Abstract

This research investigates how education levels, Special Autonomy Funds, and economic growth influence poverty in the districts and cities of Aceh Province. The study uses panel data from 2019 to 2024, obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK), and applies panel regression analysis. Among the models tested, the Random Effects Model (REM) was identified as the most suitable approach. The results reveal that education expenditure and special autonomy funds significantly reduce poverty, whereas economic growth shows a positive but statistically insignificant effect. Combined analysis indicates that education levels, special autonomy funds, and economic growth together have a significant positive impact on poverty levels in Aceh’s districts and cities. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the Aceh government enhance investments in education and improve education quality through effective use of special autonomy funds. Such measures are expected to foster economic growth and contribute to the reduction of poverty across the province

Abstract

Structural batteries are a crucial solution in dealing with issues related to vehicle electrification to achieve energy sustainability in the future. However, the development of structural battery technology for electric-powered ships is still very limited. In particular, there are limitations in evaluating the mechanical performance of carbon fiber/polyester-PEG based composite materials for structural battery applications in electrically powered vessels. The main focus of this research is to fabricate carbon fiber/polyester-PEG to further observe the performance of its mechanical properties and structure when interacting with sea water. The value of the addition of polyethylene glycol (PEG) to the fabrication carried out was varied by 0%, 10%, and 25%. The results show that addition of 10% PEG produces a composite with the highest tensile strength, increasing the toughness of the polyester material. However, all samples experienced a decrease in tensile strength after immersion due to decreased bond performance between the fibers and seawater. The addition of 25% PEG resulted in a significant decrease in mechanical properties because high levels of PEG content made the sample easily brittle and destroyed when interacting with seawater. This research can provide initial studies on the development of carbon fiber/polyester-PEG composite materials that can be used as structural battery building materials for future electric boat applications.

Abstract

This study examines the role of a school-based learning community in strengthening teachers’ competencies in educational technology integration in a public lower secondary school located in an urban, resource-constrained educational setting. The school is characterized by high teacher participation in collaborative professional development initiatives aimed at supporting digital transformation. A mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design was employed to obtain a comprehensive understanding of how collaborative structures contribute to teacher competency development. Quantitative data were collected through a survey administered to 21 active teacher members of the learning community. Qualitative data were gathered through in-depth interviews and classroom observations and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that technology integration remains influenced by contextual constraints, including limited digital literacy, infrastructure limitations, workload pressures, and policy support challenges. The learning community operates as a Professional Learning Community (PLC), facilitating collaborative inquiry, reflective dialogue, peer support, and structured professional learning activities. Participation in the community appears to support the development of teachers’ competencies within the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, particularly in integrating technology with pedagogy and subject content.

Abstract

Abstract

One increasingly relevant approach is the use of micro-influencers, whose content credibility is believed to foster consumer trust and encourage digital engagement. However, many MSME actors still face challenges in optimizing influencer marketing, and prior research has reported contradictory findings. This study aims to analyze the effect of micro-influencer content credibility on consumers’ purchase intention in culinary MSMEs, both directly and indirectly through brand trust and digital engagement. A quantitative approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of AMOS software. Data were collected from 210 respondents who are consumers of culinary MSMEs in Pare-Pare City and Pinrang Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The results show that micro-influencer content credibility has a significant positive effect on brand trust, digital engagement, and purchase intention. Furthermore, digital engagement was found to mediate the relationship between micro-influencer content credibility and purchase intention, while the mediating role of brand trust was not significant. These findings provide theoretical contributions to the literature on influencer-based digital marketing and practical implications in the form of recommendations for MSMEs to optimize collaborations with credible micro-influencers in creating interactive content that enhances consumer digital engagement and drives purchase intention.
