air Minum Tirta Silaupiasa Asahan Regency does not know which areas have high, medium and low cubic water usage. Therefore, Perumda Air Minum Tirta Silaupiasa Asahan Regency needs to follow up on this problem by grouping areas based on water cubic. To manage the data, a technique is needed that can be used to extract information from the data, the technique is Data Mining. The purpose of this system is to find out how to analyze water cubic data using the K-Means Algorithm and design a website-based system with the PHP programming language and MySQL Database to determine areas with high, medium, and low water cubic. K-means clustering is a data analysis method or data mining method that performs unsupervised modeling and is one of the data clustering methods using a partition system. The data obtained in the recap of cubic water data at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Silaupiasa Asahan Regency for the period 2021-2023. The research method used in this research is quantitative research method. From the results of implementation and testing the results of the calculation of the K-means clustering method are the results of clustering cubic water in the Asahan district area with high water cubic including West Kisaran with a minimum value of 101727.9655 and East Kisaran with a minimum value of 101727.9655. Then in the Asahan district area with medium water cubic including Air Joman with a minimum value of 151144.2025 and Simpang Empat with a minimum value of 151144.2025. Then in the Asahan district area with low water cubic including B.P Mandoge with a minimum value of 66801.4373, Buntu Pane with a minimum value of 105608.8293, Desa Gajah with a value of 59925.2623, Lubuk Palas with a value of 75832.9197, Meranti with a value of 2892.8137, Sei Kamah II with a value of 47997.2206, and Sei Kepayang Barat with a value of 197781.2457.

Abstract

Toko Cosmetik Sukses Bersama is an individually owned small business store that has been established since 2021. The brands of cosmetic products marketed include Hanasui, Wardah, Emina, Implora, Pixy, Kahf, Ms Glow, and OMG. Cosmetics are used to enhance physical appearance and have a positive impact on a person's self-confidence. In the last period of time, the large number of competition in marketing cosmetic products that occurred made the store's sales experience a decline in sales which resulted in a decrease in revenue. Making sales reports at Toko Cosmetik Sukses Bersama is still done by bookkeeping which allows recording errors. Shop owners still visit small shops directly or receive orders via phone calls. Therefore, the use of E-CRM strategies will provide convenience for customers and sales. By doing 3 CRM strategy efforts such as Acuiring (Getting Customers), Enchancing (Strengthening Relationships), Retaining (Maintaining Customers). So that by implementing the E-CRM strategy at Toko Cosmetik Sukses Bersama can increase cosmetic sales and bring in new customers.
