Abstract

Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that is an important health problem throughout the world because of its prevalence which continues to increase in 2019 to 22% in the age group 18 years, as well as its association with cardiovascular disease, stroke, retinopathy and kidney disease. The purpose of this mentoring is to increase family knowledge, especially in Barisallo Village, Kel. Parangloe Kab. Gowa. The method used is the lecture method using banner and lieflet media. This activity was carried out for 6 days. The results of the activities include the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. From the results of the service, there are still many people who experience a diagnosis/or problems with high blood pressure, and there are still many people who do not know how to prevent hypertension itself. So from this basis, community service is about efforts to increase public knowledge to reduce the risk of hypertension to coincide with the spread of covid 19. It is hoped that health workers will be even more active in conducting health education, especially in Barisallo Village, Kec. Parangloe.

Abstract

The incidence of stroke increases with age, with an estimated 10% of ischemic strokes occurring in individuals under 50 years of age. Stroke itself has consequences that can worsen a person's condition both physically and psychologically, especially in young adults. The method implemented to help the community is by providing counseling and assistance to housewives. The counseling provided using the SUPERNOL method is Spiritual, Management of Feelings, Using Ratios, Nutrition and Exercise. The results of the service show that participants are able to know and understand preventing recurrent strokes and controlling stroke risk factors.

Abstract

Choking is a condition where the upper airway is blocked by food or other objects which causes breathing problems. The method used in this Community Service Activity (PKM) starts from the initial survey, problem formulation, pre test, activity implementation and post test. The results of the activity showed that there was a significant increase in the level of knowledge of parents in providing first aid for choking events in children. The results of the presentation showed that 63% experienced a good increase in knowledge and 37% experienced a moderate increase. It is hoped that this community service activity will help the community, especially parents who have school-age children who are prone to choking, can provide first aid to prevent disability or death

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out differences in student learning achievement before and after implementing the peer tutoring model. The total population was 99 students, using saturated sampling techniques. This research used a pre-experimental research design with a one group pretest-posttest design, using the Paired Wilcoxon Test to obtain Sig. 0.000<0.05 means that the student's learning achievement after being treated is different from the score before the student was treated with the peer tutoring model. Abstract

Salah satu point dalam arah kebijakan pembangunan gizi di Indonesia adalah penguatan riset dan pengembangan termasuk monitoring dan evaluasi. Artinya riset merupakan salah satu jalan menuju pembangunan gizi yang berkualitas, baik perorangan maupun masyarakat. Data menunjukan bahwa Indonesia merupakan negara dengan stunting nomor kelima didunia, dan merupakan nomor satu di Asia Tenggara. Secara umum, riset ini bertujuan untuk memberi informasi wilayah sebaran balita stunting di Kota Makassar. Sedangkan secara khusus untuk menganalisis dan memproyeksikan kedepan terkait perkembangan stunting di Kota Makassar, dan memetakan wilayah sebaran balita stunting berdasarkan hasil proyeksi. Riset ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif untuk menganalisis data statistik yaitu data trend perkembangan stunting di Kota Makassar, selama beberapa tahun terakhir (data runut) kemudian melakukan proyeksi dengan membaca trend data stunting, menggunakan alat analisis eksponential smothing dengan software microsoft exel dan software IBM SPSS statistik 22 dengan model holt’s linear trend. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Proyeksi jumlah kasus stunting di Kota Makassar pada periode 2020-2029 mengalami penurunan atau dengan kata lain terjadi trend positif. 2) Pemetaan wilayah persebaran kasus stunting dilakukan di 47 Puskesmas atau 47 titik koordinat pemasangan dengan Global Positioning System (GPS), yang tersebar di 15 Kecamatan atau seluruh wilayah Kota Makassar, hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa Kecamatan Manggala merupakan kecamatan dengan persentase kasus stunting tertinggi pada tahun 2016 dan kasus terendah terdapat di kecamatan ujung tanah. Sedangkan kasus tertinggi pada tahun 2019 terdapat di Kecamatan Biringkanaya dan kasus terendah di Kecamatan Wajo.

Abstract

Abstrak. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an endemic disease in Indonesia caused by the dengue virus and transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Klurak Candi Village is one of the areas prone to the spread of DHF. This KKN program aims to provide education to the community and to prevent and control DHF through community empowerment and environmental-based activities. The methodology used includes initial surveys and counseling. The results of this program show an increase in community awareness and a reduction in mosquito breeding sites, which is expected to reduce the incidence of DHF in Klurak Candi Village. Keywords: Eradication, Implementation, DHF Abstrak. Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit endemik di Indonesia yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue dan ditularkan oleh nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Desa Klurak Candi merupakan salah satu daerah yang rentan terhadap penyebaran DBD. Program KKN ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat serta melakukan pencegahan dan penanggulangan DBD melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat dan kegiatan berbasis lingkungan. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi survei awal dan penyuluhan Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat dan pengurangan tempat berkembang biaknya nyamuk, yang diharapkan dapat menurunkan angka kejadian DBD di Desa Klurak Candi. Abstract

Penggunaan Metode Self Regulated Learning (SRL) dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Kelas X Di SMK Al-Gina Kabupaten Tangerang. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk mengetahui manfaat penggunaan metode Self Regulated Learning (SRL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMK Al-Gina Kabupaten Tangerang. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan peserta didik kelas X dengan jumlah 117 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mendapat respon positif dari peserta didik manfaat penggunaan metode Self Regulated Learning (SRL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam kelas X di SMK Al-Gina Kabupaten Tangerang. Kata Kunci: Self Regulated Learning, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

 ABTRAKSaah satu bentuk kegiatan peatihan dan pendampingan yang diakukan berupa workshop untuk terpenuhinya kecakapan keterampian dimiiki oeh caon pendidik agar dapat dan mahir membuat desain sistem pembeajaran daam memperkuat karakter peserta didik. Kegiatan peaksanaan workshop yang dihadiri oeh audiens dari caon guru PAI (mahasiswa), terdiri dari mahasiswa semester V dan semester VII. Hasi kegiatan workshop peatihan penyusunan desain sistem pembeajaran daam memperkuat karakter berjaan dengan baik sesuai perencanaan, dan hampir tidak menemukan kendaa dan hambatan. Meaui pendampingan terpadu ini diharapkan para caon guru yang berada di Universitas Isam Syekh-Yusuf Tangerang dapat menuntun dan membantu optimaisasi pembeajaran idea dan pencapaian tujuan pembeajaran terutama penguatan karakter berjaan dengan efektif dan efisien.Kata kunci: Penyusunan Desain Pembeajaran, Pendidikan Karakter

Abstract

Every Indonesian citizen has the right to a quality education as mandated in the 1945 Constitution Article 31 Paragraph 1. This right is inclusive and includes all citizens, including those with physical, emotional, mental and social disabilities. in an effort to maximize the management of inclusive education, School of Universe (SOU) develops various supporting components of inclusive education namely student management, inclusive curriculum development, management of education personnel, equipping facilities and infrastructure that support the learning process, management of financing and environmental management that involves the community. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data sources come from interviews, observations and documents. While the data analysis process refers to systematic steps based on analysis techniques ranging from data reduction, data display to drawing a conclusion through theme analysis. This research shows that School Of Universe (SOU) is able to manage Inclusive Education optimally. This success is achieved through the existence of a therapy and consultation center, namely the Learning Support Center (LSC) and the existence of a Research and Development (R&D) institution as a manager of students, staff and school educators. thus, SOU can provide appropriate, sustainable, and integrated services to develop inclusive education.

Abstract

Writing plays an important role in language acquisition, promoting the students’ experiment to communicate their ideas and strengthen the language ability that they learn in class. However, the researcher found that students had low ability in writing. The research objectives were: (1) To describe the implementation of brainwriting strategy can improve students’ ability in writing recount text. (2) To identify the improvement of students’ ability in writing recount text by using brainwriting strategy. This research used a classroom action research design that conducts in two cycles. The research subject was X IPA 1 grade SMAN 1 Sangatta Selatan students. These research findings showed that: (1) The implementation of the brainwriting strategy where the students divide into some groups that consist of 6 or more participants, then every student write three ideas on the paper until 5 minutes the paper passed to the right person, just like that until all of the participants have got the paper. (2) The improvement of students’ ability to write recount text using brainwriting strategy could be seen from the comparison calculation between the total average cycle I and cycle II scores. The implementation of brainwriting strategy can improve the students’ ability to write recount text.
