Abstract

The presence of antibiotics in aquatic environments poses significant environmental and health risks, requiring advanced treatment strategies for their removal. In this study, we report the straightforward hydrothermal synthesis of high surface area ortho-Nb2O5  and its dual role as both an adsorbent and photocatalyst for the removal of tetracycline (TC) from wastewater. The structural and  morphological properties of ortho-Nb2O5 were systematically investigated using XRD, FTIR, FESEM-EDS, and BET surface area analysis. The ortho-Nb2O5 synthesized at 72 hours (Nb2O5_72) exhibited a high BET surface area of 242.42 m2/g, mesoporosity, and a bandgap of 3.28 eV, enabling efficient UV-driven photocatalysis. Adsorption studies revealed a high TC removal capacity of 32 mg/g at equilibrium. Under UV irradiation, ortho-Nb2O5 achieved significant photocatalytic degradation of TC.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam naskah drama "Keong Mas," sebuah cerita rakyat dari Jawa Timur dan Madura. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yang berfokus pada penggambaran keadaan objek penelitian tanpa melibatkan angka. Pendekatan ini mengidentifikasi nilai moral berdasarkan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Nurgiyantoro, yang membagi nilai moral menjadi tiga aspek: nilai moral individu, nilai moral sosial, dan nilai moral religius. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa naskah drama "Keong Mas" mengandung sembilan nilai moral, dengan rincian satu nilai moral individu, lima nilai moral sosial, dan tiga nilai moral religius. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, sesama, dan Tuhan, serta menggambarkan bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut berperan dalam kehidupan manusia. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana karya sastra dapat mencerminkan realitas sosial dan nilai-nilai budaya yang ada dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi menuntut sektor perhotelan untuk mengelola layanan TI secara efektif guna menunjang operasional bisnis dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini menganalisis manajemen layanan TI di Hotel Aston Palembang dengan menggunakan kerangka kerja ITIL V3, khususnya pada domain Service Operation. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan strategi studi kasus, melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen internal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hotel telah menerapkan proses manajemen insiden dan permintaan layanan, namun masih dilakukan secara manual dan belum terdokumentasi secara formal. Rata-rata terjadi 8–10 insiden per bulan dengan waktu penyelesaian 1–2 hari. Selain itu, belum tersedia dokumentasi SLA, sistem ticketing digital, maupun proses change management yang terstruktur. Hanya domain Service Operation yang berjalan relatif baik; domain lain masih perlu pengembangan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi baru karena studi berbasis ITIL di sektor perhotelan masih terbatas. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kesinambungan layanan melalui dokumentasi formal dan perencanaan strategis sesuai praktik terbaik ITIL.

Abstract

This study examines communication styles and their moral implications on Tinder within the disruptive online dating landscape, focusing on Indonesian cultural dynamics. The paper aims to identify user communication patterns, motivations, and moral concerns on Tinder, especially risks faced by female users in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, the data were gathered through participant observation. Users were classified into three main groups, including generic and casual responders, direct and explicit communicators, and deceptive scammers, in addition to another category of non-responders. Communication often lacked authenticity, focusing on short-term goals. The study found significant moral degradation that leads to potential risks toward safety, particularly for women. It produces an identification graph of language cues that signal user intent, which can be used to enhance digital safety and protect against scams, harassment, and exploitation. Based on the findings, this study recommends the need for heightened awareness, education, and policy improvements for safer online dating. It advocates for increased user vigilance, especially for women, and suggests that identifying linguistic cues could enhance digital safety against scams and harassment.

Abstract

The use of technology in education has been proven to have many positive impacts. One of them is supporting the learning process, especially to increase students' learning motivation. This study aims to analyze the impact of the use of technology in the learning process at SD Negeri Purwoyoso 04. The research method used is a literature study by collecting data from various sources related to the use of technology in education. This study collects, reviews, and analyzes various literatures, including books, scientific articles, journals, and relevant documents. The results of the study indicate that the integration of technology, such as projectors, learning applications (Quizizz, Google Classroom), and YouTube videos, has succeeded in increasing student motivation and interactivity. However, its implementation has not been fully efficient due to several obstacles, such as unstable internet networks, limited learning time, and lack of student adaptation to digital methods. Therefore, teacher training, infrastructure improvements, and better time management are needed to optimize the use of digital media.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop interactive multimedia using construct 2 on the topic of temperature and heat. The research method used is Research and Development (R and D) which adopted the development of Borg and Gall. Based on the results of the validation from the content experts, the results obtained were 81% in the very good category, and the media experts gave a score of 94% for the very good category, and the results of the teacher’s response obtained a percentage score of 77% in the good category. Then interactive multimedia was tested through two stages, small group trials and field trials. The average results obtained were 83.6% for small group trials, and the results of field trials in three schools were 85%, 84%, and 84%, and the average was 85.7% in the very good category. So, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia is feasible and good for use in learning.

Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality in Indonesia. The number of new breast cancer cases has reached 68,858 cases (16.6%) out of a total of 396,914 new cancer cases. Conventional approaches to cancer therapy include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. However, these treatments are often expensive and associated with significant side effects. As a result, various preventive and therapeutic efforts have been developed, including the use of herbal plants with potential anticancer properties such as Annona muricata L. Therefore, a more in-depth review of this compound is needed. This article is based on data retrieved from databases such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, ClinicalKey, and Google Scholar using the keywords: “Annona muricata L.”, “breast cancer”, “acetogenin”, “apoptosis”, and “oxidative stress”. Articles in English or Indonesian within the last 10 years were included. The literature review revealed that Annona muricata L. contains active compounds, primarily acetogenins, which exhibit cytotoxic activity through the induction of apoptosis. Acetogenins act by inhibiting mitochondrial complex I (NADH dehydrogenase), resulting in decreased adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production, energy stress, and subsequently, apoptosis induction. In addition, acetogenins affect the intrinsic apoptotic pathway by downregulating anti-apoptotic proteins such as Bcl-2 and Bcl-xL, while upregulating p53 gene expression, which plays a key role in activating the extrinsic apoptosis pathway. Another mechanism is its ability to reduce oxidative stress by enhancing the activity of antioxidant enzymes, thereby protecting normal cells from free radical-induced damage. However, to date, studies of Annona muricata L. as an adjuvant therapy for breast cancer remain limited—especially regarding its long-term use and effects on normal cells. Therefore, Annona muricata L. holds potential as an adjunct therapy in the treatment of breast cancer. Further research is needed to determine the appropriate dosage, long-term effectiveness, and potential side effects, particularly in breast cancer patients.

Abstract

Earnings management is a form of deviation in the process of preparing financial statements, namely affecting the level of profit displayed in the financial statements. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence earnings management, namely Solvency, Corporate Social Responsibility , Profitability, and Company Size based on the findings of previous studies . The method used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data collection related to similar research was obtained from 50 journals from the Google Scholar database with a publication year range of 2023-2025. The results of this study indicate that the factors that have a significant effect on earnings management, namely Solvency, have an effect on earnings management. The greater the level of this solvency ratio , the greater the opportunity for managers to carry out earnings management so that the company can more easily obtain funds from creditors. Corporate Social Responsibility influence on earnings management. Improving sustainability performance through CSR by companies can encourage management to take higher earnings manipulation actions. Profitability influences earnings management. When the higher the profits earned by the company, the higher the Earnings Management practices carried out by the managers. Company ​size influences earnings management. The larger the size of a company, the smaller the opportunity to carry out earnings management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pendapatan asli daerah, dana alokasi umum dan belanja modal terhadap kemandirian keuangan daerah kabupaten/kota provinsi aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan gabungan data cross section dengan time series pada 23 kabupaten/kota Provinsi Aceh selama tahun 2019-2023. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan bantuan eviews 12. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pendapatan asli daerah berpegaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemandirian keuangan daerah. dana alokasi umum berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kemandirian keuangan daerah. belanja modal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemandirian keuangan daerah. Besarnya pengaruh pendapatan asli daerah, dana alokasi umum dan belanja modal terhadap kemandirian keuangan daerah kabupaten/kota Provinsi Aceh adalah sebesar 95,58 % dan berarti 4,42% lainnya dipengaruhi diluar variabel ini. Pentingnya hasil penelitian ini untuk memperkaya dan menguji teori-teori ekonomi publik, pengelolaan keuangan daerah dan kebijakan perpajakan. Hasil penelitian tidak hanya memberikan wawasan baru mengenai situasi pengelolaan keuangan daerah di indonesia, namun juga dapat menjadi landasan untuk lebih menyempurnakan dan mengembangan teori-teori yang sudah ada.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of big book media on reading comprehension skills of grade II students at SD Negeri 30 Palembang. The method used is True Experimental Design with the type of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample in this study were grade II B students as the experimental class and grade II D as the control class, each totaling 28 people. Data collection techniques used observation, tests and documentation, with instruments in the form of multiple choice questions. Data analysis techniques used include normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results showed that the average data value of the experimental class pretest was 55.36, the average posttest value of the experimental class was 75.00, while the average pretest value of the control was 52.50, and the average posttest value of the control was 55.36. The output of the normality test shows that the pretest-posttest data of the control class and the pretest-posttest of the experimental class are normally distributed, with a significance value of the pretest of the control class of 0.200> 0.05 and the posttest of the control class of 0.129> 0.05, while the pretest data of the experimental class is 0.196> 0.05 and the posttest of the experimental class is 0.200> 0.05. The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant influence of the influence of big book media on the reading ability of class II students at SD Negeri 30 Palembang
