Abstract

This study aims to produce the development of Wordwall-based gamification media supported by Cross-cultural. The method used in this study is the Research and Development method with five phases of the ADDIE model according to Branch (2009), namely (1) Analysis (2) Design (3) Development (4) Implementation (5) Evaluation. The application of wordwall-based gamification development was carried out as many as 4 materials that had an average pre-test score of 60.5% with a grade of "C (good enough)". And for the post test average value of 86.26% with grade "A (very good). While the assessment of the validator is divided into two, namely media assessment and material assessment. The assessment on 12 materials was declared in the Very Good category with an average value of 92.90%. As for the wordwall-based media assessment, the category is very good with an average value of 91.7%. From the application and assessment of the results of this study, it was found that the development of gamification of Wordwall-based French cross-cultural questions was declared effective.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the strategy for developing learning materials of Research Methodology courses oriented to O.B.E based curriculum. This study used a qualitative research approach with research and development design. The focus of the research is the process of developing learning materials for Research Methodology courses oriented to O.B.E based curriculum, starting from needs analysis phase to implementation phase. Data were collected using observation techniques. Furthermore, the data were analysed using descriptive narrative technique. Based on the analysis, it is obtained a description that to develop learning materials for Research Methodology courses oriented to O.B.E based curriculum, should carry out the following activities: (1) conduct an analysis of the characteristics and objectives of O.B.E based curriculum and Research Methodology courses, (2) prepare the design of learning materials for Research Methodology courses that are in accordance with the objectives and characteristics of O.B.E based curriculum, (3) develop learning materials, (4) validate learning materials, (5) revise learning materials, and (6) conduct a try out of learning materials. By using this strategy, it can be obtained learning materials for Research Methodology courses that are valid, practical, and effective which can be used to support the implementation of O.B.E based curriculum.

Abstract

The low number of cases found compared to the incidence of Tuberculosis (TB) shows that the control of this disease becomes a serious problem. The stigma is suspected to be one of the obstacles to solving the TB problem in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the ability of the Jaga-rasa Jaga-tangga program to decrease TB stigma in two Public Health Centers (PHCs) in Sleman Regency, Indonesia. This is a quasi-experimental study design with a control method. Both intervention and control groups get health education about TB stigma. The intervention group also gets an education about the Jaga rasa Jaga tangga (take care of your neighbors as well as take care of their feelings) program. The outcome measure was the TB stigma scale that measure before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using paired t-tests and independent t-tests. 106 respondents were involved in this study divided into intervention and control groups. Age (p=0.006) and social status (p=0.015) are associated with TB stigma in the community. There were significant changes in the TB stigma scale after the intervention (paired =0.305; p=0.001). The Jaga-rasa Jaga-tangga program along with health education reduces TB stigma more effectively than health education only. Further studies are needed to confirm this result.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of product quality, price and service on decision making to purchase bricks at the Pt. Building Store. Independent Work. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sampling method used was simple random sampling with 80 samples. The type of data used in this research is primary data and secondary data in the form of questionnaires. The data analysis used in this research is classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS. The results of the research prove that product quality (x1), price (x2), and service (x3) have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y). and overall the third variable simultaneously influences purchasing decisions at TB. Abstract

One of the halal lifestyles that continues to increase in Indonesia is the use of halal cosmetic products. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of religiosity and country of origin on purchase decisions for halal cosmetic products through the variable halal awareness as an intervening variable. Analysis of the model used is Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The data in this study are primary data with 273 generation Z respondents in Central Java Province who use halal cosmetic products. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling method. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between religiosity and country of origin on purchase decisions for halal cosmetic products. Furthermore, halal awareness is able to mediate the relationship between religiosity and country of origin on the decision to purchase halal cosmetic products. Policy implications that can be applied by stakeholders include increasing halal education policies, strengthening halal certification on imported cosmetic products, facilitating halal certification on MSME products, and helping to promote local halal cosmetic products.

Abstract

In the era of social media, the current reality has led to a deviation in individual behavior within families. Family systems relying heavily on technology have shifted from traditional to modern. The research aims to explain why social media can lead to divorce in Gorontalo Religious Court. This study constitutes empirical research (field research). The research was meticulously conducted through direct fieldwork. The approach employed in this study is a social approach. The researcher directly investigates and deeply describes the commitment of married couples in household life and the influence of social media. To obtain valid data, the researcher used observation techniques for data collection. The researcher observed within the scope of scientific activities during the observation activities. In this case, the researcher observed 10 pairs of Muslim families in the city of Gorontalo, focusing on how the commitment of Gorontalo Muslim families has shifted. The number of respondents interviewed by the researcher was approximately 10 Muslim families, consisting of 5 husbands and 5 wives each. Finally, Documentation collected data from Gorontalo Religious Court judgments on divorces during 2021. Results of the research found that social media has an impact on two things, namely: 1) the fragility of Gorontalo Muslim family commitments due to tolerance of extramarital behavior in Gorontalo Muslim families, and 2) a shift in divorce orientation among Gorontalo Muslim families, where about 13.8% of divorce cases are caused by infidelity through social media.

Abstract

This study aims to find the dimensions of Islamic education in the practice of brokohan and market culture. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. In collecting data, the researcher uses the methods of observation, documentation, and interviews. This study found that Brokohan and Sepasaran are a form of expression of gratitude from parents for having a child, so that they are safe in the hereafter and are always given good luck in life and are always protected by God. The dimensions of Islamic education at the Brokohan and Market events are friendship, prayer, charity, gratitude and optimism.

Abstract

Isu ekologi menjadi penting untuk dibahas, melihat kondisi saat ini yang sangat memprihatinkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas bagaimana relasi antara manusia dengan lingkungannya, polusi udara dan suhu udara ekstrim sebagai sebuah isu ekologi dilihat dari sudut pandang tafsir. Untuk menjawab hal tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan (library research). Data-data diambil dari berbagai sumber teks kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat relasi antara manusia dengan ekologi dalam beberapa hal yakni pertama, manusia sebagai pengelola lingkungan dan sumber daya alam. Kedua, manusia sebagai subjek yang diberi amanah untuk merawat dan menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Ketiga, Bumi merupakan tempat tinggal dan tempat untuk beribadah bagi manusia kepada Tuhannya. Keempat, Bumi dan seisinya merupakan objek agar manusia mau berpikir tentang tanda-tanda kebesaran-Nya. Kemudian, polusi udara dan suhu udara ekstrim merupakan salah satu bentuk lingkungan yang tidak sehat bagi manusia. Beberapa ayat Al-Qur’an menyindir manusia terkait ketidakmauannya untuk berpikir dan merenungkan terkait ciptaan-ciptaan-Nya sehingga mereka tidak mau memperhatikan kondisi ekologi, menjaga, dan merawatnya. Padahal, alam raya diciptakan sebagai lingkungan yang nyaman bagi manusia.

Abstract

Reducing a gas emission of shipping transportations become a main goal of international maritime organization to achieve a clean energy. One of best scenarios to achieve this goal is to shift a fossil fuel to a renewable energy-based fuel of a ship propulsion. This paper studies an optimization of a control system of the renewable-based small gas turbine engine for the ship propulsion. Proposed control system consists of a proportional-integral with engine performance limiters to avoid an engine damage. Proportional-integral gains are tuned by a whale optimization algorithm. A gain scheduling analysis of a step response is performed to obtain a searching area of tuning parameters and values of constant gains. In this step, the gains are modeled as function of plant variables. After the searching area is obtained, the proportional-integral gains are optimized using the whale optimization algorithm while the additional gains are set as constant values. Using this scenario, stable and optimal gains have been successfully achieved. Results show that the proposed method has better performance than that of the previous methods, i.e. gain scheduling and gain scheduling optimized by the whale optimization algorithm. The proposed method has lowest fitness value and does not have an overshoot problem.

Abstract

This paper aims to formulate the relationship between the halal tourism concept and maqasid sharia. This library research collected the data from Arabic books, literature, journal articles, websites, etc, then were analyzed with a content analysis strategy. This study revealed that halal tourism is carried out to realize the benefit of religion (hifdz diin) by applying Islamic teachings in tourism activities. Some of the efforts to keep Islamic teachings are providing places of worship, halal food, halal lodging, halal financial services, and others. On the other hand, maqasid sharia can be the basis for developing halal tourism, along with al-Qur'an, al-Hadith, and other relevant bases. Jaser Auda’s concept of Maqasid Sharia stated that the tourism sector is carried out to improve community welfare. At least, maqasid sharia can reinforce seeing halal tourism from Islamic perspective.
