Abstract

In the era of globalisation, the use of gadgets has increased rapidly, including among children, bringing both positive and negative impacts. In children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), gadgets trigger aggression, reduce focus, and lead to repetitive behaviours, stimming, and babbling, making them a challenge for therapists. This study aims to analyse therapists' stress management in handling children with ASD who are exposed to gadgets. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with four informants through interviews, observations, and documentation, the data were analysed using NVivo 12. The results show that therapists manage stress through relaxation, emotional release, and mindfulness, which are generally effective in preventing burnout, although there are differences in satisfaction among the informants.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, life skills are a key factor in improving human resource quality, particularly in entrepreneurship. PKBM Tim Suara Masyarakat Dawuan, Karawang Regency, implements entrepreneurship training based on life skills to strengthen learners’ economic independence. This study applied a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, involving four informants: PKBM managers, training tutors, and program alumni. Data analysis was conducted systematically using Nvivo 15. The findings reveal that training management at PKBM Tim Suara Masyarakat Dawuan is carried out through careful planning based on learner needs, participatory learning methods, and continuous evaluation. Supporting factors include financial assistance from external partners, adequate facilities, and the active role of tutors in motivating participants. However, challenges remain, particularly low awareness among school-age learners who struggle to recognize the importance of life skills and economic independence. This study contributes to the limited literature on life skill-based entrepreneurship training in non-formal education in Indonesia. Practically, it provides strategic recommendations for PKBM to maximize training success, enabling the development of independent, creative, and competitive graduates.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought fundamental changes to hospital governance. One strategic instrument that plays a crucial role is the Hospital Management Information System, as regulated in Minister of Health Regulation Number 82 of 2013. SIMRS functions not only as an administrative system but also as a decision support system that provides real-time and integrated data to support managerial decision-making. This study uses a literature review method by analyzing various recent research results related to the implementation and optimization of SIMRS in hospitals. The results show that SIMRS can improve administrative efficiency, accelerate patient data access, strengthen inter-departmental coordination, and facilitate data-driven decision-making. However, several obstacles remain, including high implementation costs, user resistance to change, system complexity, limited cross-module integration, and data security risks. Optimizing SIMRS requires a continuous training strategy for all staff, system adjustments to hospital needs, regular software updates, and close collaboration between the information technology team and medical personnel.

Abstract

Doctors’ performance is a key factor in determining the quality of hospital services. However, various challenges such as heavy workloads, limited resources, and increasing demands for service quality often reduce the effectiveness of medical staff. In this context, transformational leadership is considered a relevant approach to enhance doctors’ motivation, commitment, and performance. This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership in improving doctors’ performance in hospitals through a comprehensive literature review. The research method employed is a literature review by examining various articles, books, and research reports related to transformational leadership and doctors’ performance in hospitals. The analysis was conducted descriptively and critically to identify the relationship between theory and practice in the field, as well as to formulate implementation strategies suitable for the context of Indonesian hospitals. The findings indicate that transformational leadership, through its four main dimensions inspirational motivation, idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration is able to enhance work motivation, strengthen organizational commitment, and encourage doctors’ innovation in healthcare services. The application of transformational leadership has also been proven relevant in fostering an adaptive, participatory, and quality-oriented organizational culture.

Abstract

Nurses' job satisfaction is a vital component that influences the quality of hospital services and the sustainability of healthcare delivery. Leadership style, particularly that of head nurses and nurse managers, plays a significant role in shaping nurses' job satisfaction. This study aims to examine the relationship between leadership style and nurses' job satisfaction through a literature review. The method employed was a systematic review of ten national and international articles published between 2015 and 2025 that are relevant to the topic. The findings reveal that transformational, democratic, and participative leadership styles are positively associated with nurses' job satisfaction, as they enhance motivation, loyalty, and create a supportive work climate. In contrast, authoritarian and laissez-faire leadership styles tend to decrease job satisfaction due to limited recognition of nurses' contributions and lack of participatory opportunities. In conclusion, the implementation of effective leadership styles, especially transformational leadership, is essential to improve nurses' job satisfaction and ultimately enhance the overall quality of hospital services.

This is seen in the following: The selection stage is routinely every year to compile drug needs by involving all managers with activities to adjust available drug items but still below the standards of the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The procurement stage by carrying out planning and procurement through the stages of providing available capital/funds with the entire required funds sourced from the Regional Budget and Special Autonomy Funds and the procurement of each drug item as of May 2025 as many as 278 types of drugs. The distribution stage by looking at the match between the drug and the stock card to avoid the condition of drug stock in the empty, insufficient, safe or excess category and to affect the requested drug demand and the level of drug availability for 12 months. The user stage by looking at the number of drug items per prescription sheet that have been listed in the system but there are some drug items that cannot be served and drugs that are correctly labeled have complied with the rules. Suggestions for the need to improve selection so that drug needs are in accordance with the standards of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, adding funds so that all drugs are available, monitoring drug distribution by matching drugs with stock cards and providing drug items for each prescription sheet in full.
