Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of telemedicine services, patient trust, and satisfaction on interest in using digital health platforms. In the digital age, healthcare platforms such as telemedicine offer easy access to medical services, but the adoption of these platforms is influenced by several factors, including patient trust and satisfaction with services. Patient trust relates to their perception of data security and service quality, while satisfaction is influenced by the user's experience during interaction with the platform. The method used in this study is literature review by collecting data from relevant journals and articles published between 2019 and 2023. Data is obtained through international and national databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and Scholar. The results show that all three variables have an interrelated role in influencing patients' interest in using digital health platforms. Effective and accessible telemedicine services provide convenience that encourages patients to switch to digital platforms. Patients' confidence in data security and service quality further increases their convenience in using this platform. Patient satisfaction built from positive experiences while interacting with the platform will encourage them to continue using the service.

Abstract

Risk management is a crucial aspect of hospital management to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and smooth operations. The implementation of integrated risk management helps hospitals identify, assess, and manage risks, both clinical and non-clinical, to minimize injuries, accidents, and financial losses. This article aims to analyze the importance of integrated risk management in hospital management strategies and identify challenges and solutions for its implementation. Based on a literature review and various case studies, it is found that the implementation of international standards such as ISO 31000 has successfully optimized risk management in hospitals, especially in dealing with operational and clinical risks. However, significant challenges are still encountered, such as the lack of professionals trained in risk management and limited supporting technology. Suggested solutions include intensive training for staff, implementation of a technology-based incident reporting system, and integrating risk management with financial processes to prevent budget discrepancies. With these measures, the hospital can increase the effectiveness of risk management, improve patient safety, and maintain optimal continuity of operations.

Abstract

Hospital administration is facing increasing challenges in ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining the quality of healthcare services. The digital transformation in hospital administration, particularly through the implementation of Hospital Management Information Systems (SIMRS) and process innovations, has become a crucial strategy in improving service efficiency. SIMRS facilitates data integration, automates administrative tasks, and enhances coordination among hospital units, leading to faster and more accurate service delivery. However, its implementation faces obstacles such as limited technological infrastructure, staff readiness, and high implementation costs. Meanwhile, process innovation such as digital queue systems and automated administrative procedures, optimizes resource utilization and reduces patient waiting times. Despite these advantages, challenges like resistance to change and limited funding remain significant barriers. This study, conducted through a literature review, analyzes the relationship between SIMRS, process innovation, and hospital efficiency. The findings highlight the importance of comprehensive strategies, including policy support, staff training, and infrastructure development, to ensure effective digital transformation in hospital administration.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought fundamental changes to hospital governance. One strategic instrument that plays a crucial role is the Hospital Management Information System, as regulated in Minister of Health Regulation Number 82 of 2013. SIMRS functions not only as an administrative system but also as a decision support system that provides real-time and integrated data to support managerial decision-making. This study uses a literature review method by analyzing various recent research results related to the implementation and optimization of SIMRS in hospitals. The results show that SIMRS can improve administrative efficiency, accelerate patient data access, strengthen inter-departmental coordination, and facilitate data-driven decision-making. However, several obstacles remain, including high implementation costs, user resistance to change, system complexity, limited cross-module integration, and data security risks. Optimizing SIMRS requires a continuous training strategy for all staff, system adjustments to hospital needs, regular software updates, and close collaboration between the information technology team and medical personnel.

Abstract

Doctors’ performance is a key factor in determining the quality of hospital services. However, various challenges such as heavy workloads, limited resources, and increasing demands for service quality often reduce the effectiveness of medical staff. In this context, transformational leadership is considered a relevant approach to enhance doctors’ motivation, commitment, and performance. This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership in improving doctors’ performance in hospitals through a comprehensive literature review. The research method employed is a literature review by examining various articles, books, and research reports related to transformational leadership and doctors’ performance in hospitals. The analysis was conducted descriptively and critically to identify the relationship between theory and practice in the field, as well as to formulate implementation strategies suitable for the context of Indonesian hospitals. The findings indicate that transformational leadership, through its four main dimensions inspirational motivation, idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration is able to enhance work motivation, strengthen organizational commitment, and encourage doctors’ innovation in healthcare services. The application of transformational leadership has also been proven relevant in fostering an adaptive, participatory, and quality-oriented organizational culture.

The distribution stage by looking at the match between the drug and the stock card to avoid the condition of drug stock in the empty, insufficient, safe or excess category and to affect the requested drug demand and the level of drug availability for 12 months. The user stage by looking at the number of drug items per prescription sheet that have been listed in the system but there are some drug items that cannot be served and drugs that are correctly labeled have complied with the rules. Suggestions for the need to improve selection so that drug needs are in accordance with the standards of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, adding funds so that all drugs are available, monitoring drug distribution by matching drugs with stock cards and providing drug items for each prescription sheet in full.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the quality of service, medical facilities, patient satisfaction, and patient loyalty at Pulang Pisau Regional General Hospital, Central Kalimantan, and to analyze the direct and indirect influence of service quality and medical facilities on patient satisfaction and their implications for patient loyalty. This research employed a descriptive method to map the condition of each variable and a verificative method with a quantitative approach to test research hypotheses. The findings indicate that service quality and medical facilities are categorized as good and statistically have a positive and significant influence on patient satisfaction. Partially, service quality and medical facilities significantly improve patient satisfaction, while simultaneous testing shows a synergistic interaction of both variables in predicting satisfaction. The direct path analysis reveals that only medical facilities have a significant direct effect on loyalty, while service quality requires mediation. Furthermore, the mediation analysis shows that patient satisfaction facilitates the transmission of positive effects from both variables toward loyalty, making satisfaction a bridging variable that strengthens the relationship between service quality, medical facilities, and patient loyalty. These findings indicate that patient satisfaction functions as a crucial and fundamental mediator that consolidates the contributions of service quality and medical facilities in building sustainable patient loyalty.

Abstract

Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) and to reinforce work motivation in order to enhance organizational productivity through employee performance at Pulang Pisau General Hospital. The primary objective is to examine the influence of SIMRS implementation and work motivation on work productivity, with employee performance serving as a mediating variable. Employing a descriptive and verificative method with a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires and observations, and subsequently analyzed using path analysis. The results indicate that SIMRS implementation, work motivation, employee performance, and work productivity are generally categorized as satisfactory. Both individually and collectively, SIMRS implementation and work motivation exert a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, employee performance demonstrates a positive and significant influence on work productivity. SIMRS implementation exerts a direct, positive, and significant effect on productivity, while the direct effect of work motivation on productivity, although positive, is statistically insignificant. However, both SIMRS implementation and work motivation exert significant indirect effects on productivity through employee performance. Overall, the findings underscore that enhancing work productivity within hospital organizations is highly contingent upon the effectiveness of well-managed information systems, the consistency of work motivation, and the professionalism of employee performance. The integration of these three factors establishes a conducive work environment that supports organizational achievement and advances the quality of healthcare services.
