Abstract

Low coping stress indicated by the practice of maladaptive coping practice was found in university students. Thus, the current study analyzed the effect of mindfulness and self-awareness on coping stress of students at Buddhist Universities in Central Java. It used a quantitative approach and correlational design. For the subjects, 180 graduate students majoring in Buddhist Education at Buddhist Universities in Central Java. In collecting their data, the scales of mindfulness, self-awareness, and coping stress designed by the researchers were used. Following the data collection, a multiple regression analysis was carried out and showed that there was an effect of mindfulness and self-awareness on coping stress. Regarding this finding, counsellors are expected to implement guidance and counselling services with the basis of mindfulness and self-awareness so that students can be prevented from maladaptive coping when dealing with stressors. For more, the future studies are recommended to use a qualitative design to reveal more deeply about coping with stress.

Abstract

Self-esteem is significant for an individual’s life due to its ability to direct oneself in valuing something, deciding proper attitudes towards different interpersonal relationships, and motivating the development of self-potential. Regarding this urgency, the present study attempted to examine the effectiveness of compassion-focused group counseling using imagery and chair work techniques to increase the self-esteem of students at SMP IT Al-Multazam 2, Kuningan. It was an experimental research taht used a randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design. Here, 12 students were randomly selected using a purposive sampling technique from 72 students whose self-esteem was low. They were further grouped into two experimental groups. Based on the results of Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney tests, the compassion-focused group counseling with imagery and chair work techniques has been effective to increase students’ self-esteem. Moreover, the study implications, findings, and discussion are deeply explained in the discussion section.

Abstract

Limited job opportunities are the cause of poor absorption of vocational high school or SMK graduates in the world of work, for being an entrepreneur is an alternative for them. This issue motivated the present research to examine the mediating effect of parental entrepreneurial attitudes on employability skills and entrepreneurial intention among 370 SMK students throughout South Semarang area. These numbers were sampled using the cluster random sampling technique, while their data were collected using the scales of employability skills, entrepreneurial intention and parental entrepreneurial attitude scale. Based on the findings, the effects of employability skills on entrepreneurial intention were mediated by parental entrepreneurial attitudes. The implications of this research are listed in the discussion.

Abstract

Waste is a residual production material that contains substances capable of causing pollution and health disturbances. One of the waste types frequently encountered is cigarette filter waste and wood powder waste, both of which are managed minimally. This research aims to determine the influence of the composition of a mixture of cigarette filter waste and wood powder waste on sound absorption in composite materials. The method involved preparing the necessary tools and materials, then creating composites with fractions (65%, 20%: 10%, 15%), (60%, 20%: 13%, 7%), and (55%, 20%: 15%, 10%). Subsequently, sound absorption testing was conducted using the direct method following ISO 11654 standards. Results from the sound absorption testing at a frequency of 500 Hz showed the highest sound intensity value in the fraction (65%, 20%: 10%, 15%) at 104,833 dBa and the lowest in the fraction (55%, 20%: 15%, 10%) at 93,333 dBa. The highest sound absorption coefficient value was found in the fraction (55%, 20%: 15%, 10%) at 0,202, while the lowest was in the fraction (65%, 20%: 10%, 15%) at 0,104. As the volume of acoustic material from cigarette filter waste and wood powder waste increased, the sound absorption coefficient also increased. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui keefektifan konseling kelompok online pendekatan behavior teknik self management untuk mengurangi kecenderungan kecanduan game online. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Teknik pengambilan subjek penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling sejumlah 6 siswa. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah Gaming Addiction Scale (GAS) oleh Lemmens dkk (2009) sebanyak 7 indikator dan 21 item. Validitas diuji dengan rumus Product moment dan dengan koefesien reliabilitas 0,924. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis deskripstif dan analisis uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil uji uji Wilcoxon (Z= -2,201, p?0,05) hal ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok online pendekatan bevavior teknik self management terbukti efektif untuk mengurangi kecenderungan kecanduan game online pada siswa. Selanjutnya, konselor sekolah dapat menerapkan dan mengembangkan konseling kelompok online pendekatan bevavior teknik self management sebagai salah satu strategi alternatif untuk mengurangi kecenderungan kecanduan game online siswa.

Abstract

Kesejahteraan psikologis berakibat pada keadaan fisik dan mental remaja di masa pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesejahteraan psikologis remaja pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Melalui teknik proportionate stratified random sampling, maka diperoleh 306 sampel remaja sebagai sumber data penelitian yang mewakili populasi yaitu SMA Negeri Kecamatan Semarang Tengah. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan rumus statistik deskriptif sehingga diperoleh hasil bahwa kesejahteraan psikologis remaja berada pada kategori sedang (M = 72,09; SD = 8,64). Terkait hal ini guru BK perlu memberikan intervensi kepada remaja sekolah untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis.

Abstract

Altruis adalah kebalikan dari egoisme, orang yang altruis yaitu orang yang peduli untuk menolong orang lain walaupun tidak ada keuntungan yang diperoleh dan tidak mengharapkan imbalan atas pertolongan yang telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris mengenai keefektifan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan terhadap perilaku altruis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMP Boarding School Al-Ishlah Bobos Cirebon, dan sebagai sampelnya adalah 8 siswa kelas VII dan VIII yang memiliki tingkat perilaku altruis yang rendah. Teknik sampel yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologis altruis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni analisis deskriptif persentase dan Uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat perilaku altruis siswa sebelum diberi perlakuan berupa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan berada pada kriteria sedang (55%), dan setelah diberi perlakuan berupa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi (86%). Hasil Uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa nilai z hitung= -2,52 dan asymp signifikansi 0,012 lebih kecil dari p tabel 0,05 (z= -2,52, p<0,05). Dengan demikian dapat diartikan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan efektik untuk meningkatkan perilaku altruis siswa.

Abstract

The state of students' psychological well-being has an impact on their mental health. In this study, the psychological well-being of students at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Science (FTTS) at Salatiga State Islamic Institute. This study used a cross-sectional survey design and a descriptive quantitative methodology. The study's subjects were 142 students at FTTS, Salatiga State Islamic Institute, who were chosen using a simple random sampling process. The psychological well-being scale used in this study is an adaptation of Riff's Well-Being Scale. Based on the instrument's validity and reliability tests, the instrument's reliability (r) score was 0.867, and the r count validity score ranged from 0.231 to 0.652. These findings show that the instrument is reliable and valid. The IBM SPSS program was used for data analysis. The findings indicated that students at FTTS, Salatiga State Islamic Institute are generally categorized as moderate for their psychological well-being, and according to the t-test (p= 0.090 > 0.05), there is no statistically significant difference between the psychological well-being of male and female students. According to the study's findings, students' psychological well-being can be enhanced by using a variety of services, including counseling and mindfulness therapy provided by counselors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of internal audit and internal control on fraud prevention at state-owned banks in Batam City. It's critical to comprehend the elements that can stop fraud. Employees of state-owned banks in Batam were given questionnaires as part of the quantitative approach utilized in this study to collect data. The results of the study indicate that internal audit has a significant influence on fraud prevention. This indicates that the effectiveness of the internal audit function in identifying weaknesses and ensuring compliance with operational procedures plays an important role in minimizing the potential for fraud. However, the results of the study also show that internal control does not have a significant influence on fraud prevention partially. However, when tested simultaneously, internal audit and internal control together have a significant influence on fraud prevention. This finding emphasizes the importance of synergy between internal audit and internal control in creating an effective system to prevent fraud in the banking sector. Therefore, banks need to increase the role of internal audit and ensure good coordination with the internal control system to achieve optimal results in fraud prevention efforts.

Abstract

Sexuality education for children school base is foundation important in to form attitudes, behaviors, and skills taking healthy decision related relationships and boundaries personal. Individual capable make right decision, develop draft positive self and relationships and prevent impact negative to health sexual. The purpose of study this is for to explore room scope material that needs to be strengthened in give understanding sexuality education and determining factors the success of the sexuality education program for child age Elementary School. Review literature systematic used in study this, is done use framework PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) work, explores practice based on evidence, effectiveness, and challenges in implementation of educational programs sexuality for child Age 6–12 years. Procedure this PRISMA research done through four steps namely identification, screening, eligibility and inclusion. At this stage identification done search text through three databases namely Science Direct, Taylor and Francis and Eric.ed.gov. and obtained results 8 matching articles with criteria. The result study this that room scope in carry out sexuality education for children need notice environment inclusive and participatory active. Effective sexuality education must create a stigma - free and inviting environment participation active from students, need designed with to discuss Topic sensitive in a way open and safe, at the same time overcoming the shame and stigma that often accompanies stick to the topic sexual. Education based on family need done with collaborative between schools and parents, emphasizing importance communication between parents and children related protection self and personal boundaries. The factors that influence the success of sexuality education is teacher perception, age, gender, and culture as well as the necessary delivery strategies customized with development child age school base.
