Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on students’ learning outcomes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject on the topic of human body parts for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 114615 Tanjung Mangedar. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of two classes: Class IV A as the experimental group with 24 students and Class IV B as the control group with 22 students. Data were collected through pretest and posttest in the form of essay questions. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing with an independent samples t-test. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class taught using the PjBL model was 84.17, which was higher than that of the control class taught using conventional learning, with an average score of 64.54. The results of the t-test indicated that the calculated t value was greater than the t table value, indicating that the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model has a significant effect on improving students’ learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 114615 Tanjung Mangedar.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman peminatan materi merupakan kemampuan penguasaan dan pemilihan materi pembelajaran Segitiga dan Lingkaran. Berdasarkan observasi di SD Yayasan Pendidikan Nur Cahaya perlu mendapat perhatian dalam penguatan materi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peminatan siswa pada materi Segitiga dan Lingkaran. Penelitian ini merupangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif lapangan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Yayasan Pendidikan Nnur Cahaya. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Kemampuan peminatan siswa pada pembelajaran matematika materi Segitiga dan Lingkaran dapat dikategorikan sudah baik. Siswa mampu menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep, mengklasifikasikan objek berdasarkan sifat-sifatnya, dan dapat menyelesaikan soal. Dari nilai hasil pemahaman siswa pada materi Segitiga dan Lingakarn bahwa presentase keseluruhan telah mencapai 90% siswa yang sudah mencapai nilai diatas standar nilai minimum. Faktor pendukung dalam peminatan ini adalah Fasilitas, Tenaga Pendidik, Motivasi dan Daya Serap siswa yang baik.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to develop valid, practical, and effective Ludoku media for science learning for fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sidoharjo. This research method uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. The research subjects were fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sidoharjo. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use media validity analysis, ludoku media practicality analysis, and ludoku media effectiveness analysis.Based on the research results, namely the analysis of the Ludoku media validation test assessed by three experts: a linguist who met the criteria for very valid with an average score of 0.93, a media expert who met the criteria for very valid with an average score of 0.92, and a material expert who met the criteria for very valid with an average score of 0.95. Meanwhile, the analysis of the teacher and student practicality assessment sheets showed that the Ludoku media met the criteria of being very practical with an average score of 97.47%. Furthermore, the analysis of the effectiveness assessment obtained an N-gain score with an average of 0.71, categorizedin the high. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Ludoku media is proven to be valid, practical, and effective, making it suitable for use in the learning process in grade V of SD Negeri 1 Sidoharjo

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has transformed consumption patterns while simultaneously increasing risks related to consumer protection, including online fraud, information manipulation, and misuse of personal data, thereby requiring more critical and comprehensive literacy skills. This study addresses the problem of low consumer protection literacy, as indicated by high levels of impulsive consumption behavior, limited understanding of consumer rights and obligations, and an imbalance between the intensity of technology use and the ability to evaluate information effectively. The purpose of this research is to examine the role of Social Studies education in enhancing consumer protection literacy, its integration into the learning process, and the effectiveness of its implementation in the digital era through a literature review approach. The findings reveal that consumer protection literacy remains at a moderate to low level, yet it has a significant relationship with rational economic decision-making and the ability to mitigate digital risks. Social Studies education has been proven effective in improving such literacy through contextual, interactive, and experience-based learning, which strengthens students’ understanding, attitudes, and skills as consumers. The novelty of this study lies in the conceptual and practical integration of consumer protection literacy into Social Studies learning, encompassing cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions, as well as emphasizing pedagogical strategies based on case studies and reflective discussions as effective approaches to shaping intelligent and responsible consumers in the digital era.

Abstract

Fenomena “Always Available” merefleksikan ekspektasi sosial baru terhadap responsivitas digital yang tersebar di antara generasi milenial dan Generasi Z di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-fenomenologis dengan 15 informan yang dipilih secara purposive sampling, didukung wawancara mendalam dan analisis artefak digital. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi enam tema utama: tekanan responsivitas instan, pengaburan batas kerja-privat, normalisasi ekspektasi digital, dampak psikologis negatif, strategi negosiasi batas digital, dan pembentukan identitas sosial digital. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa tekanan sosial horizontal dan vertikal, hiper-konektivitas teknologi, dan dinamika organisasi mendorong normalisasi ekspektasi, sementara individu mengembangkan strategi adaptif untuk menegosiasikan batas digital. Penelitian ini memperkaya kajian sosiologi komunikasi digital dalam konteks budaya non-Barat dan memberikan implikasi praktis bagi organisasi dan pembuat kebijakan dalam mengelola kesejahteraan digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis resiliensi sosioekonomi komunitas urban di Kampung Tongkol, Jakarta, serta relevansinya sebagai sumber belajar kontekstual Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap warga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi masyarakat tidak hanya berupa kemampuan bertahan hidup, tetapi juga bentuk negosiasi aktif terhadap marginalisasi struktural. Resiliensi tercermin dalam tiga dimensi utama, yaitu kemandirian sanitasi melalui penggunaan MCK komunal berbayar, adaptabilitas ekonomi pada sektor kerja informal JakLingko, dan ketahanan psikologis dalam menghadapi birokrasi layanan BPJS Kesehatan. Temuan ini memiliki nilai pedagogis dalam pembelajaran IPS karena mampu menghadirkan realitas sosial secara konkret dan kontekstual. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Kampung Tongkol efektif dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran kritis dan empati peserta didik terhadap ketimpangan sosial masyarakat urban.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the obstacles faced in implementing Storyline-based learning media in the classroom and to determine the perceptions of students and teachers towards the use of Storyline-based learning media. In this study, a qualitative approach will be applied through a case study method. The research sample was 23 people. This study was conducted in the fourth grade of the Ra Kartini Cerdas Bangsa Private Elementary School on Jl. Jati Rejo, Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra 20371. The use of Storyline-based learning media has been shown to increase student engagement and focus in reading. Visualizing stories through images makes it easier for students to understand the learning context, increases attention, and reduces boredom during learning activities. Students' reading skills showed positive developments during the implementation of Storyline-based learning media. Students were increasingly able to identify the storyline, read short sentences with more confidence, and understand the relationship between images and text. Shared reading activities and story sequencing played a role in strengthening students' understanding of the reading content. Student participation in learning increased throughout the learning process. Adjustments made by teachers, such as simplifying the storyline, improving the quality of visuals, and adjusting the pace of material delivery, encouraged students to be more active in answering questions, discussing, and taking turns reading. Teachers find it easier to deliver reading material. Storyline media helps teachers deliver material in a structured and engaging manner. Teachers also feel that the use of visuals can clarify learning messages and make it easier for students to understand the story's content. Questionnaire and interview data show a positive response from teachers and students to the use of Storyline media. Students feel that learning becomes more interesting and easier to understand, while teachers assess the media as relevant to student characteristics and appropriate to classroom learning needs. Overall, Storyline-based learning media can be an effective alternative in improving reading skills and creating more interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful learning for fourth-grade students.

Abstract

Quarter life crisis merupakan fenomena psikologis yang banyak dialami individu pada masa dewasa awal, terutama mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Kondisi ini ditandai dengan munculnya perasaan bingung, cemas, tidak yakin, tertekan, dan takut terhadap masa depan. Mahasiswa tingkat akhir rentan mengalami quarter life crisis karena menghadapi berbagai tekanan seperti tuntutan menyelesaikan skripsi, lulus tepat waktu, mencari pekerjaan, memenuhi harapan keluarga, serta membandingkan diri dengan teman sebaya. Salah satu faktor yang dinilai dapat membantu mengurangi quarter life crisis adalah dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran dukungan sosial dalam menurunkan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir melalui pendekatan kajian literatur. Sumber data diperoleh dari artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional yang terbit pada tahun 2016–2026 melalui Google Scholar, Sinta, Garuda, dan Scopus. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dari keluarga, teman sebaya, pasangan, dan dosen berperan signifikan dalam menurunkan tingkat quarter life crisis mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang memiliki dukungan sosial tinggi cenderung mempunyai kepercayaan diri, regulasi emosi, resiliensi, dan optimisme yang lebih baik terhadap masa depan. Dengan demikian, dukungan sosial menjadi salah satu faktor eksternal penting dalam membantu mahasiswa tingkat akhir menghadapi quarter life crisis.

Abstract

In athlete coaching, mental factors often receive less attention than physical factors, such as technique, tactics, and strategy. This study explored the use of hypnosis as a mental exercise in coaching volleyball athletes. This study was conducted on 20 PBVSI volleyball athletes in Pidie Regency using an experimental one-group pretest-posttest design and then tested their abilities using the American Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD) volleyball playing skills test. The collected data were analysed using inferential statistics (specifically the t-test) with SPSS 27 at the 0.05 level of significance. The results showed a significant improvement in volleyball playing skills after hypnosis training, indicating its potential application in athlete coaching. Hypnosis was found to significantly improve concentration, confidence, and emotional control among athletes—key elements that contributed to overall sports performance. However, limitations of this study include the small sample size and focus on one type of sport. Therefore, further research involving larger samples across different sports is recommended for wider generalisability. In addition, long-term studies are needed to assess the sustained effects of hypnosis over time. In conclusion, our preliminary findings underscore the potential benefits of integrating mental training techniques such as hypnosis into athletic training programmes to improve performance outcomes. These results highlight the importance of considering psychological aspects alongside physical aspects in athletic training.
