Abstract

This empirical study tests the hypothesis using a questionnaire survey to explore the positive influence of green motives on green product innovation performance on environmentally friendly batik SMEs in East Java. This study examines instrumental, relational, and moral motives and reveals that motives instrumental is a stronger driver than moral motives, while relational motives have no significant effect. Interesting hypothesis test results in this research, sEmpirically, if studied, there is a lack of understanding among stakeholders in detail about environmentally friendly batik that meets standards, especially for communities living in batik SME centers. There is a lack of strong social legitimacy in the environment around batik SMEs. This causes the weakness of batik SMEs to gain competitiveness in national and international markets. However SMEs have a fairly high level of concern for the environment without the support of stakeholders. This study also determines that moral motives have a positive influence on environmentally friendly product innovation performance. This research suggests that environmentally friendly batik SMEs must continue to develop green products so that the business they run can be sustainable and balanced with environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Low fertility on peatlands has its own impact on people living in peatland areas. Areas that have peatlands include Selingsing village, Pelintung, Dumai City, Riau Province. In addition to influencing environmental factors, this also affects factors in the economy. Therefore, it is necessary to seek a solution for revitalization in order to overcome the problems in peatlands. One of the revitalization activities is an activity that has economic value but does not damage the environment. There needs to be socialization related to the use of peatlands and supporting innovations. Pineapple is one of the plants that can live well on peatlands. It is hoped that innovation in pineapple processing can be a solution for revitalizing peatlands. There are so many innovations of processed pineapple that can be of high economic value. The community service program that is packaged through real work lecture activities and the collaboration with the Peat Restoration Agency can provide benefits in the program. Through this program, he hopes to be able to provide the role of academics in devoting themselves to the community, especially in peatlands

Abstract

This study has successfully synthesized silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) using banana stem extract as the bioreductor and reported its application in adsorption of methylene blue (MB). Adsorption of MB was tested under ultraviolet light by varying pH solution values (3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, and 11), irradiation times (0,5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 hours), and MB concentrations (50, 100, 150, and 200 ppm) to determine their optimum values. The results revealed that the optimum pH value and irradiation time were at 9 and 1 hour, demonstrating the highest deconcentration percentage (%D) of 89.19% and 94.58%, respectively. The %D of MB dye by samples with concentrations of 50, 100, 150, and 200 ppm were 86.294%, 78.416%, 69.366%, and 66.638%, respectively, with an average of %D of 75.189%. The least degraded MB was 90.643 mg, obtained at 50 ppm. Meanwhile, the most degraded MB was 280.181 mg, attained at 200 ppm. The average concentration of degraded MB was 188.538 mg/gr.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a vast island state surrounded by extensive seas, holds a strategic advantage in the maritime sector. The coastal areas, rich in resources, play an indispensable role in the lives of numerous Indonesians. Despite the abundance of resources, the well-being of the population faces uncertainties attributed to management challenges. A prominent issue exacerbating the decline in the coastal ecosystem and diminishing productivity is the phenomenon of overfishing. Characterized by the excessive extraction of fish beyond their capacity to replenish, overfishing poses a severe threat to coastal areas. This unsustainable practice is rooted in legal ambiguities, conflicts in authority, and the bio-geophysical degradation of resources within coastal zones. The detrimental consequences of overfishing necessitate immediate attention and intervention to preserve coastal ecosystems and secure the livelihoods of those reliant on them. Addressing these challenges, the focus of this research is on preventing the widespread occurrence of overfishing in coastal areas and mitigating the impacts of existing overfishing activities. The primary strategy proposed involves the development of a robust legal framework for the management of coastal areas. Through the establishment of clear legal guidelines, resolution of uncertainties, and mitigation of conflicts in authority, this research aims to lay the groundwork for sustainable and responsible practices in coastal resource management. The research aims to provide valuable insights that contribute to the enhancement of coastal area management, ultimately fostering ecological sustainability and improving the welfare of communities dependent on these vital resources. By delving into the complexities of coastal resource management, this study seeks to enrich the discourse surrounding sustainable practices, thereby facilitating informed decision-making and policy development in the quest for a harmonious coexistence between human communities and coastal ecosystems in Indonesia.

Abstract

The study of networks in the internationalization process of SMEs has become an interesting discussion, this condition is because each country has unique dynamics in utilizing existing networks. The results of the analysis of the 20 articles in this study show that being proactive in the network community will strengthen relationships with partners and implementing an alliance strategy will strengthen the position of SMEs in increasing competitiveness and expanding markets. This condition occurs in both developing and developed countries. The dominant factor influencing the speed of the internationalization process is social and business network relations that begin with social ties. Of the 8 articles that discuss networking in the process of internationalization in developed countries (China, Central America, and East America), it shows that the government as an institution that has an important role in the internationalization of SMEs needs to design a framework in the form of policies that encourage the acceleration of various forms of collaboration between businesses. Meanwhile, 12 articles that discuss the process of internationalization in developing countries show that for the expansion and growth of SMEs a social network structure is needed, and the role of ethnic (group) ties in internationalization.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a viral disease transmitted by mosquitoes that has spread rapidly in all regions of the world in recent years. Currently, dengue fever is still a health problem in both urban and semi-urban areas. Vector behavior and its relationship with the environment, such as climate, vector control, urbanization, etc. influence the occurrence of dengue fever outbreaks in urban areas. The aim of this research is to determine the risk factors associated with the presence of Aedes Aegypti mosquito larvae in Tuah Karya Village, Sidomulyo Health Center Area. This research design uses a cross sectional approach with the Chi-square test. Data collection methods are carried out through measurements, interviews, questionnaires and observation. The population of all heads of families (KK) in the Tuah Karya Subdistrict, Tuah Madani District is 7,624 families using cluster sampling as a sampling technique with a sample size of 100 respondents. The research results showed a significant relationship between pH (p value = 0.000), water turbidity (p value= 0.000), the presence of a landfill (p value = 0.000), level of knowledge (p value = 0.000) and the presence of mosquito larvae, while there was no significant relationship. significant relationship between PSN behavior and the presence of mosquito larvae (p value = 0.137). It is hoped that the Sidomulyo Community Health Center will routinely monitor the landfill by checking community bathtubs, routinely distributing abate powder, routinely conducting fogging, larva surveys and conducting outreach to increase community knowledge. Keywords : Aedes aegypti, pH, Landfill presence, Knowledge, PSN, Mosquito Larvae
