Abstract

The low learning outcomes of Indonesian language among fifth-grade students of State Elementary School 165 Palembang encourage the need for the application of innovative learning models. This research aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language for fifth-grade students at State Elementary School 165 Palembang. The method used in this study is a quantitative experimental method with a Quasi Experimental Design, utilizing a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data collection technique used is essay tests, consisting of pretests and posttests. The analysis results show that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class, with a (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.025, thus it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model has a positive effect on students' learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects. Therefore, the application of the Discovery Learning model can enhance learning outcomes fifth grade students of State Elementary School 165 Palembang.

Abstract

The ability to write informative texts among Grade V students at SD Negeri 165 Palembang is still below the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) standard. To address this issue, a study was conducted with the aim of improving students' writing skills by applying the Picture and Picture learning model. Until now, the lecture method used in the teaching and learning process tends to be monotonous and causes students to feel bored, resulting in learning outcomes that do not meet expectations. Therefore, a more engaging and effective learning strategy is needed. The implementation of the Picture and Picture model, which is relevant to the learning material, has proven to improve students' writing abilities. This study was carried out in three stages: pre-test, treatment, and post-test. Data analysis through percentage calculations showed an increase in students’ average scores after the treatment was applied. Thus, the Picture and Picture model has been proven to help improve the writing skills of Grade V students at SD Negeri 165 Palembang.

Abstract

Pengelolaan cuti karyawan yang efektif dan transparan menjadi krusial dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia modern. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan sistem informasi pengajuan cuti berbasis web menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) untuk mengatasi kelemahan proses manual yang ada. Metode: Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode RAD diadopsi. Tahapan penelitian meliputi perencanaan kebutuhan,perancangan pengguna (UI/UX), konstruksi sistem, dan implementasi, didukung oleh justifikasi pemilihan RAD dan spesifikasi platform pemrograman yang relevan. Hasil: Sistem informasi pengajuan cuti berhasil dirancang dan diimplementasikan, mencakup antarmuka pengguna untuk admin, pimpinan, dan karyawan. Pengujian fungsional melalui black-box testing menunjukkan kesesuaian hasil dengan harapan. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini berhasil mengembangkan sistem yang efisien, transparan, dan akurat, sejalan dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Metode RAD terbukti efektif dalam mengakomodasi perubahan kebutuhan selama pengembangan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the use of animated videos in enhancing the learning creativity of primary school students. Using qualitative methods and a field study approach through observation, interviews, and document analysis of teachers and students in Grade IV at Rato State Primary School, it was found that animated videos are able to attract interest in learning, clarify understanding, and encourage students' imagination and creative ideas. Creativity is evident through original thinking, courage to experiment, and the creation of simple works. Success is influenced by teacher planning, selection of relevant content, and activities that stimulate creative thinking. It is concluded that animated videos have great potential as an innovative learning strategy. Further research is recommended using a quantitative approach and the development of interactive video models across subjects.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has brought significant impacts on Human Resource Management (HRM), where technological advancements such as artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and the Internet of Things (IoT) have transformed how organizations manage their human resources. This article aims to analyze the strategic role of HRM in addressing challenges and leveraging opportunities that arise from these technological developments. This study employs a qualitative approach through a literature review to examine the role of HR managers and identify relevant strategies for managing human resources in the digital era. The findings indicate that HR managers must act as strategic partners who support employee skill development and well-being, while also adjusting policies to build an innovative and collaborative work environment. In conclusion, efficient human resource management plays a vital role in enhancing organizational competitiveness in an increasingly global and competitive market. The contribution of this study is to provide insights into the importance of adaptive human resources in supporting organizational goals amid rapid technological changes.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of the example non-example model assisted by video media on Pancasila Education learning outcomes at SD Negeri 1 Pampangan. This study was prompted by the fact that Pancasila Education learning outcomes at SD Negeri 1 Pampangan were still below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). The research employed a quantitative approach with a True Experimental Design, specifically using a Posttest-Only Control Design. The population for this study consisted of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Pampangan. The sample included 16 students from class IV.A and 16 students from class IV.B. Data collection was carried out using a 30-item multiple-choice test. Instrument testing techniques included validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discriminating power. Data analysis involved a normality test, which yielded a significance value of 0.079 (>0.05). A homogeneity test resulted in a significance value of 0.914 (>0.05). An independent samples t-test yielded a significance (2-tailed) value of 0.008 (<0.025). Therefore, it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning there is a significant influence of the example non-example model assisted by video media on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education students at SD Negeri 1 Pampangan.

Abstract

Kelembagaan peternak berperan penting dalam mendukung produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usaha peternakan rakyat. Banyak kelompok mengalami stagnasi akibat lemahnya struktur organisasi serta rendahnya kapasitas administrasi internal. Kondisi tersebut menghambat pengambilan keputusan dan menurunkan peluang kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas kelembagaan kelompok peternak kambing melalui pendekatan edukasi dan pendampingan administratif. Kegiatan dilakukan secara partisipatif melalui pelatihan, penyusunan alat bantu administrasi, serta fasilitasi perbaikan struktur organisasi dan pencatatan kelompok. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas dalam aspek struktur organisasi, partisipasi anggota, dan administrasi kelompok. Kelompok menyusun struktur organisasi formal lengkap dengan uraian tugas serta mulai mengadopsi pencatatan manual berupa buku kas, log kegiatan, dan daftar keanggotaan. Partisipasi aktif anggota menunjukkan tumbuhnya kesadaran terhadap pentingnya transparansi dan akuntabilitas kelembagaan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa intervensi edukatif yang terarah mampu mendorong pembentukan tata kelola yang lebih adaptif. Pendekatan ini dapat direplikasi pada kelompok lain dengan menyesuaikan kebutuhan lokal. Kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi, pemerintah desa, dan instansi teknis menjadi kunci penguatan kelembagaan peternak dalam kerangka pembangunan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' social literacy skills in the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject in Grade III at SDN 137 Palembang. Social literacy is a crucial aspect of character development that includes four main indicators: self-awareness, emotional understanding and regulation, understanding of social situations, and relationship-building. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results show that students demonstrate a fairly good ability to understand themselves and regulate their emotions, especially in real-life social situations such as helping peers or working collaboratively. Their understanding of social situations and ability to form relationships are also developing, although challenges remain in responding to more complex and implicit social problems, such as peer pressure or hidden social conflicts. The highest achievement was found in indicators related to empathy and cooperation, while lower performance appeared in analyzing social issues and showing moral courage. Therefore, IPAS learning is expected to be developed further in contextual and reflective ways to enhance students' overall social awareness. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating social values into early education so that students grow not only cognitively but also socially and emotionally.

Abstract

History learning in museums is generally still dominated by conventional information delivery through text labels and verbal explanations, which tends to be less engaging for the digital generation. This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility of an Augmented Reality (AR)–based learning media application for introducing historical objects at the Deli Serdang Museum on Android devices. A research and development (R&D) approach was employed using the Waterfall software development model, consisting of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Data were collected through literature review, observation and documentation of museum collections, and interviews with museum staff. The system was designed using UML and implemented with Unity, Vuforia, and 3D object modelling. Functional testing was carried out using black box testing, while an initial feasibility test involved 10 respondents who completed a questionnaire on system performance and user experience. The results show that all core features (marker detection, 3D object display, rotation and zoom functions, and menu navigation) operated according to specification without critical errors. Most respondents stated that the application is easy to use, visually attractive, and helpful in understanding the museum’s historical collections. Therefore, the developed AR application is considered feasible as a supplementary learning medium at the Deli Serdang Museum and has the potential to be extended to other museum contexts

Abstract

Islamic economics has its own uniqueness and privileges compared to all economic systems that exist in the world today, such as the capitalist economy and the socialist economic system. Among these special values ??include divine and human values ??as well as morals. With these three values, Islamic economics overcomes all problems that exist in society and provides solutions for the welfare of human life and their prosperity in this world and the hereafter. Meanwhile, capitalist economics teaches its adherents to obtain as much profit as possible without caring about how to achieve it and also does not pay attention to human values ??and morals, resulting in socio-economic inequality in society due to practicing capitalist economic theory. This article tries to discuss these three values ??so that they can be understood by readers and the general public.
