Abstract

This study aims to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Using a descriptive qualitative approach with library research methods, this research analyzes various relevant literature sources. The findings indicate that PBL offers significant advantages in the context of PAI, including the development of critical, analytical, and reflective thinking skills, strengthening moral and spiritual responsibility, fostering collaboration, and increasing student learning motivation through solving authentic, contextual problems. However, the implementation of PBL in PAI also faces several challenges, such as the low pedagogical readiness of teachers in designing problem scenarios aligned with Islamic values, limitations in time and learning facilities, and resistance to the shift from traditional teaching paradigms. The success of PBL in PAI heavily depends on the teacher's ability as a facilitator to integrate modern constructivist approaches with the principles of Islamic pedagogy, such as tarbiyah, ta'dib, and muhasabah. This study concludes that PBL is a relevant and effective learning model for PAI, provided there is adequate support for teacher competency development and learning infrastructure.

Abstract

This investigation endeavors to explore the integration of Pavlov's classical conditioning theory with Piaget's stages of cognitive development in the articulation of comprehensive learning principles. The methodological approach adopted is a systematic literature review that amalgamates core tenets from Pavlovian theory and Piaget's cognitive developmental phases. The outcomes demonstrate that the confluence of these two paradigms furnishes a robust foundation for devising adaptive learning frameworks oriented toward holistic student maturation. This synthesis emphasizes that comprehensive learning extends beyond mere stimulus-response dynamics, incorporating students' cognitive progression and mental engagements. Accordingly, this framework enables the formulation of dynamic and contextually attuned learning experiences commensurate with students' developmental exigencies. The study asserts that the convergence of classical and cognitive theories is imperative as a cornerstone for contemporary pedagogical practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas integrasi keilmuan turats dan kontemporer di Ma’had Aly Al-Islahuddiny sebagai respons terhadap tantangan relevansi pendidikan Islam dalam konteks lokal dan global. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, penelitian ini menganalisis pemikiran tokoh-tokoh pembaru pendidikan Islam, konsep epistemologi integralistik, serta strategi kurikulum yang menggabungkan nilai-nilai keislaman dengan kebutuhan dunia modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ma’had Aly Al-Islahuddiny mengembangkan kurikulum yang mengintegrasikan metode pembelajaran tradisional seperti halaqah dengan teknologi pembelajaran kontemporer. Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of natural and artificial laboratories as a strategy for strengthening language competencies in accordance with the demands of modern learning. Through library research and content analysis methods, the study reviewed literature on the characteristics and models of integration of the two laboratories. The results of the study indicate that in the context of Arabic language learning in Islamic boarding schools, natural laboratories play a role in providing contextual learning experiences through authentic environments such as dormitories, mosques, and students' daily activities, while artificial laboratories provide structured learning through technology-based simulations. Although its implementation still faces limitations in facilities and educator competence, this approach has strong potential to be developed as an Arabic language learning strategy that is relevant to the demands of today's learning in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

In the current millennial era, it is a very important task for an educator in the formation of the religious character of students. Not only to add positive activities for students, but also to strengthen the foundation of faith that will continue to be held firmly in the students. This study was conducted with the aim of examining the implementation of collective dhikr in the formation of the religious character of students through Thariqah Naqsyabandiyah Mudzhariyah. The research method used in this study is library research, namely by collecting various data from books, journals, and other scientific sources relevant to the theme of dhikr, the formation of religious character, and the teachings of Thariqah Naqsyabandiyah Mudzhariyah. In this study aims to be able to provide research results that show that Collective Dhikr activities have a very important role in fostering religious values ​​​​to educators. Such as discipline of worship, patience, sincerity, and togetherness. Through the continuous implementation of this dhikr, students can not only form a spiritual closeness with God, but can also build a strong moral and social character according to the teachings of Sufism. Abstract

Innovation is needed to support the Arabic language learning process carried out online. One form of this innovation can be realized through the use of learning media. Learning media play a role in arousing students' motivation and enthusiasm for learning, which can ultimately improve their learning outcomes. This study aims to conduct a literature review on the use of Kahoot in Arabic language learning. The method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data were collected by documenting and reviewing all articles discussing Arabic language learning assisted by the Kahoot application published between 2018 and 2024. A total of 13 articles from accredited national journals, obtained from the Sinta and Google Scholar databases using the Publish or Perish application, served as the data sources for this study. The results of the study indicate that Kahoot can be used as one of the teacher innovations and assessments in the Arabic language learning process and can improve learning outcomes, motivation, and student effectiveness in learning Arabic.

Abstract

Desentralisasi pendidikan telah mengubah gaya pendidikan yang lebih desentralistik kepada pemerintah daerah dan lembaga pendidikan. Adanya otonomisasi yang menjadikan pendidikan lebih demokratis dan menjangkau seluruh elemen masyarakat, sehingga lembaga pendidikan islam harus memiliki strategi kemandirian dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan tentang implikasi kebijakan desentralisasi pendidikan terhadap pendidikan islam di indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yaitu penelitian yang mengkaji objek penelitian dengan didasarkan pada bahan pustaka yang relevan seperti buku, artikel ilmiah dan sumber bacaan lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan desentralisasi pendidikan telah berdampak pada pendidikan islam di Indonesia, diantaranya: pemberdayaan pemerintah daerah dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan islam, penyusunan kurikulum pendidikan islam yang lebih fleksibel, peningkatan kualitas pendidikan islam melalui pengelolaan terfokus, dan pemerataan akses pendidikan islam di daerah terpencil.Decentralization of education has changed the style of education to a more decentralized one towards local governments and educational institutions. The existence of autonomy makes education more democratic and reaches all elements of society, so that Islamic educational institutions must have an independent strategy in providing education. So this research aims to describe the implications of educational decentralization policies for Islamic education in Indonesia. The research method used is library research, namely research that examines research objects based on relevant library materials such as books, scientific articles and other reading sources. The results of this research show that the education decentralization policy has had an impact on Islamic education in Indonesia, including: empowering local governments in managing Islamic education institutions, preparing a more flexible Islamic education curriculum, improving the quality of Islamic education through focused management, and equalizing access to Islamic education in remote areas.

Abstract

First Language Acquisition is a crucial process influenced by various language learning theories. This research aims to comprehensively analyze the application of the main L1 theories, such as Behaviorism, Nativism, and Interactionism, and to thoroughly examine the concept, utility, and identification techniques of students’ prior knowledge within the context of child language acquisition. Employing a critical analytica l literature review method, the findings indicate that L1 Acquisition is not solely explained by one theory but results from the interaction between innate endowment (LAD) and environmental input. A key finding highlights that the identification of prior knowledge, encompassing cognitive, linguistic, and social aspects, is highly functional as a basis for determining appropriate scaffolding and providing comprehensible language input. The most relevant detection techniques involve direct observation and analysis of children’s spontaneous speech.It is concluded that a holistic understanding of L1 theories and the early identification of prior knowledge is essential for educators and parents. This finding has implications for formulating personalized language development strategies, thereby optimizing children’s language potential from an early age.

Abstract

This article examines the conceptual and functional relationship between logic and language, emphasizing their integral role in shaping human reasoning, communication, and social behavior. Using a qualitative approach through library research, this study analyzes classical and contemporary perspectives in philosophy, linguistics, and communication studies. The findings show that logical structures significantly influence linguistic clarity, while language provides the medium through which rational propositions, definitions, and arguments are expressed. Ambiguity in language, digital communication patterns, misinformation, and the rise of artificial intelligence demonstrate how inconsistencies in logic and language can affect social interpretation and decision-making. Furthermore, language plays a vital role in forming social identity, critical thinking, and scientific development. This study concludes that integrating logical literacy and linguistic proficiency is essential for navigating modern communication challenges and strengthening the intellectual foundation of society.
