Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of STEAM learning media based on local wisdom of Samosir Island on the creative thinking ability of fifth grade students of MIS Insan Ikhlas Islamic School. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a Quasy Experiment type and a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study was all fifth grade students of MIS Insan Ikhlas Islamic School. With a total of 63 students, with class VA as the experimental class and class VB as the control. To obtain the necessary data, in this study the researcher used an instrument in the form of a test. Data analysis used the Two-Way ANOVA analysis technique, Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test. After the ANOVA test, Fcount>Ftable (870.93> 4.00) was obtained, so H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between STEAM learning media based on local wisdom of Samosir Island on the creative thinking ability of fifth grade students at MIS Insan Ikhlas Islamic School.

Abstract

Taman Wisata Iman (TWI) Dairi merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata religi dan edukatif yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan, namun hingga saat ini masih minim promosi berbasis digital. Di tengah era transformasi digital dan tingginya ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap akses informasi melalui internet, keberadaan media promosi seperti website menjadi sangat penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah website sebagai media promosi TWI Dairi yang informatif, menarik, dan mudah diakses oleh masyarakat luas. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah model Waterfall, yang terdiri dari tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari proyek ini berupa website statis yang menampilkan informasi sejarah, galeri foto, lokasi, fasilitas, dan kontak pengelola TWI. Website ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan daya tarik wisata, memperluas jangkauan promosi, dan menjadi media komunikasi antara pengelola dan calon wisatawan. Selain itu, proyek ini juga menjadi sarana implementasi ilmu praktis di bidang teknologi informasi dan memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pengembangan pariwisata lokal di Kabupaten Dairi.

Abstract

Program pemanfaatan pekarangan atau yang biasa disebut KRPL (Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari) atau P2L (Pekarangan Pangan Lestari) memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Kota Batu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat keberlanjutan program ini dengan pendekatan multidimensional yang meliputi dimensi sosial, lingkungan, dan ekonomi. Penelitian menggunakan metode Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) melalui pendekatan Rapid Appraisal for Home Garden (RAP-HG) dengan data yang diperoleh dari penilaian responden terhadap atribut-atribut kunci di masing-masing dimensi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan software Microsoft Excel dan menghasilkan tiga output utama, yaitu analisis ordinasi indeks keberlanjutan, analisis leverage, dan analisis Monte Carlo untuk validasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi sosial memiliki indeks keberlanjutan tertinggi (63,06%), diikuti oleh dimensi lingkungan (59,94%) dan dimensi ekonomi (59,80%). Secara keseluruhan, tingkat keberlanjutan program termasuk kategori cukup berlanjut. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun program telah memberikan dampak positif pada keberlanjutan, tetapi peningkatan masih diperlukan untuk mencapai kategori tertinggi, yaitu sangat berlanjut. Strategi keberlanjutan yang diusulkan berdasarkan analisis Leverage mencakup peningkatan pemahaman cara bertani, penguatan dukungan masyarakat, pengendalian hama yang lebih berkelanjutan, dan peningkatan kuantitas panen. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengambil kebijakan dan pelaksana program dalam merancang intervensi yang lebih berkelanjutan untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan lokal.

Abstract

Background: Volleyball requires explosive leg power and coordination for effective spike performance, yet many adolescent athletes in sports-specialization classes in Indonesia show limited lower-limb power. This study aimed to compare the effects of two plyometric exercises, box jumps and squat jumps, on improving spike performance among these students in Yogyakarta. Methods: Twelve male sports-specialization students participating in extracurricular volleyball were purposively assigned to box jump or squat jump training groups (n = 6 each). Spike performance was assessed using a standardized skill test, and results were analyzed with descriptive statistics and paired-sample t-tests. Results: Both training groups showed improvements in volleyball spike performance. The box jump group increased from a pretest mean of 34 to a posttest mean of 64 spikes (t = 2.19), while the squat jump group improved from 31 to 45 spikes (t = 1.26). Neither change reached statistical significance at α = 0.05 (critical t = 2.571). Numerically, the box jump group showed a larger and more consistent gain than the squat jump group. Conclusion: Plyometric training led to practical improvements in volleyball spike performance, especially in the box jump group, though changes were not statistically significant. These results indicated that plyometric exercises could benefit school-based volleyball programs, while further research with larger samples and longer interventions is needed to confirm their effectiveness.

Abstract

Background: Climate change has become a major challenge for agriculture in tropical regions, particularly in East Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi, where cloves are a vital economic crop. Gaining insight into how farmers respond to and adapt to these climatic shifts is essential for formulating effective and sustainable climate resilience policies.Purpose: This study explores the range of adaptation strategies employed by clove farmers, identifies the socioeconomic factors shaping their strategic choices, analyzes the interconnections among different adaptation measures, and evaluates the primary barriers that constrain adaptation in East Kolaka.Design/Methodology/Approach: Primary data were obtained from 138 clove farmers in Anggaloosi Village, East Kolaka Regency, Indonesia. Descriptive statistical techniques were applied to describe the adaptation strategies used. The multivariate probit model was utilized to determine the influencing factors and interrelations among the strategies, while the Constraint Facing Index (CFI) method was used to assess the dominant obstacles faced by farmers in adapting to climate change.Findings/Results: Findings revealed that 80.43% of farmers participated in training and extension programs, 73.19% utilized climate information, 71.01% implemented irrigation improvements, and 65.94% diversified their income sources. Access to extension services emerged as the most significant determinant of adaptation behavior. Several adaptation strategies were found to be complementary or substitutive. The main challenge faced by clove farmers at the research location is environmental obstacles, namely, unpredictable changes in weather patterns, with a score of 305 at a very high level of obstacles.Conclusion: The study highlights that successful adaptation among clove farmers largely relies on increased access to agricultural extension, climate-related information, and financial assistance. Originality/value (State of the art): This study adds to the scarce body of empirical evidence concerning climate change adaptation in perennial crops such as cloves in Indonesia. By combining the Multivariate Probit and Constraint Facing Index (CFI) approaches, this study provides an integrated analysis of both the determinants and barriers to adaptation, generating valuable implications for policymakers and practitioners in designing localized and inclusive climate adaptation strategies. Abstract

This research aims to find out the use of Kahoot media to increase result of social sciences learning. This is researched in VII-F class with 36 students in Junior High School of 92 Jakarta since March to April 2019. The method used in this research is classroom action research that uses three cycles, each of cycles consists of four steps; Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. According to research, the learning result occurs enhancement each of cycle. In the first cycle as big as 42% (15 students) reaches score above minimum completeness criteria 72 with average of learning result 68, second cycle becomes 67% (24 students) reaching score above minimum completeness criteria 72 with average of learning result 74, and in the third cycle becomes 83% (30 students) reaching score above minimum completeness criteria 72 with average of learning result 83. Besides the increasing of learning result, student activeness of each cycle also improves, that's in first cycle of activity of active students in the ability to ask 9%, answer 11%, think 14%, and solve problems 14%. Then in second cycle there was an increase in activeness of students who were active in their ability to ask 22%, answer 17%, argue 20%, and solve problems 20%.  Then in third cycle in cycle 3 students who are active in the aspect of ability to ask 64%, answer 61%, argue 58%, and solve problems 56%. It can be concluded that the use of Kahoot media can increase the result of social studies learning and increasing the activeness of students in VII-F class at Junior High School of 92 Jakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the implementation of Reciprocal Teaching model to increase result of social sciences learning. This research was conducted in Class VIII-C, consisting of 37 students, in Junior High School of Terbuka 3 Depok from January to March 2020. A Classroom Action Research was used in this research, consisting of two cycles, and each cycle consisted of four stages; Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. The research results showed an increase in each cycle. In cycle 1, 59% (22 students) passed the KKM (65) with an average score of 64. In cycle 2, 84% (31 students) passed the KKM (65) with an average score of 76. In addition to learning result, students activeness also improved in each cycle. The percentage of students activeness in cycle 1 was 0% for students who were very active in asking question, answering question, providing opinion, and cooperating. Meanwhile in cycle 2, the number increased to 8% for students who were very active in asking and answering question, and increased to 11% for students who were very active in providing opinion and cooperating. Thus, it can be concluded that the Reciprocal Teaching model can improve students social science learning result above the KKM (65) and improve students activeness in the aspects of asking, answering, providing opinion, and cooperating.   Abstrak  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Kelas VIII-C yang berjumlah 37 peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 Terbuka Depok sejak bulan Januari sampai bulan Maret 2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: Perencanaan Tindakan (Planning), Pelaksanaan Tindakan (Acting), Observasi (Observing), dan Refleksi (Reflecting). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terjadi peningkatan setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus 1 sebesar 59% (22 peserta didik) yang memperoleh nilai diatas KKM 65 dengan rata-rata nilai 64, dan pada siklus 2 sebesar 84% (31 siswa) yang memperoleh nilai diatas KKM 65 dengan rata-rata nilai 76. Selain hasil belajar, keaktifan peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus. Persentase keaktifan peserta didik pada siklus 1 sebesar 0% untuk peserta didik yang sangat aktif dalam kemampuan bertanya, menjawab pertanyaan, berpendapat dan kerja sama. Kemudian pada siklus 2 meningkat dengan persentase sebesar 8% untuk peserta didik yang sangat aktif dalam kemampuan bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan, serta 11% untuk peserta didik yang sangat aktif dalam kemampuan berpendapat dan kerja sama. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik diatas KKM 65 dan meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dalam aspek kemampuan bertanya, menjawab, berpendapat, dan kerja sama.

Abstract

Self-regulated learning (SRL) plays a pivotal role in fostering independent and lifelong learners. It empowers students to take control of their learning processes, enabling them to set goals, monitor their progress, and adapt strategies accordingly. Ubiquitous learning (U-Learning), on the other hand, emphasizes the seamless integration of learning experiences into everyday life through the pervasive presence of technology. This study aims to improve self-regulated learning and increase the learning independence of Universitas Negeri Jakarta students through ubiquitous learning based on the LMS Moodle. This study used a quantitative descriptive method, with the research subjects being 40 students of the social studies education program at Jakarta State University. In addition, Moodle is a powerful tool for implementing ubiquitous learning and improving self-regulated learning practices. By capitalizing on the platform's features and leveraging its potential, educators can create dynamic learning environments that empower students to take ownership of their learning journey. Future research and implementation studies should focus on exploring the effectiveness of Moodle-based ubiquitous learning strategies in diverse educational contexts to further enhance self-regulated learning outcomes.

Abstract

Kemampuan menghapal Menghafal Surat-surat Pendek Melalui Metode Talaqin dan Tasmi. Dalam pengabdian ini permasalahan hanya terfokus pada penerapan metode Talaqin dan Tasmi dalam Meningkatkan hafalan surat-surat pendek kelas 5 SD Negeri 14 kota lubuklinggau. Dan bagaimana tingkat hasil hafalan surat-surat pendek dan hasil belajar melalui metode Talaqin dan Tasmi kelas 5 SD Negeri 14 kota Lubuklinggau. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan metode talaqin dan tasmi dalam meningkatkan hafalan surat-surat pendek kelas 5 SD Negeri 14 kota Lubuklinggau. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini meliputi akitvias guru dan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar dan tes hafalan surat al qodr ayat pertama sampai akhir. Hasil penelitian dengan metode Talaqin dan Tasmi kelas menyebutkan bahwa, metode Talaqin dan Tasmi telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Dari kegiatan ini bahwa kegiatan telah dilakukan memberikan dampak positif bagi peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dilihat adanya siswa menjuarai satu dua dan tiga baik berdasarkan indikator keberhasilan membuat media dalam pembelajaran. Artinya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah mencapai tujuan, yaitu menambah referensi media pembelajaran bagi para guru berupa metode dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran khususnya mata pelajarann pendidikan agama islam di sekolah dasar dan sejalan dengan teori yang menyimpulkan bahwa metode talaqin dan tasmi dapat menghafal al quran secara baik dan benar terutama menghafalkan al-quran yang terdapat pada juz 30 yaitu surat yang belum pernah dihafalkan oleh para murid.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a transformative learning model to facilitate social behavior change among street children at Rumah Singgah Kampung Anak Negeri Surabaya. The research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) approach, using the ADDIE model, which comprises Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study subjects are foster children at UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri Surabaya. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observations, then analyzed descriptively using the Goodman statistical method. The findings indicate that the transformative learning model is effective in improving the social behavior of street children through four key stages: real-life experience, reflection, conceptualization, and implementation. The implementation of this model has yielded positive outcomes, marked by a decrease in rebellious behavior, increased participation in learning activities, and improved socialization skills. The study’s implications suggest that the transformative learning model can serve as an effective approach for education and rehabilitation programs for street children in Indonesia.
