Abstract

Data were collected from 42 respondents consisting of students and alumni of the PBA program at UIN Malang who participated in masrahiyyah, through an online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS, including tests of validity, reliability, and multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that masrahiyyah has a significant positive impact on both speaking (kalam) ability and critical thinking. However, the influence on speaking skills is greater than that on critical thinking. This study highlights masrahiyyah as an effective strategy for promoting communicative and analytical competence in Arabic language learning.

Abstract” In today's digital era, the utilization of technology in the learning process is becoming increasingly important. Online learning applications such as Al-Mumtaz have the potential to overcome the limitations of conventional learning methods and increase student interest and motivation to learn. However, the effect of using the Al-Mumtaz application on student learning outcomes at Mahmud Yunus State Islamic University Batusangkar has not been widely studied. This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of using the Al-Mumtaz application on student learning outcomes at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar and provide evidence-based recommendations regarding the effectiveness of digital learning applications. This study used a quantitative pre-experiment design with a sample of Arabic language education students who used the Al-Mumtaz application. Data were collected through initial and final tests, and analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and paired t tests. The analysis showed that 10 out of 15 questions were valid and reliable. The data were normally distributed and met the assumption of homogeneity of variance. The paired t-test revealed a significant mean difference between the pre-test (62.50) and post-test (89.00) scores after the use of Al-Mumtaz application, with an increase of 23.50.The use of Al-Mumtaz application in Arabic language learning at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar provides significant results. This study confirms the positive effect of Al-Mumtaz application on student learning outcomes and highlights the importance of technology in improving the effectiveness of learning in the academic environment.

The population in this study consists of 12 Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia, with 5 of them selected as samples. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The study utilizes secondary data from quarterly financial ratio reports of Islamic banks published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The analysis involves evaluating the impact of CAR, NPF, NOM, BOPO, and FDR on ROA using multiple linear regression analysis.ResultsThe findings indicate that, partially, CAR and NPF do not significantly affect the ROA of Islamic banks. However, NOM, BOPO, and FDR have a significant impact on the ROA of Islamic banks.Implicationsthe research motivates Islamic bank management to improve their financial ratios to meet the health criteria set by Bank Indonesia (BI) and OJK. Maintaining healthy financial ratios has implications for the level of trust that customers and potential customers have in Islamic banks and ultimately determines the long-term existence of these banks.Originality/NoveltyThis study contributes to the development of risk management theory by examining the factors influencing the fluctuations in the values of CAR, NPF, NOM, BOPO, and FDR on the ROA of Islamic banks.

Abstract

The study examines the effectiveness of the guided discovery method on the learning of nahwu in the VIII grade at SMPIT Izzatuna Palembang. In addition, there is a problem of low motivation and enthusiasm in learning Nahwu using the old methods. Nahwu is considered to be a difficult and exhausting lesson, so innovation in the methods of learning is required. With the guided discovery method, students are expected to be able to find the structure of Arabic words in learning nahwu, and is expected to make learners more active and creative in the learning process, where teachers act as facilitators that direct and guide them—research using a quasi-experimental approach with a sample of 34 students. The data collection used pre-test and post-test results. The analysis methods used were descriptive tests, homogeneity tests, normality tests, paired sample T-tests, independent sample t-tests, and N-Gain tests. The research results concluded that the guided discovery method can improve learning outcomes, interest, and motivation of students toward Nahwu learning. This is evident from the average results obtained by the experimental class, which was 80, better and more effective compared to the control class, which obtained an average result of 60 using the Istiqroiyah method. From the average results, the guided discovery method can improve learning outcomes by 20 points.
