Abstract

This study examines the concept of integration of knowledge in the context of Islamic education, focusing on the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy. The main objective of this study is to understand the meaning and relevance of integrating knowledge within the framework of Islamic thought to realize holistic education. This study uses a literature analysis method, exploring the theoretical and practical understanding of integrating knowledge from related primary and secondary sources. The results of this study indicate that integration of knowledge according to the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy is not only about combining curricula but also involves a holistic learning experience that combines spiritual, intellectual, and practical aspects. A deep understanding of Islamic values is integrated into the educational process to form individuals who are not only academically competent but also have good morals and strong spiritual awareness. This study contributes to the literature on Islamic education by providing a deeper understanding of the concept of integration of knowledge and a basis for developing educational strategies that focus on holism and harmony between knowledge and spiritual values in the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

Understanding human character in Islam plays an important role in supporting the success of Islamic education. This education is realized through a deep understanding of the concept of learners, the duties of educators, the formulation of objectives, and a curriculum that is in accordance with Islamic values. In addition, the use of appropriate learning methods at each stage of student development, both physically and spiritually, as well as the implementation of evaluations that are oriented towards the development of human potential are also important aspects. All of these efforts aim to always remind humans that Allah is the ultimate goal of life. This study aims to examine human character from the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy. With a library research approach, this study analyzes various thoughts of Muslim philosophers, both classical and contemporary, regarding human character. The results of the study show that in Islam, human character has complex dimensions, including physical, spiritual, social, and intellectual aspects. Human character is not only seen as an individual entity, but also as a social being who is responsible for the environment and society. The implication of this study is the importance of Islamic education in developing all human potential as a caliph (leader) on earth. Islamic education does not only aim to create knowledgeable individuals, but also to shape human character that is able to carry out its role and responsibilities in the world, in accordance with divine values ​​that will bring them back to Allah as the ultimate goal.

Abstract

When a traffic accident occurs, many people feel hesitant to help, perhaps there is a reason for their hesitation in providing first aid. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review method to determine the level of public concern for accident victims and public understanding of first aid. From data analysis, 15 articles were found that were in accordance with the research topic with the result that knowledge was an important part in triggering courage to take action, without knowledge it would be difficult to take real action. Especially in terms of first aid, this really requires knowledge that is truly mastered. People actually want to help accident victims, but they are worried that help given without knowledge will backfire and become a liability to the police. Apart from that, the conditions of the incident also influence someone to help.   Abstract Saat terjadi kecelakaan lalu lintas  banyak masyarakat yang merasa ragu untuk menolong, mungkin ada alasan atas keraguan melakukan pertolongan pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literatur Review dalam kajian sosiologi untuk mengetahui tingkat kepedulian masyarakat terhadap korban kecelakaan dan pemahaman masyarakat pada pertolongan pertama. Dari analisis data ditemukan 15 artikel yang sesuai dengan topik penelitian dengan hasil bahwa, pengetahuan menjadi bagian penting dalam memicu keberanian dalam melakukan sebuah tindakan, tanpa pengetahuan akan sulit untuk melakukan suatu aksi nyata. Apalagi dalam hal pertolongan pertama, ini sangat membutuhkan ilmu yang benar-benar dikuasai. Masyarakat sebenarnya ingin melakukan pertolongan pada korban kecelakaan hanya saja khawatir pertolongan yang diberikan tanpa pengetahuan akan menjadi bumerang dan menjadi pertanggung jawaban kepada pihak kepolisian. Selain itu kondisi kejadian juga mempengaruhi seseorang untuk melakukan pertolongan.

Abstract

Writing quotations and bibliography is an integral part of scientific work that reflects the credibility of the information source and recognition of other people's work. However, problems in writing quotations and bibliography often occur, especially among students. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of writing quotations and bibliography among students and identify various problems faced by students in this process. The method used in this research is a quantitative survey with a random sampling technique of 100 students from various study programs. The research results show that although the majority of students understand the importance of writing quotations and bibliography correctly, many of them still experience difficulties in following existing guidelines, especially regarding the format and how to refer to various types of sources. The main factors influencing this problem are a lack of understanding of academic writing standards as well as a lack of training regarding the use of reference manager software. This research suggests that universities provide further training regarding writing quotations and bibliography, as well as encouraging the use of tools to improve the quality of students' scientific work.

Abstract

One type of literary work, the novel, is expected to benefit its readers by teaching them to pay attention to issues related to social life and encouraging them to behave well. Novels usually describe the reality of human life and its environment. This research focuses on imperative sentences in Selena Tere Liye's novels and what they mean. Qualitative descriptive data analysis method is used in this research. The data is collected through listening method, which is a note-taking technique. The results show that intrasitive imperative sentences exist in Tere Liye's novel Selena and have eight meanings. Among them are imperative sentences of request and demand, imperative sentences of hope, imperative sentences of prohibition and omission, imperative sentences of invitation, and imperative sentences of appeal. There are eighty important sentences from the data exposure and findings. The imperative sentence of request with 48 data is the most found, while the imperative sentence of omission with 2 data is the least.

Abstract

An obstacle that students often face when they write scientific papers is the bibliography, which must be done to avoid plagiarism. Due to the large number of references that students need when writing scientific papers, some students will find it difficult to make it manually. Therefore, the Mendeley application is needed to facilitate the preparation of the bibliography automatically. Many students do not know how to use the Mendeley application and do not even know how to use it. This training is held online through the Zoom application and is aimed at general students who want to learn to use a practical application called Mendeley to create an automatic bibliography. The training is a collection of activities that aim to help students manage their references independently. Thus, the quality of education in Indonesia is also expected to improve. The expected results of this training are an increase in participants' knowledge and understanding of the use of the Mendeley application and an increase in participants' skills in using the application to complete various forms of scientific writing, such as journals, theses, and final assignments.

Abstract

Adolescent language has undergone major changes over time, with slang changing the use of standard Indonesian. This causes teenagers to be less aware of the importance of using standard Indonesian as a national identity and professional communication tool. The purpose of this study is to improve adolescents' understanding of the use of standard Indonesian in academic and social contexts. The method used was to review literature from various scientific sources to look at patterns of language use, factors causing the dominance of slang, and strategies to encourage the use of standardized language. The results show that the development of social media, the surrounding environment, and the dominance of mass media slang affect the low use of standard Indonesian. The perception that standardized language is too rigid also exacerbates this. To improve standard language habits, strategic actions such as language teaching in educational institutions, language regulations, and the active role of families are needed. The results of this study are expected to raise adolescents' awareness of the importance of using official Indonesian as an effective way to communicate and mark their national identity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) analyze the poetical structure found in Muhammad Yamin's poem Language, Bangsa. (2) interpretation of the content from the perspective of the reader. This study's methodology is a qualitative descriptive approach. Reading, reading, and recording strategies are the methods utilized to acquire the data. The verses of Muhammad Yamin's poem Bahasa, Bangsa serve as the source of the research's data. Methods of data analysis employed It is a content analysis technique used in this investigation. The study's findings demonstrate that: (1) Each poem's inherent structure takes the form of rhymes or classic poetry. Considering the sentence structure (2) the interpretation analysis.

Abstract

The role of language and language style in literary works-especially song lyrics and short stories-is the subject of this research. Language is a means of communication, and through literary works, ideas, emotions, and thoughts can be conveyed. According to Keraf's theory, word choice (diction) and language styles, such as rhetorical and figurative, are very important to produce beautiful works. The intrinsic and extrinsic elements of literary works are studied in this research. Intrinsic elements include theme, plot, characters, and setting, while extrinsic elements include social, cultural, and author biographical factors. The study shows that the appeal of literary works is influenced by the diction and majas chosen. Short stories have an aesthetic and emotional effect on readers due to their language style, which makes them a good medium for conveying moral messages and creative ideas.

Abstract

The use of diction and language style used on the Instagram accounts @kumpulan_puisi and @prestigeholics, which share content about life motivation, happiness, love, and relationships, is the subject of this study. The data collected from the captions posted by the two accounts were collected through qualitative research methodology supplemented by documentation techniques. While language style was studied through the application of majas such as personification and metaphor, diction analysis focused on connotation and denotation meanings. The results showed that the use of diction in both accounts with deep and meaningful word choices reflected feelings, warnings, and advice to readers. Whether through direct comparison (metaphor) or giving human nature to inanimate objects (personification), the language style used enriches the meaning of the message to be conveyed. According to this study, diction and style play an important role in the formation of inspirational and emotional messages. They also have the ability to encourage readers to reflect on their lives and their relationships.
