Abstract

This study aims to reveal some of the facts of life in Egypt in 1975 through the novel Woman at Point Zero by Nawal El Saadawi, using the theory of social literature by Alan Swingwood. The method used by the researcher is the qualitative descriptive approach, in the type of desk research in which all the data collected are Study, process and analyze it completely using literary sources. The approach used by the researcher is a multidisciplinary approach that combines the study of Arabic literature and social science. The results of the research in this study show that the social realities expressed by Nawal through her novels, which are domestic, harassment, sexual violence, economic poverty, and political support, are interconnected and even lead to the continuation of the reality of prostitution as the social reality. In Egypt, Nawal El Saadawi, as the author of the novel Woman at Point Zero, is a great novelist and socialist feminist activist. She had a global vision that she fought for in daily life and through her novels, and because of her global vision, her novel was considered influential in Egyptian society, especially Egyptian women, and women around the world in general. This study includes some research implications. Firstly, this research is expected to provide some description of the reality of life in Egypt, which led to the emergence of prostitution in Egypt. Secondly, it is hoped that this research will provide a complete picture of Nawal El Saadawi’s life and respond to the accusations directed against her. Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata Dari Rumah (KKN-DR) dilaksanakan secara individu di wilayah tinggal masing-masing mahasiswa, menghadapi keterbatasan dalam interaksi sosial, dana, dan perizinan di beberapa wilayah. Melalui KKN-DR, mahasiswa berinteraksi dengan masyarakat, menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan, dan mengabdikan diri kepada masyarakat. KKN-DR difokuskan padapencegahan Covid-19 dengan sosialisasi protokol kesehatan, kampanye bahaya Covid-19, danpenyediaan perangkat kesehatan. Mahasiswa memiliki kesempatan untuk mengaktualisasikankompetensi dalam pengajaran dan penelitian. Hasilnya mencakup pendidikan, penelitian, danpengabdian masyarakat, sebagai bagian dari tugas tri darma perguruan tinggi. Kegiatan KKN-DRdiharapkan memberikan efek positif jangka panjang bagi mahasiswa dan masyarakat, meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan, serta memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam upayapencegahan penyebaran Covid-19. KKN-DR kelompok 98 berhasil dilaksanakan di tengah keterbatasan pandemi, membuktikan adaptabilitas dan kontribusi mahasiswa kepada masyarakatdalam situasi sulit. Keberhasilan KKN-DR ini melibatkan peningkatan kesadaran akan protokolkesehatan, kampanye bahaya Covid-19, dan implementasi langkah-langkah pencegahan. Dampakpositif jangka panjang KKN-DR ini terhadap mahasiswa dan masyarakat menjadi bukti keberhasilannya.

Abstract

Early detection of diabetic neuropathy is very important for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus because early prevention can reduce morbidity and mortality. One of the examinations to detect diabetic neuropathy is the Ipswich Touch Test (IpTT). The purpose of this study was to determine the Effectiveness of the Diabetic Foot Check Up Module and Short Film: Ipswich Touch Test in Improving Knowledge and Skills in Detecting Sensory Neuropathy of Diabetes Mellitus Health Workers. The research method used was Quasi-experimental with a pre-test and post-test with control group design with a non-parametric Wilcoxon test to analyze knowledge and skills before and after treatment, a total of 60 respondents. A significant test result of 0.0001 was obtained for the intervention group, namely there was a difference in skills before and after treatment in the form of counseling with media in the form of short films, while in the control group a significant test result of 0.0001 was obtained, namely there was a difference in skills before and after treatment in the form of counseling with media in the form of modules with a significance level of 0.05 because p value <0.05. The results of the significant test were obtained at 0.0001 for the intervention group, namely there was a difference in knowledge before and after being given treatment in the form of counseling with media in the form of short films, while in the control group the results of the significant test were obtained at 0.0001, namely there was a difference in knowledge before and after being given treatment in the form of counseling with media in the form of modules with a significance level of 0.05 because the p value <0.05. The conclusion on the results of knowledge in the intervention group before being given intervention in the form of education, modules and short films was that they had good knowledge as much as 50% and after being given education they had good knowledge as much as 90% meaning that there was an increase in knowledge before and after being given intervention, meaning that there was an increase of 40%, while in the intervention group they had good skills 0%, enough 90%, less 10% after being given intervention there was a change to good as much as 83.3% meaning that there was a significant change before being given treatment and after being given treatment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai dampak psikologis lain dari kekerasanseksual pada anak korban bujuk rayu. Korban kekerasan seksual anak akibatdari bujuk rayu yang dimaksud, bahwa membujuk anak untuk berbuat asusilamerupakan bagian dari sebuah kejahatan. Kajiannya meliputi bagaimanadinamika psikologis dari korban kekerasan seksual bujuk rayu pada saatmenghadapi permasalahannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui gambaran dinamika psikologis dari anak korban kekerasanseksual bujuk rayu. Pengalaman dari subjek atau informan yang mengalamitindakan kekerasan seksual bujuk rayu digali dan dikaji menggunakan studikasus, dengan menelaah terhadap dokumen laporan sosial penulis pada saatmenjadi pekerja sosial pendamping korban. Dokumen kerja dari penulisdianalisis dan disajikan dengan deskriptif kualitatif studi kasus. Hasilpenelitian ini disajikan sebagai gambaran mengenai dampak psikologissubjek yang mengalami peristiwa menjadi korban kekerasan seksual bujukrayu selain pengalaman traumatis pada korban.

Abstract

Pesantren (Islamic boarding school), as the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia, requires well-organized management in order to successfully lead the students to build an Islamic competency and also excel in the fields of science and technology. The management of Pesantren should be adjusted towards the demands of the era and the needs of students after completing their education at Pesantren while maintaining Islamic competence as a characteristic of Islamic boarding schools. A pesantren providing a basis for life skills in Salatiga is Agro Nur El-Falah Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this research is to analyze in detail the Management Innovation of the Agro Nur el-Falah Islamic Boarding School in providing life skills competencies to the students. The researcher uses a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of describing a situation objectively in accordance with the description of the situation. Therefore, this research will further describe life skills-based Islamic education management innovation at Agro Nur El-Falah Islamic Boarding School Salatiga. The results of this research indicate that Islamic education at Agro Nur El-Falah Islamic Boarding School has successfully provided not only Islamic knowledge as a key feature of Islamic education, but also life skills competencies to the students.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance workers' productivity by strengthening their understanding of aqidah, thereby fodtering intrinsic motivation that promotes dedication, honesty, and responsibility in the workplace. The implementation method involved interactive counseling conducted in six sessions, which included a pre-test, material presentation, and a post-test. The participants were 13 workers from “Roya Perkulakan” in Mantingan, Ngawi, East Java, with the material focusing on strengthening aqidah, worship practices, and the application of Islamic values in daily life. The data analysis technique used was quantitative analysis with a One Group Pretest-Posttest experimental design to measure changes in program outcomes. The result of this activity indicated an improvement in aqidah understanding from 49% before the program to 96% after its implementation. This improvement demonstrated that aqidah plays a significant role in improving work productivity. A strong understanding of aqidah shapes workers into individuals who are honest, disciplined, and responsible, thereby contributing to enhanced productivity and work quality.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Central Statistics Agency at Malang in 2022 noted that 14% of the 360,000 unemployed were college graduates. Doubts about career choices are considered to be able to contribute to high unemployment rates. Students who are in the early adult development phase are required to be able and realistic in choosing a career. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision-making among final-year students in Malang City. The respondents used in this research were 100 people using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the correlation test show that there is an influence of self-efficacy on career decision-making (R = 0.904 and R squared = 0.817). This shows that self-efficacy is able to have an influence of 81.7% on final-year student career decision-making. The implication of this research is that students are expected to be able to further increase their self-efficacy to improve career decisions in the future.KEY WORDS: Self-efficacy; career decision making; college student ABSTRAKBadan Pusat Statistik Kota Malang tahun 2022 mencatat bahwa 14% dari 360.000 pengangguran adalah berasal dari lulusan perguruan tinggi. Keraguan akan pemilihan karir dianggap mampu menyumbang tingginya angka pengangguran. Mahasiswa yang termasuk ke dalam fase perkembangan dewasa awal, dituntut mampu dan realistik dalam menentukan karir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya keterkaitan antara efikasi diri terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir pada mahasiswa akhir di Kota Malang. Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya pengaruh dari efikasi diri terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir sebesar R = 0,904 dan R Square = 0,817. Hal ini menunjukan efikasi diri mampu memberikan pengaruh sebesar 81,7% terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir mahasiswa akhir. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa diharapkan mampu semakin meningkatkan efikasi diri untuk meningkatkan keputusan karir di masa mendatang.KATA KUNCIEfikasi diri; pengambilan keputusan karir; mahasiswa tingkat akhir Copyright ©2024. Abstract

This study aimed to know the use of Arabic language and the application of Arabic culture by young people of Arab descent in Banjarmasin City in their daily lives. The methodology used is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with young people of Arab descent who live in Banjarmasin City. The results showed that the beginning of the arrival of Arabs to Banjarmasin City was related to their journey from Surabaya, then sailed by sea to Nagara, continued to Kuin in Banjarmasin City and then formed a settlement from their community which was later called an Arab village. The language and culture of the Arab descendants of Banjarmasin city are diverse, with code-mixing and code-switching, wedding traditions, religious events, food, and more. But, not all of them use the language and practice typical Arabic culture very strongly. Their language, culture and daily activities often follow those of general Banjarmasin people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out what leadership styles are in the novel Merindu Baginda Nabi. The background of this research is to examine what leadership styles are contained in the novel Merindi Baginda Nabi and how to practice them. The method used in this study is a qualitative type of literature (library research), which is a type of research that refers to the literature of literature such as book literature, articles and e-journals. The results show that there are 9 leadership styles in the novel Merindu Baginda Nabi by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, namely: Supportive Leadership Style, Democratic Leadership Style, Educational Leadership Style, Persuasive Leadership Style, Innovative Leadership Style, Motivative Leadership Style, Charismatic Leadership Style, Fatherly Leadership Style , and Participatory Leadership Style. Because novels can be an educational tool or facility in the process of leadership formation, with novels leaders can learn a lot about leadership styles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan pendidikan karakter di PAUD Baiturrohmah dan PAUD Kenanga Asri, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangannya, dan merumuskan rekomendasi praktis perbaikan. Selain itu juga menganalisis kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan karakter sangat penting bagi pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) di Indonesia, mempersiapkan anak untuk menjadi warga negara dan mengembangkan sifat-sifat kepribadian. Namun rendahnya pendidikan karakter dapat terhambat oleh pengetahuan orang tua, kondisi keluarga yang tidak mendukung, dan ketidakmampuan menjadi teladan. Pemerintah Indonesia meluncurkan program Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Integratif dan Holistik untuk mengatasi tantangan ini.Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif, memanfaatkan observasi dan analisis mendalam terhadap data dari makalah yang diterbitkan di jurnal lokal dan internasional, memanfaatkan akses luas terhadap bahan tertulis dan soft copy.Budaya Islam di Indonesia sangat penting dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, dan kepala sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter. Mereka mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip Islam ke dalam kehidupan sekolah, mengajarkan nilai-nilai keluarga, komunitas, dan masyarakat. Program pendidikan karakter di PAUD Baiturrohmah dan PAUD Kenanga Asri bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan perilaku baik dan pemahaman terhadap ajaran Islam sekaligus menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, jujur, dan tertib. Komunikasi yang efisien, keterampilan manajemen, dan kepemimpinan yang etis sangat penting untuk keberhasilan implementasi.
