Abstract

Drug-induced autoimmunity (DIA) presents a complex obstacle in pharmacological safety due to its rare occurrence and unpredictable manifestation, often compounded by class imbalance in clinical datasets. This study investigates the influence of three loss functions, Binary Cross-Entropy (BCE), Focal Loss, and Dice Loss, on the performance of deep learning architectures comprising Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and 2-Layer Neural Network (SimpleNN). Models were trained using numerical molecular descriptors from the publicly available DIA dataset. The architectures were chosen based on their complementary properties: MLP is suitable for high-dimensional tabular descriptor data, CNN was examined to explore whether 1D convolutions can capture localized feature interactions among correlated descriptors, and 2-Layer Neural Network served as a lightweight baseline for comparison. A stratified 5-fold cross-validation strategy was employed to ensure statistical robustness. The results demonstrate that the MLP model, optimized with Focal Loss, consistently delivered the highest classification performance, achieving average scores of 94% accuracy, 93% precision, 95% recall, 94% F1-score, and an AUC of 0.97. In contrast, CNN and SimpleNN architectures yielded less favorable outcomes under the same loss configurations. These findings highlight the importance of aligning loss function choice with model complexity in the context of imbalanced biomedical data. The insights from this work contribute to the development of more reliable computational frameworks for early-phase immunogenicity screening and support the advancement of precision pharmacovigilance strategies.

Abstract

Abstract: Asthma is a chronic respiratory disease that affects millions of people worldwide, making early detection crucial to prevent complications. This study aims to compare the performance of the Decision Tree and Random Forest algorithms in classifying asthma based on clinical symptom data. The data were processed through feature selection and model training stages, then evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.The experimental analysis revealed that the Random Forest algorithm surpassed the Decision Tree in all metrics, achieving 95.19% accuracy, 90.43% precision, 95.00% recall, and 93.00% F1-score. In contrast, the Decision Tree obtained 89.14% accuracy, 90.60% precision, 88.70% recall, and 89.70% F1-score. These results suggest that Random Forest is more robust and dependable, especially in managing complex and imbalanced medical datasets. Abstrak: Asma merupakan penyakit pernapasan kronis yang memengaruhi jutaan orang di seluruh dunia sehingga deteksi dini sangat penting untuk mencegah komplikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan kinerja algoritma Decision Tree dan Random Forest dalam mengklasifikasikan asma berdasarkan data gejala klinis. Data diproses melalui tahapan seleksi fitur dan pelatihan model, kemudian dievaluasi menggunakan akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Random Forest memberikan performa terbaik dengan akurasi 90.43%, presisi 95.00%, recall 95.00%, dan F1-score 93.00%. Sebaliknya, Decision Tree memperoleh akurasi 89.14%, presisi 90.60%, recall 88.70%, dan F1-score 89.70%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Random Forest lebih kuat dan dapat diandalkan, terutama dalam mengelola kumpulan data medis yang kompleks dan tidak seimbang. Kata kunci: deteksi asma; decision tree; random forest; pembelajaran mesin.

Abstract

Program ini bertujuan untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan sampah yang terdapat di yayasan pondok pesantren Mambaul Ulum Jurit. Program ini dilakukan oleh mahasiswa KKN Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global. Metode pelaksanaan program KKN ini diawali dengan observasi lokasi, penentuan lokasi pemasanan tungku pembakaran sampah (insinerator), dan dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan dua buah tungku pembakaran sampah (insinerator) dilokasi yang sudah ditentukan. Metode yang digunakan di dalam kegiatan ini adalah implementasi. implementasi/penerapan teknologi tungku pembakaran sampah (insinerator) digunakan untuk mengurangi volume sampah yang ada di yayasan mambaul ulum. Selain menyiapkan tungku pembakaran sampah, tim KKN juga membagikan 11 bak sampah bambu sekaligus melakukan sosialiasi terkait pemilahan sampah organik dan arorganik kepada masyarakat sekolah. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik dari pihak yayasan, karena permasalahan sampah diyayasan mambaul ulum jurit belum mendapat solusi yg tepat. Sehingga, program pembuatan tungku pembakaran sampah (insinerator) ini akan oleh kelompok KKN Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global sangat diapresiasi oleh pihak yayasan.

Abstract

Jejawan (Sasak) script, also known as hanacaraka, is a traditional writing system of the Sasak tribe in Lombok, which is derived from Javanese (Kawi) script. This script is related to Javanese and Balinese scripts, which were originally written on palm leaves. The purpose of this community service is to preserve and maintain the Sasak regional culture in the form of a script that is becoming less and less known to the community itself. This research is necessary to introduce and preserve the regional culture of Sasak, Lombok, to the younger generation. This community service involved 32 students from the Indonesian Language Education Study Program in their second semester. This activity was carried out for one day, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. WITA. The initial activity involved introducing the Sasak script to the participants, followed by writing practice, and finally a reflection on the day's activities. Through this training, it is hoped that students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program can contribute to the preservation of the Sasak script and when they enter the workforce.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve awareness, knowledge, and practices of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) within the Ash-Samadi NWDI Islamic Boarding School Foundation through a science-based approach. The program was motivated by the low level of hygiene behavior among students (santri) due to limited facilities and a lack of scientific understanding of the importance of cleanliness. The implementation method used an action-oriented community intervention model consisting of preparation, education, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation stages. Education was carried out through interactive training, simple scientific demonstrations, and hands-on practices such as the construction of handwashing stations, waste sorting bins, and organic composters. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions (FGD). The results showed a significant improvement in students’ awareness and behavior regarding personal and environmental hygiene. The students gained scientific understanding of the relationship between cleanliness and health, and an environmentally conscious student group was formed to ensure program sustainability. Thus, this activity demonstrates that a science-based approach in PHBS education is effective in shaping healthy living behaviors and can serve as a model for similar implementations in other Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Coffee commodities are one of the important commodities in the plantation subsector. Most of Indonesia's coffee production is a plantation commodity that is exported to global markets. To address the above issues, the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis is used; LQ analysis is employed to determine basic/superior and non-basic commodities. Based on the research conducted, it was concluded that the LQ analysis of coffee commodities has an index value of 3.45 = LQ > 1, which indicates that coffee commodities in South OKU Regency are basic or superior commodities, meaning that the production sector of coffee commodities can already meet the needs of South OKU Regency.

Abstract

Low accuracy in the early identification of at-risk students often hinders timely academic intervention. This study analyzes and compares seven machine learning algorithms to predict student academic achievement, aiming to provide a foundation for a reliable early warning model. The dataset includes 2.392 students with 15 features covering demographics, learning behavior, and environmental support. Model training was performed using GridSearchCV optimization combined with stratified cross-validation to mitigate overfitting.Performance was evaluated using MAE, RMSE, and R². The results show CatBoost performed the best R² = 0,774; RMSE = 0,581; MAE = 0,306) followed by LightGBM (R² = 0,771) and Gradient Boosting (R² = 0,767), while MLP showed the lowest performance. Feature importance analysis placed GPA as the dominant predictor, followed by absenteeism and weekly study time. These findings affirm the superiority of boosting-based models in capturing complex nonlinear relationships and provide a practical framework for educational institutions to build data-driven early warning systems.

Abstract

The article that the author conducted regarding the Fiqh Siyasah Perspective on the Rights of Disabilities to Become Election Supervisors in Law Number 8 of 2018 (Kota Padang Panjang) allows people with disabilities to become election supervisors. However, only by providing accessibility, which is an easy way for persons with disabilities to achieve equal opportunities to obtain the same status, rights and obligations, equality of status can be realized. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to provide accessibility for persons with disabilities. It is hoped that with these efforts, persons with disabilities can be totally integrated in realizing national development goals in general and improving their social welfare in particular. This variety of persons with disabilities has different difficulties and problems. Different difficulties and problems need various solutions. In Law number 7 of 2017 concerning general elections it has been explained that persons with disabilities have the same rights as others to be elected or vote. Whereas in Law No. 8 of 2016 it is emphasized again that in Article 13 letter (f) disabilities have their rights in politics to become organizers in elections. This study aims to find out how the practice of Law No. 8 of 2016 regarding the right to disability to become election supervisors and find out from the siyasa fiqh aspect. At this writing, it examines the facts that are in Bawaslu and this really happened in the Bawaslu realm. The author can conclude that disability rights are still not given enough attention when it comes to their political rights to become election supervisors

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of financial report accountability and religiosity on muzaki trust in the Baitul Maal Hidayatullah (BMH) institution in Bengkulu. Methodology: This research adopts a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 84 muzaki of BMH Bengkulu and analyzed after passing validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. Results: The findings show that financial report accountability and religiosity have a positive and significant influence on muzaki trust. Greater transparency and accountability in financial reporting, supported by strong religious values, enhance donor confidence in zakat institutions. Novelty: This study integrates financial accountability and religiosity as complementary determinants of trust in Islamic philanthropic institutions. Findings: Financial accountability strengthens institutional credibility, while religiosity reinforces moral commitment and trust. Originality: The originality lies in providing localized empirical evidence from a regional zakat institution in Indonesia. Conclusions: Strengthening transparent financial governance and religiosity is crucial for sustaining muzaki trust. Type of Paper: Empirical Research Paper.

Abstract

The attendance and payroll system currently implemented at CV. Maju Berkah Sosa Julu (Ma-bes-J) still uses a manual method or is still done by signing the attendance book. Every employee who comes to work is required to record their arrival time on the daily attendance sheet. The cri-teria for employee payroll is attendance, so the payroll system must be stricter in entering em-ployee attendance criteria, with slow and manual data processing also resulting in delays in sal-ary payments and the potential for miscalculation. As a result, not only employees are disadvan-taged, but also the company that has to bear the burden of employee dissatisfaction. The purpose of this study is to build a system that can increase employee productivity and satisfaction at CV. MABES-J. This application is expected to provide convenience for employees in recording at-tendance and providing clear information about the salary they receive. Researchers use the Agile method to develop the system, emphasizing flexibility and adaptation to change. The Agile ap-proach allows iterative system development, with a focus on collaboration and quick response to feedback. This study produces a system that brings significant changes in employee attendance management at CV. Maju Berkah Sosa Julu (Mabes-J). Before this system, the attendance record-ing process was done manually, which was often time-consuming and prone to errors. With the implementation of this new system, employees no longer need to fill in attendance manually. The system automatically records all attendance data, and integrates it into a centralized database.
