Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the discovery learning method on the ability of students to write narrative texts. This type of research is an experimental study with a pre- experimental design. This study was conducted in one class only, by conducting a pre-test and post-test to measure students' writing skills before and after the application of the discovery learning method. The results showed a significant increase in students' average scores, where the average pre-test score was 42.46 and the average post-test reached 57.54. Analysis using the t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the two tests, proving that the discovery learning method is effective in improving students' narrative writing skills. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more innovative learning strategies in the context of modern education.

Abstract

Purpose: This research examines the mechanism of multi-stakeholder transformative dialogue in transforming pesantren orientation through tasawuf values and its relationship with post-conflict deradicalization. Method: A qualitative case study was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Amanah, Poso, Sulawesi Tengah during 12 months (January-December 2024) through observation, interviews, participant observation, and document analysis with a theoretical framework integrating positive dialogue theory from Bourdieu and 45% (2010) positive impacts. Result: The research findings reveal a comprehensive dialogue model that integrates: (1) ekogrit (recognition ecology) transforming rigid understanding of religious uniformity; (2) restructuring curriculum and pedagogy towards contextual-substantivist approaches rather than textualist-formalist such as low self-esteem, patience, and universal love; (3) implementation of sustainable dialogue with multi-religious communities based on the principle of ukhuwan insaniyyah (universal brotherhood) and sulh (reconciliation). Tasawuf values such as iksan, qana'ah, and dzikir practices strengthen collective identity and spiritual resilience in facing post-conflict trauma. Conclusion: The transformation produces tangible impacts: trust among religious communities increased 78% (2010 to 2024), inter-religious conflicts decreased from 12 cases/year to almost zero since 2016, membership growth in Koperasi Syariah Lintas Agama reached 457%, and the deradicalization model based on tasawuf values is replicable for 128,000 pesantren in Indonesia, contributing significantly to SDG 16 regarding peace, justice, and strong institutions.

Abstract

Abstrak Stroke merupakan penyebab utama kematian dan kecacatan di Indonesia setelah penyakit jantung iskemik. Rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai gejala awal dan penanganan stroke menyebabkan keterlambatan mendapatkan pertolongan medis. Kegiatan edukasi dan pendampingan masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap deteksi dini serta tatalaksana awal stroke. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Pattallassang, Kabupaten Takalar, pada 20–22 Maret 2025, melibatkan 50 peserta dewasa dan lansia berisiko stroke. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan interaktif, simulasi metode FAST (Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call for help), serta pendampingan keluarga berisiko melalui kunjungan rumah. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dari rata-rata 30% menjadi 88% (kenaikan 58%), dengan peningkatan tertinggi pada kemampuan memberikan pertolongan pertama (naik 62%). Pendampingan keluarga juga meningkatkan perilaku pencegahan stroke dari 28% menjadi 71% (kenaikan 43%), terutama dalam pemeriksaan tekanan darah dan pengenalan tanda FAST. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, dan perilaku masyarakat terhadap pencegahan serta penanganan awal stroke. Pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif direkomendasikan sebagai strategi berkelanjutan dalam menurunkan risiko stroke di tingkat komunitas. Abstract Stroke is the leading cause of death and disability in Indonesia after ischemic heart disease. The low level of public knowledge regarding early symptoms and initial management of stroke often leads to delays in obtaining medical treatment. This community education and mentoring program aimed to improve public knowledge and preparedness for early detection and initial management of stroke. The activity was conducted in Pattallassang Village, Takalar Regency, from March 20–22, 2025, involving 50 adult and elderly participants at risk of stroke. The methods used included interactive health education, simulation of the FAST method (Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call for help), and family mentoring through home visits.The evaluation results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge from an average of 30% to 88% (a 58% improvement), with the highest increase in the ability to provide first aid (62%). Family mentoring also improved preventive behaviors from 28% to 71% (a 43% increase), particularly in regular blood pressure checks and recognition of FAST signs. This activity proved effective in enhancing community knowledge, awareness, and behavior regarding stroke prevention and early management. An educational and participatory approach is recommended as a sustainable strategy to reduce stroke risk at the community level.

Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk membuat model pengembangan program persiapan pensiun yang lebih efektif serta dapat membantu Pegawai Negeri Sipil di lingkungan SSDM Polri yang akan pensiun. Hal ini diharapkan agar pegawai yang mengikuti program persiapan akan merasa bahagia lahir dan batin. Hasil dari model pelatihan ini menggambarkan tentang penyusunan bahan pelatihan, metode, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program kegiatan. Materi pelatihan terdiri dari dua aspek besar meliputi Aspek Perencanaan Pensiun dan Aspek Konseling. Adapun Metode Pelatihan adalah Penyampaian Materi, Diskusi Kelompok, Role Play, Games dan Simulasi, Konsultasi dan Kunjungan ke tempat-tempat usaha. Sedangkan pelaksanaan dilakukan di luar kantor bekerjasama dengan BTPN dan peserta adalah PNS di lingkungan SSDM Polri serta memanggil peserta dari satuan kerja lain, adapun narasumber dari berbagai ahli sesuai dengan tema. Pada tahap evaluasi pelaksanaannya bekerjasama dengan Baganev Rojianstra SSDM Polri dengan menilai kebutuhan serta efektifitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan hasil penelitian yang diperlukan pengembangan program persiapan pensiun dengan menambah aspek-aspek program persiapan masa pensiun meliputi persiapan dan konseling. Adapun saran dari penelitian ini adalah agar dapat diterapkan khususnya di instansi Polri dan dapat digunakan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut.

Abstract

The aging process triggers a decline in neuromuscular function, significantly increasing the risk of falls among the elderly with potentially fatal physical and psychological impacts. This community service activity aims to improve health literacy and mobilization independence for 21 elderly residents at PSTW Gau Mabaji Gowa in September 2025. The implementation method began with functional status screening using the Time Up and Go (TUG) Test, followed by module-based interactive health education and gradual training on the use of mobility aids. The TUG Test results revealed that the majority of respondents (57.15%) fell into the High Fall Risk category due to physical weakness, comorbidities, and nursing home environmental factors. However, interventions through education and therapeutic communication proved effective in increasing the elderly's confidence in using assistive devices and reducing psychological barriers such as fear of falling. This program successfully enhanced the knowledge and practical skills of the elderly in safe mobilization; thus, the synergy between education and environmental modification is crucial to maintaining their quality of life, ensuring they remain active and safe within the facility. Abstrak Proses penuaan memicu penurunan fungsi neuromuskular yang secara signifikan meningkatkan risiko jatuh pada lansia dengan dampak fatal secara fisik maupun psikologis. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi kesehatan dan kemandirian mobilisasi bagi 21 lansia di PSTW Gau Mabaji Gowa pada September 2025. Metode pelaksanaan diawali dengan skrining status fungsional menggunakan instrumen Time Up and Go (TUG) Test, yang dilanjutkan dengan edukasi kesehatan interaktif berbasis modul serta pelatihan penggunaan alat bantu gerak secara bertahap. Hasil penilaian TUG Test mengungkapkan bahwa mayoritas responden (57,15%) berada pada kategori Risiko Jatuh Tinggi akibat kelemahan fisik, penyakit penyerta, dan faktor lingkungan panti. Namun, intervensi melalui edukasi dan komunikasi terapeutik terbukti efektif meningkatkan kepercayaan diri lansia dalam menggunakan alat bantu serta menurunkan hambatan psikologis berupa fear of falling. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan praktis lansia dalam mobilisasi aman, sehingga sinergi antara edukasi dan modifikasi lingkungan menjadi sangat krusial untuk menjaga kualitas hidup lansia agar tetap aktif dan aman di lingkungan panti.

Abstract

This paper describes the leadership of women in Indonesia in contemporary fiqh. The method used is literature and describes the main problems in the research. The sub-problems that are addressed are the role of women in the era of the Prophet and contemporary fiqh in women's leadership in Indonesia. This study found that the involvement of women in the time of the Prophet was not restricted in social aspects, attending lectures, discussion partners and so on. Reflecting that social involvement in the Sasulullah era was very open to women, it is not appropriate and fair if women are limited in their space of movement in social participation or career. The paradigm of women "staying at home" is not in line with the Prophet's example in his time, especially in today's life, especially in Indonesia, which gives women the freedom to work. The explanations in the collective verses of the Qur'an and Hadith and social facts at the time of the Prophet, as well as historical facts in Indonesia, are evident in the involvement of women in all aspects, including being leaders in social, educational and political aspects. Women's political participation is in line with Indonesia's social and constitutional situation in opening up space for women to be involved in practical politics, including running for Regional Head and President. The potential of women in terms of leading the state (becoming heads of state) is very open and justified in Islam because no text contradicts contextually but provides the same rights and responsibilities as men in all aspects, including religion, social and culture. Abstract

Upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Menanamkan Nilai-nilai Moderasi Beragama di SDN 16 Palu di Kecamatan Palu Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan lokasi di SDN 16 Palu Kecamatan Palu timur. Sumber data diperoleh dari informan yang dinilai memahami permasalahan, melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menanaman nilai-nilai moderasi beragama berjalan dengan baik sesuai visi misi sekolah dan kurikulum yang digunakan, yaitu untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, nyaman, toleransi dan menyenangkan bagi peserta didik. Guru menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan menanamkan sembilan nilai moderasi beragama untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik yang menghargai keberagaman latar belakang. Temuan ini mengimplementasikan pentingnya guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama pada materi ajar maupun budaya sekolah untuk dapat memperkuat kerukunan sosial di lingkungan pendidikan.
