Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kedudukan filsafat dalam ranah pendidikan serta alasan‑alasan mengapa filsafat menerima, menelaah, dan memverifikasi pengetahuan. Kajian dilakukan melalui sintesis kepustakaan (literature review) terhadap karya‑karya klasik dan kontemporer, termasuk karya Prof. Dr. H. Andi Marjuni tentang filsafat pendidikan Islam, serta artikel‑artikel jurnal yang relevan. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa filsafat menempati posisi sebagai landasan ontologis, epistemologis, dan aksiologis bagi praktik pendidikan; filsafat menerima pengetahuan karena kebutuhan untuk memahami hakikat kebenaran, sumber pengetahuan, dan nilai orientasinya; dan integrasi filsafat dalam pendidikan memungkinkan pengembangan kurikulum yang holistik dan praksis pembelajaran yang kritis serta beretika

Abstract

Abstrak Pelajaran IPS di sekolah memiliki cakupan materi berkaitan dengan permasalahan sosial. Cakupan materi tersebut bersifat kompleks dan maju sehingga memerlukan pembelajaran dari berbagai bidang ilmu sosial. Kebanyakan pembelajaran IPS hanya didasari pada langkah-langkah pembelajaran diajarkan teori / definisi lalu diberikan contoh dan yang terakhir adalah latihan soal. Dengan kondisi demikian maka masih kurangnya tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang dikatakan belum berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas pembelajaran IPS dengan sumber belajar sekolah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa di SMPN 1 Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif quasi experiment. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa menggunakan sumber belajar lingkungan sekolah lebih efektif daripada menggunakan metode diskusi kelas. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil observasi dan test pada masing-masing kelas dengan menggunakan sumber belajar lingkungan sekolah anak anak dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, iv siswa jadi termotivasi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan / soal secara aktif. Sehingga secara otomatis juga dapat melatih berpikir kreatif siswa dengan menyampaikan semua ide-ide nya. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Pembelajaran IPS, Berpikir Kreatif

Abstract

The Effects of Outline to Improve Students’ Writing Ability at the Second Year Students of SMAN 3 Mamuju. Outline is a useful tool to help writers get easier in developing their ideas. An outline can do two things: first, it can save a lot of rewriting and second, it allows writers to check quickly their paragraph’s unity. The aim of this research is to find out whether the use of outline can improve the students’ writing ability in a descriptive paragraph. The method used was true-experimental design. The subject of this research was class XI A students of SMAN 3 Mamuju. The data collected was from the test given to the students and was analyzed through quantitative method. To get the score, the researcher used scoring scale which includes the content, organization, vocabulary, language use and mechanics. The mean score, standard deviation, and t-test between the pre-test and post-test was calculated by using Jacob’s scoring rubric. The data analysis showed that the students’ got their mean score greater in the posttest than in the pretest, in which the mean score was 51.8 and 68.5. Moreover, the t-test value (25.064) was also higher than the t-table value (2.045), which is meant the treatment of outline strategy gave a significant improvement to the students’ writing ability of SMAN 3 Mamuju.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether the use of mind mapping can motivate the students in writing. The method was used is mix method (Quantitative and Qualitative). The subject of this research was the second semester students of Tomakaka University of Mamuju. The data was collected and analyzed through scoring scale which includes the content, organization, vocabulary, language use and mechanics by using Jacob’s scoring rubric. Then, to find out the students are motivated through the method applied or not, it was used questionnaire and interview. The questionnaire wasanalyzed by the Likert scale, it is divided into strongly motivated, motivated, fairly motivated, unmotivated, and strongly unmotivated.Then, interview are used to confirm the students answers in the questionnaire. The result of this research is the second semester students of TomakakaUniversity of Mamuju are motivated in writing through Mind Mapping method. It can be shown from the data of writing test, questionnaire and interview. The result of the treatment given showed a trend of increasing students’ writing score. And also, students gave positive responses to the questionnaire distributed where most students answered that Mind Mapping method was very useful in increasing their writing motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of hadith values ​​in strengthening disciplinary policies and character building of students at MIS Teladan 1 Ujung Kubu. The hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW is used as a normative and pedagogical basis in the formulation of disciplinary policies that are educational, humanistic, and oriented towards fostering noble character. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through direct observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, and documentation studies of madrasah rules and programs. The results show that the values ​​of hadith are implemented systematically through the habit of time discipline, instilling manners in daily interactions, teachers' exemplary behavior as role models, and strengthening religious activities such as congregational prayer and prayer habits. The hadith-based disciplinary policy has been proven to contribute positively to strengthening student character, especially in aspects of discipline, responsibility, religious attitudes, and social behavior. This study concludes that the integration of hadith values ​​in disciplinary policies is effective in supporting the goals of Islamic education in elementary madrasas.

Abstract

Abstract: This research at the PT. PLN (Persero) Amuntai Customer Service Unit aims to determine if customer satisfaction is impacted by service quality. The results of a basic linear regression statistical analysis were processed using SPSS statistics software version 22.0 as part of the quantitative methodology of this investigation. For this study, the sample consisted of 40 respondents. Among the analytical methods used in this study are the determination coefficient (R2), the t test (partial test), the validity and reliability tests, the basic linear regression analysis, and the traditional assumption test (normality). The results of the investigation show that the service quality variable has a positive and substantial influence on PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Amuntai's customer satisfaction. The correlation coefficient (R) of 0.965 shows a substantial and positive association between customer satisfaction (Y) and service quality (X). The fundamental linear regression equation that was generated is Y = - 2.250 + 0.603X. The t-test (partial test) findings revealed that Ha was accepted whereas H0 was rejected, with the computed t-value being 22.724 > the table t-value of 1.685 and the significance value being 0.000 < 0.05. Abstract

This research aimed to develop and evaluate Basic Science Concepts instructional materials integrating a project-based inquiry model (BAKDIPA) to improve among pre-service elementary teachers. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the Plomp model, consisting of Investigation, Design, and Realization phases. The participants included 33 students in the experimental class and 35 students in the control class enrolled in a Basic Science Concepts course. Data were collected using validation sheets, SPS test instruments, and practicality questionnaires. Experts and practitioners assessed the validity of the developed product, while its practicality and effectiveness were examined through field implementation. The validation results revealed a high level of validity with overall mean scores of 4.10 for the Semester Learning Plan and 4.27 for instructional materials, categorized as “very valid”. Practicality assessment also indicated positive user responses, confirming that the material was feasible to implement. The effectiveness test using a paired t-test indicated a significant improvement in SPS, where the tcount (14.5) > ttable (2.87). The normalized gain analysis further showed an N-Gain of 0.813, categorized as medium effectiveness, while the distribution of SPS levels demonstrated that more students in the experimental class achieved high proficiency compared to the control class. In conclusion, the BAKDIPA instructional material is valid, practical, and effective for enhancing SPS in Basic Science learning for pre-service elementary teachers. This research provides a promising contribution toward strengthening inquiry-oriented science education in teacher preparation programs.

Abstract

Low student achievement in mathematics, particularly in arithmetic sequences and series, has led to decreased learning motivation and participation. Therefore, innovative and engaging instructional strategies are required, one of which is the implementation of ice-breaking activities to reduce boredom and enhance students’ learning engagement. This study aimed to examine the effect of implementing ice breaking on the mathematics learning outcomes of tenth-grade students at SMK Kesehatan Samarinda in the topic of arithmetic sequences and series. This research employed an experimental method using a quasi-experimental design, involving two groups: an experimental group that received instruction incorporating ice breaking and a control group that did not receive such treatment. The total sample consisted of 60 students selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a learning achievement test administered as a pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test to determine differences in learning outcomes between the two groups. The results revealed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of ice breaking has a significant effect on improving students’ mathematics learning outcomes. This strategy creates a more active, interactive, and enjoyable learning environment, thereby facilitating students’ understanding of mathematical concepts, particularly arithmetic sequences and series.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari permasalahan rendahnya penguasaan konsep siswa terhadap materi segitiga istimewa pada kelas IX SMP. Pembelajaran yang selama ini diterapkan cenderung bersifat abstrak dan berpusat pada penjelasan guru tanpa pemanfaatan media konkret, sehingga menyebabkan siswa kesulitan memahami perbandingan sisi pada segitiga 30°–60°–90° dan 45°–45°–90°. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan implementasi model Discovery Learning yang didukung oleh alat peraga segitiga istimewa serta mengkaji respons dan tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek sebanyak 18 siswa kelas IX SMP. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), angket respons siswa, dan tes pemahaman konsep. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning berbantuan alat peraga segitiga istimewa dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa, memfasilitasi siswa dalam menemukan secara mandiri konsep perbandingan sisi segitiga istimewa, serta memperoleh tanggapan positif dari siswa. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran melalui Discovery Learning yang didukung alat peraga segitiga istimewa terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa.

Abstract

Career women are individuals who have dual roles that working outside the home and managing household responsibilities. The demands of career women in external world often lead to conflicts in household, which if not resolved promptly, can persist and even result in divorce. This practice of career women is common among the people of Cukilan Village, Suruh District, Semarang Regency. Based on the above background, the researcher focuses on investigating the reasons behind becoming a career woman and how career women achieve family resilience from a phenomenological and Maqasid Sharia perspective.This research is field research using a phenomenological approach and Maqasid Sharia. The research data sources are primary and secondary data. The data collection technique is through interviews. The results of this study show that the background of career women practices influenced by several motives, namely economic motives, social motives, educational motives, self-actualization motives, and cultural motives. From the motives underlying the practices of career women, when viewed from the perspective of Alfred Schutz's phenomenological theory are practices that are in accordance with his stated. Meanwhile, according to Jasser Auda's maqasid sharia perspective, hifz ad-din is realized by maintaining boundaries in accordance with religious rules. Hifz al-maal is realized by providing for needs of the family and children. Hifdzunnafs occurs through the realization of the functions of socialization, protection, emotional support, recreation, and love in family. Hifz al-aql is realized the function of education and providing a good religious foundation for children. Hifz an-nasl is realized by making time to gather with the family. Hifz al-'ird is realized by appearing appropriately, not excessively and not violating religious teachings. This study recommends strengthening maqāṣid-based family resilience literacy through a more equitable division of roles between husband and wife, structured communication and conflict management, and community support as well as family-friendly workplace policies.
