Abstract

The creation of website-based learning media in English as a learning aid for students is an important topic in today's digital era. This article discusses the development process of an educational website that uses interactive content to help students learn topics by including various features, such as fun video animations, interactive games, and quizzes. Users and experts feedbacks are the important part of the development cycle, allowing for continuous improvement and refinement of the website. This project was conducted using the Research and Development method with the 4D model, namely Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The research results were obtained after the web-based learning media was presented and validated by teacher, media expert, and material expert, so that the media was valid and suitable for use. This website has several advantages, such as flexibility of access, responsiveness to various screen sizes, and the ability to facilitate students' concept understanding. Keywords: learning media, website-based learning, Research and Development, Junior High School

Abstract

Kimia merupakan cabang ilmu yang mempelajari suatu materi sampai tingkat molekuler. Ilmu ini mempelajari tentang susunan, sifat, perubahan materi, struktur, serta perubahan energi yang muncul  pada perubahan materi tersebut. Oleh sebab itu, isi dari ilmu kimia dominan tentang konsep yang rumit dan abstrak sehingga sulit untuk dipahami. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali potensi kearifan lokal Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan Yogyakarta khususnya pada makanan khas daerah seperti Kopi Joss, Torakur (Tomat Rasa Kurma), dan Brem yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar pada pembelajaran kimia sebagai bentuk pengintegrasian etnosains dalam pembelajaran kimia. Jenis penelitian yang diaplikasikan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Data sekunder adalah sumber data yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makanan khas daerah seperti Kopi Joss, Torakur (Tomat Rasa Kurma), dan Brem memiliki potensi yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar pada pembelajaran kimia khususnya pada materi perubahan fisika dan kimia serta jenis-jenis reaksi kimia sebagai bentuk pengintegrasian etnosains dalam pembelajaran kimia.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas strategi inovatif pemberdayaan muallaf melalui peningkatan pendidikan keagamaan di Desa Patikalain. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kebutuhan akan pembinaan yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan bagi muallaf di desa tersebut. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah merancang dan mengimplementasikan strategi yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan praktik keagamaan para muallaf. Metode PkM yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dan muallaf. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah muallaf di Desa Patikalain serta mahasiswa yang menjalani KKN di desa tersebut. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan PAR terbukti efektif dalam melibatkan komunitas dan muallaf secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan praktik keagamaan mereka. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan bagi mahasiswa KKN mendatang dan pihak terkait dalam upaya memberdayakan muallaf melalui pendidikan keagamaan yang lebih inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Objective : Early breastfeeding initiation  is a baby who starts breastfeeding himself immediately after birth given the chance of baby's skin contact with his mother's skin which is done for at least an hour immediately after birth, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations to reduce infant mortality and support exclusive breastfeeding , which is also the main cause of infant mortality in Indonesia is neonatal mortality by 46.2%.Methods : This type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional study design which is carried out in hospital. TK.II Pelamonia Makassar, the population in this study was puerperal mothers of 158 respondents.Results : The results of this study indicate that of the 158 respondents who did IMD as many as 69.6% and those who did not do IMD 30.4%. on the attitude variable obtained significant results (sig. = 0,000) or p value <0, 05 where there is a relationship between attitude and IMD.Conclusion : There is no meaningful relationship between knowledge and IMD at Tk Hospital. II Pelamonia Makassar and There is a significant relationship between attitude and IMD in Tk. II Pelamonia Makassar.

Abstract

Chicken meat is a food that is easily damaged, so preservation was required to maintain the quality of the meat both physically, chemically, and microbiologically. One way is to use galangal, which contains phenols, flavonoids, and terpenoid compounds, which reduce microbial activity and inhibit the chemical activity of meat. The research aimed to determine the effect of curing time and galangal concentration on chicken meat's physical and chemical quality. The research method used a 2-factor Completely Randomized Design. The results showed no interaction (p>0.01) between curing time and galangal concentration. The length of curing from 0-4 days has a significantly different effect (p<0.01) on chicken meat's physical and chemical quality. The longer the meat is curing, the quality decreases. Galangal, 10-20% concentration, did not affect chicken meat quality (p>0.01). It means that galangal can maintain the physical and chemical quality of chicken meat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and feasibility of the LKPD and to determine student responses to the HOTS-based LKPD that was developed. This study uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the ADDIE model. The model consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection technique used a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale to determine the validity and feasibility as well as student responses to the developed Student Worksheet (LKPD). The results of the research are the Development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) Based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on the Material of the Two Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) which are valid and suitable for use and excellent student responses to the HOTS-based LKPD. Based on the results of media expert validation, a percentage score of 80% was obtained in the "Valid" category, the results of material expert validation by the lecturers obtained a percentage score of 78.75% in the "Valid Enough" category, the results of material expert validation by the teacher obtained a percentage score of 83, 33% in the "Valid" category, the results of the RPP validation obtained a percentage of 81.06% in the "Valid" category, the feasibility validation results obtained an average score of 80.6% in the "Eligible" category and the student response results obtained a percentage score of 80 ,4% with the category “Very Good”.

Abstract

E-learning has always been a need for everyone. It develops to be utilized since Covid-19 attack. For this reason, many parties including Education attempts to involve applications in E-learning materials. Teachers, in particular required a lot of methods to apply teaching and learning materials through online materials. Within this case, this community service aims to train teachers in using and applying E-learning applications into the classroom. The following community service was accomplished in several schools located in Manado city, such as SMP Yapim, MTs Assalaam, Mts Al Muhajirin. The subjects were teachers from the following schools who have been teaching during covid-pandemic. This activity was held during one month. The results say that the teachers feel motivated, improved and getting understood to have an easier method to use E-learning application such as Edmodo and Google Classroom for their Classroom. The tools in those applications are useful, for instance, to perform an understanding about how to use formula in Math, how to express ideas in English, how to write an assignment in History, and how to learn sufficiently and properly. In the meantime, students are also conveyed grateful and enjoyable to use google classroom and Edmodo application. However, factors such as do not have and have limited smartphone, internet network, and the late to access the apps can be said as the problems found during the service by the team. Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of financial performance, capital structure and company size on company value. This research uses a quantitative approach based on a cause-and-effect hypothesis. There are 26 food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020 and 2022. Using sampling criteria, 20 companies were selected as samples, resulting in 60 companies with data value for three years. The research results show that the financial performance variable partially has a positive and significant effect on company value as shown by (t count 5.820 > t table 2.003). On the other hand, the capital structure variable (t count 1.216 < t table 2.003) and the company size variable (t count -1.130 < t table 2.003) do not have a significant effect on company value. Meanwhile, simultaneously financial performance, capital structure and company size have a positive and significant effect on company value (F count 11.511 > F table 2.77). With a standard Beta coefficient of 0.658, the financial performance variable has a dominant influence on company value.

Abstract

This paper presents the form of the living Qur’an contained in the film Siccin 1. This film is a Turkish horror film. The focal point of this research is the use of the verses of the Qur’an used by a shaman who is carrying out his act of witching someone. Departing from the author’s understanding of the verses of the Qur’an, which are multi-functional and have the performance as something that has great power as well as being a medicine for its users, intermediary for peace of life, against destructive supernatural powers, and other good things. However, in this film, it is different; the verses of the Qur’an are used as a tool to harm others. The author has two reasons that underlie the choice of this film as research material, namely, in the Siccin film, there is a living Qur’an phenomenon in the form of the use of the verses of the Qur’an in witchcraft rituals, and the Siccin film has become the consumption of many people. The author will research by analyzing and looking for synchronization between the ritual of witchcraft and the verses of the Qur’an used in the film Siccin. The author will also look at the informative and performative aspects of the verses of the Qur’an used in this film. The writer hopes that this research can find a synchronization of the use of the verses of the Qur’an in the ritual of witchcraft and can find the performance of the Qur’an in the film Siccin. Then, the author will examine the transformation of the verses of the Qur’an into mantras. Witchcraft in this film.

Abstract

The level of competition in the world of marketing is very tight, making every company always try to be able to increase market share and reach new consumers. Companies must be able to determine the right marketing strategy. Igood Coffee is one of the MSMEs in Purworejo Regency who has just started his business and needs a marketing strategy to boost product sales. This research was conducted to find out more about the effect of the marketing mix (product, price, promotion, and place) on purchasing decisions for Igood Coffee products, either partially or simultaneously. The approach was carried out using a simple random sampling method to take 42 respondents as a sample. In the instrument test using validity and reliability tests. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the product variables and place variables had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Igood Coffee products, while price variables and promotion variables did not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the test results it is also known that simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence between the marketing mix (product, price, promotion, and place) on purchasing decisions for Igood Coffee products. Therefore, Igood Coffee must pay attention to pricing and promotion by optimizing social media. In addition, Igood Coffee must maintain product quality and offer good service facilities to influence purchasing decisions and interest in buying Igood Coffee products.
