Abstract

The arrangement and management of green open spaces (RTH) is an important part of regional spatial planning policies that focus on sustainable development and improving the quality of public services. This study aims to apply the principles of good governance participation, accountability, effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency in governance in the management of green open spaces in Enrekang Regency. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, field observations, and reviews of regional planning documents. Data were analyzed using inductive reduction, presentation, and conclusion techniques. The results show that the application of good governance principles in the arrangement of green open spaces in Enrekang Regency is not optimal. The aspect of community participation is still symbolic because community involvement occurs more at the socialization stage than in substantive planning. Accountability for program implementation has not been measured transparently, especially in budget management and reporting of activity results. In addition, program effectiveness is hampered by limited human resource capacity and coordination between local government institutions. Despite the regional government's commitment to expanding green open space (GOS) as mandated by Law Number 26 of 2007 concerning Spatial Planning, its implementation still faces structural and institutional challenges. This study recommends strengthening environmental governance institutions by expanding meaningful public space participation, increasing transparency in planning and budgeting processes, and establishing a performance-based evaluation system to ensure the sustainability of GOS policies. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating good governance and environmental policies to improve the quality of public services and community welfare at the regional level.

Abstract

Abstract

This article examines the legal treatment of a poliandrous unregistered marriage within the Indonesian marriage law framework through a normative juridical analysis of Decision Number 531/Pdt.P/2021/PA.Pwl. The study focuses on how religious court judges apply the monogamy principle, as enshrined in the Marriage Law, the Compilation of Islamic Law, and relevant Islamic legal texts, when assessing a petition for isbat nikah filed by a woman who remains legally married to her first husband while entering into a subsequent siri marriage. Using a statute approach and case approach, the research analyses statutory provisions on marriage validity, marriage registration, prevention and annulment of marriage, and the legal consequences of fasid (defective) marriages for spouses and children. The findings highlight the doctrinal and practical boundaries of judicial authority in legalising unregistered marriages that conflict with monogamy and demonstrate how the courts reconcile protection of children’s civil rights with the non-recognition of the underlying poliandrous union

Abstract

This research investigates how education levels, Special Autonomy Funds, and economic growth influence poverty in the districts and cities of Aceh Province. The study uses panel data from 2019 to 2024, obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK), and applies panel regression analysis. Among the models tested, the Random Effects Model (REM) was identified as the most suitable approach. The results reveal that education expenditure and special autonomy funds significantly reduce poverty, whereas economic growth shows a positive but statistically insignificant effect. Combined analysis indicates that education levels, special autonomy funds, and economic growth together have a significant positive impact on poverty levels in Aceh’s districts and cities. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the Aceh government enhance investments in education and improve education quality through effective use of special autonomy funds. Such measures are expected to foster economic growth and contribute to the reduction of poverty across the province

Abstract

Structural batteries are a crucial solution in dealing with issues related to vehicle electrification to achieve energy sustainability in the future. However, the development of structural battery technology for electric-powered ships is still very limited. In particular, there are limitations in evaluating the mechanical performance of carbon fiber/polyester-PEG based composite materials for structural battery applications in electrically powered vessels. The main focus of this research is to fabricate carbon fiber/polyester-PEG to further observe the performance of its mechanical properties and structure when interacting with sea water. The value of the addition of polyethylene glycol (PEG) to the fabrication carried out was varied by 0%, 10%, and 25%. The results show that addition of 10% PEG produces a composite with the highest tensile strength, increasing the toughness of the polyester material. However, all samples experienced a decrease in tensile strength after immersion due to decreased bond performance between the fibers and seawater. The addition of 25% PEG resulted in a significant decrease in mechanical properties because high levels of PEG content made the sample easily brittle and destroyed when interacting with seawater. This research can provide initial studies on the development of carbon fiber/polyester-PEG composite materials that can be used as structural battery building materials for future electric boat applications.

Abstract

This study examines the role of a school-based learning community in strengthening teachers’ competencies in educational technology integration in a public lower secondary school located in an urban, resource-constrained educational setting. The school is characterized by high teacher participation in collaborative professional development initiatives aimed at supporting digital transformation. A mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design was employed to obtain a comprehensive understanding of how collaborative structures contribute to teacher competency development. Quantitative data were collected through a survey administered to 21 active teacher members of the learning community. Qualitative data were gathered through in-depth interviews and classroom observations and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that technology integration remains influenced by contextual constraints, including limited digital literacy, infrastructure limitations, workload pressures, and policy support challenges. The learning community operates as a Professional Learning Community (PLC), facilitating collaborative inquiry, reflective dialogue, peer support, and structured professional learning activities. Participation in the community appears to support the development of teachers’ competencies within the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, particularly in integrating technology with pedagogy and subject content.
